If it's a real beta, they have to be some months away from launching the product to retail. You need time in the schedule to fix the issues the beta testers find. It's not something you do if you're shipping product to retail imminently.

If it's to generate some buzz on message boards, mission accomplished.

Maybe Wallach is selling some more shares and needs the price up. Zero revenue for 2Q, and it looks like about zero revenue for 3Q.
