That's not true.
Some update every day. Some update at the beginning or end of the month.
CAPC used to update every day. Then that changed to once a month. The October update is late.
There were 5 PIPE investors, including one individual.
They invested back in April with the belief that their money would go to initial product build for the Amazon program. It was expected to begin in April.
6 months later, Amazon is no where to be seen, and CAPC still doesn't have FCC certification (Real Soon Now, though, Right?).
Why wouldn't a PIPE holder get their legends removed? Once they do that, they have 90 days to sell the stock (or cover the short hedge they obviously entered).
CAPC hasn't enabled the Transfer Agent to update OTCMarkets since 9/1/2021.
When we get a Restricted/Unrestricted update, maybe things will be cleared up.
6 months since the PIPE closed (April 5th).
They can now request their legends be removed to make their shares freely tradeable.
ISWH is the Next ISBG!
They aren't flying to Amazon, at least initially
Even when they had a listing on Amazon, it was 'Sold by Capstone, Ships from Capstone'.
CAPC was paying for the listing. They stopped paying for the listing. Maybe they'll start paying for the listing again, and eventually use Amazon's Logistics to warehouse and ship product.
But, that isn't happening yet.
Speaking of 'yet', anyone got a link to the ETL listing? I don't see one on the search site.

I do see their old products listed there. No smart mirror yet, apparently.
NO-BRAINER?
I agree; the perfect stock for those without brains.
Have at it.
Who says a Smart Home Hub has to be a mirror?
Stewart? LMAO!
Hey, you've got another chair in your living room, are you going to buy another one when they finally ship?
What was supposed to take 5 weeks has taken 14 weeks
Oh, I forgot. Today ends 3Q2021.
Unless they found a way to quickly build and sell some more LED puck lights, this will mark the second consecutive -0- Revenue quarter.
Stewart&Co played 'Bet The Company' back in 2017 on this Smart Mirror product.
It's time to see how that bet plays out. Tax Loss season is just ahead of us.
Interesting confluence of events.
6 months since the private placement firms/individual bought 2.5 million shares @ 60 cents/shr ends on October 4th. At that point, they can request the restrictive legends be removed from their shares. They still are showing a juicy profit at this point.
New (this time we really mean it!) Release date for the mirrors is October 6th.
And, a 3rd player has entered the playing field: Echo Show 15 Smart Frame.
Let's Get Ready to Rumble!
Who said people want a Smart Mirror?
Stewart? He also said he'd be shipping the CAPC smart mirror by the end of 1Q2019. I suggest you don't put too much weight on what he says.
He designed a heavy, fragile product that needs to be shipped 11,000 miles.
Shipping (both by air and by sea) is an expensive mess right now.
Hmmm, buy a dim screen smart mirror, that doesn't have voice input or a camera for video calling, doesn't have Alexa integrated for smart home control, from a no-name company, for almost 3x the price.
Or, buy into Amazon's Alexa Smart Home system for $249.
Release date moved to Oct. 6th

Loved it so much he hasn't mounted it in the 2 weeks he's had it.
Or, verified there's no voice assistant feature on the device.
The old mirror design, based on an 8 inch tablet that plugged into the back of the mirror, had Google.
The new mirror design, that doesn't have a plug in tablet, doesn't have a voice assistant, unless CAPC is hiding it in their documentation/videos.
The only thing they show is under Smart 2, when you cast your phone's display, you can use your phone's voice assistant.
While we're at it, which version of Android is on the mirror?
9? 10? 11?
12 comes out the first half of next year.
My Moto G phone updated OTA to Android 11 recently. Has CAPC made any statements about regular Android updates?
Those are kind of important for security... New features are nice too!
Which voice assistant is installed on the mirror then?
Ok Google? Alexa? Something else? Can we get a video clip of you talking to the mirror (not talking to your phone casted to the mirror)?
Why don't they mention that in Smart 1 Mode then?
They only mention it for Smart 2 mode (casting your phone to the mirror, and using your phone's mic).
Land Rush! Whales! Meyer Luskin!
Zip Code Changer!
Wait...get that Thorazine away from me!! I don't want to go to the rubber room!! Noooooo.....
So, basically, they stopped paying the patent lawyer?
Capstone Smart Mirror seems to be gone from Amazon.
It's even missing from my Browsing History.
Happy Labor Day from CAPC to You!
You probably have me confused with someone else.
I've been following the Capstone Smart Mirror for 4 years now. The first iteration (launched at CES 2019, and then re-launched at CES 2020) was an abject failure, not even selling one unit. It did manage to get FCC certification though, in December 2019.
The latest iteration still has not gotten FCC certification, from what I can see.
It's not legal to import an RF device into the US for retail sale without certification, but you are allowed to import units for testing purposes.
I guess that's where we are with Iteration #2.
Shoot the Messenger
They pushed out dates again. Website availability/release date went from Sept 3 to Sept 15.
Amazon continues to slip a day every day.
Save your ire for me, and re-direct it where it belongs: CAPC/Wallach.
Can we stop with the emails from the secretary? It's not Fair Disclosure.
If Wallach has an update to give, he should put it in writing, either an 8K or update the website.
Maybe CAPC should contact Dong Inc. to find out how they got their fitness smart mirror FCC certified in 2 weeks.
I don't buy the Covid excuse.
Anyway, aren't we due another end-of-month slip of the schedule?
It's a fitness smart mirror.
Tested and FCC certified by the same testing company.
It took 2 weeks.
How many months has CAPC been playing the FCC cert card?
Something doesn't add up.
The original design was FCC licensed on December 19th, 2019. They authorized Micom Labs to do the testing/reporting to the FCC, on December 13th, 2019.
Read all about it here:
https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/2ABNT-CAP001M
Today, a company got their Fitness Workout Smart mirror licensed by the FCC:
https://fccid.io/2A2LM-CIRCLE10
Micom Labs was also the testing/reporting lab. Dong Inc. authorized the work on 8/16/2021.
Something is rotten at CAPC. They've been playing the Covid/testing delay since April. I smell BS.
Again, those marketing posts are somewhat misleading.
The first one shows the old design, the one with the LED side lights. It also is photoshopped to show the display. An all black display should show as 'mirror' - that's how smart mirrors work; an absence of back light makes the mirror 'show', not the image behind it.
The second one (also photoshopped) mentions voice input through the 'Hub'.
That's a feature of the old, discontinued design. Smart 2 mode of the new design has voice input, but that's through your casted phone, not through the mirror itself, from what I can see.
Locked? I thought a float locked stock was supposed to squeeze the shorts, making them bid up the stock to cover?
Shorts bought back a net 18% of their position in July 2021.
Short position 385K on 6/30, 316K on 7/30.
Price was $2.38 on the 6/30 close. $1.70 on the 7/30 close. It's $1.54 today, when we find out they booked Z-E-R-O revenue for the second quarter.
Oh, and the short position? That's the Private Placement investors hedging for a quick $490K profit (350,000 shares sold short in early April right around 2 bucks, right after investing at 60 cents/shr). They cover in October, no buy back required.
-0- Revenue for 2Q
It really is all on the mirror now. They went from $36 million a year in 2017 (when they first hinted at Capstone Connected Mirrors) to absolute zero for April, May, June this year.
I don't buy the Covid Excuse. I shop Walmart and Home Depot; they are full of Chinese made products. They are both doing great business, and the shelves are full. Check Home Depot and Walmart stock prices.
I don't buy the 'we have to curtail our office activities for Covid'. C'mon, there's like 10 of you, mostly elderly, so you should have had your vaccinations back in Jan/Feb. Get the Jab, and Get on with It.
New financing to be provided by Directors, to pay for mirror product. What's it going to cost in shares?
Bottom Line.
I hope they don't forget to file their 2Q2021 10Q today.
Odd Stewart didn't mention it on Friday...
