My grandfather had a cow with blackleg. He had to shoot him. Thought he was going to have to shoot the whole herd.

From the Research 2.0 report (IV means Intrinsic Value):
Although it has great potential, we are leaving VG Energy out of our IV methodology and treating it as a free out-of-the-money call option.
Our base case IV model values Viral’s shares at $0.47.
It assumes the company is successful in Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials with its HIV and drug-resistant cancer therapies, and is further able to strike licensing deals with established biopharmaceutical companies to complete clinical testing and take on the market within the next 3-5 years.
With the successful conclusion of the lawsuit, we expect Viral to return to full reporting and list on the OTCBB.
The earnings/share is from WellsTrade. I could give you a link but it wouldn't do you any good unless you have an account.
"I would anticipate a .50 price point for the end of feb."
Based on what? CPOW is only going to get 10%, of the proceeds of the Chongqing MOU, if that much. Something like 7-9 cents per share. Their current earnings/share is -0.0033.
The market has already done the math. The price you see is the result.
Ask on otcmarkets is $2.50.
Seems rather a steep decline on the announcement that they're hiring 5 people and moving into a new office.
As soon as I said I expected it to drift downward, it went up a tad.
I just used up all my posts for today. Thank god.

You mean people shorting, not covering their shorts?
I expect it to drift downward until there is some solid news. And that isn't going to be for a couple of months.
I've mentioned the well-formed head-and-shoulders before, and I'm talking about the one from 6 Jan 11 - 24 Jan 11. I don't really consider the one from 16 Dec 10 - 6 Jan 11 to be a head-and-shoulders, but if you do then we got a double head-and-shoulders.
I mentioned the head-and-shoulders here already, a couple of times.
In addition to the fact that a head-and-shoulders signals a downward trend, there is an established downward trend after 21 Jan 11.
Trading on sentiment vs. fundamentals has been mentioned here several times. Well, technicals are about the best measure of market sentiment there is.

Never mind. I was using Chrome. It works in Firefox, no problem.

The photo in your message is demanding I log in. I'm not interested in logging into whatever it is to read your post.
Besides, I saw that press release.
So they're hiring 5 people and getting a new office? That's worth a 25% hit on the stock price?
Uh, doesn't a stock have to trade above $1 for 6 months to get on the NASDAQ?
Because MEDICINE IS NOT TAXED.
Obviously, you have no morals whatsoever.
I'm not going to look for the post, but as I recall they said they called their broker trying to buy shares during the two weeks trading was halted in Canada and it was their broker who said something about insider trading.
Why do you keep overlooking this part:
Although the plant has been idle for nearly a year,
You certainly struck me as someone that's been around a ticker once or twice.
To me this is an obvious, classic pump and dump. Sorry but that is my view. I do not want to argue about it, time will tell.
I'm implying exactly what I said.
I knew better than to say anything about this stock today.
It was a 3:1 split, not a "one for three" split. A dividend of 2 shares for every share held.
Seems to me a company that's on the up-and-up isn't going to split at 5 cents, or whatever the price was. They're going to wait until it's hitting $5 and they're on the nasdaq and the price has stabilized.
Seems to me their goal should be getting on the Nasdaq, or listed with some exchange - to sit at the table with the big money.
In fact, a company will often declare a reverse split (such as "one for three", off the top of my head I can recall a case of 20:1) in order to keep the price up in order to stay listed with an exchange.
6:25PM At the very end of my special New Years Eve alert I said, "PS: Short CPOW at $0.3265 it will be less than 1 penny soon! Goldman my @$#."
I don't find it odd at all considering the Canola Council of Canada apparently has never heard of CPOW, "General Bio Energy", or "Clean Power Concepts".
I searched their site a week ago on both "general bio energy", "clean power concepts", and CPOW - and turned up nothing.
And yet now they're going to build a plant that would increase Canada's production by about 10%?
Really?
Neither has the Canola Council of Canada anything to say about "troy metz", however they do have one article about "shenher":
http://www.canola-council.org/canola_ink_july_20_2007.aspx
Biofuel partnership to open shop in Alberta - Canadian Green Fuels and Cansource BioFuels have announced plans to open a new biodiesel production facility in Mayerthorpe, AB. The new joint venture will be called Cansource CGF Mayerthorpe.
"This joint venture agreement will provide Canadian Green Fuels a link to expanding its production facilities outside Saskatchewan in a place that has an abundance of canola," says Michael Shenher, president of Canadian Green Fuels. The deal will see the construction and development of a community-based, integrated crushing and biodiesel facility to process 10 million litres of canola-based biodiesel. It will be scaled up to produce 40 million litres by 2010.
Canadian Green Fuels has also partnered with U.S. company AlgoDyne Ethanol Energy Inc. They plan to build and operate a fleet of retail biofuel stations in western Canada. For more, go to: http://www.algodynecorp.com
What a bunch of crap. How is it Ethan Nadelman, director of The Drug Policy Alliance, is talking as if he's never heard of the Jack Herer Initiative, which is already written and has already launched their campaign to be on the ballot in 2012?
http://www.youthfederation.com/cchhi2012.html
Nadelman is obviously lying through his teeth, and Hoeffel and the LA Times are aiding and abetting.
Both Michael Jolson and Bruce Margolin are part of the CCHHI 2012 group, and spoke at the conference.
How is it the L.A. Times reporter failed to notice them or their initiative - the one endorsed and promoted by Jack Herer, The Emperor of Hemp, for years?
Could it be our emperors, such as Ethan Nadleman, Allan St. Pierre, Russ Beliville, and Chris Conrad - could it be they have no clothes?
Well, you have been "warned" by Nadleman - abandon your principles because "principles" are not what this is about.
Ethan Nadelmann, executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, which has played a major role in California's drug reform initiatives, warned that activists were going to have to balance their principles with what will be possible to pass. "All I can think is, God, this is complicated," he said.
Another serious concern is that moderates will prevail in the drafting of a legalization initiative for 2012. During the drafting of the Prop. 215 text for the initiative there were two groups, the moderates and the radicals. The moderates were better organized, but their initiative was very limited and would, as Dennis Peron joked, "only allow medical marijuana for patients in their last half hour of life."
Peron's initiative was much more radical and specific. It provided a legal exemption to the laws on possession and cultivation of cannabis for medical purposes. It was short, sweet and without any limits. Then, out of the blue, we found out that the moderates had secretly filed their initiative, beating our group to the start line. Unfortunately for them, they paid by check. It was only because John Entwistle went to Sacramento, filed our version of the initiative and paid by money order that our version was adopted and became what we all know as Prop. 215, the Compassionate Use Act.
Where does the article say he was gone from General Bio Energy? I don't see anything about General Bio Energy in the article or his association with it.
That article was dated Jul 2009. In Feb 2009 he entered a least with Margaret and Mike Shenher as president of General Bio Energy - there is a link to the lease in one of my previous posts.
That lease was filed with the SEC in an 8k dated 29 Apr 10 and received 3 May 10
The best argument for legalization is not that you can sell-out patients to the government.
The best argument for legalization is that marijuana is MEDICINE. That it works better than pills. That the pills don't work and marijuana does.
What a bunch of carpet-baggers....selling out the sick and dying to the government.
Right, the sick and dying are just cash-cows and photo opps.
In the world I grew up in it was considered not just wrong, but evil, to tax medicine.
But you, evidently, hope to get rich by exploiting sickness and suffering? Would you be so happy if your mom was a medical marijuana patient and it was her medicine they were taxing?
Where does the article say anything about CPOW?
I hope those of you who are long this stock have a good week next week and are able to sell a little to pay for your position.
Yahoo Finance lists Troy Metz as Chief Development Officer: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s=CPOW.PK+Profile
I've posted this link at least once before.
The legend for the box listing the key executives says the amounts of their compensation are current as of 31 Dec 2010. While no amounts are listed, I think it is reasonable to assume that Troy Metz was Chief Development Officer on 31 Dec 2010.
Additionally, Troy Metz is listed as President of General Bio Energy in this lease dated 1 Feb 2009. I haven't read the lease, just skimmed it, but it is between Margaret & Michael Shenher and Troy Metz: http://sec.edgar-online.com/clean-power-concepts-inc/8-k-current-report-filing/2010/05/03/section36.aspx
Notice the URL is 2010/05/03, 8k current report - i.e. it is a filing in conjunction with the "acquisition" of General Bio Energy by CPOW in May:
http://www.stockhideout.com/small-market-capitalization/10120-cpow-mergers-acquisitions-clean-power-concepts-buys-general-bio-energy.html
It seems odd to me that those of you who claim to have been following this company "since the beginning" have never heard of Troy Metz.
Well, you're getting the NEWS!!! you were hoping for: http://www.leaderpost.com/news/Local+company+considers+plant+China+deal/4190369/story.html
Because it will be April 20th in a couple of months.
You know, I wish this BBS had a feature to make notes about the posters, so that when I read a message by someone I can click a link or hover over their screenname and see my notes about them.
And tags, so that I can define a set of tags and click a radio button or select from a drop-down box to tag them. At least 6 tags that I can label - "idiot", "worth reading", "pump & dumper", etc...
...but if they did have such a feature they would charge for it, and I don't see myself paying to use this in the foreseeable future.
I wouldn't want my tags and notes to be viewable by anyone else, and I shouldn't be able to see anyone else's tags and notes.
Now that was a post worth reading.
BTW, you forgot to mention the timing.
The whole shebang was timed to go off at Christmas.
THAT is suspicious.
Did you look at page 3 of that report? The number of days and particular days they claim the MMs traded with a 'bullish bias'?
Did you pay any attention to what the report said about the 'bullish bias'?
Did you look at this filing on 20 Dec 10? http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=7616303
(thank god I used up my last post for the day)
The 800k short interest is from Bloomberg: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=CPOW:US
The 3.5% was a typo, or a senior moment. Take your pick. Should be .035% of the shares outstanding. I think.
And Bloomberg shows 240.078M shares with 183.083M float.
I've about used up all my posts.
And that is probably a good thing.
Now that was an interesting post.
Don't'cha just love the internet?
Oh my!!! And there's Troy Metz again.
Well, if there is 800k short interest today, that should produce quite a short squeeze in the next half hour...
"The final structure of the JV has not yet been determined, but CGG will be the majority owner."
The 8k says something quite a bit different.
I have no position, short or long.
No. I don't recall if one was ever listed, much less what it might have been.
In all honesty, I didn't look for that, much less at it.
