I don't like chasing either--particularly if I'm investing in a reputable company...While I love the technology of DPLS along with its almost limitless commercial applications, I'm still not convinced that Dennis O'Leary is the right man to guide this company to its desired destination...Since I'm significantly invested I hope I'm wrong but time will tell.
It always does...
C
Why not ask Dennis?!
If, by whales, you mean large institutional investors like Fidelity, Schwab, State Street, Vanguard or Black Rock, why would they come in at this point? Hedge funds and other notable money management firms aren't even allowed to look at pink sheet stocks like this--let alone offer them to investors. At a minimum we'd need to uplist to the QB or--better still--to the QX where a higher echelon of potential investors prospect for good companies.... Has the CEO indicated how he intends to get us there?
Just curious...
C
No one is talking about what the revised share total will be for DPLS investors after the company is merged and renamed...
Why???
C
So what is the significance of a 6-K filing, exactly?
Right Said, Fred...
Thanks!!
C
That's a valid point...
GLTUA!
C
Ok good...From what I understand it takes 60 days for the SEC to review and approve it--or am I wrong about that?
Buona fortuna a Tutti,
C
While I detest CEO's who issue empty, pie-in-the-sky "fluff" press releases I agree with you about Mr. Triant...I may have missed it because I don't check in with this stock that often, but it seems to me that there ought to have been meaningful updates about a name change or a quarterly filing at the very least by now...
Please forgive my skepticism but if I had a nickel for every pie-in-the-sky prediction like that regarding a young pink sheet company trading in the OTC I'd be farting through silk right now...
I hope I'm wrong about Cann American Corp but puh-lease...
Pump the brakes a bit...
C
At last! Someone who makes sense!!
Thx,
C
I hope something good will come of this investor-prospecting conference...before year's end with any luck
C
From what I understand, the $16 million dollars represents money that can be repaid with HUBC shares or other company equity...I guess that can be a good thing provided that profits increase proportionally...
We'll see...
C
Based on what??
I went to stockanalysis.com/stocks/hubc/statistics/ and found the following blurb about HUBC:
Share Statistics
HUBC has 123.47 million shares outstanding. The number of shares has increased by 490.90% in one year.
Shares Outstanding 123.47M
_________________________________________________________________
So what's the yardstick for a small cap stock?? To me, HUBC's OS isn't significantly high at all. As a matter of fact I see it as something of a thin trader whose comparatively low share count can cause sharp price swings in both directions...
JMO,
C
That's what I said...The operative phrase is "For Now"....which implies that a reverse split in the future is still a possibility...But he also stated that the most extreme reverse split--if undertaken at all--would be one share for every three held by current stockholders...So if you started with 3,000 shares trading at one dollar you'd end up with one thousand shares trading at three dollars instead...
It may be disturbing, but it should hardly be surprising given the careless, irresponsible behaviors and lack of accountability by Mark Schmidt (and his CFO?) that caused this six month clusterf*ck to begin with...
C
Quite possibly...For a while now it's felt to me like Brett Rosen is full of that moist, brown smelly stuff that exits the rear orifice of a bull...For all of our sakes I hope I'm wrong
C
Uh huh...
I'm not holding my breath...
As long as our CEO doesn't reveal any prospective contract signings or other potential deals, a simple reminder to shareholders indicating that there are other market-worthy products in our inventory that aren't connected to the war effort shouldn't be a legal breach of protocol--or would it?
Maybe he's already said so and I missed it...But if not, a Mark Schmidt reminder to shareholders that Cyberlux has marketable products other than the drones we so often hear about would keep US-based shareholders from dumping the stock in the absence of favorable news even though they're blocked from making stock purchases until further notice...
Please read very carefully regarding ILUS & QIND...It explains pretty well why I'm not purchasing any additional shares of either for the time being...
https://samakerfinance.com/qind-fy-2022-10k-review-and-issues/
I'm holding several tons of ILUS shares already...If JPB and his administrators do what they say they're going to do I'll be fine...If not, I'll have a substantial tax write-off
for years to come...
C
No, when it comes to stocks I'm afraid that's not true...Things don't always turn around--particularly if you're talking about companies that trade on the OTC (Too many Moon Market specials to recount here...)
But I hope things do so in a major way for ILUS's shareholders in the very near future...Ditto for CYBL...
C
Once again. listeners are hearing what they choose to hear and ignoring contrary information...If you listen carefully, Stavros states very clearly that while he's not contemplating a reverse split RIGHT NOW, it's possible that he'd consider a 1:2 or, at worst, a 1:3 reverse split prior to an uplist...He said that at least once during the interview...
C
I'm inclined to doubt it, but that would be nice...
All right thanks for posting the vid...There was the oft-repeated 'Hang-in-There' mantra (in this case for another thirty days) along with unspecified references to all the things CYBL has going on behind the scenes...But the product most shareholders are familiar with is their drone technology...Advanced lighting used to be our thing, but I rarely hear anything about it anymore...That's fine, (sort of) but are our unmanned vehicles any better than those of our competitors? And even if they are, do we have other significant projects in the pipeline if belligerents in the Ukraine or other theaters address their drone supply needs via contracts with rival companies? As a shareholder I'd really like to hear more about other saleable items--provided there are any.... I did hear the host's plug for DVLP (again), but not very much else of significance that we haven't heard before...
C
Ok thanks anyway....Whatever was said during the interview the stock price didn't budge afterwards, so I'm guessing it contained the usual underwhelming pablum--lacking in substance or meaningful revelations...
C
Significantly lower than the eighty cents it was sitting at after Friday's close, regrettably...
Just my gut feeling
C
I thought that senior exchanges like the NASDAQ and the NYSE would be less susceptible to shorting or other manipulative behaviors as well, but I guess not. Despite some impressive contracts with the Pentagon and VISA, et al, this company isn't well established with large institutional investors just yet (Think hedge funds like Black Rock, Vanguard and State Street...) So I'd give HUBC a little more time before equating them with run-of-the-mill pink sheet stocks at this point...
Now if we're still having this same conversation about HUB Cybersecurity six months from now--or even in early July--you can bet that the natives will be more than a little restless...and I'm not just talking about the Perma-Bashers over on Stocktwits and Yahoo Finance...
C
Owing to the length of time it's taken thus far to straighten this CE kerfuffle out I've grown almost as cynical as the most hard-boiled prophets of doom on Yahoo Finance or Stocktwits...That noted, I really don't know what Brett Rosen might gain by telling everyone that everything will finally be resolved one month (or so) from now if he knows it's actually a false prediction...Then again, there's not much any of the shareholders can do to him for kicking the can down the road and stringing everyone along (if that's what he's really doing) just to bide time while the OTC's administrators go over all of the attorneys' documentation with a fine toothed comb...
GLTA,
C
Can you re-post the link, please?
About the same odds as getting struck by lightning on a clear day...
If the 30 day forecast was coming directly from an OTC official I'd be a lot less skeptical....
C
From his lips to Jehovah's ears...Ho hum...
Again, so what else is new?
No more than the rest of us, sadly...
So what else is new?
DPLS???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Shareholders know this already--the honest ones anyway...The problem is that the King, unfortunately, either doesn't know or else is too self-absorbed (and deluded) to care...
