Petty mentioned in the last PR that Dunn's July 2008 ananlysis would be available. Has anyone here been able to find it on the website. It so, please post. Also has anyone obtained info astowhen the processing will be fully or partiually available. The limited pilot plant and smelter seems inadequate to make any substantial inroads on the ore mined thus far.
Thanks for you thoughts on the project. My understanding is that this is an innovative process that Synfuels is trying to commercialize to produce gasoline. I hope that this small, rather poor area in Argentina may find some financial support from the Centreal government of maybe the World Bank as the concept seems exciting and a good way to stimulate the economy and jobs there. What do you make of the fact that the project managers and Execs visited the site recently? Appreciate your input.
Petty has indicated that the assay result has convinced him to significantly upgrade the production facilities at Escala. This may have a huge uposide surprise if they have the goods. As they get closer to full productiona and processing comes online, I think the stock this time will make a steady sustainable move up.
Thanks for the news find. I doubt the contract is still in effect since it is 1.5 years old amd was intended for the tailings operation. I wonder how plentiful the zinc is and what the profits are after the ore is processed. Since pennies are now zinc and this is a penny stock maybe we have a fit. The company can make pennies instead of selling shares out of treasury. Maybe a massive cookie jar is being erected now at the Escala to hold the coins. Good luck and my apologizes to those who abhor a sense of humor whomever you are.
Thats a lot of ifs for this to happen but i hope you are right. I thought synfuels was going to argentina to look at the gas fiels and meet with the government to agree to build the plant. JOvictoria has poinbted out that i am wrong.
Thanks for the info. I am disappointed that synfuels can not develop and build the plant. I now concur that this project has only an iffy chance of being successful since it requires too many things to happen to fall into place. Foreign government, no developer and a lack of money are stumbling blocks taht are probaly in surmountable. The company needs to concenbtrate on the mining business to be successful.
Good news. My question is : How much is the wholesale value of zinc from the reserves in Escala. Is it 5 million, 100 million, or somewhere in between. What is the cost of production to mine and process the ore. What % of the profits can the company get? It we get a good answer , an investor can knoew if a company with a 5 million market cap is undervalued. This stock seems too cheap to me to be missed by the investment community much longer.
I think you are right. Do you Think the Japanese don't want zinc from Escala? BTW you can never be too long.
About a year ago fmnj signed a major contract to sell zinc to the Japanese. I wonder if that contract is still in effect considering the passage of time. Also , I am curious if someone here can do the math as to what the proven reseves of zinc at Escala would be based on the new confirmed assay. I zinc we may be on our way. (apologies to my friend true for the poor pun)
Not sure I understand your response. Isn't synfuels the major engineering company that would build and supervise the project. Also, is it not true that this is a totally innovative process. Wouldn't it be smart to build a plant that has a limited capacity and if the procedure works, expand the operation with the cash flow? Can you comment on the technology since you obviosly are a major source of knowledge since you have been acyively involved in a similar venture.
Agree with your assessment. The company now has some new timelines which will ba important for sharehol;ders
Welcome to this board. You area breath of fresh air. I'm interested on your take on the Synfuels plant. My understanding is that they have an innovative process, developed with the University Of Texas, to convert natural gas to gasoline making it a,to coin a anagram, a GTG plant as opposed to the typical gtl plant which converts natural gas into a transportable liquid product. Obviouly such a plant would be a boon to South America where there is a shortage of diesel and gasoline. Is your estimate of a 500 mio cost based on knowledge of what the Synfuel plant will acyually cost. It seems that if it works, a big if, many would be interested in financing it ,including the government in Argentina. I believe that if a deal is signed it would generate worldwide press for Franklin as well as the Synfuels innovation.
I believe NITE trades electronically hence their orders tend to be more legitimate since there is a buyer or seller with actual size as opposed to the minimum shares they are required to post. Someone probaly believes that some good news is comong. Let's hope they are right.
A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. The podm acquisition was for a different company. Petty signed a deal to a representative of Capital Oil & gas Ltd. a London company. Capital oil and Gas Inc is a American company that runs Cherron Service stations. As for your comments on how long it takes to build a gtl facility, you again have no clear knowledge since the technology that Synfuels is using is a new and innovative process. Just trying to get the facts right misinfo mation.
The endless crying about dilution misses the point that this has become a growth company which now has financed operations at Escala, groudwork for a GTL project and a two mineral proceessing plants. If one focuses on market cap, it is easy to conclude that the price per share is grossly undervalued. Once the money flow starts from Escala when the plants go on line, the company can address the issue of outstanding shares. Management here realizes that the feared reverse split is usually a death knell for investors and may opt to go for a stock buyback or maybe an outright sale of the company or a partial break up some of its assets such as the gtl project in Bolivia. If you can't think outside the box, you will end up in one. Then again, eventually we all end up in a box so enjoy the ride.
So you sell on the news. Good luck. The best is yet to come. This seems to be a very viable undervalued company. MOney flow into the stock will tell the story as the day traders exit on upticks.
If you really believe this is the same as 4 years ago, you have not appreciated that the company is mining and now will expand the Escala. This may be a major find. Only time will tell. Sil's move continues to confirm that Bolivia is the place to be for silver
I zinc we are going to be in good shape woith this report. Major silver reserves may generate enogh cash flow to get the other projects under way. To see the actual results of the essay may prove very exciting.
Quietly Sil, a company like fmnj which has major interests in silver in Bolivia, has made an impressive move off a low and looks strong. In my opinion, a change in the dynamics of the companies in the mining industry bodes well for the tertiary mines. Likewise, the move in gspg, which has been sustained, shows that investors can move the microcaps into pennyland in a short perios of time. Like others here, I think that the company may be on the verge of a breakout based on fundamental results at Escala, West Texas wells, and eventually a gtl venture that may get exposure in major business papers. Good luck can't hurt either.
What do you think the company is about to announce.
plenty of inconsistncies in this service who looks to time a move to make a .0003 gain. Isued a buy at .0006 and a sell at .0009 and then a buy at .0011. This stock will sonn be moving in thousndths eg. .002 to .004 . Also it is very hard to trade when the gap of B/A can be high % of alleged profit. Looking for some real news to make this stock head to penny land. Like most here, I think and hope that we get some big news this week.
I wonder if there are any parties scheduled thid weekend in the LAnd Of Fire. Some nice interest in hitting the asked in the last hour. A harbinger of things to come maybe.
Sp50- Thanks for the update from HQs, Who did you speak with there and what number can investors call. I hope that the Dunn report will show confirmation of silver and gold reserves at Escala. The oil projct in West Texas would be a huge bonus coming out of the blue. Did they indicate what type of well will be drilled and how long to get a result. Stock can explode if any of the news is positive.
I agree that if the company announced a major gtl deal with Synfuels, Franklin and the people from The Land Of Fire, herinafter to be called the LOF, it will have an immediate positive effect on the stock. Considering the size of the Synfuels contingent it is not far fetched that some sort of a MOU or letter of intent can be reached this week. Meanwhile the company is getting closer to the completion of the processing plant at Escala. Finally, I agree that low volume moves are technically very significant. Some believe it signals that there is a big order to buy which will have to be accommodated at much higher prices.
Please forgive me if I use (misuse) your great line to B of S about" flatulating his sound and keen opinions." I bet it would sound even more mellifluos in Spanish. The Synfuels International methane cracking process seems very exciting and the Kuwaiti partner, who may soon own a 25% interest, may be interested in financing this first commercial working plant in Argentina. Such a deal would undoubtably generate worldwide publicity for the project and put a small pink sheet mining company on the radar screen. The investors here may soon be so rich they will flatulate in silk.
Petty and some execs from Synfuel will be touring the site Monday and the translation provided would indicate that the local Tierra del Fuego, The land of fire., government likes the promise of investment to help the economy providing jobs and a hope for the future in a poor province. It would be nice if the Synfuel people like what they see and give the go ahead to build the gtl plant.I wonder if they have any Coochie coochie girls to keep the Texans happy.
Senor Flush de Royal. Si possible translatar el articulo in los periodicos por los gente estupido tan para mi quien no compende espanol. Es muy impotante que el govierno creyo in el technologico de GTL. Dice hola a getehm tambien.
SHHHHHH.Stealth move coming I think. BTB was out at .0022.
I'm impressed by your acumen. Are you in or out or on the fence. Make the call Mr. Fineas T Bluster. Buy, Sell, or Hold. Need your advicxe to make a smart investment decision.
then it must be a good time to sell. :)
Your moniker is obviously a misnomer. At 4 am yesterday you were praising the big money and by days end you were out because of a down day on some profit taking. In my opinion the real way to breakthebank is to find a small unknown company that grows and develops into a behemoth. But most of all, nobody breaks the bank without a great deal of due diligence, some investment capital, and luck. If ANY of the projects this company is currently developing is successful, this company will trade at a much higher price given its miniscule current market cap. Good luck to you on your day trading. Suggest a name change to pumpanddump. Casinos make fortunes on system players. Bye, buy.
We can ride his pettycoat tails to the junction .
Not a bad day for the Truester. Up a quick 10 per cent. SELL.
Welcome back Kotter. Always liked his TV wife. Now Gabe spends his time on the world poker tour. Glad you weren't stubborn since there is a new investment thesis, as the finacial snobs like to say. Of course the four most dangerous words in investment are : This time its different. Maybe soon. We shall soon see. 50 days till thye startup of operations at La Paz.
Go to the website and take a look at their operation. Why would they mention fmnj. This is a private company that is working on a new tedchnology with a Texas University. It looks very doable and maybe the Univ. may even help with the funding since this would show the technolgy works in the real world. I have a feeling that the trip to Argentina will be very important. Obviouly the environmental concerns will not be as much of a stumbling block as it is here in the US where we can't get any much needed refineries built. This is exciting news that is being overlooked because it is at this time conditional. Sorry we lost True. i Hope he decides to get back in for the ride. I am very optimistic.
Smart play. After the day traders are out, I expect that the fudamentals will take hold and the steady rise will resume. Very healthy movement in the stock as it digests the news. In a better market, stock would be over a penny just on the news to date. Price looks very reasonable here.
Very interesting news release. Here is my take. If you go on the Synfuels website you will see a nice photo of its pilot plant that takes natural gas and converts it to 95 octane gasoline. I just paid $4.65 a gallon for this type of gas here in NY. Apparently, the Synfuels people will visit Argentina with Petty and after examining the natural gas site, they will try to conclude a deal with the Argentinians to build it. My guess is that Franklin and Synfuels will be joint partners making the cost to build, since Synfuels is the manufacturer, reasonable. The numbers here, if they can pull this deal off, is extraordinary. Examination of the photo reveals that it seems like a simple design and not too difficult to build quickly. The market may not understand it yet, but, soon it will. This company niw seems to be an unbelieveable investment at prices below .03. Hang on for the ride as smart people will soon see how outstanding this may be.
All kidding aside, there is no reasonable way to project whether there will be profits or even success in the oil/ or gas projects. All know is that if you have a long enogh straw, you can drink a nice milkshake. What I do know is that now instead of mere promises, we can actually see some action. That is, unless the photos at Escala are faked and we didn't really land on the moon.Meanwhile, the proceesing plant at La Paz is closer ot operational status. A 50 million market cap is not unreasonable in my opinion. Do the math and tell me how much the price will be based on the O/S.
How many here would liKe to own a piece of an oil well today. Can I see a show of hands? Bueller, Bueller?? You pull up and say "FILL ER UP".
Intersting how with such an active board, no one here is interested in discussing what this news may mean for the company. For what it's worth, Petty stated in his letter that the company obtained a 300,000 loan to obtain drilling equipment in Texas. My guess is that they will soon start drilling a oil or gas well in West Texas as refenced in this news. I believe a well can be drilled in a week or so. If the seismic studies are proven fruitful, we may have somethiong real good to celebrate. Most of the speculators and quick money kids who like the micros here will probably be long gone by then. Good luck.
