The obvious reply from me is did you notice any ad insertion tech that was placing certain ads in your view which made sense i.e. with what you were watching on the television? Thank you so much for this excellent report!!! R3
It's all in the hands of the converts and MM's. SP is continuing to dilute because he has no money. He has to get that stop sign pulled and the uplist moving. I only hope that for the business sake Truckenmiller decided to "buy" into Tivus as well as work for Tivus.
That is why I am concerned about the volume of revenue from the ad insertion tech. It has to produce for our future. I am assuming that Truckenmiller saw what has been produced and was enough impressed to join Tivus and see this company move forward. As a shareholder, I am biased that he was impressed, but I don't know that for sure. GLTA. R3
BTW, here is something only SP knows. How much money is coming in on the ad insertion revenue??? IMHO, that is our future, for better or worse. R3
Yea, being right all the time is a burden!! My wife says she just doesn't understand how one man can know soooooo much! The only thing that exceeds what I know is the stuff I don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GLTY. R3
Jsteel, this is coming down the track and IBM, LNET and company will all be using/working with Tivus by year's end, IMHO. The only thing that could defeat this is bad revenue from the ad insertion, or SP's business experience deficit to blow this. Otherwise, it's a no brainer. I hope that Truckenmiller can be used to steer Tivus in the right path. Why wouldn't you want more revenue from this or any other revenue producer in this or any other economy?
Glad to have jwez back, and adding a level of sanity to our discussion and pom-pom waiving! R3
I made a request this a.m. and they told me they lifted his restrictions. Now, we need jwez to keep us informed on Tivus, as much as he feels capable of sharing. R3
Where is Jwez? He is back to normal posting on Tivu. They have lifted his restriction. I think we all know . . . NOTHING on Tivus and Truckenmiller and IBM and LNET. SP, give us more info!! R3
S. Truckmiller is an independent consultant, and I don't think he was working with LNET, but was a founder of that company. I hope that Tivus uses him, Host, IBM, and LNET to build a bright future. From famine to feast!!! R3
I sincerely hope that Tivus is looking for partners. They need all the help they can get and so does my investment in Tivus. After all, we all want to make this investment pay dividends. SP, announce these new agreements with IBM and LNET so we can get on with making Tivus a household word, right jwez? Glad you are back, dude! GLTA! R3
Jwez and Blah, it does appear to me that if Tivus is to have a bright future, it rests in unions with IBM and LNET. There is nothing wrong with taking a wonderful tech and using the biggest and best in the field to blast that tech into the world of hospitality. I am not sure what that does to Tivus (if there is a buyout) but it is a reality I can and will live with. So, SP, if this is where you are trying to head, more power to you and to Tivus. R3
I will put my son on a snooping mission. He works for MGM/Mirage and tries to keep his nose to the ground. Bellagio, of course, is the crown jewel of MGM properties in Vegas (Not to discount City Center, but that has yet to prove itself as a wise economic/business move and Bellagio keeps pumping out profits) and they need to keep it updated in the world of hospitality competition.
Jwez, I don't want you using your public posts up and you have my email, but SP just seems to dodge accountability. No reports on DT in Omaha, no reports on ad insertion revenue, no reports on Host or Philly Marriott agreement, no financial filings, no attorney letters on financial filings, a gag on the TA, etc.
Now, I understand that MONEY is the main problem, but that is always a business problem. I am not trying to pile on SP, and God only knows he is trying to drain the swamp while the alligators are snapping at his rear end. But he has to be accountable to all and for all if he wants the President/CEO title. I think, given his work load and limits, he would have offered Truckenmiller the ceo position and a piece of the company just so he could focus on his gift: technology. Truckenmiller is a known star, SP is a former IBM employee with an idea. My advice to SP: Get out of the way, and let others run the company. I am fearful if SP doesn't realize his limitations soon, he will kill his dream. JMHO and GLTA. R3
Here is my take on Tivus. They are in a last ditch effort to obtain viability as a working entity. They do not have enough money to file a letter to get the stop sign off, SP isn't even updating their web site, and any more dilution will snowball down. The relationship with Host is on permanent hold and the Marriott cousins have bailed on them. SP is trying to pull a rabbit out of his hate to keep things moving. A RS is probably in the wind if he can't grab hold of the rabbit ears. I hate to say all of the above, but SP is a man of dreams, not business. A partner relationship with IBM COULD save the company, but SP's business savy is limited and slipping. We shall see. GLTA. R3
The rumor is out, Blah. IBM, big blue, will be a channel partner with Tivus. Jwez has guarded his secret with integrity, but I think, Blah, you have revealed the future. My son and I were discussing this possibility yesterday, (he also is in the hospitality industry in Vegas) and he sees a real synergy in this relationship. Now, if we can get NITE to put on the brakes and stop dumping their converts on the market, we are ready to run.
What does the L2 look like today? Could be fun. GLTA. R3
Don't misunderstand me. I hope you all are right, but I doubt it. Look at the history of Max Wifi, our predecessor, and the RS has been used twice. Getting cheaper shares than .0004???? Are you kidding me? This is the bottom of the barrel with only .0003 left to hit that bottom. I've got several million shares and that is plenty. But I don't see any real news coming anytime soon, unless SP gets in gear. Today was a "kiss your sister" smooch and doesn't put one thin dime into Tivus. So, SP, let's get the $'s into the news and we can all celebrate together. No mon, no fun!! GLTA. R3
No, I think that even if we get news of $'s soon (and I am not convinced that SP has any such contract) this stock is so over diluted that he will be forced into a RS. The only reason this stock is not sitting at .0001 right now is the news that he keeps dribbling and drabbling out to the shareholders. He is dumping shares on the market right and left and has no other choice without real $'s. He is pushing 2,000,000 shares right now, and will run way past the 3,000,000 mark before any contract announcement. No, there is a wicked RS in our future and when it comes, it may be a 500 to 1 RS. He can't keep this dilution running in time to avoid this RS. GLTA, but just MHO. R3
All we know is that SP and Mr. T have been in conversations for some time. Don't know who made the first request for a date!! R3
You guys are trying to Rah! Rah! Tivu to reality and prosperity. The MM's control Tivus, not news of new vp's or the downfall of LNET. LNET isn't going anywhere! Come on, people, don't act like a bunch of pep squad Nancy's. The new guy had some time to burn and SP talked him into spending time trying to help Tivus become a $ reality (which, by the way, it isn't yet: absolutely no fixed $ reports of any $'s made on the ad insertion front, only "meager" returns. Try to spend "meager".) BTW, how many shares of Tivus has SP promised our new vp and what is his compensation? Talk about dilution? So, let's cool our jets and keep our focus. SHOW US THE $'S AND CONTRACTS, SP. TAKE THE GAG OFF OF THE TA, AND GET THE STOP SIGN OFF OUR FINANCIALS. So far (and I am long on this) it has all the makings of . . . . . GLTA. R3
Wow, this move has really moved us up to. . . . . Nothing! It really is kind of funny. SP, you better belly up with some $ news. R3
Waggett, I was referring to the cousins, not the hotel chain. But this does move to make my point; SP does not announce personnel moves of corporate officers. IF he sees fit to announce people coming in he should announce their leaving. This gives into the sense that he is playing fast and loose with other matters as well. Where are the Marriott's in Tivus today? Where is SH? Where is Jimmy Carter? Stop gagging the TA!?!? We are left to speculate while our system in Philly continues doing what in revenue???? Too many questions, and very few answers, and any answers are not wrapped in $$$$'s.
Waggett, please help us out. You know more than anyone else and are one of the largest shareholders. Without tipping your hand or breaking any agreement, surely you can share some things that can help us with one or two of the questions above. GLTY, my friend, and good traveling. R3
I am not sure (not to be negative) that this will boost share value. This is the sort of news that while positive today, can disappear tomorrow with the sounds of silence. We know that Tivus has had many relationships that are "big", but then melt away (Marriott anyone?). What I am excited about is that someone who is a business person with experience is with Tivus today. Let's hope that SP follows this man's lead and keeps everything moving forward.
Now, I think I smell an additional PR coming. If you really, really want to impact shareholder value, get some real $$$$$$'s attached to an announcement that has some staying power. I keep waiting for this, but to date, we have a $2 million system WE paid for installed in the Philly downtown Marriott. I want a Host contract!!
GLTA. R3
I can now relate to all that I have been advising SP all along and this move is him following my wise and astute business counsel. I just wanted to be modest!! HA!
However, what Tivus needed is what this gentleman brings to Tivus: HEAVY WEIGHT MANAGEMENT. Now, SP, let me whisper something else in your ear: (It's a secret!!!!). This is much more important for moving forward, and should add heft and share value immediately. He would not have left LNET without the hope of seeing this explode. GLTA. R3
DMO, what is the trading strategy here. Are the MM's just playing with us? Do you think they are waiting for a good rumor to power up? R3
.0004 is definitely a bottom. For whatever reason, the powers that be will not let this puppy go below this level. I do think that we will probably see this go up on some degree of news. R3
Irish, well said. While some think Tivus without a merger or buyout is beneficial, I on the other hand believe that M&A is in Tivus' best interest. SP is NOT a CEO/business manager. I am not criticizing SP, just realizing that we all have limitations and his is business. As we have noted, lots of good ideas have died on the table of business. If SP can't see this, I fear our future will be very, very limited. Let's pray for M&A. GLTA. R3
For all US congressmen, this was a dark day. The President signed into law congresses inability to trade on insider information. Drat! Now I have to depend on my DD and instincts rather than getting special information no one else gets. How can I possibly go to DC and get rich. No need even running for office again. GLTA. R3
If you know jwez, you know no one MAKES him do anything. Besides, he has my email and can let me know privately. Nice try, though. Besides, he hasn't been posting his three per day, anyway. GLTY. R3
Sorry Jwez. I should have posted neutral. I don't doubt you saw what you saw. Just trying to keep all the 911 in perspective. R3
No? Neither have I. Come on, let's keep it real. I am beginning to feel like I am on a pep squad. So far we have a system in a hotel in Philly. I am hopeful, but 911 signaling a big scoop??? GLTA. R3
Did you guys see the big news?????
This is just the result of no money. Outside of this, I doubt that anything else is signaled. I wish something else was being signaled, but it isn't. I hope and pray that SP is negotiating business, but he may just be treading water. BUT who knows??????? SP is doing his best, I am sure, but if he actually gets a contract with $'s, HIRE ANOTHER CEO, PUT YOURSELF IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, AND ENJOY LIFE. It's not your fault, you are doing your best and got this thing before a Fortune 500. Now, if you get IBM to join in with Host, you have done a job of taking a tech and selling it to two of the best. GLTA. R3
This continues to raise the issue if SP really is doing anything other than holding on. It isn't the failure to not get financials posted and up to date, but it is the failure to even write the required letters to tell everyone they will be late. If SP has a rabbit in his hat, he better get to pulling it out. The crowd is restless and the act is wearing thin. I hear boos from the crowd, but pretty soon even family members of the magician will begin to throw rotten tomatoes. I don't care how busy you are, SP, your job is still to get the rabbit out of the hat! R3
Excellent insight. Big blue has many irons in the first, and this might be a great partnership or buyout. Turn SP loose in the lab without the burden of running a company, and it might be a "brave new world" in ad insertion tech. Very interesting. R3
PS: My apologies to OTC for my last rant. You stepped on my last nerve and it was appropriately deleted.
It is interesting to me that the income projections once advertised as our money maker on the ad insertion tech has now disappeared. Another question for SP: Tell us about the revenue and update our information. We are shareholders, SP, not buyers to be manipulated with information and then see that information suddenly disappear. R3
Wow! This can go to hotels, cars, sidewalk cafe's,etc. It seems that IF the app tech can be protected, this can be bigger then any of us really appreciate. R3
At this trading volume, we are ripe for news. Tivus is going to need to strengthen it's position moving forward. How they do that is anyone's guess, but continued dilution by selling off hundreds of millions of shares and options won't help us.
If the revenue from the ad insertion isn't proving out, we are dead meat. If it is building and looks promising, we are alive. The real news is:
ARE OUR REVENUES BEING DERIVED FROM AD INSERTION ON TARGET (DO THEY MATCH OUR PROJECTIONS CHART ON THE WEBSITE?)?
This is the whole enchilada in my opinion. It is money coming in on a continuous stream, not a BEAUTIFUL system. Here is hoping for both. GLTA. R3
Honestly, a partnership with a larger competitor makes a lot of sense. I don't see SP giving up his baby in a buy out, and without a track record, a buyout would be a dud with few $'s. If I was LNET (or someone similar) I would be looking to tap into this capability and take it off the competition table by making it work for them. It also moves them (LNET) up the list of highly sought after tech for new installs. LNET has not be burning up the competition lately, and I believe have weakened in the last year or two. The synergy here would be helpful to both, with both being relatively weak. However, Tivu is just starting and very, very weak and is going to deal from this weakness given their current situation. One thing is clear; anything that stabilizes Tivu from a shareholder perspective will be good news. It could be like intel chips in computers. GLTA. R3
One gets the feeling that if there was a "sugar daddy" (much like Newt's billionaire friend in Vegas) backing Tivus we would already be seeing this technology growing and glowing. Of course, this would not be a public company and we wouldn't ever get a crack at making money.
Jwez, the only way this company gets bigger is if the money from Host shows up or the ad insertion tech is supplying cash. I am sure the ad insertion tech isn't bringing in enough dollars, or VERT wouldn't be in the game. I am also sure that Host isn't going to push any agreement forward soon because if the ad insertion tech isn't bringing in $ projections, they won't bite on Tivus. It's almost like going to a bank for a loan; they will give you the money once you prove to them you don't need the money!
Sooo, one other thing seems plausible; business merger. But for any merger you need to call a shareholder's meeting for approval. This would cause the company to "grow" and might get us out of the dilution business, but would also bring about a RS in order to bring us into line with an existing corporation's share structure, unless it is a privately held company. I just don't think anyone would merge with Tivus at the moment.
I say, we stay where we are and keep diluting and hoping for Host to say, "We like this tech, so let's slowly move forward." No huge contracts, perhaps a partnership, and no big $ sums to propel us to .10. Maybe a penny, but not much more. I am way beyond believing that SP can get a big deal out of this stock, but I am still hoping for viability and a future, sometime in the future. GLTA. R3
Thanks, Jwez!! I take back the silly post of mine that SP doesn't have much to do. My apologies. I knew that was a dumb comment when I said it.
OK, $'s are tight and that is why there is dilution. I can live with Jwez's explanation. Makes perfect sense. I will once again give SP a "Go TIVU!" for this information. Keep giving us information and we will all be happier. GLTA> R3
What I posted earlier was just my humble opinion, not fact. But SP has to get his rear end in gear to move this company along. His vague posts are not helping. Now, in terms of .0003, that was a $35 deal by someone to prove a point. We should have revisited that price today if it was to be the bottom. Didn't happen. I still think that .0004-.0005 is the bottom, and not all that pretty any way you go. The claims of .0002 and lower are not realistic YET!
Shiva, I still believe you have a product. What I don't know is if you can manage this company to viability as a money making entity. Good luck, but quit stiffing the base of your shareholders by diluting their investment. If you have to, TELL US WHY!!!!! Stop these "kiss your sister" statements ("I want to congratulate the shareholders.......) and give them information about THEIR company.
GLTA R3
There are different scenarios one can take, AIMHO. First, SP is a crook. I keep trying to see what the benefit is for him "stealing" his .0005 shares? It just doesn't fit.
The second is a guy with a tech that is working, and is trying to put this company together while waiting for Host to cough up his vaunted "contract", which by his own words seems to be a partnership. He has shrunk the company down to one or two people, is trying to get an audit done (I don't think he even has Carter left to do finance) for an uplisting and to keep the company current financially. I think (JMHO) that he is hiring out all of this because he can't do it himself.
Here is the funny thing. I don't think that SP has much to do with his time because I don't think any of the financial things he has a clue about. This is pure conjecture on my part. He appears to be hanging on by his finger nails. All of the above is pure speculation. To Jwez and Waggett, did you guys ever see anyone else working on the system except SP and Sue while in Philly? R3
