Did you know that BKYI technology is also being used by the FBI through it relationship with Morpho/Sagem?
The fact that the FBI chose the solution that has BIO-key technoogy embeded is very significant.
Checked out the website for 2FA, They look like a big deal, this could be good for a change. Maybe even spectacular
This is outstanding news from bio key this morning, I think this thing is really going to take off now.
At this price, I'm buying more.
After rereading this press release, I have to ask questions about the exclusivity of bio key and Microsoft.
The press release indicates that bio key was the only fingerprint sensor manufacture on the tour, but it doesn't indicate whether we're the only fingerprint sensor manufacturer that can work with Microsoft. What exactly is so exclusive here? I'm concerned because after such an outstanding press release about a relationship between Microsoft and bio key. we can't seem to trade any shares at all. I take that to mean that this exclusivity is not so exclusive and tremendously meaningless.
Is there really any meat and substance to this Microsoft /BioKey relationship or is it just a good PR peace? Of course more accurately, it would be a PR piece that has insignificant results for bio Key
What is it really going to take in order to gain some traction and price appreciation in the value of the stock?
By the way, isn't this the third time we've announced the same news?
Somewhere along the line, I missed how much revenue was associated with this press release and with this windows 10 launch.
How much did we receive in orders relative to how much we paid Microsoft to be part of the program?
Wake me up when we sell something.
Sean, I may be confused about what your point was but make no mistake about what my point is. At the 14 years of believing that we were on the cusp of greatness, I find we sink lower and lower and value and market cap. The next reverse split which I believe will be at the extremes, will send the stock into junk status. Too many years of promises that never come to fruition.
Year after year, the message is, next year will be our year. We were told that the last reversed was going to solve all of our problems, clearly it didn't.
Where is the accountability to the shareholders? Since the old shareholders no longer valid or significant, I guess the accountability is strictly to the new ones.
Our greatest hope is that management hires some firm to do a pump and dump so us old guys can get the hell out. Trading between zero shares and 7500 shares a day isn't going to allow anybody to be able to get out the stock.
I believed in this company, its product and its management for way too long and that was my mistake.
Wick, what is really distressing about what's going on at bio key is that I see no clear light at the end of the tunnel. I think this whole deal linking up with the Chinese was nothing more than a bail out by management and the end of the common Long time BioKey shareholder.
We have lost control of the company and the management has no significant position of ownership. Fact is they don't even have an insignificant position. I believe I still own well over 10 times the number of shares all insiders hold combined.
Investor interest in this company is so bad that Only a very small number of bio key shareholders even bothered to vote last week. To be honest with you I never even bothered opening the proxy material.
What a disappointment for the so-called leaders in the biometric industry.
70% of my investment now down the toilet. Nothing for me to get excited about here anymore.
Let me try and help both you guys out. I think it would've been nice and a real boost for this company if they were able to secure business through Apple. That's what we had been led to believe for many years that Apple was a key potential customer of ours and it never materialized.
Migrator concern is that we are in organization of roughly 20 people of which I think 19 of them are vice presidents and we can barely South $5 million worth of product. That's about $200,000 per employee. I wouldn't exactly call that a stunning metric to be excited about.
What's even worse, the market telling us that the stock at 7 1/2 or $.16 however you want to choose to acknowledge the last reverse split, tells us that they don't believe this company can sell anything of significance to anybody.
Where are the orders?
Where are the customer commitments?
What happened to IBM business?
Where's the CA business?
How about blood banks?
Where did the big banking job go that we were supposedly going to secure?
And there's no question that one of my greatest fears is that by the time we ever come close to securing any significant business, our technology will be obsolete.
One for 12 reverse split, it's the end. Reverse splits never end well.
Prove me wrong, I dare you.
Game over kids.
I would think the reader software that they use is the product they bought from Authentic as part of that package
Somebody wake me up when we actually sell something.
As far as I'm concerned, this company is finished. Chances we ever see $.30 again are probably slim to none. Even the insiders don't want to own any of the stock. My guess is the Chinese bought the company strictly for the intellectual property value. They paid about $.15 a share for it and that's probably not too far from what we are ever going to see.
The reverse split will bury the rest of the company. Sorry gang but just reality. I have never seen a reverse split ever fare well.
Check out NXTD
$.20 two weeks ago, $1.20 today what an outstanding pump and dump for a company that has a worthless product, next to no sales and probably no real future. BKYI should hire those PR, people, they have done great job selling a bunch of hot air and getting a lot of money.
Congrats to the Longs,
This is the best pump and dump I've seen in years, only disappointment is that I didn't jump into it, Oh well it'll crash soon anyway maybe I can hit it on the short side, See to be successful you actually have to sell something.
What is your point top? Six years later biokey has zero business, zero print position and near zero sales
If bkyi is so important and strategicly positioned, why are we valued a a near all time low?
Where is the failure? Who is to blame? SHAREHOLDERS MAYBE
THIS COMPANY HAS LOST ALL CREDABILITY, THAT IS THE FAILURE.
And you want to know the worst part, we shareholders have lost controle of the company. The chinese now own biokey, the upcomng vote ts meaningless
You talked about the Motorola and LG opportunity that never came to fruition because the sensors were no good. Who's sensors did they use, authentic? If they were in fact authentic, somehow Apple seem to decide to buy them because they were good enough to put on every iPhone made. I don't know that answer but maybe you can shed some light on it.
Sorry I forgot to reply to your most important comment on your last post and that question was "who should I believe most about the future by me or all of them"
I think you should believe me. The reason is quite simple management has come up with lofty projections for the past 10 years and none of them have come true. I on the other hand said along time ago that the last reverse split was the kiss of death and I was 100% right we split the stock and lost 50% of our money. What do you thinks going to happen when we do a 12 for 1 reverse split, we will lose everything.
I think there's a very clear reason why management owns none of the stock. I think that's a question that every shareholder in this company should now be asking. I truly hope I am not only hundred percent wrong but I thousand percent wrong and have to eat crow at some point but right now I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Show me the orders, sell something.
Top, I know where to begin, let's start with FBI, that contract is probably eight years old by now and they have never once placed a reorder and I don't even think they filled out the first $250 million. Even worse, we gave it away, we really didn't get any decent money for it.
As far as all these other milestones you cited, all I want to know is, where the orders and so far I don't think we really book any. With all these so-called big opportunities, all we can seem to do is scrape together for million dollars in sales and maybe will get 5 million this year, that's pathetic. Quite honestly, people should be fired for this poor performance. Totally unacceptable.
You want to talk about interdigital, totally uneventful and most likely they don't even own any stock anymore, my bet is they sold it already. And more important what exactly did it do for us?
You know top seed, if you really want to cite all these opportunities it taken place over the last 10 years, how about site stuff but actually created business. Motorola God got nothing out of it in a digital gone got nothing out of it Microsoft has yet to place one penny's worth of orders as far as I know. Computer associates where is that business?
Sorry, but after 15 years of watching this failure and destroy over one third of $1 million and my investment. I think I'm entitled to see some real actionable progress.
This management owns none of the stock or at least none that they've actually bought on their own money. What kind of message does that send?
Yes I'm cranky, I want to see some accountability for this Poor performance and so far there has been none.
Unfortunately top seed, nobody missed the announcement, they just don't care and they don't believe any of it anyway.
We need to hire some stock promoters like the guys that NXTD hired. A totally worthless company with no sales and probably no prospects of ever selling anything yet their stock is trading at $.48. We on the other hand supposedly have $5 million in sales and we can't get $.15 for our stock.
Where is the disconnect?
I would vote to hire somebody to do a pump and dump before I would vote to approve another reverse split.
What ever happened to the bank???
A BIO-key press releas is like a tree falling in the forest,
If there is no one there to hear it, it doesn't make any sound. Doesn't look like anyone is listening any more.
What is the relavence of this feature or news?
What is the market potential?
No, we don't need a press release going out to current investors about things going on, we all know what's happening with this company. I'm talking about a press release that lets the rest of the world know that BIOkey is a biometric company that has potential.
Sometimes I get the feeling that this company wants to keep our activities quiet so investors must sell the stock off and insiders can buy at rock-bottom prices. Why else can you explain a total lack of information and publicity.
Maybe bio key will put out a press release indicating that there is some success with the FBI-NGI program and it's got bio key inside.
I guess not, that would require marketing to do something.
Traded at 6 1/2 cents this morning, nothing encouraging here.
Big deal, wake me up if somebody actually buys something from us.
I didn't get any holiday wishes from bkyi , I guess I'm on the naughty list.
Don'tgiveup24, I meant to ask you the other day, what is a golden cross?
Maybe we'll get lucky with bio key with a situation similar to that of WLSE.
Up from $.14 to a $1.40 in the past three days because of managements plan to take the company private. That's probably what management will do here at $.30.
I think this pump and dump is about finished. It'll see two cents shortly and then it's over.
The next big pump and dump will be bio key international, symbol BKY I. Look for it to go from $.18-$.30 in a relatively short time because there is a $.30 buyout offer
15 1/2 cents before it hits my target price.
Don'tgiveup24, my mistake, I forgot to account for the two-for-one reverse split so the good news is I'm only down a little over $300,000.
I expect the filing last week indicating the plans for reverse split will wind up being a 1:12 reverse split. I don't think there's any chance it'll be any lower. I also fully anticipate that once that split takes effect the stock will plummet again by at least 50%.
I seem to recall the last time we did that One for two reverse split, I said it was the kiss of death. I guess I wasn't too far off the mark from that comment was I? Let's face it, we're trading at about $.08-$.09 a share right now.
I hate to say it and face the realization but I think this company is done, finished, over. There is a reason why insiders and management own basically none of the stock. I think they know that the future is not terribly bright here. This company can only survive for so long without selling something and I don't see any indication that we had come close to selling a reasonable amount of product to make this companies viability encouraging.
I think there is still a mystery as to the reason why The Chinese invested in this company. I suspect it has more to do with financial manipulation as opposed to an investment in the future success and bio key as we all know it today.
Sorry folks but I'm done with this company. I think we see $.30 on some manipulated buying and at that point I'm out.
Just curious, how do you define that as either a buy or a sell?
I guess the way I look at it, someone wanted to dump 200,000 shares on the cheap today. Conversely, somebody was willing to buy them today also.
I'm happy there was a buyer but my greater concern is that somebody is looking to dump that many shares. Perhaps it's end-of-the-year tax loss selling. All I know is that we have another year about to enter the history books where the stock has gone nowhere but down.
Maybe next year will be our year and somebody will sell something.
Somebody dumped 200,000 shares at $.1501. That is not a very good sign, something is up.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the Chinese deal?
Massive share dump, I wonder what the heck is going on here?
Something doesn't look right.
Only $.20 left to go before it hits my target price.
B1 sounds frustrated like the rest of us or at least like I am. I don't think it's a question being a fan of the company anymore as much as it's a question Of capabilities in this management and the ability to get this job done and realize a value for this company.
I don't think that's too much to ask after all the years that we have been here supporting the company and management.
I still think this company is worth more bankrupt Van gets his is trading at right now, I would hope somebody would pay us the kind of money for our intellectual property that we just paid the Chinese guys.
We supposedly got a new lease on life with this deal with CGS. I'm hard-pressed looking at the trading that anybody cares at all. Why is that?
Actually Sean boy, we agree on the significance of the deal with CGS. Where we probably disagree is what the real value of the deal actually it is. It started out as a $19 million deal but then we gave back 11 or $12 million to buy patents and quite honestly, I don't know if those patents have any significant value whatsoever.
I would have thought this was all that great a deal, the price per-share would have moved up at least until the mid to upper $.20 range. The fact that it went nowhere tells me that nobody believes the steel had any significant value to the company. Doesn't mean it's not a bad relationship, just means it didn't really improve our value.
Unfortunately, I still remain unconvinced that our sales and marketing strategy is really going to develop by O'keefe into a significant player in this industry. There is still an elephant hunter mentality here and I just don't think that's going to develop enough business in the short run.
At the end of the day, one has to ask a series of questions about bio key and its business. Those questions would be, Who, what, when, where, why and how.
Who is our customer?
What is our business?
When, as in timing will this market start to develop?
Where does bio key fit into this business and industry?
Why is Bio key relevant and needed in the industry?
How do we penetrate this market? Direct sales force versus representative agencies?
After 35 years in sales and marketing, I think I could write a book on the subject. My concern is that After nearly 20 years in the biometric space, we haven't gone too far in developing a business that is profitable and growing. 20 people doing $4 million in sales a year it's pretty insignificant after that length of time. I think every time I ask somebody in management about a potential opportunity, I get the reply, "that's not our business". I have to keep asking myself what what is our business?
I realize I am being very harsh and I'm probably rambling more than I should but that's 15 years of frustration and a $600,000 loss in this investment. I think I'm entitled to be a little bit harsh and ask some tough questions these days. I'd like to see some accountability for a change, parking is not developing our market change the marketing people, if sales is not getting the job done develop a new sales strategy.
In closing this rambling message, I will say for the record I'm in favor of anything that will move the stock up in price including a well orchestrated paid for pump and dump scheme.
I'll give you a quick reply to your message from my iPhone and will spend a little more time on a reply tomorrow when I'm at my computer. So my biggest question is this, if this deal is so good why is it we're still trading at basically the same price as we were prior to the deal?
Why is it we struggle to trade 10 to 20,000 shares a day, even after a big investor conference we got next to no trading, no interest from them whatsoever?
If this deal is so good, why is it we are trading at something slightly higher than half the conversion price?
I would like for this to turn out to be the greatest deal in the world for bio key and it's investors. Unfortunately, I don't get the feeling that it's even close.
What will get the stock moving is something called orders, orders, revenue, and come from paying customers.
I've been around for 15 years and I finally realize that the only thing that is going to make the stock move hire is when they could actually sell some product and make some money. Investors have lost confidence in the ability for this company to make it big. I can tell you I have and probably everyone that I know can't wait to get out. Right now, if somebody was willing to give me close to $.30 a share for my stock they can have every single share that I own.
There's a reason insiders really don't own any of this company. I think you got to ask what that reason really is.
Got a learn to proofread the stuff before I press send. That should have read, reports are that Isis can produce documents
Reports in the news today and the Cape with Isys as if Billy to produce passport documents. Maybe that would be a good place we should see if we can sell them some biometric equipment
You may think this deal is the best thing that could happen to bkyi but I don't think there's many people that would agree with you. The fact that we don't really trade any longer is very concerning. Especially after the dog and pony show that they put on yesterday at the investors conference.
I think the reality is that this deal they put together with the Chinese was really only worth about 11 or $.12 in the end. Don't forget, a lot of the money that we got went to buy Patents from them that for all intents and purposes aren't worth a whole lot anyway.
