Interested in an update on NGTF?
The way I see it is that you have two choices;
1. You continue to listen to the opinions of individuals on this board (including the guy who is writing the post you are reading) or
2. You register for the Emerging Growth Conference (which NIghtfood was invited to speak at BTW) which starts tomorrow. Sean Folkson CEO will deliver a presentation focused on the sleep-friendly nighttime snacking category which Nightfood is pioneering, and provide updates on the May 2022 launch of Nightfood’s sleep-friendly snack products in hotel lobby shops from coast to coast
(The presentation begins at 11:30 AM Eastern time and the Q&A will conclude at noon).
You can read the latest PR from NGTF by clicking on the link below and should be able to click on the internal link within the PR to register for the conference;
Nightfood to Present at Emerging Growth Conference on June 8, 2022
Hotel Success is a MUST for NGTF
My post stated my opinion about how I would rather see NGTF in hotels over Walmart - not sure how you can twist that to suggest that Sean considers loosing Walmart and the other supermarket distribution points as a "good thing"?
Anyway I do happen to agree with you that the hotel vertical will probably make or break NGTF.
IMO it will create the NEW Category....bring it on!!!
CEO NGTF Walmart
Can you please help all of us understand where you get the notion that the CEO NIghtfood states that;
"it's a good thing that NGTF lost Walmart and other grocery stores"
Sean has made it VERY clear that in the future, for the category of Sleep-Frinedly Nighttime Snacking to be fully established and accepted that NIghtfood will need to have full retail distribution.
Hotel Distribution is a stepping stone to retail - including Walmart.
Sean has NEVER stated (from what I have read) that it is a "good thing" to loose any retail distribution?
CRAZY!!!
Not my projections...............
There are many people with many opinions....But I to trust the results of a 6 month independent pilot trial by a Global Hotel Company.
It's just a matter of time.
Walmart Marriott NIghtfood....what a Trio?
You never know people, IF Marriott is the initial testing GHC we may see product in Walmarts new AC Hotel by Marriott that is being built on the campus of its (Walmarts) new Bentonville headquarters....how ironic would that be?
Marriott selected for Walmart hotel
Hotels >>>>>>>Walmart
IMO Nightfood having distribution in 1000 hotels, will always be better than 1000 Walmarts.
Let's see what the CEO of Nightfood has to say in the latest filings?
"To quantify, gross sales to Walmart totaled $44,330 during the three months ended March 31, 2022.
During this time, we were in over 900 Walmart stores.
Based on the results of the 2021 hotel retail pilot test, our projections indicate that new distribution in approximately 200-300 hotel locations would bring an increase in gross sales that would offset the decrease from this reduction in Walmart and supermarket distribution, with significantly stronger gross and net margins.
Hotel sales project to be significantly more profitable on a per unit basis, as sales are expected to be conducted at a higher wholesale price, and line items such as slotting, advertising, and pricing promotions project to be greatly reduced or entirely eliminated.
10-Q March 31, 2022
Where would you try to sell your product?
IMO we are close to hearing additional details on the new partnership that Nightfood has with the Global Hotel Company.
Below is a picture that shows 2 ice cream sets - one in a hotel and one in a supermarket.
Would you rather be in a hotel lobby shop and have 2 SKU's making up to 30-100% of the set or 3-4 SKU's out of over 400?
Where would you rather sell your product?
Let’s base all forward looking decisions on sales at the Marriott Beverly Hills?
Well at least we have received confirmation from the naysayers that Nightfood Hotel Distribution is actually taking place - although it has only been on shelf for about 3 weeks.
Using sales at one property to estimate sales of all properties is CRAZY!!
Let’s see what 4 Qtr sales look like maybe?
The more the better…..
Keep it up…..
Love your math!!!
Why am I so excited about NGTF?
There seems to be a strong correlation between positive news about the hotel distribution and the naysayers “riving up their engines” and trying to convince everyone that Nightfood is about to fail?
This could be a very interesting week indeed….
Amazing math mate….yeah nah!!!
You have to love the number 1.2?
I wonder where Sean got that number?
He did not pull it out of his ass that is for sure?
And he didn’t get it by reverse math on the "profit number" based on 4000 properties either.
It is my understanding that Sean was in fact provided this wonderful number (1.2) from the Global Hotel Company after that company performed a 6 month trial of selling Nightfood in a “handful of properties”......I could obviously be wrong on this assumption....but I don't think so.
It's CRAZY to make a calculation of annual sales based on apparent initial 3 week placement in one exclusive Marriott Courtyard?
I TRUST the number 1.2 as real world data and IMO the sales of May & June will support it.
1.2 is in reference only to the pints and not of what else is in the pipeline.
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
Is Sean here "in secret"?.
Sounds CRAZY to me.
Reading and posting is different. Anyone can read investor posts on a multitude of websites. If anyone wants to know why Sean is not making himself available on this website - all you need to do is go to the company social media page and ask him the question yourself. He is extremely transparent.
Something tells me Sean Folkson will be continuing to post on the company social media site. I cannot imagine he feels any obligation to read or respond to anything that is posted on this site.
But what do I know I’m just an investor?
We are on Earth.
NZ's Fonterra thinking outside the box...
It is not only Unilever that may be watching #NGTF
For those of you who have NEVER heard of New Zealand's Fonterra - Only responsible for 30% of the WORLD's dairy exports - maybe check them out and then read the article below;
Holistic food trend: Stress and sleep management gather speed as consumers seek out wellness “made easy”
Nightfood / Upscale Hotel / Nothing but Ice Cream!!!!
Nightfood is rolling out across the country into hotels or all shapes and sizes.
Some are only thinking Extended Stay Hotels are interested....and you would be incorrect in that assumption.
ANY HOTEL that has a freezer is a potential POS for a Sleep-Friendly Nighttime Snack like Nightfood.
Check out the post by the CEO Sean Folkson on the company SM site this morning from an "upscale hotel";
This is all you need to know........
Per the September 8th, 2021 PR;
"As a result, the testing chain has confirmed the decision to fully launch Nightfood into their lobby shop freezers chain-wide with an expected start date in the fourth quarter of 2021 or the first quarter of 2022."
Results of Pilot Study
Top 5 GHC Pilot Test has results
Looking at sales of one location over the past 2-3 weeks is CRAZY?
Why would you not trust the results of an independent 6 month pilot study performed by the company that is currently launching into over 500 extended stay locations.
They know that the product sells.
Twist things all want - Shareholders and Investors can see what is really happening here.
I really don’t care what price anyone sells it for? I care that everyone buys it from Vistar. ??
Any investor that follows you numbers is crazy?
You don't even seem to know what Nightfood sells the pints to Vistar?
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
$3.25
Got it mate?
Nightfood sells to Vistar for $3.25
So one of the NIghtfood shareholders states they called the Beverly Hills Marriott and were told that NIghtfood is selling for "$13 and change".
NIghtfood sells to Vistar at $3.25 per pint.
Vistar will add their cut when they sell it to the hotels.
Each hotel can charge whatever they want to charge.
Can't imagine that a lot of people will pay $13 for a NIghtfood pint? So it is possible that the Beverly Hills location will not see with the same velocity as the hotel that sells Nightfood at $6.50?
More important are the CEO comments via company SM site on May 22nd;
"Remember our targets: profitability before we hit 4K hotels, and 7,500 hotels by February"
I thought you said the hotel vertical was a scam?
So travis are you confirming that the product is actually for sale in the Beverly Hills Marriott?
I thought you said it was a scam?
I thought you said it was free product given to hotels?
Help me understand your current position about if the hotel vertical is for real?
Remington Hotel Group
I am pretty sure that you will find that the order was made by the Restaurant F&B manager through Vistar after the Remington Hotel Group made Nightfood a "Recommended Brand" status.
Nightfoods Remington Hotel Group "Recommended Brand" Status Press Release
Awesome!!!
Thanks for calling Travis - you are the man!!
You have just confirmed that Nightfood (10 pints) are in the freezer within the lobby shop at the Beverly Hills Marriott (The shop is likely located in the lobby of the hotel I am assuming?)
Your scam theory is well and truly busted by YOU!!
NGTF Distribution BLOWS UP!
There are two pictures.
1. Sean's post to the company's SM site (I obviously have no proof of where this freezer is located).
2. My picture of the Beverly Hills Marriott store that I copied from the internet - not to show Nightfood ice cream - but the size and prestigious nature of this lobby shop.
You are an 100% correct
The picture that Sean posted is current.
The picture that I posted is a picture off the internet of the lobby at the Beverly Hills Marriott.
Some be thinking....
But, but, but ...why are all of these hotels suddenly carrying Nightfood?
Maybe it is because one of the Top 5 GHC has partnered with Nightfood and shares the vision of Sean Folkson - that their guests should be provided the option of a sleep friendly nighttime snack?
The fuse has been lit people
Scam….Yeah Nah!!!
Oh what tangled webs we weave…..when first we practice to deceive. (sir Walter Scott, 1808)
There are some on this board that are trying to suggest that Nightfood launching into the hotel vertical is a “scam” (their attempt at deception).
The truth will soon be brought to light.
There are more pictures coming….
Not UFO….IFO (identified Frozen Object)
They can deny all they want - but something tells me we are about to see a crap ton of freezer pictures in the coming months.
NGTF Hotel Grab & Go
About to get REAL!!!
NGTF - Coast to Coast - Hilton - Rhode Island - NIghtfood - Boom!
Well the CEO posted a picture of NGTF in Woodland Hills area, CA.
And I am now posting this picture taken by someone at a Hilton in Rhode Island.
Looks like Nightfood is going Coast to Coast.?
Get used to these types of pictures as Nightfood continues it's National roll out.
Sorry boys....you can't stop what's right with your wrong.
Sleep-Friendly Nighttime Snacking Category.
As the CEO has stated on numerous occasions (on the #NGTF SM site) that this company is not a revenue play…but a category play.
How many hotels will Nightfood have to be sold into before the category is born?!?
1000, 2000 or 7500?!?
IF the next 6-9 months goes to plan then IMO Nightfood will have reached the “tipping point” and the category of;
Sleep-Friendly Nighttime Snacking
Will be born.
That makes so much sense!!
Sean is not getting desperate?
YOU think he says….”Hey let’s post a staged photo of a hotel lobby freezer…..that should convince people to buy more shares”
The ONLY thing Sean is “desperate to do” in my opinion is to release the name of the initial hotel partner.
Which one has over 500 properties?
