I think JB is honest and hardworking too but I think he should flip the bill when it comes to our Vegas celebration.
For those feeling down today, I would suggest going back and reading the last 5 PRs about all the things going on. There's a lot of stuff in there and a pretty complex business model being developed. If it all comes to fruition, we shareholders should do pretty good. We all know we've been stuck in the mud for a while but hopefully, once we get loose, we can really start to move.
The OS has become really inflated again which will make it more difficult to move but hopefully, the buy back occurs and JB will work on reducing it further. Even at the current OS, the pps can still get up there.

I see the S3 roller coaster has many riders today. Welcome aboard. Please keep your arms and legs inside the coaster at all times and expect dramatic peaks and valleys on your ride. Medication can be provided at a nominal fee or you may prefer to self medicate as most do.
Cheers,

Thanks Mike. Some notable parts:
"Our pipeline is focused on similar clients, so we hope to announce new revenue sources that are in-line with what was described above."
"This relationship calls for our design and manufacturing abilities to compliment one of the largest branding companies with clients worldwide. While the research and development of this project has taken longer than we originally expected, we still believe this to be considerable source of revenue in 2011 and beyond."
"We are already seeing the improvements with the Company posting a 3Q 2010 net income from Operations of $272,907 versus a loss $486,161 for the same period in 2009. On a year-to-date basis, the Company increased revenue by $1,539,962 and reduced its loss by $936,889 through 3Q 2010, compared to the same period in 2009.
This is the first positive quarterly net income from Operations that the Company has ever posted.
The statements made by some here that this is the best Cyberlux has ever looked are accurate. That's a pretty darn good turnaround.
Good to hear from ol' Schmidty.
2011 should be interesting,

Hold on to your hat Mike!! We will be increasing our speed significantly to 10 cents.

Much thanks Karen. I started going up the hill on the S3 roller coaster today while I was reading through the most recent PRs trying to find the one on the company's re-branding. There's a lot of really good stuff in them which got my positives flowing again.
Sure hope the next update has lots of great things in there but one good one would be enough.

WORLDWIDE?
"The immediate injection of funding will increase shareholder equity while strengthening Ambient's financial profile for the next phase of the strategic initiatives we began in early 2010," stated John J. Joyce, "Over the past two years we have grown into a leadership position in the emerging smart grid infrastructure market, and as a leader, our balance sheet needs to reflect the stability and strength we have developed."
Continued Joyce, "The investment will also allow us to continue to roll out new product lines, for which we have already received orders, and to maintain our strong position from a product perspective in the rapidly evolving smart grid market."
A recognized innovator in the migration to "smart," two-way communicating electric grids, Ambient designs and develops core infrastructure and network management platforms for forward-thinking utilities worldwide.
Sounds good.

A couple things:
If I had no hope in S3, I would sell and take a tax write off. But unless you have capital gains, you're only getting about 1/3 of your money the way I figure it. Writing off a $50k loss will take 16+ years to write off and in the end you've basically written off $16k since it's not a 1:1 ratio of lost money to your reduction in taxes.
The S3 website thing could be good or bad. The company has alluded to a re-branding of the company which could be a name change to better reflect it's association with the Redwood subsidiaries. At least, that's what most here are thinking/hoping. As of today, it's hard to connect the dots of all the Redwood Capital and Redwood Medical stuff back to S3 since they seem like separate entities. Hopefully, they're changing the name and designing a new website to reflect this and they are letting the s3investments.com domain expire.
"Our focus on Redwood Capital, The Redwood Asia Fund, and Redwood Medical also provides us with the impetus to undertake the planned re-branding of S3 under the Redwood name. We expect to announce the specifics of this initiative very shortly."

Redwood Capital CEO Jones Bickel Speaks with Yuji Iwasaki in Mongolia
I don't know if someone has posted this and It's from last July but it's JB. JB is the older gent on the right and Totty is the guy on the left. Most here have never seen JB.

I thought you wanted something else besides the "evil and deceptive" Cyberlux website to show their partnership.
"Sacred Power? Anyone? It's on the Cyberlux website."
"Next thing that you know is Cyberlux will say that they are working on joint projects with Sacred Power! Wait a minute - they do in fact imply that on their website. When was that? Two years ago?"
Seemed you wanted proof besides CYBL's site. You're alluding to the idea that their partnership was a lie by saying "imply".
They're not implying, they're making a statement backed up by Sacred Power and Sandia National Laboratories.
I think you just want to complain which is fine but I was trying to give you some facts if you were actually trying to see if it was just "implied" or was real.

Sacred Power and Cyberlux plan to light up battlefields
This is from Sacred Powers website and I have confirmed it.
New Mexico Business Weekly - by Kevin Robinson-Avila NMBW Staff
Sacred Power Corp. has forged a partnership with Cyberlux Corp. in North Carolina to provide advanced lighting for conflict zones that uses renewable energy.
Sacred Power — an American Indian-owned company headquartered at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque — provides fully assembled solar systems to power homes, buildings and other installations in remote locations.
Cyberlux sells energy-efficient advanced lighting systems for use by the military.
The two signed a manufacturing, sales and distribution partnership in early November to integrate Cyberlux lights into Sacred Power solar systems. The fused product will provide sustainable lighting for the military, and eventually for other public and private entities, said Cyberlux President and CEO Mark Schmidt.
“We’ll supply the lighting technology and Sacred Power will provide its ruggedized, tried-and-true solar technology to allow the Department of Defense to deploy lighting solutions without the need for costly fuel,” Schmidt said. “It could have far-reaching implications for forward-based operations and check points for the military.”
The partners have an initial $50,000 DOD contract, channeled through Sandia National Laboratories, to build a prototype, said Sacred Power President and CEO David Melton.
“The first units will be sent to Sandia for prototype testing, and then to Fort Irwin in California for field testing,” Melton said. “Depending on the testing, it could be deployed in Afghanistan.”
Sales for battlefield deployment are not guaranteed, said John Spiller, a support contractor for the military’s Power Surety Task Force at Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
“The contract is just for a prototype to get a couple of systems out there to prove the concept,” Spiller said. “We’ll let folks kick the tires a bit, and if they like it, it would sell itself.”
Spiller said the new product could save money.
“The military currently uses energy-efficient LED lighting in remote places that run on batteries,” Spiller said. “We use six batteries for every light, which by itself is not a big deal, but if you have, say, 1,000 lights, then you need 6,000 batteries. For economies of scale, we need renewable energy, such as solar power, to replace the batteries with more advanced fuel cells that can be charged with solar energy during the day.”
In places where the military uses fossil fuel to power such systems, renewable energy will offset expensive gasoline, Schmidt said.
“Gasoline or diesel delivered to the front line can cost upwards of $300 per gallon,” Schmidt said. “This would eliminate the need for that fuel for situational lighting.”
Eventually, the partners expect to sell the system to other government entities, and to civilian contractors, said Sacred Power co-owner Odes Armijo-Caster.
“I could see the border patrol using this to light up remote border regions,” Armijo-Caster said. “On the civilian side, I believe this technology could replace current lighting systems in the film industry for movie sets. It could also provide alternative lighting for construction sites on highways.”
Sacred Power is the prime contractor in the partnership with Cyberlux, Melton said. Sacred Power will build the new units at its factory in Albuquerque and manage all sales and distribution.
Melton expects to hire between five and 10 more employees next year to manage the increased workload. The firm currently employs 20 people.
The company also wants to move from its current, 8,000-square-foot factory at 815 Bellamah NW, south of I-40, to a new location to accommodate growth. The firm needs between 12,000 and 20,000 square feet of space, Melton said.
Sacred Power, which formed in 2001, reached $3.6 million in sales in 2007. Melton expects sales to top $4 million this year.
I thought we already covered this topic months ago. I have also called Sacred Power and spoke to them but they couldn't say much expect that they and Cyberlux were testing products.

BOYUAN BEGINS NEW US$10.9 MILLION RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
S3 owns shares in Boyuan
TORONTO, Jan. 4 /CNW/ - Boyuan Construction Group, Inc., (TSX: BOY & BOY.DB) a fast-growing construction company in China of commercial, residential and municipal infrastructure projects, announced today that it has initiated the building of a 60,000 square meter residential project on Hainan Island valued at US$10.9 million. The project is located in a planned tourism district that will support China's International Tourist Destination Policy for Hainan Island. The new district is located approximately 30 kilometres from Sanya, a city where Boyuan has had operations for four years.
"This latest contract win further validates our decision to select Hainan Island as one of our primary markets," said Mr. Cai Liang Shou, Chairman of Boyuan Construction Group. "Not only are there significant opportunities to build tourism-related projects such as hotels and resorts, we are also capitalizing on the region's growing demand for residential and infrastructure projects that will support the development of Hainan as a major international tourist destination by 2020."
The new project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of calendar 2011.
Launched in 2009, China's International Tourist Destination Policy is aimed at fostering Hainan Island's economic growth and development. Sorry to hear that TenSeven. I guess you're our first casualty of 2011. I agree with everything you said. JB is just atrocious when it comes to creating shareholder value or an environment that's inviting to shareholders. Shareholders have to grind it out day by day to stay invested. He doesn't communicate well and when he does, he doesn't follow up on what he's communicated.
There's so many things going on with this company that it's hard for me to leave but that could be part of the scam. S3 is not doing well right now but, of course, there's always that "hope" of better days ahead that JB seems to always have hanging out there for investors.
I don't know how long it has been since we've heard from our ring leader but it seems like forever and nothing has happen for months and months now. Like Holter, it does me no good to sell but the S3 roller coaster ride has taken me on another down day in my sentiment toward JB and everything S3.
When/if news hits, it better be a wallop.
Please stop back once in a while and poke fun at us that are still sitting around hoping for a miracle and saying great things are about to happen....

HTDS may still own ENHD shares: (Going Private)
A publicly held company is potentially eligible to convert to exclusively private ownership when it reduces the number of its shareholders to fewer than 300. Depending on the facts and circumstances, the company may no longer be required to file reports with the SEC once the shareholder total drops below 300.
A number of transactions can result in a company converting to private ownership, including:
* Another company or individual makes a tender offer to buy all or most of the company’s publicly held shares;
* The company merges with or sells the company’s assets to another company; or
* The company can declare a reverse stock split that not only reduces the number of shares but also reduces the number of shareholders. In this type of reverse stock split, the company typically gives shareholders a single new share in exchange for a block—10, 100, or even 1,000 shares—of the old shares. If a shareholder does not have a sufficient number of old shares to exchange for new shares, the company will usually pay the shareholder cash based on the current market price of the company’s stock.
If the transaction is initiated by an affiliate (an insider) of the company, or the company could be deemed to be making an acquisition of its own shares Rule 13e-3 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 requires the affiliate and/or the company to file a Schedule 13E-3 with the SEC. When Rule 13e-3 applies, the company is said to be “going private” under SEC rules. While SEC rules don't prevent companies from going private, they do require companies to provide information to shareholders about the transaction that caused the company to go private. The company also may have to file a merger proxy statement or a tender offer document with the SEC.
The filing of a Schedule 13E-3 is also required when issuer-initiated or affiliated transactions result in a company’s publicly held securities no longer being traded on a national securities exchange or an inter-dealer quotation system, such as Nasdaq.
The Schedule 13E-3 requires a discussion of the purposes of the transaction, any alternatives that the company considered, and whether the transaction is fair to all shareholders. The Schedule also discloses whether and why any of its directors disagreed with the transaction or abstained from voting on the transaction and whether a majority of directors who are not company employees approved the transaction.
Going private transactions require shareholders to make difficult decisions. To protect shareholders, some states have adopted corporate takeover statutes that provide shareholders with dissenter's rights. These statutes provide shareholders the opportunity to sell their shares on the terms offered, to challenge the transaction in court, or to hold on to the shares. Once the transaction is concluded, remaining shareholders may find it very difficult to sell their retained shares because of a limited trading market.

No, I don't. I'm like you and have heard the doomsdayers on message boards saying a company could go private and screw over all the shareholders. I would think there would be rules against such a thing but the SEC doesn't have a lot of teeth on most things that hurt shareholders.
I sure hope there's not such a thing because that's pretty scary.
If I find something, I will post it here but I think I've searched around on the legalities of such a thing and didn't come up with any definitive answer.

S3 I think still holds shares is ENHD:
Form 15 - Rule 12g-4(a)(1)
Rule 12g-4 -- Certifications of Termination of Registration Under Section 12(g)
a 1. Termination of registration of a class of securities under section 12(g) of the Act shall take effect 90 days, or such shorter period as the Commission may determine, after the issuer certifies to the Commission on Form 15 (17 CFR 249.323) that the class of securities is held of record by:
1. Less than 300 persons; or
2. Less than 500 persons, where the total assets of the issuer have not exceeded $10 million on the last day of each of the issuer's most recent three fiscal years.
2. The issuer's duty to file any reports required under section 13(a) shall be suspended immediately upon filing a certification on Form 15; Provided, however, That if the certification on Form 15 is subsequently withdrawn or denied, the issuer shall, within 60 days after the date of such withdrawal or denial, file with the Commission all reports which would have been required had the certification on Form 15 not been filed. If the suspension resulted from the issuer's merger into, or consolidation with, another issuer or issuers, the certification shall be filed by the successor issuer.

Yeah, scary with all the rain and crazy drivers. I've always liked JB which is why I've stuck with S3 for all these years. I've never had a problem liking him. I've just been unhappy with the lack of results from all the possibilities that he's outlined. We don't know that the details are and the economy stinks so it can't be easy.
Happy Holidays to all my good friends at the S3 board. I usually speak my mind and that changes frequently around here but I enjoy everyone here and have made some great internet friends over the years. Hopefully, someday we can all meet in person with great returns from our S3 investment and laugh about all this craziness. It's definitely not out of the realms of possibilities.
Whatever you celebrate during this time of year, make the most of it and enjoy yourselves.
Sloth
Yes, Karen I would like to know too and Holter it would be great to get confirmation that they're doing what they said. I still think there's a lot of doubt and mistrust by the market toward S3. They have treated shareholders very poorly over the years and like any abusive relationship, it takes a long time to heal those wounds and regain trust.
Getting confirmation about the buy back would help the healing process a bit. We need much more than that but if we can start regaining trust in JB then we can put more credence in his words and the company's PRs about future clients, negotiations and general business matters.
Sloth
Absolutely, I'll keep you updated. I'll pass along your post and info to the private Yahoo board on which I talk to Kurt. If you would be interested in joining that group, I could tell Kurt who I think is the moderator and see if I can get you access. Most of the people there were formerly involved in World Gaming. There' not much discussion any longer about WG but it is still mostly talking about stocks.

My best to him, and no I sold my shares at 47c before the bottom fell out.
Thanks.

BUY, BUY, BUY.
Yes Merry Xmas to you also. I am in contact with him occasionally through the internet but I'm not sure if he still holds his shares. I passed along your post and will let you know if I hear back from him. He may even show up here to respond.
I still own my shares and I still have WGMGY on my watch list and know that shares are commonly traded each week. There were some months where large amounts of shares were traded but it's been pretty thin lately.
Thanks for the link to the administration.
I guess we can hope that someone uses the company as a shell. I know the old url or worldgaming.com is now for online video gaming. It does me no good to try to sell my shares and take the loss at this time. I think that's what most did back in 2006? when it went into administration.
Keep in contact here because I still have WG on my favorite list and check messages. There can't be too many of us around.

11 days left in 2010. S3, once again, has underperformed for another year. Will 2011 be more of the same or will S3 surprise us all and do something. Anything.
I want to be positive but this has been the norm for 5 years for me. I'm wishing that it's not another year of hope but hope is all I have in regards to S3 because it sure ain't a profit.
Sloth
You can't hear me but I'm yelling, "S3 will make me rich, S3 will make me rich" and waving my arms over my head right now like one of those arm-waving, air-generated guys outside the electronics store.
Come on, everyone join in. People at work won't care.
Sloth
Doesn't seem too smart in S3's case but then again I'm not an accountant nor do I have access to anything regarding S3's finances (I don't think we'll be told anything the way things are going).
I do like the post since it opens up some discussion which this board has had absolutely none of because the company is in hiding the last six months.
I sure hope we hear some kind of update to give us bagholders something to rattle in our bags.
Happy Friday.
Keep wishing because it sounds good.
Tis the season to have faith so why not with S3. I figure something has got to give here sooner or later to start a strong upward trend.
Years in the making so it better be really strong and make my pockets bulge.

BOYUAN EXPANDS INTO NEW MARKET WITH NEW US$27 MILLION CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Dec. 13, 2010 (Canada NewsWire Group) --
- Market expansion due to growing demand in Hainan Province -
TORONTO, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - Boyuan Construction Group, Inc., (TSX: BOY & BOY.DB) a fast-growing construction company in China of commercial, residential and municipal infrastructure projects, announced today that it has expanded into Boao, an emerging city in Hainan Province, and has initiated two residential construction projects with a Hong Kong-based property developer. The aggregate value of the two projects is US$27 million.
"Our decision to expand into Boao is due to a number of factors," said Mr. Cai Liang Shou, Chairman of Boyuan Construction Group. "It allows us to build on our previous work, relationships and reputation in the surrounding region. Equally important, the city is rapidly becoming a major centre for tourism and economic development, which we anticipate will lead to new opportunities for our construction and engineering services."
The first project, which will include the construction of 17 residential villas with a total area of 13,000 square meters, is valued at US$3 million. The project, which was begun earlier in 2010, is expected to be completed by the end of the current calendar year.
The second project will consist of the construction of a 29-storey residential building with a total area of 88,000 square meters. The US$24 million project, which is currently underway, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of calendar 2012.
Located in Hainan Province, Boao is home to Boao Forum for Asia, the most prestigious and premier forum for leaders in government, business and academia in Asia. The Forum is committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries even closer to their development goals. Hainan Province is China's largest special economic zone and one of Boyuan's primary markets.
