IMO you did fine. Had you waited, sure it went lower, but the chance of it going much HIGHER was greater (again, IMO). I would have done as you did.
If you haven't read all of the past postings, at least read everything posted by stervc........and then you may wish you bought even more shares LOL.
How does the symbol for this company get changed? No moderator to ask.
Sheff, if you get a chance please look at what I posted on the NECX (symbol now VVITE) board. I bought some shares - did a quick read (no real DD) but was impressed by $555,030 byback of 5,550,300 shares at $.10 (I got mine at .06).
Guess I'll find out real quickly if I should have looked further or missed something important!!
Also symbol is VVITE, apparently delinquent on filings.
YIKES I almost created a new board for VVIT!! Good thing when I went to put in the website information, I noticed it was http://www.nathanielenergy.com/index.html and looked further!
Found VVIT because of the LARGE byback
http://www.pinksheets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=5921828
Bought a few shares.
I think I will watch for posts from you both (bman and moldme1). Very refreshing to see logical discussion, put forth after intelligent thought. Your input will help me decide to sell or keep.
Hope this is not OT.
Apparently used to trade as SSSU - I think that because when I follow the pinksheets web link I see that.
Went up today and NOBODY is posting on this board? Wow!!!
I can't read the page too well - probably because I don't have a RSS reader.
Someone suspected of trying to help kill a good run....
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=29182571
Because of this.......comments and chart
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=29178733
And someone else saying chart is WRONG!
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=29184339
And look....that person was banned from our board!
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/seebans.asp?board_id=11477
Yes, it is there but I would not have seen it without your board. Many of us have limited time to devote to stocks (working as I type LOL), that is why I am very grateful for all the information from folks like you.
In at .002, thanks Sheff. Mostly due to your DD, but when I saw that balamidas was a mod here, that cinched it, because he is a great mod on a board with a great stock (not sure if I am allowed to mention another stock symbol here, so I will say it is not red or green or yellow, not a garnet or a ruby, but it is an adventure without the ADvertisement LOL).
see post 16339
GOT MORE!!!! Since it closed at .005, I decided to put in orders for .006.....and they filled!!! Another 200K for me!! Maybe just a drop in the bucket compared to holdings of some of you folks, but it makes me happy!!! Just had to SHARE my joy (pun intended LOL).
Well said. I am not a professional trader and I don't know enough about stocks, but I have been around long enough to recognize integrity, honesty and decency - which are attributes I use to describe Sterling.
Chapter11, did you get my PM? Thanks.
Thank you. It just bothers me a lot that Sterling spends so much of his time here, and when he gets an opportunity to spend some time with his family (hope that is what he is doing) he will then come back to this. How will he feel....all the work he does for us.....and to see some of the stuff that was posted about him?
This is a guy who gave out his phone number! How many people would do that?
Thanks for listening!
I see you decided to bash Sterling with your tenth post at IHUB. Nice of you.
TO: Stervc, Balamidas, glasssoto, and stocksgonewild:
First, many thanks to Stervc for all of his due diligence, patience, and hard work.
Next, thanks to Balamidas, glasssoto, and stocksgonewild for your efforts as well.
A few comments / observations:
1. For many days, the stock price was VERY high compared to earlier last month. Everyone was happy (except for the share desiring bashers).
2. Today the price went way down (relatively - remember that it is still MUCH higher than it was last month). So what happens? We get 2 types of people:
3. Type 1 - those who see the lower price as an opportunity to pick up a few shares, and who keep the faith.
4. Type 2 - those who seem to go crazy and act like the world was ending.
5. I was happy to see that there were many people who continued to be supportive of BLDV and the moderators. But I was very sad to see the really mean and nasty posts from others.
6. No one forced me/us to buy this stock. I/we have a free will. My philosophy here is to be grateful for those who help me by providing information.
7. The worst that can happen is that the stock becomes worthless. Well, in that case I STILL am grateful for all of the work that was done here. There were many times that I could have sold for a profit - and I would not have had that opportunity without Stervc and you other moderators. (Of course, this stock is NOT going in the direction of worthless LOL).
8. In fact, when I look at my position, I don't see the red of today. I see the GREEN when I compare my cost to my current value. So I could sell tomorrow and make a profit. BUT I WON'T....and that is my decision.....and any gain or loss that I eventually experience is MY RESPONSIBILITY.
9. Having said all of that, I am CONVINCED that BLDV is STILL AN AWESOME COMPANY / STOCK!!! But that is rather beside the point that I want to make - which is let's appreciate those folks who have been helping us (and we can all tell the difference between "pumpers" and the mods on this board). We are in this together through the ups and the downs.
10. I am keeping my shares for awhile (yes, at some point I will sell them...and I don't plan to give any of my profit to anyone who has helped me here......so I feel it is fair to not give those same folks any GRIEF, either!!)
Look on the bright side. You are not down UNTIL YOU SELL. And I don't think you need to sell......I would bet (actually, with my shares I already did bet LOL) that in some period of time (hours? days? weeks?) you and the rest of us will be very happy!!!!
Kudos to you. I think this is an important find. I thought you would be posting something great, when I saw your initial post early this morning, which then disappeared, to be followed by your news. Your post this morning was even more exciting.
I am really confused now. When I read
NOTICE OF MAJORITY SHAREHOLDERS CONSENT
IN LIEU OF 2008 ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
May 9, 2008
at http://www.pinksheets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=5874181
I thought the "in lieu" meant there would not be a shareholders' meeting.
Thank you. I followed your instructions, and looked around. I guess I need to be familiar with the industry (which I am not) to understand the ramifications of this information - how it affects the company, stock price, etc.
I think that was a suggestion of a possible reverse merger candidate.....which would be very applicable here.
GREAT PIC! Looks like they are "sticking" it to the MMs LOL.
Did you read the replies.....especially the last one, that brags about shorting? I hope that person gets caught holding while the price goes up (so that I get rich LOL).
Yes I do - 500K shares. I was impressed by all that I read on this board about Scott Gallagher, so I bought back in mid March. The recent "bashing" activity did nothing to change my mind. I am glad I kept the faith.
RM candidate? I wonder if this could be a potential BLDV reverse merger candidate...following is from

NEWS!! FTS Group Retains International Consulting Firm to Complete Patent-Pending Cell Phone Translation Technology Utility Patent Application
OLDSMAR, FL--(Marketwire - May 6, 2008) - FTS Group, Inc. (OTCBB: FLIP), an acquisition and development Company generating positive cash-flow on over $7 Million in annual sales for 2007, today announced that it has retained the International consulting firm of Packer Engineering, Inc. to complete the engineering work and specifications needed for its patent-pending cell phone translation technology utility patent application.
FTS Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Scott Gallagher commented, "While it has taken us longer than we initially anticipated to get this project off the ground, we're very pleased that Packer Engineering, a firm with over 45 years of successful industry experience has decided to take on our project. Engaging the Packer team puts us back on track to complete and submit the utility patent application of our patent-pending cell phone translation technology to the United State Patent and Trademark office by mid summer." Gallagher continued, "Obviously the global market potential for a working cell phone translation technology is massive. We believe this is potentially a once in a lifetime opportunity for our Company and its stockholders if we can get the patent approved. Upon completion of the utility patent application filing this summer we'll begin the process of developing a working prototype. At this point we hope to have the prototype or some variation of a prototype working by the end of the year."

A good surprise would be nice! I will watch for details, if you decide to share them.
$1.25 GTC? WHY???????? Aren't you supposed to put the order at a HIGHER value than you expect the stock to reach? LOL....yes, trying to be funny, but when you think about it.....$1.25 may not be as far away as you might think......
Thanks! Back at you with a mark also.
Wow - same 2 I plan to keep....along with SRSR.
I noticed you are new to IHUB (so am I, relatively, less than a year) but you got off to a good start by finding Sheff's board. Others to note: Stervc is a gold mine of accurate information and extremely detailed DD. He is a stand up guy and I believe he is as honest as the day is long.
Take a look at Chapter11's board. He specializes in finding very low cost stocks which go up by 100 to 900 percent and more. Read his posts - especially those which talk about protecting his people from the MMs. He makes a lot of sense and has helped me make a few $$. I think he is a genius with this stuff, and a good person.
MOMO is a genius with charts.
There are many more - DFLY, Stockpicker, and others (apologies to those I can't remember [old and tired will do that LOL]).
Other stocks I like (but normal disclaimer, I am not an advisor, do your own DD LOL): EIGH (to this day I don't know why I am losing so much money on such a great stock), SIVC (awesome in my mind, with the reverse mergers and expected dividends [stock, I think] to shareholders),SRSR. I will not list the other 40 or so that were bad investments while I was learning LOL.
Best of luck to you - hope this helps - I have benefitted greatly from the people who helped me, and if I can do a little in return by pointing you in a good direction that is the least I can do.
Oh, many like ADCS also.
I own all 3. IMHO, BLDV is one of the most rock solid stocks I have ever seen. (SRSR is the other).
reverse MERGER not reverse SPLIT LOL!! There is a difference.
You joined on 4/30 and have 2 posts......yes, let's not listen to your doom and gloom.
Wow I am glad I am in this stock.
1. DFLY thinks enough of this stock to get his dad involved.
2. The other day Chapter11 referred to DFLY as a "big player of IHUB".
So IMHO, I am following an expert here.
Thanks for your advice. I just got rid of my GTC sell order at .03. When $$ permit, I think I may pick up a few more shares in the near future.
