A Couple days ago this article appeared on streamingmedia.com:

Hulu: All Our Google Chromecast Streaming Uses MPEG-DASH
DASH is in place today, Hulu says; HEVC will need to wait until there's hardware support on mobile devices to prevent battery drain.
By Troy Dreier

After the short article, there was a 58 min. panel discussion with these MPEG-DASH experts:

Moderator: Richard Doherty, Director, E-Media Technology Strategy, Dolby Laboratories
Speaker: Baptiste Coudurier, Principal Software Development Lead, Hulu
Speaker: Thierry Fautier, VP, Solutions and Strategy, Harmonic
Speaker: Aytac Biber, Sr. Product Manager, Qualcomm

Then there was the user comment posted in the comments section:

"Why do the videos on Streaming Media require Flash? If you're having trouble delivering HTML5 video then just put it on DailyMotion or Vimeo or YouTube or something and let them do it for you.

The silly thing about the way you're doing video at the moment is that if the browser's user agent is changed to claim it's an iPad, the videos play without Flash just fine. There's clearly no technical problem with delivering HTML5 video. It's either a poor provider (Bright Cove) or poor configuration.

Break out of the Flash ghetto, boys. HTML5 video works better and works in more places. Use it."

All this technology goes right over my head. Clearly if someone on this board understands what all this information means in terms of what Clipstream has to offer, they would be the one that could possibly post a comment back on the Comments section of streaming media.com; I'm not the one to do it. I did cobble together a comment, based on some of Steve's replies todsny2014, responding to the Chuck Hudson interview HTML5 Video Element to Gain Interactivity, posted on streaming media on December 30.
