With news this AM, I believe you're about to have a repeat performance also! Congrats to all longs!!
Thx for your perspective aapples. I don't think the co will want to flounder around in penny land any longer than they must. Once things are looking up and revs start to come in, I think they will want to reduce the OS. BTW, if the stock only gets to $.10/sh, a 1:30 RS gives us a $3 stock-and movement to a better place on a major exchange. Then with only 30M OS, this thing would skyrocket with execution of the business plan.
I think you could be correct about moving to a new exchange. Hopefully we'll get some bump in stock price this year and early next, then I bet we have a RS-maybe 1:30- to get OS more in line, and then hopefully a move to a new exchange and be set up for some long term outstanding growth. Truly a great work in progress...bring it on!!
logytwo, I know you've been around since the early days of this co and have always been a supporter. It looks as if the foundation is established, and it should be only up from here. Good things do come to those that wait!
Looks like HDVY may finally be getting some traction-could be a good next year! Thx for the post.
Dear Slap,
You're way off-just over $1/sh needed for B/E for many-IMO that may happen in just hours with the right news; but you have to own shares to benefit.
I think your post is spot on-I'm very pleased with how this is progressing, and with the management team in place. I've got my primary position established, but adding some as we go. For each positive step the company executes, I usually add a little bit more.
Correct, but I've been buying recently, so not too worried about the small delta now. I want to make sure I get in on any major move later.
Exactly, just starting to get all the pieces in place. Probably be next year before this takes off, but I don't want to be left in the dust when it happens-so IMO now is the time to buy at these prices.
Bought some more this AM--quietly waiting for the plan to come together! Could be a while yet IMO.
Looks like the move to the OCBB is happening now. Can't log in to Yahoo mb under DECN.pk. Hopefully in the next several weeks we hear good news from FDA.
Trimmer, it's posted on Yahoo finance-here's the link to the expanded version-doesn't tell us much we didn't already know.

On the video, pay particular attention at 1:32 if you have questions re. whether this equipment is Viking's or not!!
You may be right-but this just broke through the 50DMA, and the 200DMA is above .006. Seems to me there's lots more room to run if volume continues.
The SEC has taken no action against the CEO at this time-even if they had, it has nothing to do with Positron and it's business plan or execution. The company is moving ahead as planned.
Virtually all pennies are manipulated, shorts or not; however, when this trades 30+Million shares/day on the right news, it will move in only 1 direction!
The right news would be great!
It has nothing to do with who is bright or not-short term movements make anyone look like a fool (ie. look at the close after your comments!) This is a long term play, and it will probably have some good benefits for investors in the short to medium term (1-12 months). A good weekend to everyone!
And there she blows-nice 1M purchase!!
Way down the road I could see GE getting back in--if you get my drift!
I concur with you that a RS will be in the cards, but I think it will be down the road, and we will be at a much higher pps than currently.
You failed to use a multiplier in the numbers for pps. I came up with $.10/share rough estimate for net income. If you apply a 10 multiple (which I feel is low), you have $1.00/share. It would not be out of the question to have a 15 to 20 multiplier instead. All IMO.
Nordion! That could be sweet and would probably move this baby big time, depending on the terms of the agreement!
From p11 of the 2011 Nordion Annual Report re. planned strategies:
diversify the supply of medical isotopes;
explore strategic opportunities for cyclotron-based isotopes
leverage capacity, reliability of supply, and commercial flexibility to meet customer needs.
I agree, pps is low for what this company has going for it-pps is too often manipulated with penny stocks. In time the right news will be released, and with the associated high volume, the pps should increase accordingly.
You're talking in terms of current pps, I'm talking about the company business, which will take time to build.
The clock isn't stopped, we just can't see what's going on behind the scenes. We'll know when the company announces the next bit of news, whatever and whenever that is....
IMO you're a smart man, Trimmer!
I believe you need to determine Net revenue or earnings by subtacting out expenses, before dividing by outstanding shares, then applying the multiplier. I don't know what kind of profit margins to expect, but would hope for 40% or more. That puts net at appx $.10/sh X the multiplier, which still isn't too shabby for a 3 to 4 year investment.
I really expect a reverse split sometime down the road to uplist to a new and better exchange. Then the big investors can really flock to this company. Or, a buyout from one of the biggies, which would give a windfall to all shareholders.
Hopefully we close the gap today and then we can move slowly back up over the coming days.
Looks like it's being moved down now and will close the gap. I would guess it will end up the day appx where it's been in the .170 to .180 area.
Senderos, it looks like the answer may be in a range described under cancellation charges further down in the article:
"Most hospitals and imaging centers have no cost for cancellations received 24 hours prior to the appointment. If you cancel the procedure within 24 hours you can expect a charge ranging from $100 to $750. These cost/charges are associated with the missed appointment as well as the tracer solution which is used in the PET scan procedure."
With POSC's integrated system, the cancellation fees w/in 24 hrs of a procedure would be eliminated, except for the missed appointment charge. It looks like that cost could be appx $650?? (assume $100 appt charge deducted from the $750 total charge?). If that's true, and you eventually get 100% of the market 100K heart procedures/yr (looong range!), that's $65M in revenues/yr. And that's before the hefty growth predicted in cardiac pet scans, plus all the other radio pharm produced, as well as any other applications POSC moves into.
I obviously understand this is all pie in the sky presently, just trying to get a feel for the long-term profitability of this part of the business.
As per the link you sent janetjackson,
Strontium-82 is used in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) to help diagnose heart disease. Hospitals nationwide diagnose about 400 patients every day using PET. By staying in production, we produced a five-to-six-week supply, enough to support more than 10,000 patients.
That means currently in the US alone, SR-82 is needed for appx 100K cardiac procedures each year. If someone knows the cost per procedure for SR-82, the total revenues could be figured out. I wonder what kind of profit margin they will have once all production is full speed ahead? 40%? 50% ????
It would be nice to have a big week or 2! I hope it happens-- I loaded up last week on all I plan to get for a while. I'm still in this for the long haul primarily, but short term victories would be welcome. The ducks seem to be lining up for a move up.
That close was great! Good things coming in the future, hopefully short and long term, IMO! Everyone have a great weekend.
bharvey, for too many "investors," the definition of "pos" when used to describe a company, is based on personally being sucked into or diving into purchase of shares based on information that the pps will rapidly rocket upward, the result being the "investor" is underwater or loses their shirt. There is little consideration re. the business enterprise and what it will become months or years down the road. These "investors" would consider posc a "pos." I say it's a "gem." Just wait...IMO.
Big buys going thru and she's moving up.
You stated "I got burned on this when BioMed Reports was working "with" Rooney." Is it time to reassess your views of being a "really good trader" and "Ace BS bloodhound?" ;)
Most of us got in to POSC at a price higher than the current pps, but many, self included, haven't been burned since we're in it for the looooong haul. Rather, I'm just averaging down so that IMO, I'm in a good position for when this all comes together-probably years and not months from now. And if it doesn't come together, then I took a calculated risk based on what I know, and bear full responsibility for my failure. I hope you have good success from here on out and make some good money on POSC!
Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
January 9, 2012, the Registrant conveyed its WayCool and WayFast patent portfolio to Olantra Fund X LLC for a cash payment of $500,000.
Way Cool is way gone! :)
Yeah Rondog, if events don't happen immediately when they're supposed to, some folks start the negative talk and casting everything into question about this (or any) company. Some people have an agenda to drive pps down, others have a vendetta against a company, etc, etc. For true longs: patience, patience everyone...Rooney is delivering-it's just taking time. TY to James for checking and reporting the facts.
