Creede/Phish.....I have been following this obviously pointless discussion, with no correct answer....if the O/T post that started this was a "pump" by creede, then he needs to work on his pumping ? It was merely a suggestion to check it out.
Phish you cannot realistically say that every stock purchase you have ever made have been stocks you found solely on your own, I have to imagine at least one was suggested by someone else, a friend, a message board, etc.
By the way....the entire discussion...could have been either O/T or done by private message, because MOST of it was not related to stock VWKM, its trading patterns or recent news, but Phish it did bring more attention to the stock that was suggested as i am sure people who read this board were curious what you guys were debating....JMHO's...GLTA

Bally I agree, but when do this revenue start rolling in ? Does anyone know the payment schedules for the cable industry. In my business our customers have 30 days from billing date, in this situation that could be 60 days from tomorrow...a long time to go with no income, of course if the numbers they keep PR'ing are solid, once it rolls in all should should be great.
I am not looking to argue, these are my thoughts and I am hoping someone can shed some light on them good or bad....

MPTV Receives Loan Commitment For $12.7M For Phase I Construction
Irvine, CA, August 28 2001 -- MPTV, Inc. The purpose of MPTV’s third webcast was to keep shareholders informed of recent events and progress being made including: receiving, signing and accepting a Term Sheet for a Phase 1 construction loan on the Lake Trop property; and, interpreting what that means for the company and what timeshare buyers can expect who are interested in Lake Trop once it is available for sale.
(1) Explanation of Phase 1 construction & permits – The Lake Trop property has 16 buildings. Currently many of the units are being rented out as apartments on a month–to-month basis. Phase I construction will take five buildings (each with eight, 2-bedroom units) and remodel them completely. During the construction and remodeling phase, MPTV will initiate the
process of securing a Nevada public permit to allow the company to begin selling individual units to prospective customers. This construction is expected to take about 3 months to finish. MPTV will start the permit process upon closing of the loan.
(2) Description of deluxe 2-bedroom suites – Phase I entails the
transformation of 40 existing units into deluxe 2-bedroom suites with marble baths and kitchens, upgraded plumbing, air conditioning, and deluxe furniture/fixtures/appliances. The exteriors will have fresh paint, new roofs, railings will be replaced with stucco walls, new patio doors and windows will be installed. In addition, the construction plans include a
decorative stucco wall around the property, extensive landscaping in the front and renovations to the waterfall/lagoon area, and a new sign and a guardhouse at the entrance.
(3) Inventory & Marketing – Upon completion of Phase 1 construction, Lake Tropicana will have five buildings, each with 8 two-bedroom units for a total of 40 timeshare units. Those units times 52 timeshare intervals equals a starting inventory of 2,080 timeshares. Based on the brisk pace of sales by other Las Vegas timeshare resorts and sell out a head of schedule at similar projects, MPTV expects its timeshares to sell rapidly.
(4) Management Experience – Hurley Reed spoke about his background in the hospitality industry and all aspects of timeshare development, sales and management.
(5) What will a timeshare owner receive when they become a member of the Lake Trop Timeshare Resort besides a luxurious timeshare just blocks from the strip in Las Vegas? - Based on very thorough market research, timeshare customers want to buy something that gives them value…so not only can the Lake Trop timeshare owner trade their Las Vegas unit with another location around the world through an affiliation with Interval International, they also get other travel perks and discounts.
(6) What needs to be done yet to close the loan? - The only substantive issue is the “freshness” of the existing appraisal which was performed for the refinancing (May 200). For this loan, MPTV needs to have a third party current appraisal done and is negotiating with the lender to determine which firm will perform the appraisal quickly.
(7) Acquisition Targets - Net revenues from timeshare sales would help assure a potential lender that MPTV can satisfactorily service any debt needed to acquire the right target company. The prime acquistion target remains the same.
(8) Overall Progress – Howard spoke on the progress MPTV has made in just a few months and stressed that to fully develop a parcel of land like Lake Trop will require the right deal with the right entities at the right time. This lender for the construction loan fits the bill by providing MPTV with a critical piece of the puzzle: the money to begin conversion of
existing rental units into timeshare units for sale.
(9) How long to close?- Without giving an exact date, Howard expects this loan to work like the recent refinancing with Old Standard….quickly.
Howard says they have provided the lender with the info they have
requested and that it is being handled on an Expedited basis.
(10) Renewal of IR consultant – Hurley commented that they received great feedback from shareholders and were pleased to have worked out an agreement to keep Serena Riedel on board as a consultant, along with Laurel Moody.
