Don't mean to butt in here but his post was far from serious. If you take his advice and "OBSERVE" you will see that he is a fair weather poster ie, when things are good he is supportative, when bad he is a basher. Just the way he is. Seems to me that he really has no position at all, just likes to post. This is in no way meant to be critical, just an "OBSERVATION".
Positive Performance, Performance, Performance, IMO
There appears to be a lot of changes to the GTEM Web Site. Look under Investor relations "Fundamentals". Also, no more listings of BOD and Company members, at least I can't find them anymore. Things are changing on the web site, IMO.
ADDED: Also, all future shows where GTEM was to exhibit or attend have been deleted and are no longer shown.
Griff100, I agree and I think they just wanted to make 1 change. Also, if Rob doesn't know the difference after the NR on the 11th, we are all in deep ----(fill in the blanks) I expect a NR on the move to the OTCBB shortly, particularily with this web site update today. Just IMO
griff100, look at the Investor section of the GTEM Web site - it was just changed today from AMEX to OTCBB. So I suspect that we will soon be trading on the OTCBB as mentioned in the GTEM New Release on the 11th. Take a look at the Web Site and see what you get from this.
Jim this is from the News Release and why I'm confused:
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL — OCTOBER 11, 2006 — GlobeTel Communications Corp. today announced that shares of its stock now trade on the Pink Sheets under the symbol GTEM. The Company will keep its shareholders informed of the date on which trading will commence on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board
Danielle; Thanks for your private email ref OTCBB. I am no longer a suscriber so unable to respond through private email. I have gotten mixed response about the Pinks vs OTCBB as everyone has a different opinion. When I look at the GTEM Web site and see the change from AMEX to OTCBB I wonder if we are not going to the OTCBB. Some posters say the Pinks are the same as the OTCBB so I don't know. Maybe someone can give some guidence here.
Pit - that's my take and reason for question. Also my buy orders now being rejected - any ideas?
The reason I'm asking is that the GTEM website just changed to note that we trade on the OTC BB. Does that indicate we are moving to the OTC BB or does that mean the pinks?
Pit, need a serious answer - are pinks different from the OTC BB?
Are the pinks referred to as the OTC BB?
Are the pinks referred to as OTC BB?
The truth - a concept which appears to escape a lot of bashers posting to this board recently.
Please supply the documentation as to showing that the time and money have run out. That would surely help a lot of us on this board make a decision. Are you privy to Caterham's BOD or Management that you have such vital information, you know like insider info? It would really help if you could tell us who to talk with inside Caterham to verify your points. Also, please provide some guidance to us as to what seems to be inside info from GTE that the Strat will take too much additional money. That would also be most helpful. In addition, where or who can we ask about this "distress sale"? Wow, that would really help sort things out. TIA
Probably because they don't want to respond to whinners and bashers who are emailing them with garbage questions and making false and misleading comments. Also, they would be critized by the bashers of spending too much money on something considered unimportant - you know, no win. Bet 3 out of 5 responses would be considered excellent if it was IBM or Dell. They wouldn't give investors the time of day. GTEM, as little as they are, does a great job trying to get back to most shareholders and are to be commended for their efforts.
I have also received several email replies over the last month from both R. Bleckman and T. Huff. Don't see the point about they never respond. And BTW, I don't know either one of them.
Nothing wrong - I use Schwab and no trades. Let me rephrase that - nothing wrong that I can see on my Schwab screen, just no trades
Nope, maybe the shorters are out of shares
mide, first mistake you made was addressing him as "Sir" instead of "Basher". BTW, please don't waste any replies to this poster. We who have invested in GTEM appreciate your getting information to share. Those who mean GTEM harm will never quit and it is a waste of your time engaging in any responses. Nothing will stop these people who want GTEM to fail. Thanks again for your information.
In public companies when s_ _t hits the fan it goes all over. At this point, sounds like the fate of Dumas is unknown at this time - he is stepping down to become a director on the board as noted in mide's post. If so, he may stay as long as Huff remains in the company - but IMO he most likely will move on, but who knows.
Mt bigsky, I totally agree, that Strat will stay and continue in development. A lot of the posts are hoping that GTE tanks completely. And all the post about BK is designed to instill doubt in Investors. Wonder why?
My point is that it was GOOD that Jones name was NOT mentioned anywhere in the NR (along with CEO and BOD's etc), so I hope he is staying and good Strat news will follow in the next months.
griff100, sorry I don't see Jones name anywhere in the NR - where is he mentioned? TIA
mide, that's about as good an answer as possible. Only time will prove what will happen now and no guesses will help anyone at this point. I thought it was interesting that Jones was not mentioned in the NR.
DocS - how about from your keyboard to Huffs ears/eyes or whatever else it takes to get a NR? LOL
testekleez, what service are you using for these level II displays. Also, thanks for posting today this information. TIA
Nope - just better than .31 or .20 or .00
mide, maybe it goes up because no one is shorting the c--p out of the stock. But whatever is the reason we are now at .40 I'm happy with. I realize that there will be a lot of swing traders etc, but that's normal, IMO.
We are at .40 - not bad huh?
Guys, Look at the bight side this morning - we hit .32, higher than we closed on the AMEX, we no longer have Streicher as our specialist (yea) and we don't have to contend with what I view as a crooked exchange. Talked to my broker this morning and he told me that the AMEX has a lot of serious problems. He said even though they are trying to clean up their operation, it's not pretty. That's all he would say on the issue.
tpaero, the next day or so should show us if there will be any transparency from GTE on operations. I think there is still hope that this thing will turn around, but only time will be the judge. I hope Huff now understands the need for information at this point to all the shareholders that support GTE. Also, thanks for good wishes and same to you and yours. Ken
For everyone's information, GTE has just removed the AMEX section from their website, I'm glad to report.
tpaero, thanks for catching my oversite. You are right on.
Jim, here's a suggestion. Short the stocks that the MF and NY Post bash. With their connections to those hedge fund buddies you may have a few sure winners. Just a thought. Of course this is IMO only.
You're just sad grashelm. You've been bashing GTE for so long you must feel lost as to what you will do now to fill up your time. A toast to you: "here's hoping we never hear from you again"
eqbeck, I don't think anyone is going to beat that one. LOL
mad201, I'll drink to that and I'm sure many more on this board would join in on that toast.
Nope - we won't have our wonderful specialist screwing GTE at every turn, IMO.
Amen to that. What a negative trip by a crooked exchange. And the specialist is just as bad if not worse. Hasta La Vista Baby.
