Reverse: 78% = 7-2 Singer appeal wins.
Remand: 8%
Affirm: 7%
Settle:7%
Thanks Hamoa, 6/26 can’t get here fast enough
The refocused attention today by the board was a 180 from all the incessant jive about generic Vascepa on Saturday and Sunday board posts. It was the worst collective heap of doom and gloom. Total Eyeore mentality. I remember no one being too concerned with the generic opening briefs last year, and their law firm. The next 10 days shall be most educational.
I caught the video link on Twits earlier this morning. I apologize for not acknowledging poster. That board is toxic most of the time, but there are bits of help there.
If the briefs really do hold as much weight as noted, then it’s conceivable a decision could be made by the 3 judge panel after reviewing such documents..Singer gets the last word in with his final reply brief on 6/26. Couple the Singer briefs with the Bhatt papers (remains to be seen if the judges get to see them) and I’m hard pressed to see how the generics win this a second time..based on everything posted here by mitra, marjac, meow, hamoa, JL, North, RAF, MS83, HK, ggw, HDG,etc.
Very interesting...approx 6% of appeals actually get to oral arguments. This according to a 4th Circuit Judge in the accompanying video at around 17.5 minutes in. Worth a listen to.
The importance is in the briefs filed by both sides. I’ll stay positive with Singer and co. on our side.

Megc, Thanks for posting this. A good one to end the night on.
It still reeks of swamp like waters when that shill got time on CNBC (courtesy of Cramer) for the Gilead news several weeks ago, during after hours trading. STAT was given plenty of undeserved air during the quick stock rise, and also a few days later when it slid back. Total pump and dump scenario.
With regards to AMRN, he’s got an inferiority complex as if he designed EPA in his basement and is getting snubbed for any validation.
Once a #%+• , always a ...
Sorry Rose, I didn’t address that post as a new one and piggybacked on your post. This wasn’t meant to be an attack towards you, directly. You handled it well, and I wish you a nice weekend.
Let’s cut the crap about high fives, “Top Gun” volleyball style.
Highly doubtful it happened...especially in the court room.
The video is a helpful reminder to keep us focused on the opening brief. It seem the odds that Louise asked for would be stronger than 50/50 if we only need to prevail in one of the three main points Singer posted?
So it’s dead air until 6/16 or 6/22 (I’ve seen both dates tossed about)
And then the wait to learn the next available date for orals...July, August, or September? Even if it’s September, it’s probable that we’d get the decision by the end of the year. There’s no logical reason this goes into ‘21
Agreed TTE. What an extended patience test this investment has turned into. On another note.
I’m still in amazement how much dirty influence the STAT team has. They get air time on CNBC (apparently partners with the network, so says Scott Wapner when interviewing them) and move the markets with opinions, not scientific evidence.
How nostalgic of you to remind us. So thoughtful of you Richard.
Amen!
Marjac, your post deserves the record replies it is receiving today. Thoroughly impressed with your follow through. Thank you for your efforts in this waiting game we are now relegated to.
Typical reply from you STS. Always behind with your reading...and then you come back with ignorant, lame excuses. You’d do well to click off 10 posts at a time.
How many days saved in the 3 Judge decision are we talking about in regards to expedited appeals? Does it confirm decision is available by the end of ‘20, or is “first available” date just a luck of the draw in the end?
Thank you for the follow up. The two letters d&u together will forever be etched in my mind as a costly and timely reminder of this senseless legal charade.
If there’s one more thing that also needs to be learned, and put to rest, it is the subject of whether AMRN chose Nevada as their choice of venue, or was it done for them. Perhaps a law dog can opine on how this site was selected, and by whom. Inquiring minds want to know.
Don't you remember 114M shares being traded on 3/31? Lots of funds either initiated or bought more that day... "technically". Not a tough sell to the boss at all.
I believe the word "holistic" was used 5-6 times in the conference call, as seen in the transcript a day later.
I'm still curious to learn what "capsule franchise" (from JT April cc) will entail.
And another topic: The mention of hearing about expedited appeal decision sure didn't materialize "within a week or two", as stated in same conference call.
A worthy read of trial info. Thanks for posting.
As in BP, collectively, is in this together to slow down Vascepa? Not obvious to me. All you need is one buyer, just like in real estate. It doesn't take multiple players to do a deal. Nothing I've said is new or enlightening.
BTW...I'll also sell all my shares at the current "Ask" of $29 (in the lower right corner of this page) if one wants to contact me.
I know it's wishful thinking, but one could argue that Amarin ( anti inflammatory aspects) deserved a Stat story more so than Remdesivir. Herpes and Fart won't be scribbling any pro Vascepa notes anytime soon. Goons
Definitely not a known going into today. If allowed, then that's how we'd get the possible decision by late summertime.
Today is the end of the second week ( " in a week or two") when Thero said we'd hear about expedited appeal possibility.
Question is: Do we learn about court decision today or next week or..?
You're a good egg, Hamoa. Have a great weekend. Appreciate the posts, as always.
I'll attribute Wednesday's move of 5.96 to 6.40 to your posts during late morning/ afternoon trading. Ham the market mover. Much appreciation towards you lately. I want to add mine. Thank you.
Give the drug some time, tin man.
Ignorance doesn't play well with you.
It's not two years for an appeal. We'd find out next April/May
Everyone owes it to themselves to listen to the Jeffries call. Take a walk and the 57 minutes goes by quick.
LBL, Labner posted earlier that someone on Yahoo stated the USPTO could/can overrule Du's decision?
What say you?
Most appreciative profits 101. Here's to all of our AMRN profits..soon.
10-20 million cases in the US? I'll take the under
You do know that 10,000,000 cases just in the US 'might' result in 100,000 deaths, assuming the 1% factor. More than likely it's less than that. Fauci isn't predicting numbers, especially in the US. Stop your fear mongering.
Too many delicate snowflakes.
For those of us where CNBC, the internet and old fashion newspapers aren't readily available, we thank you for your refi PSA. The gift that keeps on giving.
