What a surprise. I've always said this thread suffers from confirmation bias. Don't know what it means? Look it up. Hikma CEO sounds like a fair reasonable person. Hopefully this sheds some light on what the situation was. Many said there would be a settlement. I always maintained that JT would not settle under any circumstance. I still maintain that Amarin will lose the appeal. You can forget about the USA. Hikma is a much, much larger and smarter co than Amarin. Supply obviously is not a problem and I fully believe that they will hit the ground running regardless of what the Uber Bulls believe. The Uber Bulls haven't been correct with very much up to this point. Hikma already has their infrastructure in place with very experienced troops on the ground. I believe they can/will ramp much faster than than most here think.
I suppose all that Amarin really has left is the ROW which they plan on tackling themselves lol. Most here thought that GIA was not the way to go but when the co announced that was their plan, most here flipped and changed their tune. Comical! This post is not directed at you rosemountbomber.
Sending letters and email to judges?
Some SH's are a danger to your investment.
Flashed crashed? You're being a bit dramatic. I wouldn't consider 6.84 a crash.
Oh my! Amarin is not the one living in a dreamworld. This is not the way it works in the business world, only in the fantasy world. Truly speechless at what I just read.
Where has all these tea leaves gotten the stock over the last two yrs? $7? 99% of the tea leaves readings have been wrong. Yeah, the new hire founded a consulting co. This likely means that he was just unemployed lol.
What did your last poll show? The complete opposite results lol. People flip flop when they don't get what they hoped for. People lose money because they don't stick with their convictions. You just can't make this stuff up lol. Almost no one here wanted a GIA in EU. Now they are happy with Amarin's decision???
I don't really see that happening until they rework a new contract. They have T-Mobile through an acquisition they made. Right now it's implied until they rework a new contract.
Exactly! This should take them years off their 11 to accomplish. Not going to be a cakewalk by any means and will take a lot of money. No matter what some people say, mgt will have to do a cash raise again.
It will be all about the conference call and what they can and can't say. I expect lower earnings based on the ramp up in hiring. Ramp up is for a reason so I'm not worried regardless of what happens tomorrow.
From JT's mouth: While a settlement is not out of the question, it seems very unlikely at this point.
Every time people get the news they did NOT want to hear, they somehow turn it into a positive so they can continue to justify their investment in a co that seems to make all the wrong decisions. People have very short memories. Not going to be a BO but by all means, hold on to that notion if it makes you feel better about holding this disaster.
Banks will also add the huge cost and failure rate of one drug co's going it alone. A wash at best.
Does this mean you are selling now? Flip flop, flip flop.......
The GIA strategy can guarantee you another equity raise down the road.
Wrong again. (eye roll) There will also be no settlement before the appeal ruling. Nothing but wrong for years.
Amarin GIA in Europe LMAO!!! There goes everyones theory about a buyout. I have been spot on about everything. Last shoe to drop will be losing the appeal.
Just in case you were wondering, Dr Reddy's hit a 52 wk high today :) I still believe Amarin's will lose their appeal against them.
Where did all the reading between the lines get the stock over last year? A $6.50 stock price, that's where.
It's posts like this one that proves I'm not missing a darn thing by being away from here.
What's wrong with you? When I first got into the markets at 18 yrs old I had no money so I played penny stocks. Majority of people who play the pennies do so because they have no money. People with money don't need to very high risk penny risk. These stocks are pennies for a reason.
I spent 20 yrs on WS. I doubt you can teach me anything :)
You will all fail with this one. Live and learn:)
Congrats! You're officially in the hole 21% in only a day.
Still looking for that very elusive PR :)
Many Months ago I said this stock is not/would not be going anywhere. Dead money until the appeal is resolved.
He's got an ax to grind with a couple of thousand co's. He's the most disliked reporter in biotech and has been for last 15 years. I believe he is pretty much unbiased most of the time and he just gives his opinion. People who are in the stocks he paints in a negative light have fallen in love with their investment so he always gets attacked but is right more often than he's not.
Huh? I can't waste anymore time with you on this. Believe what you choose to believe.
Sure, they can report how much revenue comes from each co, they just can't name the co's if there clients don't allow them to. It's all comes down to what the client allows them to do.
Are you kidding me? Apple makes most co's sign non-disclosures with them. Why? Competitive reasons. Did you really just ask me that question? Don't buy it then lol. There are a lot smarter people in this stock than you and me. This co does not sell directly to retail, they get paid by the carriers. The carriers dictate what can get announced and what cannot. The general retail consumer doesn't even know this co exists. To them the service this co provides comes from the carrier.
Yet you replied to my post lol. Admit it, you just cant ignore me.
This stock or the other one? Amarin will fall short. The other one is expected to fall short because they have done some massive hiring of software engineers/programmers. They would not have done that if they weren't expecting or didn't have a massive amount of new accounts coming there way. The CFO is extremely conservative. they already have two new Tier 1's that have not been announced and a load of new loT customers not yet announced. They may never announce many of these due to the other party no letting them. We will know when it shows up in their earnings.
Oh so a stock price increases because it doesn't serve anyone's purpose if it doesn't? Did you really just say that? smh
$10 before ruling? I seriously doubt it.
Survival of a co? Really? You don't think Amarin can survive without the ruling being overturned?
There is a lot happening at the co. They just cannot announce anything yet. We should get more color of what's going on, on the next ER call in a couple of wks or so. Your patience will pay off big soon.
I check in every now and then. Nothing new here. Just the backseat attorneys chirping away. Yup in the center of the Covid firestorm here in South FL.
Only thing that popped up on my news screen was this just before the close.

What volume? Stock never trades and only a float of 700k shares. Stock is not going anywhere. Your thesis of a PR causing a pop should have happened already if it was going to happen.
How's that PR coming? No posts in a week? Did everyone bale already with this one? lol
Problem is the co is crap!
