Speaking of which, I should join with George Sharp, who has the ongoing lawsuit against them. I need to see what has happened with that recently. I've been too busy to keep up on all the worthwhile penny-stock related lawsuits that I have tried to follow in the last year.
Anyone know a good anti-spam lawyer? IIRC CANSPAM allowed for individuals to seek damages. I've certainly got cash on hand to launch a suit against these spammers. They have overrun my inbox and for that I will not forgive nor forget.
I assume those disclaimers are all lies. Awhile ago I started working on a post on the "stockcastle" spammers. Here are a few of their disclaimers -- multiple countries, entity names, etc, for USGT. All of it is surely fake.

The website is http://doubling-stocks.com/usgt.html -- I assume there is no connection to the Hunter twins and whomever is pumping USGT just wanted to evoke their storied name. That was advertised on Bing/Yahoo a bit. I signed up but never got email. The USGT spam emails, interestingly enough, have showed up in email accounts I signed up only for bullexchange-related websites and awesomepennysocks.com related websites last summer.
$4m compensation lol. From Andorra, too. All lies, of course.
Congrats on the new tax deduction :)
CTLE prices now lower than at any point during the pump. Anyone who bought is now in the red.
I remain short 3,000 shares CTLE from 1.30ish. I will probably look to cover in the .50s. I wouldn't be surprisedto see this under .20 in a month or two.
CTLE pump and dump ads
http://twitpic.com/bmw0uv
"TheAmericanSignal.com has been retained by an unrelated third party for promotional and advertising services intended to increase investor awareness of Nano Labs Corp. (“Nano”). The common shares of Nano trade on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol “CTLE”. As of the date of posting of this disclaimer, TheAmericanSignal.com has received six hundred fifty thousand US dollars from an unrelated third party for performing these services. "
That is the reason I think that the stock has gapped up almost every day.
I remain short and am looking to cover under .70
Welcome back, pumpers. A little silly to see hundreds of posts today. In case you are surprised by the drop today, it is a pump and dump. The strong move into the close Friday was almost certainly a broker forcing shorts to cover.
I remain short CTLE although I have taken some profits since my last post.
Speaking of SNPK, has anyone been following Mackie Barch's libel lawsuit against Dealflow? I think I heard that he had lost but I haven't had the time to look up the case.

Just like SVEN, also traded in Berlin. I wonder how long it takes them to halt this one like they did with SVEN?

Where did all the cheerleaders go? No posts the last two days. CTLE broke the .91 low from November 28th today so the technicals indicate it could get ugly soon.
I remain short CTLE. I will not update when I cover, although I will likely cover a good chunk into any panic in the next couple days. Long-term I expect this to drop under .10 within a few months.
You are far more correct than I was. Normal chemistry tends to break down at high temperatures, so at 800 C like what they used, stuff gets complicated (far beyond my understanding of chemistry). After my post I did find that paper and I am amused by it. Most of my earlier criticism doesn't stand.
But the one thing that does stand is the most important: no one would ever seriously use tequila. If you want ethanol and water, use them, but don't pay a premium to get EtOH, H20, and random gunk from the agave plant.
Seeing that Castano from that paper (the only one of the three who did not attend the ceremony to receive the Ig Nobel prize they received) is the chief technology and research officer of CTLE makes me think that this is some sort of elaborate joke. Sort of like if I were to create a pump and dump company and use the ticker PUMP. He is a chemist, so he has to know how dumb using tequila would be. It is as if he is saying to all the shareholders: you guys are so stupid that you'll believe anything I say, no matter how dumb.
And of course, the whole business plan makes no sense. You don't do industrial coatings (paints) and then say oh wait, let's make industrial diamonds, too. Instead, you do your one killer product very well and make a bundle. But with a pump and dump company, the goal is not to produce a product or sales, but to create news that gets people excited about the stock.
I remain short CTLE. I won't post if that changes. CTLE is, in my view, substantially worthless.

Your tequila is now diamonds! Quite possibly the stupidest press release ever issued
Old Spice Diamonds
Disclosure: I am short CTLE. After reading the following I do not see how anyone who passed high school chemistry could even consider investing in the stock.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/nano-labs-ctle-announces-second-213954345.html
"Nano Labs' proprietary nanotechnology will utilize tequila as an original precursor for the development of micro crystalline diamond thin films, a process offering an excellent alternative to producing industrial-scale diamond thin films for practical applications at a very low cost."
Tequila is mostly water (H20) and ethanol (H3C-C20H). Everything else is irrelevant. So why use tequila and not just industrial ethanol/water? Because it sounds cool in a PR ... that is the only reason.
Water, because it is liquid, is hardly the sort of thing you would use to build a carbon (or any other element) lattice with. It adds no structure. Water is used all the time as a polar solvent. What is one thing that is not a polar molecule? Any sort of alkane. Alcohols, because of the OH group, will of course be miscible with water. But the water still does nothing -- anything I could conceivably want to do to build a carbon chain starting with ethanol would not involve me using water. It just doesn't do anything useful.
Now let's turn to the ethanol. Ethanol is a nice chemical but we don't find it lying around on the ground. It is produced either through fermentation of organic material or via hydration of ethylene (ethene -- H2C-CH2). Considering how cheap natural gas is in North America (mostly methane or CH4), it would make sense to get the ethanol from methane (again, through the intermediary of ethene most likely). But if we are starting with methane, why not just start with that, as our goal is to create a carbon chain? What does the OH group do for us? It is useful if we want to do some sort of substitution reaction or if we want to create something like an ester with a C-C chain and some O in it. I guess you could use it to create a long-chain alkane. But if you do that, what would you do with the long-chain alkane? How do you get rid of all the H to get a pure C chain? And if we want a long-chain alkane, why not just start with some distillate of oil?
Well, you could do something like is done to produce charcoal -- burning your long-chain alkane in the absence of oxygen. The result is carbon black and CO (carbon monoxide). Holy batshit, fatman, we now have coal, or at best, graphite! We could just mine that stuff for a fraction of the cost it took for us to make it. Even worse, we still need incredible heat and pressure to turn it into diamonds (the Old Spice reaction, used to create many industrial diamonds). Or you can do a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process -- but if you do CVD, why the hell are you starting with a liquid?
Now let us imagine we are vaporizing the H3C-C2OH for CVD. What substrate do we use? The PR doesn't say -- and that is the most important part. What energy source are we using? Remember, we want to get rid of all the O and H. With a CVD process we are adding so much energy that we will break the C-H bonds -- that is more than enough energy to break the O-H bonds. So the O & H, rather than forming H2O, will remain separate (the temperature will be far too high for water to form). So what does the OH do for us? Nothing. We could've just started with cheaper natural gas or ethane/methane/ethene for our CVD process.
So there we have it folks, this makes absolutely no sense. And not just any one part of this. None of it makes sense, and the company gave no information that could make any of it make any sense. This doesn't just make less sense than wookies on Endor and MOASS and float lock downs, this makes less sense than the idea that Mossad conspired with the Goa'uld and the Roswell aliens to use miniature black holes to destroy the World Trade Center and the airplanes and terrorists were just a smokescreen.
FYI the furthest I studied chemistry was one semester or Orgo in college. I have lots of family and friends in the chemical industry so will be circulating this among them so I can get more informed explanations of how stupid this is.
As for the standard DD: CTLE has 204m shares outstanding per http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/ctle/company-info and $0 in assets per the most recent 10Q http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=8907432
Of course they did buy the 'nano' assets after that date, but what kind of person sells good assets to a worthless otcbb shell company rather than say a big chemical company for immediate cash? Not the kind of person who actually has a good product.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_gas
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthetic_diamond
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_vapor_deposition
and of course World Eco Source, the company sold to PWEID (whose owners got 465m post-split freely trading shares) was also based in Belize. I guess it makes sense to keep your shell companies and your pump company based in the same country. That saves on airfare ;)
Speaking of Carol Remond, whatever happened to her? I don't subscribe to DJ Newswires so haven't seen any recent articles by her but I haven't seen anything from her in the last few years.
And speaking of SeekingAlpha and other non-official venues, I do say they are part of the solution: none of the people who buy P&Ds and believe in them have ever read Carol on DJ Newswires or anything from DealFlow and they don't know about BaFin or BCSC actions. Reaching the masses is an important part of fighting P&D scams because it reduces the pool of buyers. Whatever anyone may think of Infitialis, they saved people millions of dollars on CHMR.
And I know some of us have in the past and do now contact reporters / regulators. Those people just don't brag about it here. And with regards to APS I know at least a couple people who follow P&Ds and have contact with regulators have been trying to inform said regulators of their shenanigans.
You must have missed the whole iContact / Spamhaus / Awesomepennystocks brouhaha over the summer. iContact ended up dropping all APS-affiliated websites following that. The iContact chief spam officer (or whatever his official title is) was very responsive in that instance and you can see his comments on the following blog post:

Thanks for the correction -- another trader who talked to the various brokers told me the same thing today.
The borrow rates on pump and dumps at Interactive Brokers are often quite low. Of the stocks I am currently short, the highest APR I am paying is 5.8% - WCYN SANP PVTA PSON MAXE GRPH CTLE ASUV
Of course borrows are very, very difficult to come buy so there are very few who can make money shorting pump and dumps.
Thanks for the kind words, Youngster. I just sent an email to Mr. Coulson regarding SVEN. Very insightful to notice the correlation in trading activity between PWEID/SVEN.
My pennystocks.de email arrived at 10:20AM EST
I'm glad to hear that you were able to get out at a nice profit.
What you and every one else who hasn't gotten your shares yet should do is call your broker and complain. Then call PWEID's transfer agent and complain.
OTCMarkets.com lists the following as the company's transfer agent (on this page: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/PWEID/company-info):
First American Stock Transfer, Inc.

A couple traders I know said they got their shares within a few days of the split -- but they have Interactive Brokers and Capstone Investments, not standard retail brokers. Still, there is no reason for brokers to be this slow.
Disclosure: No positions. I run OTCMicroCapResearch.com and have been saying bad things about PWEID for some time.
SVEN the new APS pump

It'll probably be another one-day pump rape-fest like VLNX.
I have to imagine that APS' downfall is going to be someone involved in it -- there are just too many people involved in the scam -- the patsies running the companies, the lawyers, the brokers that sell the shares and turn a blind eye manipulative trading / wash sale trading, the guy who writes the pump emails and lies about the compensation, etc. Imagine just one person becoming an SEC whistleblower -- if they can help locate / freeze the offshore accounts then they could get a nice multi-million dollar payday.
That is off-topic for this board. Anyway, I would be willing to bet that this upcoming APS pump is going to be like VLNX and they'll just pump it hard for a very short time to make a ton of money, leaving most buyers with losses. They 'redeemed' their reputation with TAGG so now it is time to burn it again and make $30 million in a couple days.
When is the last time the SEC suspended trading in a stock that was in the middle of a major stock promotion? IIRC they did that to a pennystockchaser pump 2.5 years ago. UTOG at the beginning of last year had way more problems than just the promotion. Even with blatant evidence of lies in CHMR's press releases regarding Pemex it took them two months to suspend trading in that. The problem is that they wait until the evidence is super-strong before suspending trading.
EIGH a year or two ago IIRC still took a week or more after the absolutely blatantly fake takeover news.
At the current price of $0.54 and with 471,560,143 pre-split shares as of September 30th ( http://www.otcmarkets.com/financialReportViewer?symbol=PWEID&id=93623 ), that makes for 1,414,680,429 shares post-split and a $763m market cap. Of course, when you consider the shares issued for the PurGro Electronics LLC purchase -- which we don't know how many there are because the company hasn't bothered to tell us -- I believe the market cap is significantly higher. I estimate that they issued 500,000,000 post-split shares (166,666,666 pre-split shares) to pay for the PurGro acquisition (which is only slightly more than what they paid for World Eco Source). Once we add in those shares we get 1,914,680,429 shares outstanding for a total market cap of $1,033 million, just over $1 billion.
A bunch more red flags at PacWest Equities (PWEI / PWEID)

It would take a whole lot of naivete to buy this stock after reading my report (as well as earlier reports written by myself and others):

Nodummy's report on the company's history: http://promotionstocksecrets.com/pacwest-equities-inc-pwei-major-connections-to-vlnx/

PWEID (PWEI) very negative report just issued. The report raises questions about many aspects of the company's business including their one purported customer, the timing of their press releases, and the undisclosed dilution resulting from the recent acquisition of PurGro Electronics LLC.

I wrote the report. I stand behind it. I have no position in PWEID and I have not been compensated by anyone to write the report.
You are correct. I only started following AoL at the beginning of this year. I am sorry I missed the earlier fun.

I just blogged about this: http://www.goodetrades.com/2012/11/george-sharp-wins-libel-suit-agains-abuseoflaw-org-michael-osborn/
PDF of order here: http://www.goodetrades.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/abuseoflaw_decision.pdf
I have been sitting on a ton of the court docs in the George Sharp vs. spam pumpers and spam pumped companies (IDOI, MSTG, EMPM, BRND) lawsuit and in his lawsuit against WRIT for many months and have not gotten around to actually looking them over in detail. I had hoped that the WRIT lawsuit would include information about Awesomepennystocks.com' pump of it (back in May 2011 -- it was also pumped by Free Penny Alerts LLC and Pudong LLC).
You are so far off-base that you aren't even wrong.
Abuseoflaw was taken down and given to George Sharp because they were libeling him and he had sued them for it. Everything else they said is irrelevant. Furthermore, if I recall correctly, everything they posted on various pump and dumps was basically just quoting SEC litigation releases or StockWatch articles. They weren't doing any independent research.
Yes it is the same spam pumper as IDOI MSTG NGHT etc. See George Sharp's lawsuit against IDOI, BRND, and other companies pumped by these spammers.

Disclosure: I'm short. Booyah!
Silly Janice. We all know that you are actually the head of the Italian branch of the SEC Enforcement Division. Using an alias can't hide that obvious fact. ;)
Right. At this point, all the SEC has to do is subpoena the domain registration records. Whomever is behind the fake STKO 8k will almost certainly get sued (in two years, lol). It doesn't really matter who I or anyone else thinks is behind it -- the truth will come out (eventually).
Price target: $0.02
CTDT MDMC RARS the past pumps by Victory Mark Corp Ltd have all dumped hard. PWEI at its high today had a market cap of $230 million despite having essentially no assets or real business. This will be down by 90% in two weeks and by 98% in a month.
Well yes, but the question is did I just see a bear taking a shit in the woods? I'm sure you've seen more than I but normally the pumpers wait until after the press release comes out before touting the news.
PWEI Victory Mark Corp pump -- did the promoters know the news prior to its release?
At 9:30am EST on 10/9/2012 the Victory Mark websites promoted PWEI, stating in part:
"PacWest Equities Inc. may soon be known as one of the leaders in green technology. PWEI specializes in working with companies to bring together resources needed so they are able to reach the next level.
World EcoSource Corp., a PacWest Equities Inc. company, is a technology based company which has developed the MobileFeed and MobileFood systems helping offset deficient worldwide food production for both animals and humans. "
The acquisition wasn't released in a press release until 4pm that day: http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/pacwest-equities-inc-acquires-world-eco-source-corp-pinksheets-pwei-1710873.htm
The most recent filing with Pinksheets states, ""In April 2012 the company again acquired another company for 155,000,000 shares of common stock." but gives no details.
So it appears the stock promoters knew before anyone else about the news. Isn't that a violation of Reg FD? And doesn't that prove that the company is complicit in the pump?
And no I'm not a rube -- I know how these things work and all these big pumps are run by insiders with the companies put together for the sole purpose of being a pump. It just surprises me that the evidence is so clear in this case.
And here's a link to Nodummy's good report on PWEI for anyone who missed it: http://promotionstocksecrets.com/pacwest-equities-inc-pwei-major-connections-to-vlnx
