Great News! Great buying response. $CAPC
A very big reason for sure!
I just think the things I noted are keeping more than a few investors away and impacting price. Ok for me really as it is not a capital gains play for me. I buy the dips and never sell…. so far anyway
What about higher oil? Do you think we’ll see $90-$100?
Great point Pete! EPD is heavily supported by the analysts. However it seems that ESG, K-1 and LP tax rules, Potential elimination of LP's by the current administration, divestment of fossil fuels companies from pension funds, etc., are keeping potential investors at bay. Holding the price down.
I buy EPD as a forever hold income investment. For the reasons above and possibly others, I don't necessarily expect much price appreciation much like we haven't seen in many years. A good "bond" it is. It definitely be interesting to see how EPD reacts if we see $100 oil again which, at this point, wouldn't surprise me.
Easily
$CAPC is in an uptrend with MACD, RSI, Volume all very healthy. Running above the 30DMA and closed above the 200DMA.
Yes we are lol. Looks better so far today.
Yes, I saw that after my post. Thanks for pointing that out.
Very surprised to see this drop all the way back to previous support. What am I missing here?
Next $CAPC resistance level of any significance is around $1.80. I mean, just in case anyone is watching the share price........
$CAPC $1.50-$1.60 this week. $1.80-$2.20 with news that they’re on the plane to Amazon
Should be on fire this week!
I would like to think so but I expect $5 in 2022. Still very good though
Very much looking forward to that news! $OREAF
Good news! Good day! $CAPC
Right, it’s not a competitive item. Small overlap maybe
Low volume leads to MMischeif
Yes sir! And I have…. $OREAF
Go back to that post. There is a link to the BFS Bankable Feasibility Study. Loads of info
Yes $OREAF looks really good!
I am happy to see that it's...A single stage semi-autogenous grinding circuit with recycle crushing (SS SAC) comminution circuit with a 14 million watt(MW) SAG mill, recycle pebble crusher and cyclones will produce a target P80 75 µm grind size. A gravity circuit will recover coarse gold. The concentrate goes to a CIL circuit.
This is a relatively small mill that should be able to be built quickly. Apparently no open Cyanide leach pad is proposed. Great!
Link to BFS
Yeah, I’m surprised so far too. Orea $OREAF Looking pretty good.
I’m throwing questions out as I go. Are they planning on a heap leach process for the oxidized cap or going straight to a milling process?
Asking questions while I am doing DD. Is Nordgold putting up their share of CapEx (55%) for construction and development?
This of course would be the non-merger case
Looks like Orea $OREAF is in fine company with a number of major named players in the business.
New to the board. Just getting my Orea feet under me.
Do we know who the private US investment firm is?
The FCC authorization process is begun once your product is ready to be mass-produced and sold to consumers. Your device is tested to see if it may cause interference with other equipment, broadcasts in the correct radio frequency range, and meets other telecommunications requirements.
Apparently the Thin Cast was just ready for production fairly recently, right? May? Seems to me then that anything regulatory related regarding the older versions of the mirror would be irrelevant and obsolete now based on the above. It still has been a lengthy process I know
Should we assume that the Thin Cast Mirror actually needs FCC approval? Will it emit a radio frequency? Is this verified?
Most products that can emit radio frequency energy need to be tested and certified to be marketed or sold in the U.S. The best rule of thumb is that any electronics device with the ability to oscillate above 9 kHz must get an FCC authorization
Finally, I am going to assume at this point ('cause I'm out of time) that UL approvals may also require this condition: once your product is ready to be mass-produced So again, anything prior to May would be useless for the cert process of the new mirror.
Plenty of UL with the various models of eco-i-lite being good examples. FCC? I believe there was something years ago that was Bluetooth. I Certainly would not expect it to be complex for the mirror since it's already an established and common type of communication.
Do you feel that approvals are going to be complex for the mirror? If so, why?
Most don’t seem to get that
you are correct. I don't know how many completed mirrors these pictures actually represent as fully assembled and ready. That's what I'm trying to determine.
insert-text-here
I may be missing something that you are trying to point out. We know that significant number of mirrors have already been manufactured. Do we know how many?
Definitely range bound
Ah yes! Thank you rvd. Is it on Twitter or do you recall that if it has been stated by the company how many mirrors have been fully assembled and ready for shipment?
I called it a guess. You presented your guess as fact, with capital letters no less lol.
For discussion...
This statement was made by Stewart during the August 13 update:
".....the testing laboratory, which operates both in China and Thailand, were significantly impacted by severe COVID outbreaks."
Forget the COVID part for just a minute if you would. Does anyone know if there is any FCC involvement in these labs?
Do you know what the results channel is from a Thai lab to the FCC? I don't. I'll ask. It would be good for us to understand this better I think
There actually were shutdowns in Thailand in March 2021. 100 or 200 new cases a day was enough for them to take extreme measures. Looking at a simple chart to determine if COVID was a problem for the Thailand authorities 6 months ago is pretty weak research IMO.
Now, somewhere along the way fairly recently, we saw pictures of the completed mirrors in a Thailand plant. I distinctly remember reading/hearing that the initial 1,000 mirrors are complete and ready to ship. However, I've been searching for that reference and am not finding it this morning so far. Maybe someone else remembers this?
At this point, my guess is, that they are now waiting on only the manufacturing facility site inspection. But that's just my guess
Yeah, you wouldn't get the answers you want anyway. No one here really knows the answers either. I have a good relationship with management but I wouldn't get anything material myself outside of a webcast or filing.
I am happy that manufacturing of the product is fully developed. No issue there. There should be no issue with certifiability it's just a question of when IMO.
I'm glad to hear that you are still a shareholder. I had not been confident of that for some time now.
This is not a question that can be answered by this board. You should go directly to Capstone with this question. Please post Capstone's response or summary of such.
Some folks just have a problem staying out of the weeds and miss the big picture with Capstone $CAPC. Actually, it's been going on since somewhere around 2007. I shake my head
"The only question should be when are we getting government approval"
Yes, that is the million $ question
Sounds exciting!
Huge buys have been happening frequently over the last couple of weeks. Buying outweighs selling frequently even on down days. Seems to be confidence that money can be made going long . It is a good sign
I think it fair to surmise that Stewart was indicating what amount of long lead components they are willing to commit to at that time. I don’t think it indicates an absolute upper limit of mirror units to market in 2021.
With that said, I think at this point, we’d all be very happy with 5,000 units sold this year. After that, positive guidance for future sales will be key. The stock market is forward looking
