Whether or not this VC is affiliated or will be affiliated with KBLB is anyone’s guess. Keep in mind, based off of the comparison chart of other companies on KBLB’s website, KBLB is the most environmentally friendly method of all the silk companies.
Now, take that for what it is but this VC did state that was a criteria they were looking for when supporting a company.
Actions speak louder than words, especially with this company but things feel a little more bullish since the last PR about Cietnam.
From website:
Look for the Q3 Issue of Spider Sense on October 31st after market close
Could this be part of a different strategy where KBLB starts paying for advertising in some key areas?
Newsletter next week? Maybe after the newsletter we’ll start to see news come in the following week.
Just got this email from the company.

Based off of DD Simp or just guessing? Hopefully some impactful news soon.
Steve- enjoy reading your posts. The product does work. I've used it in the past. What's the next piece of news we get in your opinion? Thanks.
Big things happening with this company. Loved the news today. Legit product with sales.
What are the expectations for BIEL's products being in retail stores come September? Seems like if the company is going to make a move with the SP that will be the time.
You happy with that DB if that is the case? Does the SP move in the right direction because of that number? Thanks!
Someone just did.
Facebook reminded me today that this time last year Kraig opens Vietnam office. Hopefully soon we get news that Vietnam is a go.
You think dollars Q when this is all said and done?
Did anyone get confirmation that the newsletter is scheduled for the 20th of this month or was that just an educated guess based off of last years newsletter? I don't see anything posted yet on the website and I want to temper people's expectations if we don't get one next week.
Thanks Sick for that dd. Do you feel more confident things are about to explode from here on out? Got to think we are close. T
So wait. You are saying there will be big PR's or not? Just trying to follow along carp. It would be nice if this week started a trend of some game changing news that moved the SP significantly.
Steely, awesome post a couple weeks back regarding your conversation with Christie. I'm curious what you think that buyout number could be once we get to that point? Thanks again for your DD.
Needless to say, it does look like we are going to be getting updates/news soon. Cautiously optimistic.
Very nice news this morning. Also, cam across this article the other day. Would be great if KBLB was involved in any way.

People have been doing that Fred for years now. That's not going to change how they do things. Either stay in or get out. Like it or not, this is what we are working with. Let's hope Kim pulls it off in the end.
That's assuming they can read Bob.
Yankee, let us know which questions they addressed of yours in the newsletter later today if you can. Also, did you feel pretty confident things were progressing with the company in a positive way after that conversation? Thanks!
Reading this message board sometimes makes me squirm. lol.
So, after taking a couple of days to digest the latest PR es1, is it more of a minor speed bump than anything else?
Sure you can. Just look at the other penny stocks you're invested in. Don't kid yourself, most are filled with incompetent people. Kblb will succeed it's just a question of how much.
ANN ARBOR, Mich., - April 17, 2017 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announced today that it is expanding domestic recombinant spider silk production capacity with the purchase and installation of a new commercial scale cocoon processing machine. This new equipment arrived in early April, is being installed now, and is expected to be fully operational before the end of the month.
This machine replaces a much smaller cocoon processing machine the Company has been using to produce materials under a contract with the US Army. The increased capacity and efficiency this new equipment offers will free up production staff and lower overall costs.
Over the next month the Company plans to supply the Army with sample single filament Dragon Silk fibers for independent testing and to have the first batch of finished Dragon Silk thread ready for knitting into Ballistic shootpacks. The Company anticipates completing the additional silk necessary for producing the woven shootpacks for the US Army in the third quarter. This newly installed equipment is expected to play an important role in meeting this new timeline.
“In many cases, up until now, we’ve been working with research scale equipment as we transitioned out of the laboratory,” said COO Jon Rice. “We had originally hoped to have completed all silk production for the first Army contact by now. That timeline, in consultation with our customer, has been extended due to challenges that a third party vendor had in scheduling and processing as well as the throughput limitations of our production facility in its first month of operations. This new equipment can process more cocoons in one hour than we currently process in a month and it is expected to play an important role in meeting the new timeline. This new commercial scale machine is expected to sustain our domestic production capacity through 2019 and reduce labor costs significantly.”
In addition to its planned expansion of domestic production, the Company, as earlier announced, is working to establish a significant overseas production operation.
I think that's a very safe assumption. Next two months will tell us a lot with regards to where we are and where we are headed as a company. I'm cautiously optimistic.
So much depends on Vietnam coming through. Even though it looks promising I need to officially see a PR that we are in business over there go get really excited.
Someone on twitter is doing some serious leg work for kblb. Even Bolt Threads liked one of their tweets which was praising Kblb.
This is the type of grassroots marketing campaign the company should be doing. Short tweets that target companies/individuals in the textile field. I have no idea if it's Ben or someone else but it's good to see.
This board used to be fun and enjoyable to read. Over the last two weeks it's become unbearable. It's the same three or four people that one week like the company then the next can't stand what Kim is doing. Nobody else is posting except the same few people because the conversation has been dumb downed so much.
But haven't you trusted him all this time to still be invested? Progress is being made. If it's not good enough for you maybe kblb isn't worth your time and money.
Do you feel this has already happened Yankee?
What's everything think about when news will come out regarding the agreement with Vietnam? Tomorrow? Next week? A month? I've got to think it's going to happen pretty quickly based off of all the good DD people have done on this board.
Nice find Jazz. I've always been a tad disappointed that Norte Dame hasn't been a little more vocal to tout the accomplishments of Kblb considering the involvement of Dr. Fraser. They are a huge shareholder after all and give instant credibility to the company, especially when you talk to other potential investors. Hopefully we see more of this moving forward.
I did email MJ Clark the other day after his most recent article about the company. He's from the Wyoming Business Report. He's written about them in the past and it was nice to see him do it again. Anyways, below was his response after I reached out and asked if he will continue to follow and report on the Kblb story:
"Yes, we will continue to follow this company’s progress, given the technology’s start at UW - and the fact that it’s just plain fascinating!"
How long do we think this final process takes with the central government of Vietnam? I have a good friend who has a significant amount of shares that thinks that by the time we are ready to set up shop it will be at least six months.
I believe it will be much sooner but with bureaucracy you just never know. He's been skeptical of Vietnam from the start because of their government.
Also, I've got to think an announcement about financing, in addition to other developments, should be coming soon. That would be an under the radar PR, especially if it's a better deal than Calm Seas.
Again, I go back to what can we do as shareholders to help kblb in anyway. The DD on this board is very good. Also, there has been some good twitter reaction going on with Kblb. People are engaging other financial analysts on twitter about kblb and I see that as a positive. And it's not unintelligent banter either. I wish kblb did better on social media. It's a free platform that when done correctly, can be of great use.
Release the gorilla and his 800lb balls!!! Let's go!!!!!
Having a PR on Monday is interesting. Not every important PR in the past has been on a Tuesday, but a good portion of them have. I wonder if this is significant news and that kblb wants to get this out to the public as quickly as possible.
Or, maybe it's just a regular PR and we shouldn't read anything into it.
Two big pieces of news we are waiting on. Army results/contract and Vietnam. I do think if there really is a contract they have signed, it won't be announced until Vietnam is up and running.
When will these things occur? My guess is that by the summertime we should have some idea where the company is with respects to those two pieces of potential news.
Could we get other news in the meantime? Absolutely. It might not move the needle one way or the other. Who knows really. I think for anyone on the fence or thinking about bailing, at least wait till those two events happen. Obviously people's financial situations will dictate that.
I'm cautiously optimistic things will move forward. It's painful to wait this long. This is my speculative play and will see this through either way. Here's hoping this thing takes off this year.
"The Company is now working with Vietnamese officials to pursue approvals for investment and for the introduction of our hybrid silkworm. "
It sounds like they are close to securing financing as well. That process takes a while. Mentioning it, imo, means they are further along.
I think we all need to take a break from the board. When there is nothing new to discuss with kblb people get bored and really start speculating.
So now we know who Floyd, Peachsnapps, Ruskie and Paul Scary work for. Lol
Then what's the point of a message board. Lol. I think you could say the same thing about people who believe kblb is a scam or won't amount to much. We get that on this board as well. Let's see what happens in the next sixth months before we really pass judgment. Especially with the Army Contract in play.
