Good luck Nukem........... I like your DBacks..... I'd be good with them winning. I live in RedSox land so that's my team but after they broke the curse, everything else has been a bonus. It's funny but I don't like any of the other California teams besides the Rams. Just a lifelong fan.
Well Nukem, you put a scare into the Rams but they found their way in the 2nd half. Phew!
Love the Lions.........as long as they don't beat my Rams........ Goff doesn't always make good quick decisions but he can throw the rock.
Agreed Nukem.......... every now and then some friendly banter is welcomed........ and as for Chargers FFS, they are the perennial underachievers. They tease us with talent and then implode in the playoffs. I love when Dallas implodes(ALWAYS) but I do want the Chargers to succeed.
Congrats on the DBacks beat down of the Dodgers....... nice job! You do realize the Rams have to do the same to the Cardinals right? Actually these are the matchups that scare me. The Rams should win but divisional games are a toss up.
On a positive note, my odds of hitting on Powerball are improving over my odds of making a profit on AMRN so there's that.
Thanks JRoon........ good to know that little tidbit.
Thanks JRoon........ then we best get moving on this profit generation thing.
Well the good news is this s show of share performance hasn't affected my recent lipid test results......
Cholesterol total of 205 although I don't get how they did the math when:
LDL = 115.6 ...... 0 - 100 considered Normal so I'm a little high there.
HDL = 79.8 ...... 40 -60 considered Normal range so I'm slightly high there but that's a good thing.
Trigs = 43 ....... 30 - 150 considered a good range so Ben and Jerry's addiction can't be all bad.
TOTALLY AGREE...... announce a share buyback! I've been saying this for a year....make a splash!
I think if that were happening, we would have launched our own generic.
Can't argue with your technicals FFS...... I'm going through a hate hate relationship with this stock.
JRoon, I think it's more of just not on the radar...... it's a penny stock at the moment so it's not worth them looking at it.....the fundamentals are pretty solid but we're just not that appealing to institutions under a buck. Nobody is out there pumping us so until we see a sharp move in the needle.....we will just trudge along.
Zip, you're a month behind..... we're in October.
drip.....drip...... drip
I'm not saying I have "so much" faith in Denner, I'm saying I don't share the views that he has this nefarious plan to screw the shareholders. I am not happy with .80 a share either..... I'm using this as an opportunity and bought another 4000 shares at .83 to get my average below $4. I'll continue scraping together pocket change and lowering my cost basis in hopes that scripts start to climb globally and AMRN becomes solidly profitable.
Here's his plan.... and it's a simple plan......invest only what you need to grow scripts in approved countries. Work on getting approval in other countries. Do the bare minimum in the US until you can come up with a game changer in the US. Stop with the conspiracy theories that he plans to take the company private. It's not happening. They need to show that they can grow scripts and do this during the worst time in history for launching a drug like this. That's the plan.
Unless he intends on buying up another 300 million share, it's not happening.
Our reality is that we are where we are........ unless it's therapeutic for people to keep bringing up the past, move on. We need to grow scripts and stay lean in the process. If we're rally fortunate, some successful trial will send us flying into the arms of an overpaying BP. If I am really fortunate, I will have the winning Powerball numbers on my lottery ticket and have to deal with a major tax problem.
Agreed...... that was a big time save for us.
Works for me! Hendrix gin and Fever tree tonic water for all my friends.......
If BRAVE is really positive and causes a BP bidding war, then once the sale is completed, we all meet in Dublin and take over some pub for the evening.

Kiwi, perhaps you can find out if Kaiser was looking for this and wouldn't they have stopped covering scripts for V if that was the case?
Shorts are shorts....... you don't have a secret list of short quantity..... shares short are shares short whether they are naked or not.
FFS, the less than 4% of the float being shorted is a nothing burger
Nice.... so we're looking at a $40.5 Billion market cap? Any timeline on that? I need to add to my pile of shares.
Hi Nukem..... getting labs done tomorrow for a physical next week....... let's see what my nurse practitioner has to say then. I'm not on any statins and don't want to be but there is history of heart attacks and stroke in my family tree. Then again, those folks didn't have the healthiest of lifestyles either.
I can't get my physician to prescribe me V either so I've been taking Pure Essentials Ultra EPA concentrate for a couple years now.. 2 grams a day but I'm just starting to bump it up to 3.
JRoon, I think there's slightly under 17 million shares short so that's not much.
jasbg, outstanding find.
If only I could time travel back to the stone age
JRoon, this is exactly why those who believe in the medicine and AMRN should be loading up at these prices. At some point, this will become more well known.
I caught that as well Capt'n...... thanks for illustrating his comments. It's going to be a tough slog in the UK but at least they are slogging.
Wow, you must have a unique view of terrible fundamentals ....... since AMRN has no debt, over $300 Million in cash, and was cash flow positive in Q2, what do they have to do in your mind to have ok fundamentals?
Interesting how the reports just talk about how the drug reduces CVD risk but they don't mention that if Strides tries to market it as such, they will get sued.
You were spot on with your .85 prediction. Props to you.
Yes Nukem, you were without Murray........ and you torched the Cowboys on the ground with over 200 yards....... I'm doing so poorly in my fantasy baseball leagues that I don't know all the playoff teams...... good for the DBacks though..... I did know that they were decent this year. My Red Sox are horrible and our arch rivals the Yankees are just as bad.
Hey Nukem....... great win by your Cardinals over those always overrated Cowboys.
JRoon, that's not meaningless because it means the company is sold..... he still has to pay the strike price for the options but as far as a tidy profit, yes, he has to sell the company for over a $1 to make anything.
Well keep this in mind..... in order for Holt to clean up he needs this to happen.
Mr. Holt will be issued a one-time grant of stock options giving him the right to purchase up to 5,000,000 shares subject to performance-based vesting with share price hurdles ranging from $2.50 to $15.00. Upon achievement of each share price hurdle, a set number of shares are earned.
For each share price hurdle to be achieved, the volume weighted average price of the shares over a 60-day calendar period must equal or exceed the applicable share price hurdle.
Once a share price hurdle has been achieved, the earned option shares are subject to an additional five months of time-based vesting to further support sustained stock price appreciation.
Mr. Holt has also agreed to purchase $300,000 worth of Amarin shares in the open market using personal funds.
