Train you have more skeptics than a 90 dollar cent piece.
just hit CNN - enron shareholders to be reimbursed, we're next
http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/09/09/enron.settlement/index.html
I don't know until we have some facts from the TA. Certainly possible, but every company is different.
greedy its simple,
cancel 10% to add 1000% value to the stock is going to benefit them.
This is why the government can't help freddie and fannie:
http://money.cnn.com/2008/09/09/news/economy/cbo_budget_update/index.htm?cnn=yes
Because they can't balance their checkbook.
If that's true shorty is in trouble.
If congress can't balance a budget, how the heck are they going to save Fannie and Freddie? By adding another tax (having the tax payers front the load) to the interest of those loans? Um, Wrong, that just adds another expense.
We need the silver standard behind our currency to stop this endless cycling of debt dollars triggered by the housing bubble and the endless supply of shares bubbles.
ouch ross perot was right.
lol yep.
If the float is gone then there are no shares to dump.
I just think its funny that the market makers have such control of the prices that they can drive it down to 0.0002 even though the actual float and OS are going down. They have absolutely no way of knowing that shares are limited even though its them who are selling the shares into the limitless pool. They are riding blind into the night with only the north star of the TA's reports as a guide.
Not only is this pathetic, its unacceptable manipulation.
So where does this put the float?
So is the float estimated at less than a billion now?
Anyone remember how many restricted shares FFGO treasury is saying that they hold?
looks like a repeat of last newses
I agree, the SEC is just a figurehead organization, and most of the groundwork is laid and done by the judicial branch.
hey king,
last time we invested together we lost all (PAIM)
Lets hope for better this time.
reminds me of this metaphorically naked short rat, with the SEC testing the "barrier" of reg SHO. Cletus, is our symbol of the brazen prime broker getting ready to sell counterfeit shares through the mythical barrier. Lets watch:
yeah and its now made in Belgium
probably.
power_forward I don't think that argument flies with the SEC cuz naked shorting has ruined many small companies yet they continually denied it mattered. But you can always write your congressman and try to get SEC forced communication to get them to listen. Worked for me.
Wow cool an argument about 1000th of a cent! its a first in my life and I'm working on 50 here.
lol just be patient train. If you need some more IT disaster work to do maybe try citibank or ubs, they're about up to their shorts in information tech disaster.
They would be registered if they were delivered prior to march 2005
You speak of FFGO and very English well.
Add the 622B unregistered to the 702B unrestricted shares that were already delivered in cert form prior to March 2005 and that's the 1.3T share dilemna.
Sparky Anderson is my favorite manager :)
nufced, now all of my aliases at rb are not permitting posting. I guess someone didn't like my bringing it to the public's attention that the SEC admitted that they themselves needed to apologize to the public for denying that naked shorting exists.
Nice :)
I'd like to address this topic further and see if there is a justification.
Since companies are now teaming up with each other and SEC to destroy the naked short perpetrators, it might make sense to buy up the float, and hold most of the shares in restricted form... issue cash dividend after cash dividend to force the naked shorts to cover...
If 35 billion shares are naked shorted with FFGO, and a cash dividend of 0.0001 is paid each week for a year, the cost to the naked shorts is about 250 million dollars over the year. Its just small potatoes to the brokerages, who will pay it because they don't want to admit that they are short.
Everyone wins.
so investorman,
are you glad that edwards got served and ruled against etc. so that BF and KW can use the funds to get the investigations wrapped up etc.?
If its not registered then how did they hit the market? Where is the safeguard to prevent me from taking 1,000,000 unregistered shares of microsoft into a broker if I am Bill Gates and having them sell it on the market?
then how do they know to go ahead and sell infinite shares?
nufced do you think this is possible:
NSS perpetrators and guys like UC were in on it together from the beginning?
nufced sorry my phone cut out
Hey nufced,
I will email you my phone# I wanna speak w u. is that ok?
nufced can you give me the upshot of the hakala letters?
