That buy was mine to avg. down to approx .02.
I sat on the bid at .01 most of the day and moved it up to .0105 towards the end, and decided to get'm at .012 in case news came tonight/morning.
well we'll see what happens.
With this low float, product on the market, new energy saving light heads and 4mm coming for expansion you would think this is a no brainer.
The 45 day expected time frame for financing is not set in stone so if it is missed I hope people don't panic and run for the hills.
The share price at the beginning of Aug. was around .05 does anyone know why it dropped. TIA
GLTA, duke
there's a guy on yahoo say's he has to dump 500,000 shares due to IRS reasons.
I just called the TA and no change in shares.

Need it on Oprah to get Palin's attention.
Let's all put in a request to Oprah to get "Girlfriend" star Evan Sneider on her show!!!
Oprah could make "Girlfriend" a Hit all by Herself.

My mistake, sorry, I meant "Lord of the Flies" I never saw lord of the rings.
Thanks for catching that!!!
Well I don't think there are too many of us having a whole lot of fun lately, except a few of our new/disgruntled posters that are enjoying their view of TDGI at the moment. But as the saying goes "The Worm is going to turn".
We've suffered some Box office failures lately, which Eric nor anyone else denies, but some seem to think that is the end of the story for those releases, which IMO only delays their success as aftermarket sales will be fruitful.. .
"Twelve" will have international attraction with Chace and 50cent as the world's kids get their fads from American youth and love the teenage wildness! Foreign teenagers won't be influenced by stuffy American Critics.
I'm Banking on "Racing Dreams" at least getting Nominated for an Academy Award, if not winning, this will certainly bring in the Receits.
"The Wild Hunt" could go either way, sounds like it could be one of those that take-off as a must see or just make it's money back.
Thanks to Emeralcityking09's review and the reference to "Lord of the Rings", (which I saw years ago and was a large hit as I remember) and his view that it may attract outside of the LARP community we could get lucky and have a Cult Hit on our hands. If "Blair Witch" made all that money I wouldn't count WH out.
Let's not forget TDGI's Growth this last YTD.
No Dilution policy.
The shares Eric and Fred hold.
The audit will show TDGI's true positive value. IMO
To make a longer story shorter I'm not going to let the dailies;) or the naysayers get to me and miss this potential Life Changer.
I guess it all goes back to do you Trust Eric's past history in the Business or are you going to let some delays clog the vision you had when you bought in.

Like I said, it’s kind of funny how he launched the project because he believed he had the right to make it but now acknowledges that he has to have Pacifor’s participation. It’s enough to make me wonder fi the whole thing wasn’t planned so that he’d be able to build up some buzz around the project that might sway Pacificor.
Anyway, I’m with Parkinson on one thing: I think it’s a good idea, too. I’d rather see a really great, anime type 3D “Terminator” than another deadly dull, oh so serious live action one.

I agree, the article says's he lied about owning these films rights not that the films are bogus or Phoenix films is bogus. This Tony guy is guilty of impersonation. There is nothing against Phoenix. IMO

Police in Manhattan Beach have arrested a man they say lied about having ownership rights to several independent movies in order to scam $20,000 from an investor -- and there may be more victims out there in Hollywood.
Jose "Tony" Perez was arrested May 5 at his Hermosa Beach home, according to a Wednesday press release from the Mahnatten Beach Police Department. He's since bonded out.
Charges included theft by false pretenses and grand theft.

Edgy, entertaining and engaging, from beginning to end. Tarantino comes to mind., 16 April 2010
Author: (xavier-haurie) from London, United Kingdom
Forget that this is a "cinematographic debut", forget that it's an "indie film". This movie needs neither apologetic introduction nor patronizing kudos.
Most aspects of the film are mastered better than in the majority of mainstream movies, so your eyes, your mind or your heart will find something to latch on from beginning to end.
Plot has multiple layers, some easily read and others complex. You can enjoy the film at any level.
Cinematography is solid in a Hollywood-action-movie sort of sense. But also gives you some meaningful "artsy" shots which convincingly express the turning points in the plot and in the characters' evolution. They set the mood without being overbearing -- like the "right" frame around a masterly painting.
Characters find their depth in the way that each attempts to enjoy, survive, or in some cases take advantage of, the co-existence of inevitably real motivations with the seductiveness of acting, improvisation, role-playing, fantasy...
Music obviously helps set the mood and tell the story; but it acts more as a commentary -- as a minstrel would do. In fact I found that the movie has its own carefully crafted rhythm.
Costumes and props are top-notch -- forget that it was a low-budget movie. It looked better than most $100M CGI stuff.
Dialogs sound "true" from beginning to end.
Go see this movie like you would go see any other movie. Enjoy.

Absolutely excellent, 13 April 2010

OK, there is a little bit of violence, and OK, it may need some serious thinking to understand what is happening. BUT this must easily be the best thought-of plot, the most realistic romantic story, and a great description of human nature with an unbelievable ending.
There was comedy, a build up of emotions, acting to be proud of and an explosion of emotion through out the movie. Definitely not for the faint of heart, or those looking to waste a couple of hours of their lives. But more for those looking to see our own humanity, what love would do to us, the abyss of desperation and the true meaning of chivalry.

One of the year's best films, 29 March 2010
Author: kino_vamp from Canada
I had the chance to see The Wild Hunt at TIFF in 2009. It was no surprise to later hear it had won the Best Canadian First Feature Film prize- it was one of the best and most surprising films I saw at the festival.
The Wild Hunt's premise is a young man naively entering a live-action role play (LARP) weekend in pursuit of his wayward girlfriend. There's some initial comedy in the fish-out-of-water concept, but real-life LARP aficionados needn't fear ridicule; the comedy is in the clash, not at the expense of players. The film in many ways actually celebrates this type of gaming and in more than a few instances defends it from common taunts.
From a simple beginning the story grows to a climax of epic proportions, bringing to mind Shakespearean levels of drama and tragedy. The Wild Hunt is an intelligent and impassioned exploration of fantasy and escapism, desire and obsession. Yet through all of this the film remains grounded in it's characters. One of the great strengths of the film is the realism and complexity at the heart of each role. You won't find any one-dimensional characters here. Instead we have very real people struggling with an escalating series of events, and the games quickly lose their innocence as people lose control.
The Wild Hunt is a truly remarkable film. The exploration of a blurring line between fantasy and reality is chilling, the performances are excellent, and from a technical standpoint it's equally well done. This is a film that will stay with you long after you leave the theatre- not only is it engaging to watch, but it leaves you with much to contemplate.

The nature of the beast, 27 June 2010
Author: pyrocitor from Ontario, Canada
*** This review may contain spoilers ***
As most Canadian film is recognized as either unduly reflective and sombre or irreverently goofy, it comes as a breath of fresh air to find an offering of local cinema which achieves a tone dabbling in both without overdosing on either. In fact, director Alexandre Franchi's film delights in misleading its audience, opening with a terse, exhilarating Nordic battle only to have it interrupted by a participant whining "Okay, are we done now?", thus exposing the film to be set in the world of LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) - fantasy nerds dressing up in Medieval attire and enacting staged combat.
But Franchi's trickery does not stop there, leading with comedic sequences detailing hapless but charming Erik (Ricky Mabe)'s bemused quest to reclaim his fled girlfriend (Kaniehtio Horn, both wryly funny and tragically sombre) from the ranks of the costumed performers, led by Erik's gregarious brother Bjorn (hilarious, show stealing Mark Antony Krupa), only to undercut the seeming frivolity with continual flashes to mystical divine rites and an eerie continuous Norse musical drone, suggesting all is far from fine and dandy.
Naturally, things take a turn for the worse in a plot twist reminiscent of Lord of the Flies, but the real surprise is how deeply chilling the film becomes and how quickly, exploring the feral violence allegedly at the core of each person and the worrisome disconnect between fantasy and reality in an isolated microcosm of chaos. Nonetheless, Franchi's film remains ultimately just as fun a watch as an intense, thought- provoking one, neatly intertwining the two excesses of his national cinema into one highly compelling blend.

What darkness in the forest creeps, out amongst the accountants dressed like orcs, 12 May 2010
Author: thesubstream from Canada
Larpers (more properly L.A.R.P.ers, i.e. Live-Action Role Players, i.e. folks that dress up like goblins and wizards and engage in foam-sword combat in the woods) have been one side of a cinematic love affair, of late. Documentaries like Darkon and Monster Camp try and peel back the fake fur and face paint to see the real people beneath, while comedies like Role Models see in the admittedly nerdy hobby a wellspring of both laughs and weirdly noble self-realization.
In director Alexandre Franchi's debut film The Wild Hunt, larping is something altogether more serious, and much more sinister. Erik Magnusson (Ricky Mabe), a Canadian born to an Icelandic father whom he now reluctantly cares for, is bothered by repeated dreams of a banging door and the sound of his girlfriend Evelyn (Tiio Horn) crying out in fear. Evelyn has left him for the weekend, to role play a princess in Erik's older brother Bjorn's larp-group, a viking and troll setting Bjorn (Mark A. Krupa) has all but disappeared into. To win her back, Erik must navigate the confusing, threatening larp world, where he discovers that some of the players aren't just escaping workaday responsibilities but are instead building a framework to work out some of their darker, more violent fantasies.
It's an enjoyable film, troubled by a difficult script. On the one hand it's enjoyably novel: setting a murder-and-revenge story amongst the assumedly meek, awkward foam-sword and teva-sandals crowd is an entertaining twist, and Franchi, helped enormously by good Gothic set dec and often beautiful cinematography by Claudine Sauvé is able to wring surprisingly high drama out of the whole thing. On the other hand, in building up to the grand guignol finale the film strains and struggles, testing credulity both in terms of character motivation and in terms of basic emotional mathematics: it's hard at points to understand why Erik doesn't just dismiss the whole mess and go home. That said, there's rather more of the former dark beauty than the latter character weirdness, and the film (especially as a Canadian film artifact) is massively enjoyable on its merits, of which there are plenty. Missteps along a very original path are easily excused.

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/24/10 -- Best-selling author Barr McClellan wants economists, politicians and business leaders to change their thinking and stop promoting the foreign outsourcing of American jobs. The economic theory that displaced American workers will find better paying service-oriented jobs after U.S.-based factories are closed has not proven true, and is clearly documented in McClellan's new book, "Made in the USA," from Hannover House, the book publishing division of Target Development Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TDGI).
"Made in the USA" presents a common sense solution for America's jobless problem, the economy and the country's growing trade deficit. McClellan's challenge to consumers is to buy USA-made products, and encourage retailers to support "Made in the USA" items.
McClellan has issued a debate challenge to economists and academics to defend the results of the past 25 years of outsourcing philosophy against the real life conditions in America's communities that have suffered under this failed theory. McClellan is also challenging the major cable news networks to host an economic debate and draw attention to this philosophical battle that has cost millions of American jobs.
"I've heard that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results," said Hannover House President Fred Shefte. "Only major corporations benefit from foreign outsourcing of jobs, so it's surprising to see that many economists ignore the local impact and the ripple effect on the American economy. Sending jobs overseas undermines our communities, our national sovereignty and our position as a world power. It's amazing to me that some in academia ignore the obvious," he concluded.
Barr McClellan is an independent businessman, an entrepreneur and an attorney. His 2004 release of "Blood, Money & Power: How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K." (Hannover House) went to the number one best-seller's position on Amazon.com. In issuing his debate challenge, McClellan released the following statement:
Improve the Economy and Provide Jobs
For twenty years now, America has endured academic theories that companies going overseas are good for employees and that deficits are the way to boost the economy. The past two down years show, once again, that these theories do not work. Huge sums of money have been given to stimulate the economy. The economy remains flat. By any measure of rational thinking, when what you are doing is proven again and again not to work, try something else. The time is now to get rid of ill-conceived policies and try what works.
In a recent interview, the benefit of supporting America by doing business with American companies was emphasized. Buy America has been a grass roots movement ever since textile companies started going overseas in the 1950s. Since 1990, the loss has only worsened. Manufacturing companies abandoned America, leaving local communities devastated and workers without jobs. "Made in the USA," my book on Americans and how we exported our future, calls for buying American goods and services.
Over the past month, interviews across the United States have shown a major interest in buying here. The questions have been what to buy and where to buy it. The answers are to shop in local communities, statewide, nationally and on the Net. The products are there. To get the economy going, we have to take the initiative and buy American. The powerful consumer economy needs a jump-start. Buying here will do the job, and provide jobs. There is a bonus. By getting America back on its feet and back to work, we also help the global economy.
The academic economists continue to praise trade deficits, to reject any idea of buying in America, and to accept job losses as creative destruction, not personal losses to workers, their families and their homes. St. Lawrence economist Steve Horowitz expressed these views as the follow-up guest to my recent interview on the Fox Business Channel. Horowitz had his facts all wrong, saying among other erroneous points, that there are no telephone operators left in America. Typical of academics who have never had to meet a payroll, he is remarkably uniformed about what is happening in the economy.
In fact, Americans lost almost one trillion dollars to foreign interests in the year before the current downturn. In other words, the trade deficit was a major cause of the current recession. The job loss has been horrendous, but Washington has done nothing that works. Horowitz says job losses are technical corrections. Take a look at the economy. There has been a huge loss to workers and their families. Along with Horowitz, Washington accepts this tragedy as necessary and okay.
After two years now, the economy needs correction more than ever. Trade deficits must be eliminated with balanced trade. We cannot afford another downturn. The trade deficit now approaches $600 billion, almost the same level we had just before the last one. We need open trade where other nations disclose their regulations for trade and eliminate their corruption by exposing their practices. We need a level playing field where we restrict trade with those nations restricting us or we lower the burden on American enterprise and compete directly with those nations. We need parity on the terms of trade. With full disclosure and fair competition, we get the business.
Washington also needs to support American enterprise. Instead, Washington proposes still more costs and regulations. Business cannot compete at a loss. Business cannot move forward under the threat of still more government burdens. Business will not invest in new initiatives when Washington is clearly anti-business.
Horowitz defends government at a time government has to be pulling back and helping business build the economy. He says keep things the way they are.
During the unending politics, too often behind closed doors, the economy goes nowhere, jobs are lost and families bear the burden. To bring these key economic issues to the public and to show the fallacies of continued government intervention, we have challenged Horowitz to a public debate. We have suggested this debate occur at the GOP Club on 53rd Street between Park and Lexington in New York City, on Friday, August 27 at 7pm. As of the press time for this release, Mr. Horowitz has not yet replied.
If Horowitz accepts this challenge, we see the debate as taking about forty minutes, with equal time for each speaker. Questions from the audience will be welcomed.
The heart of the problem remains. Government has failed to work with the economy -- with business enterprise -- to get it to work. Change is obviously needed. Washington needs to try something else but remains stuck in the muck. Free the American free enterprise system, eliminate the trade deficit by demanding open trade with our trading partners, insist on a level playing field and stand back. The world's hardest working, most productive, most competitive and most generous people will get the economy going.
Most important, freeing the economy means jobs, lots of jobs.
The American spirit will end the current malaise and do the job.

Barr McClellan Fox interview Aug. 20TH.

Good Morning TDGI, I feel like a good week is coming for TDGI.....
starting today.......
Engineer, That looks close enough to me, I get in Bed with that!
pun intended, hehehaaa
Maybe I'm all screwed-up but I thought Avatar, those Twilight, and Disney fantasies use all or some of that 3D cgi stuff.
When you get my age it all looks the same.LOL
Well maybe Eric's meeting will go over big and some deep pocket's will want to jump on board. and then again it may not.
Who knows, but all we can do now is hope for the green light...
I don't understand why the blogs think that t3000 wouldn't do good.
How many 100's and 100's of millions of tickets have been sold in that film technology, and most all of them are pg-13.
Granted the t-trekkies think it's breaking the unwritten law that t-movies have to be the same story told in a different ways in the same format.........
Well I think the 30-40yr old kids will get over it.
Besides it's being made for a new generation and pg-13, I think it's time (as James Cameron said, the new tech is soon to be common place) to turn the page.
It's worked for all the monster, fantasy, myth and space movies, why not terminator???
IMO
It's just a micro shot of Capitalism at it's finest in a world where money has replaced character!!!
Re-post of #.42595 by 60cent, Nice Post deserves being brought back.
Read this.
Lionsgate Entertainment was founded in 1995.
Its first major box office success was American Psycho in 2000.
Hmmmm – so they had to wait FIVE YEARS for their first box office success….their first theatrical releases were flops…clearly not a good company….I would have sold all my shares there and then…t.oh, but wait!!.........
Lionsgate is now considered the most commercially successful independent film and television distribution company in North America!!
What??
And their most recent release was The Expendables which has just shot to the top of the US Box Office!
Well! who’d have thunk it!?
Maybe we should give Hannover a break and be realistic about how this business operates. Even huge budget movies with gazillions spent on advertising frequently flop. Eric is walking the line between risk and reward. Only a matter of time before our first big hit – meantime we have the core business as a safety net for the PPS.
-60cent
Yes the release date was pulled, not the Movie as your post sounded or implied. Thank You
Do you have a link or PR that states HTYMP was pulled before 12 came out.
HTYMP release date was revised to allow time for money to flow in from 12.
I'm sure Eric knows what's in the contracts that he signs.
I would imagine Eric was planning on using money from 12's release to fulfill those obligations. I think Eric committed on this strategy in one of his communications.
As 12 did not meet expectations HTYMP was not viable.
Simple and smart management decision.
---------------------------------------------
your post;
Yeah, that's a good story, but unfortunately HTYMP was pulled before 12 even came out. Also, HTYMP didn't just drop the $5MM P&A bomb on HH, as is stated in your post that was in the contract and HH doesn't have the $5MM! So he made a deal with HTYMP to release their movie with a $5MM P&A budget yet didn't have $5MM! Sounds similiar to announcing you're going to be making a Terminator movie yet you don't have the permission of the rights holder.IMO
If Eric was trying to deceive us;
Why would he reduce the A/S?
Why hasn't he gone for paid promoters?
Why hasn't he diluted the shares?
The only promotion that TDGI has received is from none paid promoters that see the value of TDGI as some of us see.
Why would he not do the above if this was a money scam?
IF HTYMP was pumped with 40mm it might make 40mm, the point is TDGI is not in the position to put that much into it.
