What's with the volume and little bump in price this morning? I'm not complaining but 25 million shares and not far off from striking 8's.
NEWS!!!
Kona Gold Solutions, Inc. Expands Distribution of its Hemp and CBD Beverages into Alabama, Arizona, Iowa, and Utah The Company has added 14 new distribution partners in the last 30 days MELBOURNE, Fla., July 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE -- Kona Gold Solutions, Inc. (OTC Pink: KGKG), a hemp and CBD lifestyle brand focused on product development in the functional beverage sector, is pleased to announce the Company has expanded distribution into 4 new states, Alabama, Arizona, Iowa, and Utah where its popular Kona Gold Hemp Energy Drinks and HighDrate CBD Energy Waters will now be sold at local retail locations. Kona Gold has partnered with 14 new distributors within the last 30 days in a total of 12 states across the United States; Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Kona Gold currently has distribution partners in 35 states. Kona Gold is now focusing on key markets in the western United States. This is evident with 6 of the Company's new distribution partners being located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Utah. As the Company expands westward, plans are in place to hire a West Coast Sales Manager and lease warehouse space for its west coast distribution center, similar to the Company's new 30,000 sq ft distribution center in Greer, SC. "Month over month we continue to have phenomenal growth as the Company continues to grab more market share by partnering with great distributors in new key markets, such as Phoenix and Tampa," stated Robert Clark, CEO of Kona Gold Solutions, Inc. "Our goal is to have our products in all 50 states by the end of 2019, which I'm confident our team will accomplish. We had a fantastic record setting Q2 and we look to build on and beat those revenues in Q3. We will be announcing several exciting chains the Company's products will be in very soon." Kona Gold will have an exciting third quarter with the recent launch of its two new HighDrate flavors, Blue Island Punch and Sour Apple, which are available for purchase on the Company's website, the launch of its highly anticipated Storm CBD High Alkaline Water, and a new flavor of Kona Gold Hemp Energy Drink that will be announced soon.
In that ALKM is Nevada based and this has traded virtually entirely in the 6's today I believe the following is totally appropriate.
C'MON 7's lol
I am just waiting for the PR next week that says the July revenue is in excess of $450k. I can just feel that one coming. Think about it, continuing to sign new distributors, new flavors of both Kona and HighDrate and in the middle of the peak summer selling season.
And in the closing minutes, PRP, no one bothered to try to paint it back up. I am really beginning to side with Aston - I'll have to start putting a clothespin on my nose when I check this the way its starting to stink.
LOL, Mickey
I just wish when it jumps a tick it would stay but that doesn't seem to be the case. Seems to have that 2 steps forward and three steps back scenario down pretty well.
What a pile of c*ap, Mickey,
Yea, up 20% but that is on the day for the past months I am down over 120% so this little temporary uptick is virtually meaningless. I say later this week without any fins being filed the 4's are a common' for sure.
No way there would be a buyout in the foreseeable future. Clark and all of management are having way too much fun enjoying the way this company is going. Strong growth like this takes vision and management here would not consider giving this up in my opinion.
Accordingly the only way there would be a buyout would be through a hostile takeover. And I believe that there are enough shareholders here that see Clark's vision they would be hard pressed to let go of their shares unless the price made the let go virtually irresistible. Then it becomes a question of how bad the suitor wants the company.
Few more weeks of this crap and we may very well be down to no bid.
Sorry, Mickey I have heard the unfulfilled promises too many times already and I will only believe it when I see it. I used to be such a strong believer in this company. Now I believe I will be very embarrassed this Christmas having to face all the nieces and nephews I gifted shares to last year when I was a profound believer.
What an emotional disaster this has become for me, not even thinking about the money I will probably lose personally.
Stock price seems to be following the countdown for that supposed trip "to da moon" Countdown now down to 5. I would not be surprised to see the countdown stock price clock go to 4 or 3 in the next week.
If some fins could be filed it might slow its downward pace but in my mind that is nothing but wishful thinking.
What area of Florida is he covering, Cabo?
Would be nice, PRP but I am not holding my breath. I am seeing to many disappointments as far as lack of follow up for filings, news, etc.
It has been over 5 weeks since the new accounting/auditing firm has been announced. If ALKM were to file 2 fins a month from here out, we would barely make the last projection of being current the end of this year. With what has been suggested about the limited business back in 2017, how many transactions could have taken place in total each quarter 100, 200???
I guess the in house accountant and the outside firm are too busy out in the fields picking blueberries.
Soon the 6's will be on the ask and the bids will be in the 5's and 4's. And don't tell me to just sell if I am not happy. I would be better off requesting paper stock certificates to use as wallpaper with what I own.
Just saw your post re lift gate fees. I used to avoid those by backing my pickup truck up to the back of the tractor trailer rig. Then I could take my time breaking my products down. Just a suggestion from when I used to receive pallet loads of material for a business I had - would get pallet loads with 5 gallon pails of material.
Sorry but I don't see a big chain picking up the product for all their stores until we have the distributors in place nationally. We need to have distributors that are going to be local enough for them to be able to call every week and place an order for product. We are not there yet. They might start to pick it up for some regional areas but that is it right now.
Look at Lucky's Market. We signed them up many months ago and are still not even in all of their Florida stores and that is our home state! There is a Lucky's not real far from me in St. Petersburg, FL and I have called multiple times to see about them carrying it or even special ordering it. Finally, they are beginning to carry it there and they are also having a customer tasting event there today. Several of the Lucky's Stores that do carry it in Florida only have single cans available in a cooler. It needs the exposure of being on the shelves and that takes time.
We will get there but we are still in the baby step stage in my opinion. This product poses great potential not only for shareholders but also those that want to become startup distributors. With that in mind, thanks to all of you who have stepped up to become distributors. I am sure that with your efforts it will help you to become very wealthy which will in turn help make Kona Gold a very profitable company. Only wish this opportunity were available to me when I was younger, lol.
red, Just wondering if you have any thoughts about how quickly they might do an r/s once current. I would think they would also have the CE removed before an r/s could happen and not sure if that can be removed before they are current with the fins. As I understand it, the CE is not specifically tied to the fins being current but I would think they need to show things are clean before they can try to remove the CE.
lol, willabee
Now I feel like I am at the Kentucky Derby cheering on a dark horse --- Hmmmmmm, didn't a dark horse come through at the Derby this year!!!
I do hope Storm gets released soon. We are already almost midway through the big summer season and it would be sad to miss this prime time for a release.
I believe that a someone who is also a distributor posted here that they had an order being shipped to them that included the new HighDrate flavors on Wednesday - today. If that is so and it includes Storm by any chance, I would like to see a press release today about the new products being in stock now.
Good luck on the up listing bigtalan,
I am just beginning to wonder if the up listing talk is just a flash in the pan that they may have wanted to investigate. Now, however, I am afraid that they are far too busy keeping up with product growth to even put any time towards the up listing. I don't look to see it happening in the near future. Just my opinion.
Your sure are optimistic, Mickey
While it would be nice to see the filings start to be reported in the next couple of weeks, I have just been disappointed with the waves going up and then down and with wave that comes in it seems to be followed by a lower low.
I am in too deep and will just have to wait it out for whatever outcome we ultimately see.
Yep, I agree stockvaper. I have a feeling there may be some of the flippers selling right now in hopes of buying back lower. Will not surprise me if they get caught with their proverbial pants down and this blows past the 13s and up to the 14s all we need is a little press release
FINS TO THE LEFT, FINS TO THE RIGHT
Oh wait, that was a Jimmy Buffet song I was listening to on my bike ride this morning, lol.
I do agree with you Ball about all the energy and protein drinks on the shelves
BUT, do any of them have the cult style following both with rapidly growing vested shareholders and growing loyal fan base that are promoting the crap out of a product that we truly believe in? These things combined with a truly great taste can be significant in growing a company brand. Many out there are like lemmings in what we drink and eat and are reluctant to try something new if we really like what we are ingesting unless something new is actually recommended to us by a friend or acquaintance. AND THAT is part of what is happening here.
It is now becoming a numbers game as so many try it, really like it and then tell everyone we know as well as those touting it to many we don't even know. There are so many vested, self proclaimed and non-paid spokespeople around the country for this company that are continuing to invest in and spread the word about these drinks. And these numbers are growing every day because these are great tasting drinks that have an ingredient which is creating a buzz.
Now combine that with the low initial investment cost for 1000 or 10000 shares which so many of the masses can afford, keeping in mind that many of us are not only telling others to try it but also saying that you can invest in it too for a pittance right now. And then they can say that they are invested in the latest craze which can and will make many wealthy beyond their imaginations. Naturally the brand will be touted to extremes and when more try it and say "I like it", they too join in. One convinces 10 to join in who each convince 10 more and so it goes.
Tying it all together is that this is a consumable product that people keep purchasing over and over, not something like a hula hoop or pet rock or other one and done craze. Consider it like the very early investors in Amazon. Just think about all the other Amazon clones which are popping up.
We don't have to be the only CBD beverage out there but with our exponentially growing recognition, we will become a leader in the industry sooner rather than later.
Considering this is a Holiday week when the revenue news hit, it ended well. Next week when all are back to their routines and they start seeing these revenue numbers, I believe we should see some solid movement.
Happy 4th to all!
LOL, blue Reminds me of when I would input DNAD in here and before the posts would appear it changed momentarily to DEAD -- I should have taken the hint back then.
Okay, I have been somewhat miffed about the continuing delay about the release of Storm. Last night I started thinking about a possibility and wanted to share these thoughts to see if anyone else agrees.
We know that there are some potential issues relative to the legality of the CBD in the HighDrate line. We know that probably in an abundance of caution, Kona has separated the web sites for the Kona Gold line and the HighDrate line. I am thinking that since Storm is probably going to use the same CBD as the HighDrate line and it will be unflavored, perhaps to avoid attracting any potential negative attention from the government authorities to the HighDrate line Kona is simply holding back until the government regulations are resolved. Then the sales of HighDrate and the new Storm will be a non-issue as far as government regulations are concerned.
It would not surprise me if before the regulations are cleared, the government may decide to make an example of a company that is currently in that gray area. Kona certainly does not want to be drawing attention with the Storm release and become that example.
Any others have some thoughts on my theory about Storm?
Electronic billboards are pretty reasonable and can be directed only to markets that they have some good coverage. Just a thought.
I like the Kona Gold HighDrate pic, PRP. Quick question - is Alkame also producing and packaging the new Storm for them????
Does anyone have any real insight about who is actually bottling Storm for us. I am beginning to wonder if it is Alkame. I know they bottle the HighDrate line but the Storm seems to me is being kept pretty close to the vest so to speak.
I doubt there are many if any that have the direct shareholder involvement helping to promote the product like Kona. The crowdsourcing that is going on here is amazing and we are all drinking the Kona "kool aid" so to speak.
That is refreshing to hear, chsapeak. I have to admit it does surprise me in a pleasant way that they still get out and pound the pavements like that. I appreciate the input you have offered. It would be nice to see a little more on how the large distros are doing relative to their account base as well as how well it is being accepted.
Max, I agree with you about being "married" to this stock. People have to realize that as quickly as this is growing, no matter how great the management, there will be the occasional bump in the road. But, none of the bumps seem to be knocking us off the road nor giving us a flat tire. Kona is unstoppable on its current path as I see it.
Lemmi, you are correct on this and it would not surprise me if they had a little product availability issue in late May and early June as they were trying to stock the new warehouse. Just a guess on my part but that could have slowed the product revenues during the early part of this month. I was also expecting them to blow past the $600k revenues for the second quarter when they made that announcement you speak of.
Again, just a thought on my part.
Lemmi, you are bringing up a key question in my mind. We all start grinning from ear to ear when we hear about signing a new distributor and how many accounts they service. The bigger question to me is whether or not they make a valid push to get our product line to those account stores. To me a lot of these larger distributors only look at Kona as another product for them to have in their lineup and its almost like they just wait for the accounts they service to come to them and say "I want that product, do you stock it?". Look at the AB Distributors that we are signed with. We have been with them for months and I would be surprised if our product is in 20% of the stores they service. I would love to see what the AB reorder rates have been like.
To me, conversely the smaller distributors are much more aggressively marketing our product line and trying to get it into stores by doing things like giving the stores a few cases free to get in the door. They are turning out to be the real current backbone of this company. They are the ones that Kona should be bending over backwards to service and support as, at this point in time we are still small and unknown in the grand picture and these smaller distributors are the ones that are working at getting us the brand recognition we need.
Down the road, when we have the brand recognition, some of those large distributors will certainly prove helpful to us with getting the product to the stores but I just don't see them as making the effort that we would like to see right now.
Just my 2 cents worth
While I agree with you xray I must say that I am surprised that the Press Release today, which included revised projections about q2 revenues did absolutely nothing for the stock. Perhaps many are just waiting for the hard copy proof of it.
The way I read about the continuing saga Aston, is that late last year they hired in house bookkeepers then they fired the old accounting firm and replaced it with a new one. In my mind, the in house bookkeepers should have one job and that is to keep the books in order which should in turn make it much easier for the accounting firm to review and approve what the bookkeepers have done. With in house bookkeepers, I believe we should be much further along with respect to having fins ready to be filed and then filing them. Just my opinion though.
I agree about the flipping, Dragon,
There are some that just like to brag about their "flips and increasing shares" that it encourages others to try to do the same. Some that say they are so strong about the company just don't have a clue as far as I am concerned.
I think part of the problem is that we have no real volume
