*something reminded me of something I forgot to say. Budget years can play havoc in both directions on purchasing. So if an agency or segment of an agency doesn't have room in current FY, they wait for the new one to start.
And there are complications during gov shutdowns that screw up the acquisition process. People get really nervous heading up to those syand-offs, then can't do anything during them, then start executing on contracts like crazy when resolved in whatever manner (when they're able to spend again).
ZPaul - did some research on patents over the holiday. Am I right that if Authentify's patent and 698 are a Venn diagram, that 698 would be a large circle wholly encompassing Authentify's?
I noted that one outcome is that they'll never sue each other again. And the Authentify got bought.
After all the research I also think the keystroke encryption patent will prove nearly as valuable as 698.
Would love to hear your thoughts on any of this.
No doubt, I see one BIG FAT X in lifelock's column and I know what Identity Guard uses for the big green checkmark!
First lete say I appreciate your efforts and energy, truly.
So I'm in my 17th year of gov contracting, and the regular budget lines each agency, etc, carries even under CR is large, and available for large system purchases (in the past few months from one agency alone I've seen $800M, 3M, and unknown to me buy somewhere in the middle, which includes software and support). These are just what I've seen first hand, and same agency has purchased other systems.
There's money for a bulk purchase of a product like what SFOR offers. Also, it probably wouldn't start or even end agency wide, which is pretty rare, but rather offices, directorates, etc, within an agency (software companies make out like bandits this way).
All I'm saying is that the CR isn't an issue, it's awareness, which is what your efforts are going to.
The agencies, etc., still have their budgets under a CR. Especially something like software that SFOR sells can be purchased with existing budget amounts. Sure, a change for more can mean more room, but if it were deemed a need, the agency, Dept, etc, will buy it.
Teddy Allen knows

Well Teddy Allen at least used to be involved with SFOR. He, among other things, led DSCA for a tour. They're the DoD arm that sells military supplies and training to other countries (a very good program in many ways).
This is one aspect I wish SFOR would fix, no idea if this is current or not.

So how many more shares may there be behind the 3M from the conversion?
I'm holding. And added today. Would like to add more but everything else I hold is not moving enough to sell.
When is the 10k or NT expected? Tomorrow?
Of course - it doesn't mention manipulators
THIS is how these deals are made.
Yep, do a search on the page.
Never mind, I see the 2015 date. That takes a little shine off of it, but still nice to see.
Nice! Anyone know when this may have started? That would give insight into how long this has been in revenue or if it will really be showing up next round. They mentioned a substantial AP accounting line, and I imagine deals like this have a somewhat slow revenue pipe I.e., paid two months after a full month of services rendered.
Seems like it would be a good move.
It's high a few months ago
Nice bid wall
Yeah, but when we had the 50% rise a week or two ago a lot of small gain selling held it down. And IIRC there was a lot of vocal skepticism going on AT THE SAME TIME. This should be somewhat higher but shenanigans keep it down.
Yes
Um, that's the retail price. I'm guessing you're not up to speed with retail vs. wholesale.
I concur. It's small but another thing on the list is that the company has at least two URLs, one with the new design one with the old. Then there's one specifically for GuardedID that has good info but am not sure is still current. How basic is this to fix? Fix the domain pointers at no cost and be done by this afternoon.
Still long SFOR, even at current prices.
Yep, put up a bid wall.
Lol
Hopefully a reset so that it's closer to where it should be; post -hype and -fear/manipulation.
Open till 1pm, I believe.
Not by the company.
Bring it
Why? Until anything is settled one way or the other Duo can execute as normal, and why wouldn't they? This would be something they've been working on and planned to release.
I'm coming around to this line of thinking. There's some great stuff coming, but let's not waste opportunities for good press.
Also, so if we only account for natural growth (not settlement/BO), why not work to raise the base to at least closer to where it should currently be? Come on, stick it above a penny again. I think a bit of PR could really help. It's a great story here.
I'm not banking on anything BIG happening anytime soon, but something BIG could happen at any time.
Can be a quandry
Meanwhile someone is running it here to dump into another one...
The money-go-round.
Hmm. I wonder...
SFOR
I agree that discussion of the video isn't that important and I didn't think there was bad news in it. I am more confident in what I've said before in that he wants this to grow for the right reasons and at the time there was too much hype. Execution was poor, and if I were to ask it would be a question lower on my list and more about the execution (why did he kind of look sickly).
Thank you.
Were any of the questions about the video?
Obviously not a guarantee but you're missing my point. Singapore owns Trust wave. BTW, they must be pissed to have bought something that may be dependent on someone else's patent.
Anyway, if they see that THEY are going to lose, just buy it out instead, and pick up litigation on the others. So, if in discovery they see this, a trigger could be pulled.
Someone who may lose current litigation, especially when it looks like SFOR will win.
Fits with expectations but where did this come from?
We may not be able to hear of some deals, if not most. Especially with a product dealing with security. DoD, Census, IRS, etc, won't let this be advertised. Probably the same with commercial clients as well.
Earnings show what's going on. And if there are any deals announced there are probably more that haven't been announced.
