Yep, I bet he don't play the 18th that way again, lol.
Rory's made a right pigs ear of the 18th, over thought it instead of going for his usual 2 on the green for a par 5. Unlucky!
OK thanks.
That's fine by me. I've always preferred 49% of something, rather than 100% of nothing.
EDIT: Looking at the execution doc, Tranche 11 wants 'best efforts' to transfer financial, manuafacturing and obligations for CAMWATER contract to the JV so it seems it may be a 'done deal'.
I'd take that in a heart beat!
I would think that with China being the counterfeit capital of the world they wouldn't give a damn about patents but maybe 'this' side of the chinese governemnt is interested in a 'proper' contract. I certainly hope so.
You may be right. The one saving grace for me is that if the Chinese wanted to just rip the product off they could've gone through a much easier route, ie just buy a couple of Redbirds, strip em down to see how they tick for a lot less money or hassle.
Are you absolutely certain that CDNL is going to see 'serious income'? I've been reading through the past 'Q's and 'K's and don't fully understand the execution part of the agreement. Why form a Chinese JV and allow the transfer of all the manufacturing rights and obligations for the Nigeria and Camwater contracts to that Chinese JV instead of just allowing the chinese to buy 51% of CDNL and keep the status quo?
"We are VERY close to serious income being booked so you can imagin what this will do to the share price!!"
Ok right, many thanks. I obviously misunderstood the manner of purchase where it says all shares
"The issuer or affiliate must purchase all shares from a single broker or deal during a single day".
I must be missing something because if the average daily volume (30days) is 18m and the CEO can only buy 25% of the daily volume how's he supposed to buy 25m+ shares if it can only be done in the manner purchased ie in a single day?
Nothing wrong with being prepared for every eventuality, so thanks for the input and to be honest No1 popped into my mind after reading the filings as well. GLTUA @ QTMM
Many thanks for the confirmation.
You're right in one thing, it's good to get him on CNBC but he completely sidestepped the revs question by saying partnering with China Mobile gave them credibility. I guess we have to wait another 3 years before we see if anything substantial is coming our way. PPS has been static for 3 years for me and can't wait forever so EOY tax selling may be the way forward for me.
Fair enough, each to their own. I sincerely hope that the CEO has delayed his buy back in order to profit from traders as they 'do their thing'. JMO
50ma I reckon, JMO
Fowler, Garcia, Scott, Rose and Stenson, 277 please.
Awesome news on the face of it, great find. Sounds very positive for QTMM.
I think it'll depend on what the pps is. If he's smart, and he sounds like he is, then he'll want the best possible price to give us more bang for his buck. So maybe he'll buy slowly and have a limit on what pps he's prepared to pay. I'm also guessing that there'll be a huge influx of volume from day traders, out of the gate, trying to drive the pps up. So in that scenario I'd be happy if he didn't buy anything immediately today and waited for a retrace next week. JMO
I think it's gonna be done via each 'Q' filing, if I'm reading the 8k right.
"The Company plans to report repurchases and of its shares of common stock under the Share Repurchase Program on a quarterly basis, in the Company's filings made with the SEC."
I had to re-read this filing several times! Finally, a CEO actually delivering what he says he's going to do. I dipped a small toe in to celebrate, congrats to those that found this in the dub's
Everyone is welcome, you're still a shareholder no matter how many shares you have. GLTY hope ya make a bundle
OK thanks for that.
Good piece, but I was unaware of the size and structure of a vaping cloud, until I saw it for myself on the news in a vaping boutique. I would be mortified if I had to sit anywhere near one of those things whilst they were being smoked, inside or outside. It certainly doesn't give me the impression that they're as safe as is made out. The industry has dropped a clanger here IMO and should immediately cut the amount of emissions that vaping pumps out. Perception is everything. JMHO
Thanks for that, I doubt BAT will have the same problem we did.
I'm thinking Karp will take over soon, with Phil as a 'background' guy. Makes me think Pinnacle have an exit strategy, I just don't see how this can be viewed any other way (unless Karp is a Pinnacle man) JMHO
Great news, means we're going up?
You're not wrong on the potential here and your timing might be spot on, but I thought my timing was spot on over 2 years ago. JMO
So is Karp in and Anderson out as CFO over the next few weeks? I noticed in the PART III 'Bios', Anderson is the only one who doesn't have the sentence "elected to the board because of his experience" underneath his paragragh. Could be an unanticipated dip coming, because historically, the market doesn't like it when CFO changes are made when a company is underperforming. JMO
and 2017/18/19/20/21/22/23/24/25...... well y'all get the picture
LOL, I'm still learning after all this time. If we knew everything we wouldn't be sat here making no money on this board Enjoy your weekend!!
Huge segment on SKY UK news this morning about how E-cig smoking is healthier and doesn't lead to kids starting smoking. However they showed a video clip of someone blowing a huge cloud of smoke out of his vaping kit, which literally filled the camera and covered his entire face. This, I believe, is the reason people's perception are that it's less healthy. Surely they can bring out E-cigs that don't blow out the same amount of smoke as a nuclear power plant? JMHO
I can't see that being the case, Dan and Phil seem pretty straight shooters and to blatently sh*t on his major investors (and friends by all accounts) would be a disaster, not only for his reputation but for the company as well. JMHO
I've thought all along how promising their updates sound but alas nothing has led to sales/revs. Last chance saloon for me, can't hang around forever with nothing concrete to hang my hat on. JMHO
Many thanks for the interesting conversation that takes place on this board. You're all slowly dragging me into the 21st century
To cut a very long story short, I'm about to launch a new product and if there's one thing I've learnt from my due diligence is that you can have the best product in the world but if nobody knows about it then you'll never make a penny. It would cost virtually nothing (in the great scheme of things) to run a social media campaign hitting 2 billion followers of Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter, in multiple languages. Imagine if only .001% buy our Ecigs? Do the maths! JMHO
Congrats dbleagl, nice play
UK's finest having a bit of 'a mare' today. Glad to see Matsuyama having a good day after underperforming the only week I picked him, lol.
Is Speith the best putter ever? Tiger was great tee to green and put the ball within a few feet for a put but Speith can put from everywhere. Anyone have a better putter?
