Just totally nuts.
Has to be manipulation down so bigger buyers and come in here cheaper.
My guess is we turn higher later this morning?
Analyst Neal Dingmann reiterated a Buy rating and a $9 price target on the stock on Monday. He expects management to focus on the operations side on the upcoming earnings call, as the company hasn't made incremental divestitures, but he believes that Chesapeake still has "ample" assets to potentially sell, even though it doesn't need to as urgently as in past quarters.
The new administrative team here seems to be making the right moves.
As long as the commodity prices continue in the high $40's to mid $50's, I believe CHK will do fine.

Are these guys still there?
I don't understand why they don't release any information?
Anything at all would be great.
Thanks for the link!!
Where do you see evidence for that?
That would be huge
You were right on.
Down to $6.01
I picked up more at $6.08
I see it continuing its climb.
Institutional $ coming back in here for longer term gains.
JMHO
Agree
I flipped it this morning once already.
Bought at 8.88 and sold at 9.19
I'll take that any day!
Very comfortable holding here.
The company is making all the right moves and is well positioned to advance big over the next 24 months.
JMHO
Did you pick up some more in the dip?
A lot of the sell's are 100 share blocks which makes me think they are walking it down today--trying to shake free some cheap shares?
I added today.
I think it will run again after the retrace
Just added more at $1.52
Yep
Might get over $2 today

Re: $heff Post# 96581
New Economy Portfolio Update...bought $RGLS in the portfolio at ($1.30 & $1.35) with a 6% solid position. Company seems very undervalued as they have more cash than the current market cap. They have a key update in Q2 of 2017. This company is very undervalued here. I think this gets some momentum and also gets well over $2 ahead of their catalyst.
Looks like some consolidation today after a good jump.
Added here today
I sure hope you are right.
My average price here is .43
I've lost a significant part of my gamble here.
The good thing is that I offset my loss here with gains in HAL, USO, and ETE.
Especially ETE which I bought below $5 and sold at $20.00
The share dumps continue
You also don't want to remain silent and allow your market cap to disappear as the share price vanishes
Oil prices have doubled in the past 12 months.
We have seen gains in every oil related sector since the nadir.
This looks really, really bad at this point.
If corporate was still alive and working on it, we would have heard by now. 18 months of silence equals a dead corporate office !
I agree
Something's up.
Lol
Me too
Just like we drew it up!!
Hard to see why NUGT is down so far.
Should be set up to move up.
I just reloaded in NUGT below $8
This has played out well for me every time I can pick it up down here.
I have been adding on the retrace.
Perfectly comfortable at these levels
BX is ready for the next leg up.
Longs,
It won't be difficult to drive us close to $1 if we keep buying the ask.
Maybe a couple hundred thousand dollars to buy the shares on the way up?
I sold my position at $7.25
Will buy the next dip
Basically a very volatile stock.
It's the perfect stock to ride up and down.
Just buy the dips and sell the rallies. You will do much better that way.
Bought half my shares back at $17.70's
Looking good again!
I agree
I have been able to buy some cheap shares myself.
It would take that much to push this if we start buying up the offered shares
One trade for 58,000 shares at $.19
It's actually good to see these larger volume dumps as we eventually need to exhaust the available shares in order to move up.
That's what I've been telling you
I'm a strong long here too.
I just think it's cheap shares being very slowly exhausted.
Eventually, whoever is burning up shares at these prices will run out and we can finally move up.
1580 shares right after the opening bell at $.1725 (8:30.28 AM)
Has to be someone needing $250 to pay a bill?
It takes very little money to push this down. 1580 shares at .1725 is only $252
I believe it's someone with lots of cheap shares ( less than $.10) who needs to pay a bill so they sell at the bid.
I don't believe MM's would mess with such a thinly traded stock.
I don't think we are moving higher without news from corporate and meaningful volume .
As long as nothing changes, we will stay in this range.
Having said that, I don't think it would take a lot of money to push this well over $1 (probably a couple hundred thousand) with persistent buying at the ask price.
Just MHO.
