No alert. I was just replying to a late-comer who decided to post under the scam theme.
I hope that something positive is developing in the company, other than the previous announcements/discoveries of new sales venues with emptying inventories. Is there an announcement forthcoming? Just wondering because a new scam-alerter has appeared, despite the knowledge of the immense distribution network that LC has developed. Other than the present PPS & lack of financials, I wish to know what other criteria lends itself to ID'ing LYJN as a so-called scam? Does a lack of easy-access DD render a company a scam? I'm just trying to figure out what brought the newest poster to this LYJN-scam conclusion. TIA & GLTALs.
I would have preferred a stock buy-back instead of issuing a dividend, as an alternative to the pending RS.
The name Lyric Culture is establishing a very ubiquitous presence in the consumers' market, with a bare minimum of fanfare; all reflecting Hanna's drive to see her vision through. No fluff. Her associates/contacts all seem to be in the right places within the industry, which is the dream of all entrepreneurs. And we're in the right place at the right time. GLTALs.
On another note: please pardon the mixed message with the smiley-face in this message, but my heart hurts for those victims/families in CT.
I'd like to know, what particular factor places LYJN in the "if it sounds too good to be true, then ...." group?
No Lyrix shirt on the voice tonight...
Romans828, shirt sales is what I was referring to. You are absolutely right, as far as the investment community is concerned. However, successful sales does increase visibility of LC though, increasing inventory movement/demand.
I couldn't agree more. But to look at where we were 3 yrs. ago to where we are now, the proof is in the pudding about our REAL presence in the world. Tonight's airing of The Voice is going to be interesting; to see if there will be an after-affect after Juliet's performance. My guess is that if she gives a great performance, the interest in Her Song themed (Lyrix) shirt will soar. Let's all wish her the best with her performance.
For some, LYJN would make a great tuck-away play. You know, check in on it every now and then to minimize the frustration of daily anticipation for positive developments. If one follows the half-empty glass state-of-mind, this is definitely not the stock to become involved with. And yet, I suggest that anyone with knowledge of LYJN to keep an eye out for those positive developments and be ready to jump as soon as those financials are released, but imho, that will be "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late"!
There acually was one (IR dept) prior to the economic melt-down; a pretty decent one, I might add. Yes, the communication/transparency factors are indeed impeding the immediate acceptance of this stock. Be that as it may, there are many to whom that factor is not a particular concern and are willing to wait it out; to allow Hanna to complete her vision. IMHO, I believe she's almost there.
Granted, there is a lack of PRs; but if one gets added to LC's email list, he or she would receive special announcements from the company.
The dialogue from this past week-end's threads have proven very enlightening for me (and probably many other techno-deficient investors and followers). Those threads might provide great DD and insight for someone new to WSGI, imho. Thank you, All, for your input and GLTALs.
Lyric_Rocks, the links that you provided really reflects the depth of the network that Hanna is forming. From the FAF site...
http://www.faf.com/news.html (No mention of Lyric Culture, but this is a portion of the distribution network that LC is using to reach its target; imho. Lyric_Rocks... thanks).
Fashion Accessories First Acquires Catherine Stein Design of New York - Move Will Enable Expansion into New Markets
GREENVILLE, R.I. – Nov. 13, 2008 – Fashion Accessories First, Inc. (FAF), one of the leading suppliers of fashion jewelry and accessories to retailers worldwide, today announced that it has acquired Manhattan-based Catherine Stein Design, which designs and markets fashion jewelry.
The acquisition will enable FAF to expand its product offering and increase the production capability of Catherine Stein Design to take its brands into new markets.
“This move combines the unique strengths of each company, and will create new opportunities to serve the growing fashion jewelry market,” said FAF President Arthur F. Fiorenzano.
Established in 1971 as a boutique resource, Catherine Stein Design grew since then into a leading trend jewelry brand. It operates a 10,000-square-foot showroom at 38th Street in Manhattan. (download complete press release)
What does the CATHERINE STEIN name signify?
I'm waiting now for a televised spot, from Hanna. I can wish...
GLTALs.
Oops... Schmieder. EOM.
Shmieider is her birth name, Rochelle is her middle name, Solomon - married.
Good for you, MIKEY501. I can appreciate your move. You're living proof that money can be made with LYJN; even way down here (sub-penny that is).
Footwear?... coming soon.
Hanna amazes me. For some reason, I think I'm beginning to understand the course she's taken in developing LYJN. Go Lyric... and, GLTALs.
Product creativity at its best. I wonder what the designs would have been like if Gamila Fakhry had been retained as Vice President of Product Development & Creative Direction, in 2006, given her past success as a Hollywood game-player? She informed me that there was creative incompatibility between her and Hanna though. Be that as it may, the present designs that have been marketed work well imho.
My guess is that the bulk of those reflected just happened to be off from work today, and are spending some time online. At this stage of the game, I can't imagine anyone having the scoop on forth-coming PR(s) from LYJN; but it would be nice if that is the case. Anyway GLTALs and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
Let's all hope that she has her telepathy switch in the on position.
Let's see... Accessories. Blankets. Hoodies. Jeans. Jewelry. Leathers. Scarves. T-shirts.
Country. Disco. Gospel. Pop. Rock-n-Roll. Soul. Tween.
Big-box stores. High-end retailers. Internet/Online. Jewelers. Specialty shops.
What's left ...? Oh yea; financials, dammit(sp)! The only missing element form LC's success story, imho. GLTALs.
Thanks for your efforts, 99.
So, should some one Google Lyric Culture, a link to the iBox on this board appears to provide an optimum review of merchandise and promos; if that answers your question, Arnold. I occasionally run across links to discussions about LYJN on iHub when Googling LC. So I was thinking the link directs the viewer to the iBox; perhaps a new inquirer.
Would it be permissible to make the LYJN iBox link, on this board, available on Google or You-Tube?
Thank you, too, Time Of Wonder for your efforts. Much appreciated.
99..................
Too bad the iBox for this board isn't referenced and sanctioned by LYJN, but that's understandable. I went through the length of it for the first time since it's been updated. I now see the source of the compliments given you for the work that was put in. It is enlightening and insightful. I commend you, and thank you.
Thanks for the dialogue, Nikodemos. It was indeed constructive.
My reason for being here as an investor is purely Speculative, and the influence of others' opinions (negative or otherwise) is totally ineffective. But, beyond the immediate understanding of dissuasion tactics in the industrial complex is an exercise called Psyops. Not to say that's your MO, but it translates to me as such, with all due respect.
Nikodemos, I really appreciate your seemingly objective perspective. Every statement is noteworthy, however, your message expresses a sense of urgency; as if you know the burn-rate of resources that LYJN uses to operate. Do you? Until the relevant info is released, every perspective posted here is conjecture; pro or con. Readers of these posts should be aware of sublime posting tactics. But thanks for your view on the company. Who knows? It could prove compelling, but not with me personally and at this point in time, no one knows what tomorrow holds for LYJN. Also bear in mind the speculative role that LYJN plays in the portfolio(s) of some investors here. And I still say GLTALs.
Hi wickw50. Welcome back. I hope that this is real. Ok, so AIDO has been reinstated, but by the flurry of new/repeated/non-informative posts, it seems to me that a P&D is brewing. Granted, AIDO might be trying to get its act together (maybe), which make the conditions right for a P&D. I haven't seen a PR from the company yet and if there's one out the, somebody, please post it. Otherwise, investors BEWARE. I hope that I am proven wrong. GLTA who's in for the right reason. All imho.
Lyric Culture is still up-and-coming. imho. We (as investors) have products that are now distributed world-wide; from some of the most popular up-scale department stores, boutiques, jewelers, mail-order merchants, and big-box stores, etc... Yet there are some who insist that LYJN is a so-called scam. This might not be the company to place one's money, unless, he/she is willing sit on the side and gauge the accomplishments of the company as they develop. I can positively say that I've watched LYJN (not the earlier stock) from its infancy and climbed on board about four months later. I have NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER about LC's veracity. I just ask that the scam-callers list any company with merchandise with a comparable inventory available to the marketplace, like LYJN, and have been labeled a scam. Please pardon the rant. GLTALs
99, I clicked that link. Aside from the designs for LC's products, that site has an equivalent beauty, in my eyes. We can never get enough exposure, but this indeed comes close. Thanks for sharing.
How's that for exposure?! Hanna's proving herself and the company to be serious about the task at hand. This company seems to be running a parallel course of a fine wine or liquor's slow aging process. Thanks for the link.
topcat1484, fwiw, $6.00 is unattainable, given the present share structure; but I admire your encouragement. My thoughts are, if we're lucky, we might reach the 0.35 to 0.45 range. That might place the market cap in the $200m to $300m range in the near-term. I don't see a reason for this company to not become an upper hundred million dollar company down the road, and I truly hope that I am way off (low) in my guess. My numbers are unqualified guesses at that. GLTU.
...and then I happened upon this one:http://pinterest.com/lyricculture/ I believe that the name Lyric Culture is indeed becoming readily recognizable.
Here's a nice link to LC's site. http://acifootwear.com/brands/lyric-culture/ Could this be LC's primary marketer (ACI International)? It could be a somewhat older site. I just haven't seen it before. GLTALs.
I have to hand it to Hanna. Her marketing effectiveness has an apparent magnetic appeal. Early on with her product debut, Hanna was able to harness Saks Fifth Avenue to carry some LYJN products; all the while some detractors were calling the company a scam. And now Lord & Taylor? But consider the boutiques, specialty shops, chain stores, and jewelers too. Hanna, keep on doing what you're doing! Imho, LYJN has definitely established an identifiable presence in the marketplace, and still growing. Come on Hanna, take us to the next level. It will come, but only Hanna knows when. GLTALs.
LYJN...
It keeps growing, and growing, and growing...
Thanks MaKiT'.
