Power Technology, Inc. Creates Advanced Battery Development Company With B.C. Research and NORAM Engineering
Monday December 2, 1:00 am ET
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 2002--Power Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:PWTC - News) in conjunction with BC Research is pleased to announce the formation of "NXCELL Batteries, Inc.", an advanced battery technology company. Power Technology, Inc. maintains 65% ownership of the newly formed, privately-held business with the remaining 35% held by BC Research, a subsidiary of NORAM Engineering & Constructors Ltd., which will pay an additional fee of $120,000 USD per year to Power Technology over the next three years.
NXCELL BATTERIES INC. is expected to attract government funding, tax credits and private venture capital with immediate revenue opportunities via military, marine and other special power applications where the technology will be proven on a batch production basis.
The goals of the new company will be:
* To create a world class company and development team with access to international companies using and distributing batteries, and focused in the near term on opportunities for hybrid electric and mini-hybrid (42 volt) electric hybrid vehicle applications.
* To develop and commercialize the advanced performance battery technology concepts currently under development by Power Technology Inc. in conjunction with BC Research.
* To finance the company from private placements, strategic partners and government incentive programs.
* To add other contingent advanced battery and energy storage system technologies presently at the conceptual stage at BC Research.
As a Power Technology licensee in North and South America, NXCELL BATTERIES INC. will have a strong commercialization strategy with a clear focus on emerging markets in which the company could dominate including hybrid and automotive applications of the future.
Independent evaluation performed by Catella Labs of Sweden and development work done by BC Research confirm the superior performance -- approximately 85% increase in power/energy over present lead-acid technology -- of Power Technology's battery. A battery that charges faster, is inexpensive and also significantly lighter (using about 20% of the lead of a regular lead-acid battery) could help make possible a strong selling all-electric commuter vehicle.
Wolf Meyerfeld, President of Power Technology Inc. said, "the fortification of our management and technical teams via the introduction of BC Research and the creation of NXCELL BATTERIES INC., combined with the validation of various testing agencies and collective industry contacts, will allow Power Technology to rapidly advance commercialization of our products."

Hi temmeup. If I could I would. EOM
I called Equitilink, LLC. Monday and spoke with Ronald L. Garner
(877) 788-1940. He said that all registered shareholders of PWTC will be getting a yellow card in the mail with some info on Equitilink and asking you to call them. They sound like a good company.

Thanks. And I yours.
kiababbuck...good one! I didn't even think about that!
Ennis is a town close to West Yellowstone. That is where they filmed "A river runs through" Nice area.
Once again.. Good one!
I think now that I have run out of tags. I might just spend a few days shooting some coyotes.
The coyotes get a little timid about now with all the shooting. No gophers out now. :(
kiababbuck no I said....
"Shot two bullets this year (hunting) and got 1 elk and 1 5x5 mule buck. Both in the NECK fell in their tracks."
You might just want to go see that eye doctor again. LOL
I shot my elk by Ennis MT and my deer by Butte MT
National Ammo Day. Yes I will buy up a load of .22.
I reload the rest. I might pick up a few lbs. of powder too!
I could use a few thousand rounds of lead too!
Never can have too much.
Shot two bullets this year (hunting) and got 1 elk and 1 5x5 mule buck. Both in the neck fell in their tracks.
Neither had any idea I was even in the same state. Must be getting better or just plain lucky.
338 mag elk
25-06 deer
Hi freki.
I agree we are sitting on a winner. Just have to wait for a bit. I am not going any place. Holding tight with my shares.
Welcome and thanks. logman
Good luck to you POB. I am hoping you made a big mistake also.
Don't know why its quiet but I like the technology and think Wolf can put this thing on its feet. Holding my 250,000 shares long. Good luck. logman
Yip Yip Yip Yahoo! Republicans take House and Senate!
Way to go Bush!

Wow. At lease we are posting again.
Pmento I am sorry that my posting things that I feel are important on this board disagree with you. Although I do respect your opinion I will from time to time post things having to do with my gun rights. The vast majority of gun owners are law abiding citizens. I am of the feeling that if more people had concealed gun permits in America crime would be MUCH lower then it is now. Take Montana for example. Most people in Montana have guns in their cars all the time. Concealed weapons permits are very easy to get. Crime is low here.
Criminals know that if they pull out a gun to rob someone others in line might be packing a gun and blow them out of line.
As for the sniper you had in your area. Here if we saw them we wouldn't call the cops with a description we would call the meat wagon and tell them where to come pick up the remains.
Please vote today. logman
Hi dooron. Me too! But I might just go buy a few thousand rounds of 22 for the the day.
OT:November 19, 2002 will be the first National Ammo Day. It is a nationwide
BUYcott of ammunition.
There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of
America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100
rounds of ammunition, that's 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding
citizens!
Let the politicians, the gun-grabbers, and the international community know
that America is proud of its Right to Bear Arms and we will not be disarmed.
The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the
frivolous lawsuits brought by the gun-grabbers. These gun-grabbers are
trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we
CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19!
The originators of National Ammo Day will maintain the sales records (provided
optionally and voluntarily by ammunition sellers) of the ammunition sold on
November 19 and make this information known to the newspapers, the new
services, and the politicians locally and nationally.
Imagine the power of that message... we can say to our fellow citizens that
there are BILLIONS of rounds of ammunition in the hands of law-abiding
citizens. Take THAT Gun-Grabbers and Million Mommies! We'll celebrate A
BILLION ROUNDS.
The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your
local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the
hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment
known--by voting with your dollars!

ONEBGG you are welcome.

Glad I got back from the hunt last night.
15 above zero now with 40 mile per hour winds now.
Hi all. Just got back from an elk hunt and came back with a very nice cow elk.
Now there will be meat in the freezer:)
Just read the news. Welcome Wolf to the helm. Looking forward to good things coming from your hard work.
Welcome. logman
OT: Ok, I am back from the hunt. 6 of us went out in hopes of getting an elk. 6 of us came back with elk.
Great hunt! One shot through the neck with the 338 mag. Had to drag it for a mile or more. I am sore. Thank god my son Eric was there to help me drag it.
Could have shot a nice BIG bull later in the day - but- he will be that much bigger next year and I already had one for this year. He had no idea where we even were. Would have been a great shot!
Hi preamp. Old logman is getting ready to go hunting for that big multi pointed Wapiti. Got the ol 338 mag. all sighted in and ready for action.
Have a good weekend. logman

Hi TD Yup thats it. Model 1100. Just kept everyone I came across. Have you ever shot one? They are sweet. My father bought his in 1951 and I loved it when I was young and found 3 more just like it. One someone cut the stock down slightly to put a recoil pad on. That is the one I use. The rest just sit in the safe. I didn't know you knew so much about guns?
Lots of us gun nuts out there. What is your favorite?
Hi kiababbuck.
From the year 1950 to 1952 Model 1000 and 1100 Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB were available. (mine are model 1100)
From research I have done by the serial numbers I am guessing that they are 1951. The years 1950 to 1952 are the vintage I am looking for.
Model 1000 and 1100 were made between 1950 and 1952 in 270 Win, 220 Swift and 30-06.
Model 1000 was a "Monte-Carlo" version and Model 1100 a "De Luxe" ditto. Both were drilled and tapped for scope and/or
diopter mounts.
Do you have one??
Thanks logman
I have some rifles that I feel are one of the finest made. 1951 Husqvarna Hi-power. I have a collection of 4 of these rifles.
One of them has never been fired 100% blueing, 99.9 stock condition. The stock on these guns are made of Arctic Beech.
Real hard wood. Beautiful hand checkering. All in 30-06 cal. I am always looking for more. Keep me in mind if you find one in very good condition.
Thanks logman
That big mule deer buck was just back. He is nice. I looked closely at his horns and they are a good foot over his ears.
I was gust leaving my shop and we met. He did not even run, just watched me. I filled up a bucket of water for the cats but I think he had his eye on it too. He won't die by my hand but I hope he gets wise soon the season starts in a week.
I will try and get a picture of him.
logman
ONEBGG as I stated earlier. I have a unfair advantage because of the past years of being a Federal Firearms Dealer. I have lots of good books:) I will hold off an my answers for a wile.
