ROIAK on watch today, scheduled to release earnings, closed yesterday at 1.66
This little stock can move and move quick. Good earnings it spikes, bad earnings it will most likely drop. If it gets a quick drop watch for a nice bounce.
TASR press release this morning. Yet another hard hitting recommendation by a very reputable source. The NTOA is very much up on its game when it comes to law enforcement issues.

National Tactical Officers Association Recommends TASER X26 Electronic Control Devices
Thursday February 21, 7:45 am ET
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- TASER International, Inc. (NasdaqGS:TASR - News), the market leader in advanced electronic control devices (ECDs), today announced that the TASER(r) X26 ECD was tested and recommended by the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). The TASER X26 received an overall score of 4.68 out of a potential 5.0 points in the NTOA ``Member Tested and Recommended Products Program.'
The NTOA program is designed to provide law enforcement product manufacturers with a process by which their products can be field tested by the law enforcement community. Scoring is based upon a five point criteria, for which a score of five is the highest possible score. During the test, the following areas were tested and evaluated by law enforcement agencies: design; performance; ease of use; quality; durability; storage; versatility; convenience; application; comfort; accuracy; and cleaning & maintenance.
According to the NTOA, the TASER X26 review will be published in the Tactical Edge journal, the Member
Tested Product Review Guide, and the NTOA website.
``We are pleased to receive such high scores from active duty law enforcement experts participating in the NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Products Program,' commented Tom Smith, Chairman and Founder of TASER International. ``These results speak volumes about the TASER(r) technology and our electronic control devices designed to protect law enforcement officers when they need it,' concluded Smith.
The following are actual quotes by active duty participants in the TASER X26 test and evaluation:
1. "The X26 I tested was deployed for testing purposes and it was
very effective. I would highly recommend the TASER X26 as a Less
Lethal option."
2. "Previously having been trained and certified with the X26 by my
Tactical Unit, I could already verify that this was one of the
most effective less lethal devices available to Law Enforcement.
Having personally experienced the effects of the X26's
five-second, 50,000 volt shock during this training, I can verify
that this weapon would completely incapacitate your threat."
3. "The most obvious feature or benefit of the X26, or any less
lethal device, is the Officer's ability to be armed with alternate
control options other than lethal force. I cannot begin to explain
the comfort that this can bring to an Officer, who in today's day
and age is faced with the challenges of lawsuits and undue
scrutiny for his or her decisions and actions. The political and
operational benefits of this device make it a must for any
department."
4. "Overall, I found the TASER X26 to be effective, safe, and easy
to use. I strongly believe that the TASER X26 is one of the best
tools a Law Enforcement Officer can have in this day and age of
increasing violence and small town politics. This valuable piece
of equipment has proven to reduce officer and offender injuries
and deaths, as well as reduce the number of lawsuits brought
against departments as a result of a threatening encounter. I
would highly recommend this product to any of my peers or
surrounding departments."

I had TQNT back on watch back about 3 weeks ago, it got sifted out after it didn't produce much and I had forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder, I'll take a closer look at it a bit later
PCTI
Has anyone picked up on this one? I jumped in this morning at 6.78 so keep in mind I am a little biased on it.
Earnings hit yesterday after hours, better earnings than expected
PCTI Quote and news
Not many shares out there on it.

It may bounce short term, but I look for TASR to fully drive STIY into the ground and sometime in the near future STIY won't be able to bounce. Keep in mind TASR has the funding to push this fight as far as they need to in order to get the job done. I don't believe STIY can say the same thing. STIY would have been better off to have not brought this fight to the table IMO.
When it comes to the Dept of Justice (DOJ) and The National Institute of Justice (NIJ), their word is golden when it comes to law enforcement. They are kind of like God in that aspect. The only law enforcement agencies that will even look at Stinger after this will be those that are similar to Mayberry.
IMO this will also open up a huge door for filing of lawsuits against STIY for any injuries caused by faulty equipment as described in the report.
The lawsuit filed by the SEC against STIY a month or so ago isn't going to do STIY any favors either.
Should get interesting!
TASR press release from today.
This is too good not to post on this board as well. JK actually caught it before I did and gave me a heads up and I immediately put it on the TASR board.
For those of you unaware of how law enforcement works. The Dept of Justice (DOJ) and National Institute of Justice (NIJ) are pretty much considered God when it comes to testing and evaluating tools used by law enforcement agencies. These are the guys that pretty much set the standards for any and every tool used by law enforcement. This study will carry a tremendous amount of weight with law enforcement agencies across the country.
With that said, here is the PR

Department of Justice Study Evaluates Electronic Control Device Technology; Report Obtained Through FOIA Request Supports Superiority of TASER Devices
Wednesday February 20, 2:22 pm ET
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 20, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- TASER International, Inc. (NasdaqGS:TASR - News), the market leader in advanced electronic control devices (ECDs), today announced that it has obtained a copy of the draft final report dated January 25, 2008 of a U.S. Department of Justice funded study titled: ``A Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis of Conducted Energy Weapons: TASER X26 vs. Stinger S200'' through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the National Institute of Justice. According to the report, the purpose of the study is ``to objectively evaluate both the TASER International and Stinger weapon systems. This is accomplished by evaluating the performance, safety, and reliability of both products.'' (p. 10)
TASER International will be providing a copy of the report to Stinger Systems (OTC BB:STIY.OB - News) pursuant to on-going discovery in its patent infringement litigation, ``TASER International, Inc. v. Stinger Systems,'' in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, case number CV07-0042-PHX-MHM.
Some of the key findings of the 93-page report are:
1. Lower level of incapacitation when exposed to the Stinger S-200
* "...the majority of people reported a much lower level of
incapacitation when hit with the Stinger S200 in comparison to
the TASER X26." (p. 6)
* "In all cases of TASER deployment, the subjects were immediately
incapacitated. However, the majority of people had little
reaction when hit with the Stinger S200 while this CED was
affixed to them via gator clips." (p. 24)
2. Safety Concerns
* "Further problems existed in that the Stinger cartridges would
also discharge little pieces of plastic and metal that could best
be described as `shrapnel.' This was noted numerous times in
testing as these items constantly stuck the research team."
(p. 37)
* "Should the user make contact with the cross-bolt switch while
the Stinger S-200 is discharging a cycle of current, the user
also receives a shock for the duration of the cycle." (p. 74)
3. TASER X26 is a more reliable device
* "A quantitative review of the weapon systems shows greater
reliability of the TASER X26 over its Stinger S200 counterpart."
(p. 6)
* Stinger S-200 "exhibited little constancy" (p. 35)
* "...the malfunction rate on the Stinger weapon, which was
measured, for the initial equipment, at 47.35%. Many times the
cartridge simply would not fire..." (p. 36)
* "Should the user make contact with the cross-bolt switch while
the Stinger S200 is discharging a cycle of current, the user also
receives a shock for the duration of the cycle." (p. 75)
4. TASER X26 is a more durable device
* "... a number of cartridges were dropped from a height of four
feet to determine their survivability. None of the TASER
cartridges broke during this test; however, fourteen out of the
twenty Stinger cartridges were damaged upon impact with a
carpeted floor." (p. 7)
* "Additionally, a number of Stinger cartridges were broken while
still in their shipping container. The blast doors fell off,
releasing the wire tether." (p. 68)
5. Stinger's Training Materials contained incorrect information
* "Some of the material was found to be outdated and incomplete,
and the instructor advised participants to ignore sections of the
handout material where discrepancies were noted." (p. 17)
6. Stinger S-200 probes flew erratically and frequently broke
* "In addition to the erratic spread of the (Stinger) probes, the
probes tended to fly in an untrue linear manner and did not
penetrate the target as they would often hit the target sideways.
Evidence of this was when the barbs bounced off the target and
flew back towards the researchers." (p. 36)
* "One concern with the Stinger weapon system was that the Stinger
S200 probes frequently broke free from their barbs in the
target." (p. 6)
* "As was the case with our initial volunteer tester, almost every
(Stinger) barb broke off in the plastic dummy target." (p. 36)
* "In this case, the barbs could not be removed by attendant EMS
staff and the subject had to be transported to the local hospital
for removal by a physician. Due to an ethical concern about doing
harm to the additional volunteer subjects involved in this
testing, subsequent testing with all other subjects involved the
use of alligator clips." (p. 22)
* "The Stinger probes frequently broke off in the target during
testing and their removal. During this testing, 52 Probes out of
159 Stinger cartridges broke off in the testing target (32.8%)."
(p. 66)

Sounds like a great plan to me. IMO never be afraid to take a profit, you can always buy back in on a dip.
Logging your picks is a great way to see how they play out long term without risking capital.
Feel free to post them here on the board. I track many of them that way and go back and look at past charts on a regular basis. That was my main goal when I took over this board, just to have a place to be able to pull up a grouping of my charts, and it has worked out well so far.

yep, NYX just couldn't pull it off, I really thought it was going to there for a minute.
As for pincher scans, keep record of them and go back and look at past picks a month or so after you picked them. More times than not they run and run well. Too often we get shaken out on little dips and take profits here and there but the big picture tells it all. We pick them way to early and don't hold them long enough.
As for ESLR, give it time, if you are covered both ways it will move, I've not seen a solar play trade flat yet.
that's a pretty good size chunk on XOHO, somebody really likes it
YGE, low today of 17.95. I don't know why I don't listen to myself sometimes. Would have been close to a 20% had I shorted it

IAG, not a bad day, up 2.74%, chart shaping up nice. I look for good things out of this for the rest of the week.

PCTI closed at 6.98, up 2.9% from my entry at 6.78, up 12.94% on the day. I'm holding overnight on this one, looking for a good day tomorrow from it.
FINL closed at HOD 2.88 up over 14%
from the looks of the 5 min intraday I would say that it is very possible that NYX will close at 68.00 or above. That would set up a nice chart for tomorrow IMO
doing nice, up over 2.30 from days low
FINL, trying hard to break that 2.82
FINL, 2.82 is the support area before the first down gap. It's going to have some resistance there, may not break through it today
Still over 10% gain today, not a bad day at all if it holds it
FINL having an exceptional day, back to back big green candles

I'm looking for XIDE to consolidate a bit in the 10.00 to 11.00 area. It's been ran pretty hard the last month or so and this would be the best thing for it IMO. I agree with you, with the hammer formed it should push upwards in the next day or so if it can hold it til EOD
PCTI 7.14 new HOD, gotta love it!!
PCTI Intraday Batman formation
I'm not sure but I think this is a batman formation with the On Balance
Never underestimate the power of Batman, PPS just spiked again right after it.......HA!
LMRA chart
running nice on news
PCTI, got in at 6.78, looks to be getting a little action now
PCTI chart
chart looking good, earnings were exceptional, could be a good play here
well that worked out real nice at first, was up almost 30%, didn't take profit at the top and ended up barely above break even.
SHRP, I grabbed a small chunk at .50, see if we can't get a bounce out of it this morning
MMAB Chart
OK let's see if we can't get the right chart posted this time.
Yeah I know, it's a pink and that does nothing for me but it is a 7.47 pink and they don't get to that price by doing what normal pinks do
not a bad combination if you ask me. Guess you could say we are laughing all the way to the bank
Markets are looking ugly so far this morning, may need some humor about mid day just to pull us through
IMO will be one of those days that separates those who make money from those who make money only when the market is green
SPY down almost 2.00 in premarket
SHRP chart
had a decent feeling for this one, just checked news, the good feeling quickly disappeared. Looks like news this morning, SHRP filed chapter 11
.55 in premarket right now
It was pretty good but I've heard so much better out of him, only problem is most of it isn't suitable for posting here......lol
FINL Chart
Two reasons I'm posting this one. First is that I love that big green engulfing candle yesterday. Second is a reminder of the power of a good pinch between the PPO and ADX. This is a beautiful show of what happens when the pinch releases and separates. I played it for some nice gains under 2.00 but the gains would've been huge had I had a bit more patience with it.
I'm not saying we should hold them all and risk losing profits, just saying sometimes it may be worth the risk

Gotta love yesterday's candle, IMO we see green with it today

Has put in a double bottom, may be worth keeping an eye on IMO
