Here's how easy it is… you find competitors ads at the link you provided me... https://www.google.com/#q=video+hosting+solutions
Then you find that company's Facebook page and post on there; your posts will show up like this:

You don't need to convert and encode video anymore!
Darn straight! We also know a skunk by its white stripes, do we not?
... and you purport to be a long-term long position stockholder? Your posts, your attitude, your slant just DO NOT match those of someone who has a long position in this stock. PERIOD
Don't try to pass yourself off as someone currently holds a long position in DSNY. You are either shorting for your own account or here to represent the negative opinion favorable to some large short seller.
People should undertake to post that video around on other streaming media company stock message boards don't you think?
It would be nice if that video had about 400,000 views by now.
How about a list of company message boards That are competitive in this industry? I know I'll post to 4 or 5; nothing ventured nothing gained!
TThanks Mac, that is the kind of data we really need to see and keep seeing posted on here. Great idea, great execution!
Cashless exercise of the stock options. The transaction was approved by the Board of Directors.
Explanation of Responses:
( 1) Reflects 75,000 stock options cancelled by the issuer in exchange for a cash payment of $90,000 representing the difference between the low market price on January 9, 2014, being $1.70 per share, less the exercise of $0.50 per share ($1.20). The funds will be used by the insider to fund the tax liability associated with the cashless exercise of the stock options. The transaction was approved by the Board of Directors.
( 2) Reflects 19,841 shares withheld by the issuer at a price of $1.89 per share less the exercise price of $0.50 per share to fund the cashless exercise of stock options held by Mr. Vandenberg, which cashless exercise was approved by the Board of Directors.

Thank you for reminding us because sometimes we forget who is who. It's perfectly understandable why Brooklyn13 is always on here with a slightly or overtly negative commentary.
I just hope that he gets banned from these boards permanently. Although today his nonsense turned out to be of some use… for those that didn't know it, now we do know for sure that up listing will absolutely create more demand for the stock. That's due to the requirement for index funds, ETF's, the Russell 2000 as an example, to hold a proportionately representative amount of any NASDAQ listed stock.
Here below my comments, is the reprint you are talking about, but first—
As a self-proclaimed holder of a long core position in DSNY you do go to an awful lot of trouble to poke holes in any thesis that is on a positive bias. I don't intend to put you on Ignore, but I do intend to call you out every time you post comments that are not in line with facts or not in line with your purported long "core" position.
Now if you want to save YOURSELF some trouble, go right ahead and put me on ignore.
Here is what Van thinks is going to happen in a very near future
(from his latest Update):

Insider buying followers. Management said they would be executing an employee purchase program. In addition, this combined with the employee options that were exercised/converted should be reflected in S.E.C. filings. There are a lot of investors that will invest in companies just based on insider buying alone.
Likewise, there are two other conditions that could be developing in the next couple weeks.
Uplist investors. As we already know, Destiny has announced they will be trying to get uplisted to the NASDAQ. There are investors that will buy ahead of this event. Savvy investors, knowing that a NASDAQ listing brings in institutional investors, try to buy ahead of this uplisting.
Short-squeeze investors. There are investors (we know some of them) that will specifically target a short-squeeze opportunity. As subscribers know, there may be a very large naked short position (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_short_selling) in DSNY (we have discussed many times before). As previously stated in our first January update, they WOULD NOT want to see Destiny get NASDAQ listed. In a smartly calculated move by the BOD, not stating a specific reverse split ratio prohibits a short-seller from knowing what price to keep the stock trading under to prevent this. Indeed, for the past 4-6 weeks notice how there was serious resistance at $2 the closer DSNY got to receiving NASDAQ approval. We don’t think this was a coincidence. Even more, this shorting entity now knows Destiny could implement an undetermined reverse split by the shareholder’s meeting February 25, 2014. Besides, DSNY would only need the stock to trade at $3 (after or before a split occurs) for five trading days and they determine if/when to reverse split keeping any naked short guessing. With all this being said, there is very much a possible short-squeeze situation setting up here. Rest assured, if HTFBSN sees this starting to develop, we plan to notify our short-busting friends.
In our opinion, the reason this alleged naked short couldn’t be busted before, is that the amount of available shares they could sell previously has been unlimited. At a stock price of $1.99, the company has a market capitalization of roughly$100M. In this case, the shares are still unlimited, but the price and market cap they would have to continue selling short could be down to $31M.
Any other reasons you don't think DSNY is a buy right now? Because that's the drift I'm getting...
I don't think I heard anyone say to buy now based on insider buying alone (no Form 4s have even been filed yet, something everybody here knows),so you've set up another strawman to be knocked down. For what?
A Couple days ago this article appeared on streamingmedia.com:
Hulu: All Our Google Chromecast Streaming Uses MPEG-DASH
DASH is in place today, Hulu says; HEVC will need to wait until there's hardware support on mobile devices to prevent battery drain.
By Troy Dreier
After the short article, there was a 58 min. panel discussion with these MPEG-DASH experts:
Moderator: Richard Doherty, Director, E-Media Technology Strategy, Dolby Laboratories
Speaker: Baptiste Coudurier, Principal Software Development Lead, Hulu
Speaker: Thierry Fautier, VP, Solutions and Strategy, Harmonic
Speaker: Aytac Biber, Sr. Product Manager, Qualcomm
Then there was the user comment posted in the comments section:
"Why do the videos on Streaming Media require Flash? If you're having trouble delivering HTML5 video then just put it on DailyMotion or Vimeo or YouTube or something and let them do it for you.
The silly thing about the way you're doing video at the moment is that if the browser's user agent is changed to claim it's an iPad, the videos play without Flash just fine. There's clearly no technical problem with delivering HTML5 video. It's either a poor provider (Bright Cove) or poor configuration.
Break out of the Flash ghetto, boys. HTML5 video works better and works in more places. Use it."
All this technology goes right over my head. Clearly if someone on this board understands what all this information means in terms of what Clipstream has to offer, they would be the one that could possibly post a comment back on the Comments section of streaming media.com; I'm not the one to do it. I did cobble together a comment, based on some of Steve's replies todsny2014, responding to the Chuck Hudson interview HTML5 Video Element to Gain Interactivity, posted on streaming media on December 30.
Can someone please let Chuck Hudson (and other major industry contacts) know that the technology already exists and the name of it is CLIPSTREAM!
I would like to hear justthefactsmam's follow-up comment to your post, IF it were forthcoming I think it would say something like you can have the best technology in the world BUT if you can't effectively market it, then gradually you are going to lose your edge. Lesser products have been known to outsell and displace better ones — meanwhile, other companies play catch-up and Overtake you!
We need to see some evidence of adoption soon.
You are about as clear, consistent and straightforward in your most recent post as you were back two weeks ago in this beauty of a post:
You wrote on January 14: "- I've concluded that we're lucky for DSNY to be selling for more than $1, at this point in time." [my note — DSNY ranged that day from $1.40 to $1.57]
Earlier, in the same paragraph you wrote: "I'll continue to hold a core position. Why sell?"
Does the left brain know what the right brain is doing?
Looking at the latest 10 – Q
I did not know that they derived about half of their revenue from the United Kingdom:
$436,171 (2012: $408,446) was derived from the United Kingdom during the three months ended November 30, 2013.
As of November 30, 2013 Destiny had $1.4 million in cash and equivalents and only $143,000 in accounts payable vs. almost $600,000 in accounts receivable.
How much funds do you think Destiny needs to "Do this right?"
The idea of selling the company is ludicrous.
I don't think you spinoff a division or segment of your company until you have it up and running full bore.
Interesting panel discussion from online video.net about the hurdles for Online Video Advertising. I know that Destiny Media is targeting this area:

Here is an article from the same site titled: How to choose the best H.264 Video encoding tool. Are these all the encoders/encoding that Steve is saying won't be needed when using Clipstream? I'm not terribly tech savvy so perhaps someone can clue me in...
There’s an art to using video encoding programs, and it’s all about getting the best results at the lowest file size. H.264 is the most commonly used video codec right now, and delivering high quality H.264 videos is critical for sites of any size.
DigitalVideoWant to know what to encode with for great H.264 files? Robert Reinhardt, founder of VideoRx.com, is happy to tell you. One minute into his recent Streaming Media West presentation on how to evaluate H.264 encoders he gave the big reveal: FFmpeg is the best choice around.
“I’ll give you the conclusion, which is you can pretty much accomplish the best encoding with FFmpeg and x264, right? There is no way to get around the fact that Sorenson and Telestream and Harmonic or whoever decides to license x264, well, we all have access to those same parameters in FFmpeg. It’s the same exact codec,” Reinhardt said.

I typed: video hosting solution into Google and the ad shows up on the ad bar on the right in the third position. That's how it showed up for me anyway.
Nice to see the new advertising right there on Google! Naturally I did not click through on it, but that is a good point... mentioning that every click costs Destiny money.
Question: are any of the videos shown on the Destiny Media website new or have they all been there for a while? I confess to never having visited that particular page before.

Thanks for posting that BlueSky, here is the link to the Streaming Media Industry Directory (Sourcebook) page showing the Clipstream Profile, their online resources links and their featured video.

Sorry if I'm stressing you out bro.
I am not looking for a PR (Re-read what I wrote). That will come when it comes— I understand That. Steve did not state when a PR would come, did he?
He did however state that we could search on Google using two specific search terms and find evidence of Clipstream advertising. He said that a long time ago... I haven't seen anything when I search for those search terms...
At the first Quarter of fiscal 2014 Conference Call on January 14 Steve said: "We're starting some search engine advertising this week, and we expect to be more aggressive in about two weeks with advertising and PR efforts. And we'll continue to ramp it up and increase it as we get positive feedback from users."
Can you please point me to any of this search engine advertising?
Steve should start hitting his time targets is all I am saying. Don't say you are going to do something "this week" and then not do anything "this week." It is far better to underpromise. The more feedback he gets asking for targets to be met, the more likely he will start delivering on the promised targets, in this case, the promise of Search engine advertising done last week.
Google's testing will push all other ISPs to provide much higher bandwidth.
Right, if we can all only get the word out!
I hate to sound like the typical impatient investor that I surely am, but didn't Steve say that we would see evidence of marketing "next week?"
Well, that was said early last week and now is Next Week!
Where is the marketing? Tomorrow the week ends.
I for one would like to see that things get done within the time frame that Steve says it will be done!
dsny guy, can you pass that along to Steve too?
Ni lerdo ni perezozo! Which means I'm on it like white on rice.
… There is a lot more activity (and therefore interest) in the other pick that you referred to, which has only 2 1/2 times as many shares outstanding while volume on its shares exceeds volume on Sphere by an average of 10 to 1, usually more.
Did you send the link to our other CEO so that he can get busy "flattering?"
Good post. Thank you for that info.
So we won't know for sure until February 11 probably.
Thanks for getting that info and updating us here. Pretty decent close today on higher than average volume ending up nearly at the high of the day.
THAT WOULD SEEM TO indicate that insiders haven't purchased yet but the window is open. That's good on the surface.
How long does it take for a 4S filing to show up on NASDAQ.com? I'm assuming they don't show up the very same day they are filed. I also assume the insider buyers have a couple of days to report their purchases and sales. Maybe we will know by the end of the week... anyone familiar with how this chronology works please fill us in.
January 17 was really the first day of the window, and that was Friday, and we had big buys on Friday.
HTFBS Was recommending/covering three stocks. One is Destiny, another is XXII, right? I noticed that Timothy Sykes bought and sold that one on January 13. What is the other stock of the Big Three? Thanks
No Form 4S have shown up yet, which means there could be some nice insider buying yet to come…
Last year it was January 31 that they chose, and 2012 it was February 29. It would really be a sign of confidence if the four major holders that are insiders would add another equal or greater number of shares:

Time to ask Steve if insiders have purchased? That's one way to drop a strong hint.
No one is more interested in seeing the stocks up above two dollars than Steve is I'm thinking.
Shorts would then be forced to cover! Big-time.
We could use hot money Timothy Sykes right now too, although some will differ.
Find a dog to eat a dog.
The market doesn't like uncertainty.
Thanks for the cryptic message. That adds to uncertainty for this unable-to-piece-the-pieces together guy lol
Talking about illegal naked shorting using Canadian brokers maybe?
Right now trading at the high of the day, volume was at least 20% greater than usual, looks like most of the newsletter readers have entered.
I haven't seen any evidence of marketing yet.
What were those two search phrases they were supposed to keep an eye out for?
Streaming video hosting?
Streaming video service?
Anyone remember exactly what Steve said to search for?
(I'm not expecting much of a retracement. Here's why: a lot of people got left behind on Friday, and I'm talking about some of the big holders here that indicated either directly or indirectly that they had sold a substantial number of shares and now are holding core positions. These and other people will try to purchase around $1.75, if they get the chance to do so. Printing $1.98 now so I'm beginning to wonder if they'll get their chance.
Not missing some of the big yaps that showed up last week and have now disappeared since they took it up the derrière.
That was me, typos and all lol.
http://www.streamingmedia.com is a very interesting website.
Interesting, not a very fuzzy feeling. Please keep us posted when you will be able to see the clip.

Get bent over a barrel. I dislike you with a vengeance. No hope there.
I can't help hoping that people like Gio and other obvious short sellers, especially if they are bashers, get totally caught out of position and are run over by a truckload of buyers, figuratively speaking.
Something is cooking for that kind of volume to come in quickly as longtime observers have explained.
I think the next time the stock drops down to $1.50, if it does, more people will consider doubling down or reestablishing their positions, especially if we see evidence of marketing or there is some other decent piece of news.
Somebody mentioned Timothy Sykes. Find a dog to eat a dog, eh?
"No shouting from the rooftops, no deep pocket investors, no simple path to up listing, no nothing, just a proposed R/S and more BS.
Put the blame where it belongs!!!"
No one is blaming Van for those items you listed. He can sure be criticized for other things, however that is a separate matter.
I think your point here is valid that Steve has not been able to accomplish YET... let's see where things stand one month from today in mid-February. I think that it is natural and even beneficial that people are criticizing management; management needs to feel the pressure to perform being applied– I am sure they are feeling it right now. It might make them explore some of the possibilities being suggested.
Unfortunately, a lot of the investors that sold off or sold out completely will not be back easily. Psychologically, the company loses its attraction and the investor loses his interest and moves on to other things. I hope I am wrong and this does not happen here. But, especially if Destiny moves up quickly again, they would just watch it rise without participating. I know becauseI have been guilty of doing that in 2013 with more than one stock. Once I'm out, I'm out. Shouldn't be that way but often ends up that way.
