The ValiMed System offers clinicians a simple and cost-effective tool to ensure medication safety by verifying that medications are correctly compounded. Its patent-pending technology identifies the strength to validate compounded doses of high risk medications prior to dispensing. The ValiMed Device verifies medications in seconds, providing an added level of safety in the medication dispensing process. The system also assists with detection of narcotic loss and identification of counterfeit medications.
Scared,
I believe that after attending the SPIE show it was capnmike that posted that he had lunch with Henry Blair and that Blair should (or could) receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Something to that effect anyway.
Based on that I would say that SPIE was one of those "wow" moments for capnmike.
Looks like ole Blair fooled another one!!
The more people that claim to have been fooled by Blair the more improbable it becomes that Blair was such a master trickster.
Crow,
"Though based on the same GENERAL simple principle..well known and NOT revolutionary.. Comparison of VALIMED to ELF/VAMMP..
there are many differences.. distance of detection claimed, difference of environment (totally enclosed, (VALIMED) vs out in the open (explosives detection).. different stimulation (UV VALIMED, Secret X-ray wavelength, Explosives detection).., etc."
I know the "etc." part means there's additional differences, but I want to spell one out!
Don't forget that Valimed analysis bulk samples, while ELF/EM-1 was advertised to detect trace chemicals down to PPB.
Ra, Capnmike (edited) sounds exactly like ontheedge with that line! Obviously he has more to gain than you from such a meeting.
Sanddollar,
"Odd, diddy, that you mention wade's singular post. I was thinking about that the other day. Did you know he "confided" in another poster at the time of it?"
Yes I do.
Actually Sand, the only thing we know is that someone posting under the alias "wpoteet" was very convincing that he was indeed Wade Poteet.
The same is true of Malcolm Philips allegedly posting under the alias "p4316".
If the above posters are who we all believe they are, they've given enough information for shareholders to sue Boone and Baker for fraud IMO. That will be enough get all the rest of the crooks running.
What's necessary is a court order to postively identify the two aliases.
"I don't believe I mentioned ELF at all."
No you didn't, I did. Then you started insinuating that I have a problem with the Valimed unit saving hundreds of lives. I obviously do not and I wasn't talking about Valimed, I was talking about the XRF explosive detection scam known as ELF/EM-1.
Get your threads together.
INET,
Get your products straight.
The Valimed is a UVF instrument that detects bulk chemicals at under an inch in about thirty seconds. The unit operates under pristine laboratory conditions.
Valimed is an entirely different animal compared to the bill of goods investors were sold with the ELF/EM-1.
Apples and oranges.
The ELF/EM-1 would have been "selling like hotcakes" if it could have performed as advertised in Loch Harris PR's.
I am not impressed with the technology behind the Valimed. What CDEx has done is produce a application specific product for a very focused, niche market. Understandably, many end users in hospitals are just tickled to death that a company designed a spectrometer especially for them.
How big is that market and will it act like a stepping stone for future products in the medical industry? We will see. It would appear as if the "big investors" aren't quite sure yet either.
Now if Loch/CDEx had a explosive detector like the one touted by p4316 and the Boyz that would be a different story, but they do not and never did according to wpoteet's confessions in his one and only RB post.
A XRF device which could detect trace explosives (PPB) at a stand-off distance of 2 meters in near real time was a pipe dream. The scamsters made a fortune off of that claim and shareholders would have too if it had been true.
Intersting how the PTO asked CDEx to clarify the stand-off distance. I find it interesting because I believe that there were other claims made which are already in the public domain that were obviously going to be rejected. For example, a stand alone claim of a portable XRF unit already exists. Interesting that that PTO ignored that and wanted CDEX to give a more specific answer on the stand-off distance.
I could be reading it wrong but I don't think so. Maybe some of those 3-letter agencies that Edge seems to think gave CDEx their blessings are doing more than just quietly lurking as some seem to think.
Hey Edge, it would appear that a review of your beliefs is in order because the "big investors" have apparently spoken.
"It is my belief that after the Vegas show, the word on the street will be so strong, that our share price will move right on up. Many big investors will have some counter who can take the number of H's and P's, and make some sort of determination as to where this stock could go, and the buying will begin.
I am not sure what revenue figure you think you need to see, but my belief is, long before your number is reached, this stock may very well be at a price you find yourself saying, gosh, can it still go up from here?"
Gosh! Whata ya suppose happen?
Well Crow,
I'll venture to say that the Valimed unit is an ensemble of COTS sub-systems, a spectrometer module, a single board computer, power supply and so forth. Much like the architecture of a standard PC.
I believe that they are manufacturing very few if any components at the board level or building the opto-electronics from scratch.
I view it as a standard UVF spectrometer which has been customized with application specific software.
I have yet to read an explanantion about what makes the tech revolutionary. I see a customized off-the-shelf gadget for a niche market that has a questionable profitability.
Where is the revolutionary trace explosive detector which operates at two meters in real time, there's where the pay dirt is and where the true scam lies.
RA,
"justaregularguy seems to be the only one who calls them on the BS they post. He gets all my respect!"
I agree. And if I remember correctly, Just was the first one to speak up against Tomscheboy's hyping posts back when it was a very unpopular thing to do. It took the rest of the groupies over a year to realize that he was dead right.
" wonder whatever happened to karlspanger and what'shisname -- I've forgotten it -- who entrusted capnmike with his "accidentally" received report so long ago (back in 2000 I think), the guy who talked a lot about taxicabs -- changing drivers or getting out of the cab altogether -- remember him? It was pretty clear karl saw the light before too much time went by, but have always wondered about the other guy -- wish I could remember his name."
That guy just so happens to be a CDEX PP investor.
I wonder if he bought the shares directly from MP?
A wonder how this CDEx PP investor learned about the TaiPower fiasco?
Serendipity mi culo.
Whoever believes that believes that Poteet was too busy in the lab to realize that innocent investors were being scammed out of their money!!!!
Does this kind of posting remind me of tommyboy? Yes it does.
A message from a bad actor? Here is a past capnmike update which was information known to many in the underground rumor mill for at least a week before it was finally published by capnmike who pretented as if it was a news flash.
Did capnmike already know about this information before he posted it as breaking news? I think so.
Is that why I believe he is an actor? Yes it is.
Who gave him the information? It is believed to be a person posting under the alias osscout who is currently a CDEX PP investor.
Note how Capnmike has a familiarity with the word "wow"!

WOW !! Loch’s ELF in Taiwan
I just received this email from another Loch investor that I have learned to trust and respect. I've choosen to edit out the organization name, individual names and titles. I received explicit permission to post and share this !!!!! So....Guess what?!? In my opinion, polite and professional behavior while performing research can PAY OFF !! Come on Loch Harris / Cdex – what gives?!?!?

Thank you for your email.
The Loch Harris equipment was not used in any aspect of the clearance.
completed the clearance of the area, removing all mines and bombs.
Loch Harris then used their ELF equipment as a QA measure which apparently recorded the presence of some explosive vapour.

Mike here again...
Some initial thoughts - all in my opinion
1) Material/significant news exists IMO!!
2) My guess on a scenario? -- It sounds very much like Loch succeeded in getting some kind of agreement or contract to do quality assurance scanning with a professional demining organization, and those professionals found and removed a bomb and perhaps other explosive ordinance. ELF might have come in afterward for the QA sweep, and JUST AS ADVERTISED -- ELF is able to detect the effluent molecules in the soil where the bomb and/or UXO had been removed.
Certainly, many detailed questions can be asked at this point.
Wow.
Geez Edge, over 40 posts to lmorovan repeating the same old nonsense. Why are you so threatened by him... or is it the truth?
Are you still working for Boone and Baker?
Everything you need to know about Ontheedge:
"Mercy ra, it is always about the money, always"
And we've seen first hand what you'll do for it.
If you're fortunate, maybe one day you'll learn what it's really all about.
"You are correct sir, but I sure was hoping lmorovan would catch it"
Sure you were Slick! LOL!!
Sassy,
I'm always happy!
Good Luck.
INET,
IMO, CDEx and it's staff probably sold off their Loch holdings at the time MP encouraged them to do so. It would have defeated the purpose to do anything else.
I just can't see them holding because the price wasn't right (if I'm reading you right), especially when MP stated that their Loch holdings were small in comparison to their new positions in CDEx.
BTW INET, I wasn't one of the posters who has a problem with MP selling some of his shares and I don't think anyone needs to provide an explanation for why he's doing so. It's not a significant event IMO.
Is the difference of 473,971 Class B shares?
Where is CDEx going to get another $1 million worth of Class A shares should Baxa decide to exercise their option?
Will CDEx sell them Class B shares as a good faith move?
Sell them shares already in the float? Maybe some LLC shares?
Authorize more treasury shares?
There's only so many options.
INET,
Are you going to the Vegas show?
INET,
Why do you keep posting that MP is getting rid of his LOCH shares? All LOCH shares were retired two years ago. Loch Harris was offically dissolved March 26, 2004.
MP has only CDEx shares. I can hardly believe that selling his CDEx shares will create any further separation between CDEx and LOCH.
That idea is old hat IMO.
"How can there be 33,500,000 authorized shares and 33,973,971 outstanding?"
As I remember, there was 200 million authorized shares which was reduced to 40 million after the R/S.
Viking, the MM's are looking out for numero uno. They make their living by taking your money.
Remember this article:
http://www.netbored.com/stock.htm
Didn't notice that Paige.
"have been looking at this... from a PP Shareholder that we brought up months ago..don't know if it is a fit...but it's always fun "trying" to stay close.."
What do you mean by 'fit', a potential Valimed end-user?
Paige,
Research teaching, pediatric hospitals such as the one at the University of Chicago.
Sassy,
Are you happy?
Paige,
Sounds like a good company, do you think there'll be a partnership or joint venture in the future?
You have a lot of digging to do! LOL
The Children's Hospital of Denver next??

Sand, BPRG at 7.00???
lmorovan, YHM. EOM
Scared,
Yes Sir, I learned that a lot of clients go to the salons for therapy.
Paige is a business person, a hairdresser, an entertainer AND a therapist!! LOL
OT: Paige.
"I guess you may have been to a few of those Hairdresser Parties or how about a convention or two?..."
Been to a few parties, never a convention or show for hair (although I hear they're packed with beautiful women). My experience comes from the local salon where I use to get my hair cut. The hairdressers and clients would talk about nothing but sex and relationships. I would just sit there, keep my mouth shut and hope they wouldn't ask me any questions.
As you know, you gals (and sailors) are in the entertainment business also! LOL
No, I wasn't in Vegas last year for a magic show and I won't be in Vegas this coming December for a vaction.
lmorovan,
"Spectroscopic technology" or spectroscopy is a general term and simply means it is a study of light spectra (or more correctly, the spectra of electromagnetic radiation).
UVF and XRF are both spectroscopic technologies in different regions of the spectrum.
Scratch that discrepancy off your list.
Inet, my reply to your post was public, I didn't send a private reply. What I think happens is if you don't read a direct reply to your post within a certain time, it will appear as an unread post in your mailbox.
Paige,
They're cracking down on hairdressers here in Southern Cal. Not only are they all 1099's, each has to have their own business license as well.
It's a tough business here, it's really getting over extended, way too many shops. Hairdressers are constantly losing clients that are moving out of the area.
With the exception of high end salons, manicure/pedicure prices have been driven down to 10.00 due to the competition.
It's an asset to be able to discuss world events with clients, but if all else fails sex and relationships will do just fine! LOL
The area where I work (ask Ontheedge- LOL) has quite a few manufacturers of cosmetic products that will private label your line. Do you have your own cosmetic line?
Paige,
When describing your business you speak of your customers as clients and your employees as independent contractors.
Sounds like you own a hair salon.
Inet, what are you talking about, I posted my response. Did you receive a private reply as well?
Demmo,
Could you please email me at diddy@lycos.com so I may obtain your email address.
Thank you.
d4diddy
That's a good question Inet, but nevertheless, Sandia's device worked as described. A National Laboratory does not fabricate data like Onetheedge and his emails.
Furthermore, Sandia never made the claims that Loch/CDEx has made about their explosive detection abilities. You can't hold Sandia accountable for something they never said that they could do.
Loch/CDEx DID make specific claims about their trace explosive detection ability and should be held accountable.
