How's that for derisking one's investment! Phase 2/3 in construction because one of the best cancer research institutions on Earth has identified signs of Kevetrin effecacy for at least one hard to treat cancer. At least one. Simply amazing, totally awesome. Totally.
Hey now, keep it above the belt. So the reason we aren't getting 'news' is that the SEC is holding back declaration of our shares being effective? Maybe. For what reason is the question. Too many situations exist whwhere effectiveness came the day after 8a12b registrations. The reason could always be a positive, like a request from the party in negotiations with CTIX to delay material events until... what? Just contemplating numerous possibilities.
Thanks BK. There are several cases in which the NASCERT is filed the day following the 8a12b filing. I was expecting a similar 1 day or similarly close follow through. Even so, I am not fretting, pipeline progression is completely independent of our listing exchange. No doubt advancement is in our future - acquiring above the radar does not provide the advantage of financial surprise. Cheers, here's to being under the radar and the finacial surprise it will yield.
Is it possible that the sec and NASDAQ have been notified to hold back the NASCERT release, signifying acceptance of uplist, because of a quiet period in effect? Not sure if this is a practice followed, just curious if it's happened in the past - BigKahuna, if someone knew it might be you...
I'm with ping on this - you can only blame yourself for applying the wrong market factors to a product whose market you don't understand.
Nice, sounds like the upcoming 10Q could very well be a final step enabling NASDAQ to award Cellceutix the listing certification. Financial figures were already close to these 'loose' requirements. One could argue that auditing not being necessary improves the outlook for uplisting. Perhaps this upcoming week is our week...
Nice! I had to take the lyric one step farther:
[Intro]
Oh, my, god. Becky, look at her p53.
It is so mutated. [scofe]
I mean, her p53, is just so mutant.
I can't believe it's just so wrong, it's like, out there, I mean— gross. Look!
[Enter Sir Ctix-a-Lot]
I like cancer cures and I can not lie,
You other shareholders can't deny
That when a molecule walks in with an itty bitty toxicity
And p53 activation in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your wallet
'Cause you notice that p53 was mutated
Deep in the genes she's using
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get with you
And take your cancer's gonome
My brokers tried to warn me
But that molecule you got makes me so happy
Ooh, Cure-o'-kevetrin
You say you wanna get in my IV-bag?
Well, fuse through me, fuse through me
'Cause you ain't that average therapy!
Go CTIX!!!
Drano, this brought back fond memories of the early 35 cent days, reminded me of these lyrics from early early post #8891:
At this rate that candle on the weekly above is turning into quite the trend reversal doji! Can't wait for double digits!!!
People who do these things must be very small time. I doubt they're very successful at investing with such childish tendencies.
As for the rest of us. The next few weeks should be quite enjoyable!
I can't tell if some of you posters' sentiments change based on speculation or on your local relative humidity readings! Geez
Fully audited 10Q enabling uplist 3 tradings days away? Turnaround about to be confirmed? The timing of the drop might end up being quite serendipitous for those of us that take advantage...
9 months ago we tripled on a long rally, $7.50 min on the docket...
New daytime after lunch high!
No news to cause this, it's a coordinated share grab in anticipation of expected great news. I bought more shares today. Having your money go farther isn't a bad thing regardless of how many shares you already own, especially when company progress points to a return and surpassing of all time high stock prices in the future.
This is quite the circus! Wow. Desprate to get shares cheap - I'm thinking we all need to take advantage of the risk they have put foreth shorting to bring this down. It will be twice as difficult to cover successfully if they're also funding our buying of these extra shares we can now afford.
My guess is that the venue they are referring to is ASCO. This does not mean that the FDA is not already aware of the results today and at anytime will not recommend an immediate advancement of Kevetrin into a phase 2 or 3 for ovarian or pancreatic or another hard to treat cancer - of course that is major speculation on my part.
Any thoughts on whether the following should be considered a hint?
Exactly - if this was the typical emerging biotech we would have retraced all of the last three years' 800% gains. Rather, we're still hanging on to 500%, or roughly 80% per year for the last three. And that fact is nothing to scoff at. After listening to Dr. J's presentation at the conference - this one is going to be big. Nice applause afterward - word will be spreading among the intellectuals in attendance. Just need the word to spread to the street now.
I expect to hear news tomorrow, but some instances take longer. Use this link:
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/srch-edgar?text=form-type%3D"CERTNAS"&first=2015&last=2015
Use form-type="CERTNAS" for the search.
It shows all companies that have been certified on NASDAQ, following links to 'see all company filings'. You can then see how quickly the CERTNAS form arrives after the 8-A12B forms for companies that file in this method.
My quick review found several cases in which the CERTNAS arrives the next day.
Tomorrow could be our day!
In this case a reverse split of 25:1 was used to get near $5, up listed a couple days later and quickly more than doubled in share price toward $12, settled at $8 afterward. It was definitely a success. I expect success here that equals or surpasses.
The most recent company that I followed closely through uplisting filed their 8-A and the following day PR'd the NASDAQ acceptance...
Very nice! Thank you both.
8K coming that will involve a significant change for Cellceutix and the names attached could add significantly to the market reaction, can't wait, hard to predict this one!
Leo just did us a solid - I think he just gave a big heads up, buy more soon you won't regret it!
Yes, before most people who post today showed up they were all issued Friday after the close, almost like clockwork. Leo switched this to before Monday's open almost like clockwork for several months. Seems PR releases today are less predictable... for good or for worse to the emotional, for the excitement to the stable.
If you guys were better at coming up with valid arguments to drag the stock price down that could not instantly be refuted by better smarter people who know how to research, then I could get a better deal on my purchases... Oh well... <sigh>
Perhaps one qualifies as an orphan drug, where going after the wider colitis market has too large of a population. Anyway, interesting fight to pick - proctitis vs. colitis - laughable man.
Interesting.
I wonder if they took good enough patient records on their parchment and hides to convince the FDA to move from petri dish straight to Phase III along side B? Don't think we have a race there, but yes - hurry up Leo, we want our recognition for your hard work!
Plus, a provision of this Aspire $30M agreement is that it can be terminated at cellceutix's request any time. No need to accept a low ball offer of any kind for NASDAQ reqs or any other reason, but should the right offer come then Leo can take it. This significantly strengethened the company on many fronts - trial progress, up listing, deal making.
Not arguing, just saying that I evaluate these developments on their effect over years, not months. I'm not worried about my $4 basis shares declining down to $8. What I will be doing is adding to my position on the way down, at the bottom, on the way back up, as I am no expert at timing, but adding is the important part for me.
Is your reply joking? Sorry, maybe your definition of long term differs from mine. I don't expect to be able to hit my target returns in the biotech sector short of a ten year time horizon. I think many investors in the sector would agree. So the fact that the second half of 2015 will see sales developed from an improved sales force sounds like a good development going into the remaining several years of my time horizon.
Last time Cellceutix secured financing a fraction of this it kicked off a 100% gain. Add to that the upcoming news cycle... I think you can turn the drama down a few notches.
Long term investment thesis has not been impacted, but we know traders like to make dramatic statements. I will enjoy adding to my position while the short termmers freak out.
Ah yes, I see that now - they do list those bullets multiple times, strange that one has the typo. Oh well, typos happen. So NASDAQ announcement tomorrow?
That last line is 45M, not 450M
Paul Ehrlich
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Ehrlich
Relation to our CEO?
This PBS show about cancer is fascinating - thought I recognized the name Ehrlich...
This is the decade - Cellceutix has a great head start! Kevetrin is perhaps a new 'magic bullet' and we've got an Ehrlich shepherding it forward!
I'm going to laugh when none of this matters, soon. Hope you can laugh also, it's good to have your regulatory search ability here, even if the bias it exhibits swings back and forth. I prefer it be offered at neutral, but I admit that presenting facts with the obedience they should command isn't always easy.
Exactly why I bought today. There is the other Buffet quote about the markets being an efficient means of transferring wealth from the impatient to the patient. I think it also holds true as an efficient means of transferring wealth from the panicked to the calm and rational. Major rule - be rational.
