Out in LA I think that Mulberry Pizza is the best, but Chicago pizza is still better, the deep dish type. A good frozen pizza in LA is at Trader Joe's, where they import the pizza from Italy.
Hey, Mr. Cub, of course it's in Chicago, but I'll leave it to you to give them the latest recommendation because I don't live there now.
YW, surf, we're a family here and Jacki is as good as they come.
Surf, I am still going to try to transfer my acccount to Zecco. Jacki from this board has been very helpful and suggested that I speak directly to a man named Juan at Zecco. She is a true Denster and deserves acknowledgement.
Thanks for the responses. To clarify, I have my EIGH in Just2Trade because TDA would not let me buy it. Just2Trade told me this morning that they won't allow me to buy it and would charge $75.00 per certificate to sell it. I am not selling. I called Zecco on the advice of another poster, and I was told that I could buy it there if I established an account, but they would not let me transfer my accounts from Just2Trade because they consisted of penny stocks (EIGH and GRNO). I had some problems in the past with Etrade so I won't use them again. It is my understandingg that EIGH has contacted the DTCC approximately two weeks ago and are working on removing the certificate issue, but it has not yet been resolved.
GM Den, FYI, I called Zecco today to see about transferring my accounts over there because of restrictions on buying EIGH. I was told that they would not take the transfer of my account because it consisted of penny stocks.
GM Board, I called Zecco today to see about transferring my account there from Just2Trade because of the restrictions on buying EIGH. I was told that because my portfolio consisted of penny stocks, they would not accept the transfer of my account.
Starved Rock, great memories of childhool. The Illinois version of Yosemite.
Thanks, will do.
Thanks, Sean, I understand that Zecco has no restrictions as well as some other brokers.
Release the hounds, I mean the Hawks.
Good Day, Board. I have plenty but looking to add again. I have to transfer funds from TDA to Just2Trade which will take several days. Does anyone know if the restrictions have been lifted from Just2Trade, otherwise I'll have to open another account for EIGH. Thanks.
YW, LF, and thank you for the mark. We Chicagoans should all mark each other on this board, solidarity. Only saw part of the Hawks game, Luongo had a good night. The Hawks will rise again, but don't underestimate Vancouver, they beat a very good Kings team. The Kings have a better goalie down in the AHL than played in the playoff in Vancouver.
CVS and HSA, great idea about the PMs for all. I followed your suggestions, part of the concept of Paying It Forward and helping each other. Good karma for a great board.
This is the Hawks year. Patrick Kane for President!
Billy, You Bet Your Life, it's six. All in the perception.
Billy, I count five there, but maybe you are younger and took the New Math years ago, LOL
HI, Densters, I've been lurking since I had out of town guests, but they have left now and I shall be more active again. Glad to see our stocks are performing like we predicted.
Hi, Board, haven't posted for several days due to out of town guests, but have been lurking and like the action of our stock, very bullish. GLTA. Looks like our patience will be well rewarded.
GM Dog and Densters, just checking in. Will be gone all day. Best wishes for a green day. From, your bud
Thanks to all for the info and answers to my questions.
Thank you, and I am glad I am asking these questions because it is adding to my understanding and confidence. I want to clarify that I have large investments in these stocks, have no intention of premature selling, and have not lost my faith in the team approach and FLD strategy. You raise an interesting issue, which is GRNO and why with 250% of the float owned, and the need for approximately 160% of float owned for a squeeze, why aren't we getting a squeeze in GRNO. I invested in GRNO specifically beacuse I thought it was the closeest to the squeeze due to its small float, but the share price is not reflecting that at this point, although it went up greatly after Monk's recommendation.
Thank you for your response, MBM. Regarding the 2 stocks, I invested in both of them at approximately the same time, but the per cent gain in C has far exceeded the gain in E. I have wondered about that, because both stocks have a lot of flippers and manipulation. Actually, I think the C stock has much more visibility than the E stock at this point, with potentially more flipping. That said, it has been my impression from following both boards that there is greater intensity of believers in the E stock than in the C stock, because of what appears to be somewhat better fundamentals. I like your thought that the E stock is closer to lockup than I think, but that is not consistent with other posts I have seen, and I am curious about evidence for that besides bid support. I certainly hope you are right and am looking forward to new highs. I don't mean to be difficult, because I am a very strong long and believer in both stocks and the buy, hold, and add approach.
Thanks, Tig, I was confusing the OS with the float, and thus the 30% figure is correct. Also, your point about the volume of shares and the PPS is correct. However, if we are very close to locking up the float of E, why is it still the early stages? I recall another post which indicated that we were about half way to locking up the float of E, but we have never been given a figure or approximate figure of how much float is locked up, probably because such a figure is a guesstimate only. I do understand that after locking up the float the squeeze won't start until a significant excess of air shares have entered the picture.
A question for the board. Although it seems widely assumed that C will be the fist to have the short squeeze, I note that EIGH consistently has several times the daily volume of the C stock. Although the OS of EIGH is about twice the amount of OS as the C stock, and the C stock is said to have been locked up a long time ago, with this steady much higher volume of the E stock, I wonder why the E stock is not near as close to a float lockup at this point?
Hi, second, thanks for the post. We have to be patient here, it took the C stock a long time too. This company seems to be doing all the right things to brand multiple products internationally and give back to Barbados as well. Good management. Be well.
Agreed, Jade. It's a privilege to be part of a team that remains brave and steadfast through adversity. To be in EIGH is kind of like being in a marriage, a roller coaster with ups and downs, but those that stick it out are in for great rewards.
Hi, Board, have been lurking because of out of town guests and lack of powder. Glad to see the movement today after the recent consolidation. Still very long and strong, will add when I can. Am encouraged by the teamwork and optimism of the true longs here, who know what we have, can tolerate the games and manipulation, and are keeping their eyes on the prize.
I hope so. The MMs are not out of tricks yet, but we shall overcome.
Will do my best, EX, don't have the silver tongue you do, LOL.
GM Den, busy with out of town guests here for a week, lurking and still long and strong. GLTA.
I's still with you, K9. albeit part-time.
Welcome to the board, carpetdude, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi oi oi! You've joined a great group here.
GM, Monk and all Densters. Welcome back, Monk, sounds like you had an enjoyable and successful trip to Japan. I was very impressed with your jacket and tie. BTW, I like the girl on the right in Maico's photo, the picture of health. Makes me want to have a beer.
Excellent post, Ninja. I had a similar experience at another Monkinar in January. I understand that reasonable people are skeptical because of bad experiences with pink sheeets and BB stocks. The best way for them to overcome or confirm their skepticism is to attend a Monkinar. If that is not possible. then read the various boards for an extensive period of time and follow the share prices, then they can make a better informed decision. I believe that the results, over time, speak for themselves.
If that is correct, that is a real shame. Not only is his reputation outstanding, but he charges on results, not by the hour. None of the other attorneys did that, and there has been a fortune in legal fees in this case.
I hear you. We're very glad to have him, but we have similar feelings about Vladdy Guerrero, who is having a good year with Texas. He was our star for years. Both players are on the downhill slope but still productive.
Yanks look good this year again. Angels can beat Toronto.
We used to beat the Yankees until last year. Our pitching is weak this year, so it's going to be a tough year, bad start so far. But I remain hopeful, but more hopeful about our stocks.
ANGELS and CUBS NATION!
