Do you have a link or PR that states HTYMP was pulled before 12 came out.

HTYMP release date was revised to allow time for money to flow in from 12.

I'm sure Eric knows what's in the contracts that he signs.

I would imagine Eric was planning on using money from 12's release to fulfill those obligations. I think Eric committed on this strategy in one of his communications.

As 12 did not meet expectations HTYMP was not viable.

Simple and smart management decision.

Yeah, that's a good story, but unfortunately HTYMP was pulled before 12 even came out. Also, HTYMP didn't just drop the $5MM P&A bomb on HH, as is stated in your post that was in the contract and HH doesn't have the $5MM! So he made a deal with HTYMP to release their movie with a $5MM P&A budget yet didn't have $5MM! Sounds similiar to announcing you're going to be making a Terminator movie yet you don't have the permission of the rights holder.IMO
