$MNGA - This is good news.
They are really getting to the point though that they need to tie some sales dollars to these PR's. If this PR had additionally stated that they signed some contracts to be the sole supplier to company A or company B, or that a contract was signed for $5M in sales, etc...that is the PR that will move us from this sub-$1 PPS.
Still holding my $1.49 average, so I'm really, really, really ready for this stock to rebound.
Good call on the end of day sell off. I'm not sure if it was to what you meant by big time, but in the last 45 minutes the DOW gave back ~50% from the high of the day, and the S&P gave back ~33%.
One of these days our TVIX and BAA is going to pay off!!!
I agree. This can't continue to go up like this. I'm still holding my TVIX and would add more if I had the funds available. Something has to give here soon.
That is interesting. I always thought if you hit the ask, then it constituted as a buy?
Did you buy at the ask, or did someone sell to you at a limit? I assume someone sold to you at a limit if you only had a partial fill.
$MNGA has been trading on very low volume since Oct 29th. Less than half of its 3 month daily average. While I'm not excited we closed at .84 yesterday, I'm not panicked either.
Still got mine!!!
Gold pushing $1200. Japan falls into recession upon new GDP news. Nikkei down almost 500 points, Hang Seng looking like it wants to follow suit. Guess we'll see how the Europe and US markets react in a few hours.
Yeah, it has been taken down on pretty low volume too. Just not used to going this long without news from them.
MNGA is getting killed with no recent news. Time for an update on something.
I'm still in too buddy. Just being patient with it. My mom continues to tell me that patience is a virtue. Luckily, I've found that with my investments...just not quite with my kids yet...LOL
Looks like we are getting that fill!!!
I think BAA staying below .20 til EOY is unrealistic Tech. I posted earlier that I think this week alone we're likely to see .20 just on technicals. The 8x34 chart is primed, and I know a lot of people who would load up and take that 10-15% in a matter of a couple days. The real question will be does .20 hold?
Furthermore, before the EOY we expect to hear news regarding the financing deal for Namoya...and maybe even another PR on Twangiza stating the $41M is in the bank. I caught this in todays PR:
"In November 2014, the Company announced the signing of the definitive agreement with respect to the $41 million Twangiza Mine gold sale transaction. This transaction is expected to close shortly."
We've seen what these PR's have done recently!!!
The one thing that I think could keep BAA low (with exception of some sort of bad news) is a big drop in gold. However, given the newly released all-in costs for BAA, I'd almost welcome a drop in gold prices to say $1000/oz. I think that would attract more investors, but it might also "trim the fat" as other miners would likely be seizing operations or going under.
I too am hopeful to accumulate more and more cheap shares...I just don't know how many more there will be to be had below .20.
BAA - I agree. Baby steps are good here, and hopefully we'll continue this trend of setting higher highs and higher lows. I'm planning on holding a long time, so any amount up is good for me.
I'm still amazed that we are trading sub-.20's, and unfortunately, we might be held back a little bit by day-traders and/or short-term trader in the upcoming days. The 8x34 chart is set up beautifully, the PSAR just flipped, and the RSI has room to climb before being overbought. So I would expect anyone playing technicals to jump in (if not already) and then try to sell at .20 or so. My belief is that we'll see .20 in the next day or two...I'm just not sure we'll be at or above it by the end of this week.
By star, do you mean that's the star at the top of our Christmas tree?
Yeah, absolutely amazing that they are going to close it up, and TVIX as a result will be a little down. Unbelievable really...
$7 would be kick a$$!!! This was due to turn. I just wish I would've had enough free to add more at these low prices.
It was only a matter of time. Good move!
Yeah, this is way undervalued. I almost sold some of my TVIX this morning at a loss, just to buy more BAA sub-.20's.
Still can't believe how this market has held this week. Well, time to see what unfolds over the weekend I guess. Have a good one!
Amazing is right...I can't believe these markets can sustain like this...I realize that these are the huge gain days of last week, but still. There has to be a red day coming sooner or later.
I see this upward movement is about to run out of time. LOL I'll take it!
Added some more TVIX this morning PM at $2.75. There has got to be a big red day coming sometime soon.
Hey bud, I'll be watching for this dip and will be watching for your posts. Had I listened to you yesterday, I would've made some coin and now been positioned in the 2.70's or 2.80's. This time around I plan on listening to you! LOL
I don't think BAA is done. Looks to me like someone tried dropping the price right at the last second from .16 to a close of .152. Nasdaq shows the close at .16 though. It doesn't really surprise me that it didn't close at the HOD, and that's just because todays news really wasn't news at all imo. Today's release was just confirmation of what was already coming. Again, to me, it looks like today's close was an intentional drop.
Good move! I probably should've taken my nickel and then bought back in like you. Hopefully by the time all is said and done though, I won't be worried about a $2.99 average!!! The markets have to correct here sooner or later.
I'm just holding my TVIX right now. My average is $2.99, so I'm comfortable waiting this out for now. I'm hoping we'll get another run up in that $5+ range. That would make me a very happy camper.
TVIX and BAA are making me happy today!
BAA had expected good news this morning. Obviously investors are liking seeing the signed deal in place.
MNGA - Great article Newsguy!
Agreed, and that's part of the reason I have yet to add. Just being patient with it right now. I have an opportunity to wait for a confirmed reversal, and I'll still be able to average down if I choose to do so.
Holding my MNGA also...I just wish my average was as pretty as yours...LOL. Still have my $1.49 average. Was very tempted to add .90, but was also a little worried .90 might not hold. The reality of this is, that if the right news comes, my $1.49 position won't look all that bad.
MNGA - Hopefully Friday was the start of a reversal after the financing deal. While I wasn't too disappointed about the financing, I do wish they would've released another PR rather than sitting idle this long. Here is an article that caught my attention regarding climate change this weekend on AOL:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/02/un-climate-change-report_n_6089392.html
After reading that, all I can think about is MNGA and this:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/technology-reduces-coal-power-emissions-131500973.html
As you mentioned, this is just one of many catalysts they could throw at us. I've been patiently holding, and have been waiting for some action like Friday's to average down. I just wanted to make sure low .90's were going to hold so we weren't testing .80, or the 52-week low. Even with my current average, I'd be ecstatic with a $4 target.
TVIX - Ended up moving, and filling, my order at $2.80. Now for the waiting game over the weekend. I know the elections on Tuesday night have been mentioned as a reason for the dows incredible run. Does the dow go up on Monday and Tuesday? Or do we see some small gains or losses, followed by a downturn later in the week?
TVIX - So interesting to watch here. DOW at all new highs, yet TVIX won't even drop out of the $2.80's...I might have to raise my order from $2.70. I find this very interesting...some people (like us) clearly believe that what the dow is doing is too good to be true.
That was a great alert $oldier. I'm kicking myself for not jumping on board. I saw your post and did some quick DD and was looking at buying PM. I knew I could fill $2.60's, but in looking at the charts there was great support (but resistance on the bottom side) just below that level, and I chickened out, afraid it would fall below that support. I wouldn't have made 100%, but 33-50% would've been a sure thing...and I could have made it in a matter of 8 hours.
TVIX - What do you think the dow will do on Friday? I think I got too greedy today waiting for $2.80 (or lower) to hit. Amazing that TVIX is as strong as it is, with the markets rocking this week. Seeing some similarities this week compared to the week of 9/15 to 9/19, but I see no way TVIX hits $2.50 again unless the dow goes up and beyond new all time highs. Anyway, was just curious what you thought might be in store for tomorrow, especially pre-market and the opening couple of hours. Think we'll see a head-fake up, and then the dive in the dow? Planning on doubling my position sometime tomorrow.
