PalmBeachAJ, in the SB/2 filing on 6-30-06 you will see that is states Proxity shareholders will receive a dividend of
1 share of CYDF for every 200 shares of PRXT held.
This is a bettet dividend than the first which paid 1 for 500.
Keep in mind the SB/2 filing and the 1 for 200 share dividend!
you and me both! Let's see what they have up their sleeve next week.
I agree. The problem is that PRXT & CYDF is so far off everyone's radar that even when they announce news nobody pays attention.
I mean a $4 Million Dollar deal with a fortune 100 company is a significant development but it seems investors are taking the "wait and see" attitude.
I believe once the fuse is lit it won't take long for this to explode!
Great things are taking place behind the scenes and PRXT should Break-out of this trading range soon!
PRXT seems to be waking up today from it's DEEP sleep!
PRXT....Radar it now!
PRXT... is waking up! RADAR IT.
LONDON, July 27 (UPI) -- The next generation of high-altitude airships may be arriving sooner than the boffins predicted, and all due to the wonders of -- paint?
Yes, researchers at RTI International, based in North Carolina, have developed "paint-on" antennas for airships they say will further advances in both communications and surveillance technologies.
The announcement comes from RTI after the antenna performed successfully during testing in June. SA-60 spherical airships painted with the antenna successfully managed to transmit voice and data links, and teleconferencing capabilities during their test flights across the Nevada desert. The test flights provided the first opportunity to test and evaluate the electrical, electromagnetic and mechanical properties of the antenna during actual flight conditions, and the antennae themselves were tested from several positions on the airships.
"Paint-on" technologies are, in themselves, nothing wildly new, and electrically conductive paints are already widely available. Cars frequently come with paint-on antennas, which can also be etched onto printed circuit-boards. Similar systems were used with foil in security system, which, when "painted" along window frames and connected to security boxes -- if the connection via the foil-stripe broke, the alarm sounded. Amateur radio operators have also used metallic paints and circuit writers to create fractal antennas for many years. Unlike these solutions however, the paint developed by RTI and their partners, Applied EM, Unitech and TechSphere Systems, is water-soluble, making it easier and cheaper to apply and dispose of that its enamel-based counterparts.
The antennas were developed through work between RTI and its research partners including Unitech, Applied EM, the International Communications Group and TechSphere Systems International. Applied EM and Unitech are developing similar technology under the Air Force Small Business Innovative Research Program, with Applied EM specializing in antenna design and electromagnetic stimulation, and Unitech focusing on patented water-based conductive coatings. RTI's long-standing government and defense links also came into play as NASA was co-opted into installing a GPS Reflectance Remote Sensing Experiment to conduct soil moisture measurements during the flight. Accurate soil moisture maps can be used to provide information for agricultural efficiency, water management and disaster planning.
As might be expected from the heritage and funding of the research, many of the potential applications of the antenna are likely to be military. David Myers, vice president of RTI's Engineering and Technology Unit, described how high-altitude airships kitted out with the antenna could be used for both defense and homeland-security purposes, including enhanced security of domestic ports and borders, and improve military communications. The antennae would act as a key enabling technology to achieve the high altitudes necessary for these Department of Defense and Homeland Security persistent surveillance missions of coastal waters, land borders and urban areas. As such, the airships augment both ground-based and satellite systems, operating well above standard commercial air traffic and the jet stream, yet below the range of most ground-to-air missiles.
Beyond surveillance, the researchers are also hopeful that the antenna will contribute to more peaceful, altruistic measures of governance that make use of the communications potentials of the technology. Myers also described how antenna-equipped airships could provide vital information to assist with hurricane disaster relief efforts and science observation missions. Industry observers have also already been speculating about the high-altitude WiFi potentials of the technology as an improvement over the currently shaky satellite alternative and constraints of weather conditions.

New "Paint-On Antenna" Flies Successfully on Sierra Nevada Corporation -- Techsphere Airship -- Technology for Next Generation Communications and Remote Sensing Systems
THURSDAY, JULY 13, 2006 7:00 AM
- Market Wire
ST. PETERSBURG, FL and ATLANTA, GA, Jul 13, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Langley Research Center (www.nasa.gov/centers/langley/about/index.html), RTI International, Applied EM, Inc., International Communications Group, Unitech, Sierra Nevada Corporation (Sierra Nevada), and Techsphere Systems International, Inc. (Techsphere), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cyber Defense Systems, Inc., (CYDF) , announced today that the test flights of the new generation "paint-on" antenna technology on board the SA-60 Spherical Airship were successful June 21, 2006 in the Nevada desert.
This was a worldwide exclusive to test the lightweight "paint-on antenna" technology on Sierra Nevada and Techsphere airship technology for communications and other applications. As part of an effort to develop new high-altitude communications and surveillance platforms, Applied EM, Inc. and Unitech, LLC are developing conformal "paint-on" antenna technology under an Air Force Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program (Air Force Research Laboratory, Hanscom AFB). "Paint-on" antenna designs were used in the Airship flight test for Iridium Global satellite communications from several locations on the Airship. These antennas transmitted and received voice and data links via the global Iridium satellite system and overall radio frequency performance was outstanding. Iridium bit error rate data transmission and receptions were tested and voice communications to and from the Airship with teleconferencing were tested successfully.
In addition, the Airship flight experiment included NASA's GPS Reflectance Experiment, which was flown to evaluate Airship applications for soil moisture remote sensing missions. The NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) is developing remote sensing applications of the Global Positioning System (GPS). While originally designed to relay navigation data, the satellite-transmitted GPS signal itself may be used to obtain a number of useful scientific measurements of both the earth's surface and of the atmosphere. This new technique utilizes the reflection of GPS signals from water, wet ground, or artificial conducting (metal) bodies. Researchers at Langley, in concert with their colleagues around the world, are developing theory, designing instrumentation, and conducting experiments to better understand the properties of the surface reflected GPS signal. The goal of the project is to apply the knowledge gained toward the development of low-cost, easily deployed, and widely applicable remote sensing systems.
Soil moisture is a relatively small component of the global hydrological cycle, but of great importance, nonetheless, in the development of it. Soil moisture is water in the ground and, as such, it plays a critical role in many biological and hydrological processes such as plant health, nutrient cycles, and cloud formation. The accurate and timely measurement of soil moisture content and its fluctuation is of paramount importance in the monitoring of natural hazards such as flooding and drought. The amount of water in the soil affects the transfer of energy between the surface of the Earth and the atmosphere by creating weather systems that can affect large populated areas. A highly water-saturated soil, for example, cannot absorb as much water as dry soil and can easily create runoff or flooding. The existence of an accurate map of soil moisture would provide information for agricultural efficiency, water management, disaster planning, and many other indirect applications.
Nonetheless, despite the fact that soil moisture measurements have been recognized as a priority in Earth science, continuous and far-reaching measurements are all but nonexistent. Present methods of measuring soil moisture, though accurate, are insufficient for use in forecast models to prevent disaster or to complement the understanding of the water cycle. However, the monitoring of soil moisture by means of remote sensing remains a topic of research and development rather than an operational capability. The recent launch of the satellite Aqua and the current development of new Earth looking systems, like the GPS reflectometer presented in this site, promise to provide better measurements of soil moisture to improve the understanding of nature and the quality of life on Earth. http://centauri.larc.nasa.gov/gps/index.htm.
RTI brought the team together as part of NASA's Innovative Partnership Program (IPP) to demonstrate the overall capabilities of high altitude airships for numerous NASA research applications. "The successful airship test flights demonstrate exciting possibilities for 'paint-on' antenna technologies," said David Myers, vice president of RTI's Engineering and Technology Unit. "This new technology can be used to assist with hurricane disaster relief, provide enhanced security of ports and borders, perform science observation missions and improve military communications."
"Our goal is to provide the most innovative low cost communication platform on the planet for government and commercial end users," stated Mike Lawson, chief marketing officer of Techsphere.
"This application shows the benefits of using our airship technology for communication, protecting our warfighters and implementing true border protection now," stated Billy Robinson, chief executive officer of Cyber Defense.

CYDF PR blitz today: Cyber Defense's CyberBug UAV on Tampa Bay's 10 News
New Way of Surveillance Is Being Created in St. Petersburg -- The CyberBug
Jun 13, 2006 10:30:00 AM
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/13/06 -- Cyber Defense Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: CYDF), a designer and developer of next generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), announced that the CyberBug UAV was the focus of a news story on Tampa Bay 10 News, on Friday, June 9th. To read the story by Reporter Valerie Boey of WTSP/Channel 10 covering the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area and view the video clip go to New Way of Surveillance (www.tampabay10.com/news/local/article.aspx?storyid=33158).
The Company's Vice President of Engineering, Jim Alman, was a part of this story, in which he said of the CyberBug, "They're unmanned air vehicles that have cameras on board and they're used primarily for surveillance."
David Shelton, an aerospace engineer that works with Jim Alman at Cyber Defense, commented in the story, "The CyberBug is constructed mostly from carbon fiber and fiberglass so it's very light and durable. These UAVs will cruise at 26 miles per hour and can fly for more than an hour."
Jim Alman said, "The UAV operators of tomorrow are the kids that are playing games today and we really wanted to make it as user friendly as we could for the future pilot, so the natural way to go was with a simple video game type controller."
About the CyberBug UAV
The CyberBug UAV is scalable and provides camera solution on both the small 2.6 pound platform as well as significant cameras solutions for day and night vision on the larger platform 14 pound platform which also has the capability to fly on station in a programmed or manual mode for up to an hour, traveling at speeds up to 30 MPH with a camera foot print of 300 x 300 depending on day or night view.
In the recent demonstrations with Maryland State police, initial acceptance of the CyberBug(TM) has led both law enforcement and Military forces in several countries to believe that the CyberBug(TM) is ideal for use in covert missions as it is silent (electric) and the on station duration for one hour. The CyberBug(TM) product allows users to view data captured by sensors from a wireless product to any location throughout the world providing a significant advantage in a low cost solution to surveillance.
