Cool, and take your time I'm in no hurry and have basically given up looking for it myself. But it allways comes to mind when I'm around cartoon stuff !!! Would like to learn the song in it's entirety.
I'm looking for a song that is used in these cartoons that is played when things start to get going like the conveyor belt scene or around machinery in the factories ya know what I'm talk'n about ? It goes something like:
dentdentdent denina denina dent dentdentdent denina denina dent
get my drift on it? it's about as close to it as I'm gonna come.
I'm looking for the original version, the name of the song and the composer. Any idea's ????
I like the bands earlier music the best. I saw their first 3 tours. The first time they ever played philly they opened up for Robin Trower of whom I've also seen many times. It was the only time that I ever heard Trower say anything to an audience because he doesn't evan sing. His exact word's were Sorry, but I'm f'n off tonight. Rush raised quite an eyebrow when they first came on the scene, and an excellent band I might add.
Actually I was thinking of this obscure character in one of the older looney tunes. It had the voice of Edward G. and as I recall was in jail going nuts and just had to get out. It's been over twenty years or more since I've seen that episode and I can't even remember what the character looked like. But know it was one of those one shot deals ya know. Anyway the shark is fine and thx.
I'm gonna take for granted you know alot about the old cartoons. So I'm gonna go out on a limb to ask if you know as much about the music. If you do, then I have a question for you.
I saw blondie the first time she played the spectrum in philly back in the 70's. she was fronting rush and got boo'd off stage. she didn't last 15 or so minutes from what i can remember. if i was her i would of went back stage and shot my manager for this mismatch on the touring. evan though i don't care for her music i do like her voice.
GO FOR IT !!!!!!!
