What's causing $WDLF's skyrocket?
Currently riding free shares. Well, I rebought on dip to 13 but all free.
Because it's not who buys the ticker but the simple fact that the ticker sold and a RM happened. At that point, it goes from nothing more than a ticker symbol to an "ongoing concern" with real assets.
Personally, I'm not "buying" into the RM company. I'm buying something that I know Lazar will sell for a profit. I will exit soon after the RM. Maybe even before if the PPS hits my target prices. (Yes, I know, leaving money on the table ... but also avoids the risk of an RM AND 1:5000 RS.)
So, what are your current holdings/picks?
Yes, you would be holding clean shares. Although, it does bring up interesting implications for the buyer(s) of those shares. My gut says that only the shares issued to friends and family are going to be terminated. Otherwise, we are all holding "old" shares via our trades.
Any repurchase of a ticker within 30 days is considered a wash sale. Typically, this is to prevent people from creating an artificial loss for tax purposes. Not sure how it affects long term holds. I SUSPECT the original purchase date remains unchanged but consult a tax expert.
Precisely my point.
He's petitioning the court to extinguish the 6.2 shares that were illegally issued to friends and family. A CEO can't just hand out shares like candy, there must be some quid-pro-quo. The recipient must have done SOMETHING to "earn" the shares or traded something of value. That didn't happen in this case.
There is something called a lie of omission. So, I notice you said "Feb 13" but there was no year. What YEAR did that happen?
Mustang, good catch. The last "German" ruler of the Swiss was about 800 years ago.
Why do you think he made the money here? One can buy stocks internationally. He could have done all of the trades through GDRs and the Swiss equivalent of ADRs.
Mr. Roth is a Swiss citizen, living in Switzerland. I don't think he pays US taxes.
Not for OTC; only the big boards.
Sympathy doesn't always mean sadness. In its broadest sense, it means similar feeling.
Another Lazar shell (SIP*) got bought. News hit about 10:30a. A lot of other Lazar shells got a sympathy bump.
Please provide evidence of what you speak.
What are $GOFF timeframes. Any scheduled court dates?
The company they thought they were buying is not publicly traded. Somebody heard a news blurb on TV, did a quick search and bought. Dumped $250K into a penny stock.
Horst, I like you and very much appreciate the DD you have done but, seriously, you've never engaged in a bit of water-cooler talk? Just we need to talk about $BRRN but the commission discussion was a quick sideline. And, quite frankly, I appreciated it because I learned a couple thing along the way. A side discussion, now and again, isn't going to hurt the board.
So, this is now an acquisition and holding company. Just became a long term hold for me. Every time they acquire another company, the PPS will get a bump and FiveT LIKES to acquire companies or, at least, major holdings in them. Now, it looks like they are moving from large, partial interest to the whole company. Maybe, in a way, using the Berkshire Hathaway model.
It's not the long's who will be selling; it's all of those people who bought between 11am and 11:15.
$WDDD spiked on a case of mistaken identity. Spiked up 100% in a half hour. Now fallen to close to open. Will probably fall further as those rushing to buy "the hot stock with the Covid test" want out at any cost.
Different people, not our Founders. "Worlds Inc. co-founders Dave Copps and Chris Rohde". From https://today.tamu.edu/2020/11/19/texas-am-system-worlds-inc-collaborate-on-covid-19-breathalyzer/
I wonder if the mistaken identity will cause a price drop below .20 as people realize they didn't by a bio-tech company and want out at whatever they can get.
Sad that this may cause a price crash. Not wishing or hoping that will happen.
Nobody needs to buy the shares that are going to be cancelled. Lazar is going to do that by court action. Also, the anticipation is that about 6 billion shares will be cancelled.
Gringo, look for mid 20s late spring. Back to 6s by June.
Why? It's doing what it's historically done and you knew that this would happen.
Darn, I was hoping to pick up some 2s to average down.
Doesn't look like we will break 26 until news.
Trips to pennies. Good catch!
Does the pivot at 26 mean if we break that we are off to the races to resistance point at 46 or to the next pivot of 56?
Triple Zeros again? I sure hope so. Come to PAPA! I need a few more milly.
Be patient, see this post.
XMET following TNSP's pattern
PSP32, Just bide your time. Buy when we get to 4 and trade others in the mean time. 4 to 24 was a good return last time.
Anyone have experience holding or following a stock that went from the PK to a Big Board?
What did you say that came true? Yes, we are down but for other reasons. And, and this is the most important part, the show ain't over. The RS was to move a trip stock to whole dollars. Let's see where FiveT, a company with a lot of experience doing million dollar deals, takes us.
From David Lazar's Blog The reason this is a good ticker by Lazar himself.
h/t to BoostedMoney who discovered this first.
$CBBT has legs and I love the PKG acquisition but, for the life of me, I cannot envision any scenario where the filings were not done because of GOOD news. Not saying it was bad news. I'm shooting for standard news not reported due to a technical accounting issue. These are legal documents and filing the wrong numbers can be worse than not filing.
The math is incorrect but the sentiment is not.
For the math part.
$1 + 100% gain ($1) = $2
$2 - 40% loss ($2*0.40=$0.80) = $1.20
$1 to $1.20 is a 20% gain.
Still good but the original calculation was off.
