Yeah, ...so nice to have a newbie educate us all on Mgt. shortcomings, instead of just appreciating the DD of the board and benefitting from it.
How's that for a 'cleaned up' version, Snack? lol...Man..You gotta be part Saint!!! Flyer'
Barge'...You mite want to add 'Obtuse' to placid and aplomb...lol..It constantly AMazes me to see this stock still sitting here well below a buck., with all the Continuing Potential which keeps showing up practically every day.. I look at it thisaway'...Worse case scenario, we mite lose 50% of what we invest NOW, with catastrophic news...On the other hand, My Gawd'!...Look at what Awk's previous post has us at by the end of 2008..If memory serves me correctly, it was somewhere around $40.!! ...and as a professional Blackjack player, DAM..I sure like those odds!!! Just some musings from the crackerbarrel in Ol' San Antone'...Flyer'
Kitesurf/Barge...Bravo on your most encouraging and informative reporting...and to all the Whiners and Naysayers who constantly keep this board in a state of turmoil and uncesrtainty,...well...(You know....) Thanks to all of you Naysers who in effect have stymied the price of this stock by your packs of Dis-Information ..I hope you enjoy shooting yourself in your foot. To those who can see these wonderful events happening all around us...NTT being the latest and strongest, take heart..do not be deceived by their chicanery, and if you can afford it, load up on these cheap shares which THEY have been so kind to have given us...lol..Yup, there's a bright sky there between those clouds for sure...Best to All...Flyer'
Hi Dave'..."Don't see much change in P/P until some $$$$ start coming in"....(or words to that effect)...Well, Dave' you may very well be right...However, there are some of us that envision such tremendous opportunities about to take place that we just can't resist adding to our positions at these prices...What amazes me is that some of the truly SMART folks on this board are doing just that...makes me feel like I ain't such a dummy after all...lol...Take Care Dutch'
Good Observation!! Yes, I agree..there is definitely that possibility that Japanese Investors will see thru the smoke and haze that American investors seem to be restricted by, and buy the heck out of the stock...what a boot in the behind that would be...!!! Best To All FLyer'
John..Methinks in this case you are worrying too much!!! lol...but I understand where U are coming from..best wishes back at ya'...Dutch'
Hi, 24601'...Well for once, we are at opposite sides of an issue...I think the NTT ...Docomo..? MOU is VERY, very Bullish. Of course, as you know, I am an incurable optimist when it comes to Wave and its potential. This NTT deal just accentuates the unique and powerful position that this little ole company enjoys at this time. We are RECOGNIZED by almost every one of the most stellar OEMs and Distributors in the world. If there is a fly in the ointment, the only thing that still creates doubt, is their finances..and deep down, I can't help but think that our resourceful leader will find a way... Lawsuit?? To me that is almost ludicrous, but then...that's just my thoughts on the subject...Best Regards...Dutch'
Well, regardless, I think that it is Really Significant that such a well known outfit as MsnMoney follows us and that we have progressed from a 1 to a 4 rating. After all, until we start to pocket revenues, we are still a start up for all practical purposes..Very Positive posting by MSN, imho...best to all Flyer'
...So..What, may I ask, is the significance of a '4' rating? Is this on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the ultimate? TIA Flyer'
O/T...OK'...After an extensive search of their website, I cannot ascertain whether Asus has common stock for sale..I find a symbol (akczf), but it is not recognized by my Aol..Any ideas? TIA..Flyer'
Dunno for sure, which software they will be using...but I do recall that they were Very Aware of Wavx..Fyi...Flyer'
Speaking of HITACHI, when I visited CES recently, I spoke with the Rep there and asked if they were familiar with TPM's, and he said Yes, and they either were, or were going to, shortly, be using TPM's in all their models..FWIW...Flyer'
To All..CORRECTION..I previously posted that in discussion with the Sony rep at CES, he had assured my that the Viiv had a TPM in it....I now recall that it was the Sony Vaio that he advised had the TPM in it...Sorry..Got my V's mixed up...Best to all..Flyer'
Hi Barge..this will be quick...going unfortunately to a wake'..I spoke with reps at both the sony viiv and Lenovo booths...that was their impression...as I recall, the Lenovo rep said 'If its in the IBM, its almost a 90% surety it'll be in the Lenovo boards...end quote..Gotta Go...Flyer'
To add to the 'Discussion' today, during the recent CES convention, I specifically asked several vendors about the existence of TPM's. Two of them were Lenovo and also the Sony Viiv', folks..both acknowledged that they had tpm's enclosed...FWIW...Flyer'
Awk and Snack'...Thanks for accentuating my point' ..in my answer to Weby...Those who don't realize the true importance of our special place in the future of trusted computing will surely rue the day they 'sat on their hands' waiting for the $$$$ to be 'visible'. I can clearly visualize the day when our daily fluctuations will be in DOLLARS, not cents. Best wishes to all longs...n' good nite'...Flyer'
Senor' Weby...'Where do you think we have a lock on 100 mil. in a year?'....Well, I firmly believe that the 100 mil. deal is just the beginning, and that we will see far more revenues in 06'...No one knows for sure, but I have a sense that we are about to be rather ubiquitous in a very short time. jmho, of course...Best Regards...Flyer'
Personally, I think all references to the evaluations in the yr of our big runup are useless...but I do value the Dutton forecast of $2., based on roughly 40 Mil. sales. Now that we virtually have a lock on a minimum of 100 Mil. in a year or less, seems to me that a Share price of $5. would be appropriate, using simple ratios. jmho..Flyer'
Dory' Excellent Point'...That Wave may very well have been a 'sub' (for lack of another description), to several bidders, all of whom had to meet certain standards, one of which was Interoperability....As I've said before...this one is NOT a head fake...IT IS HUGE...Best to all longs...and to the rest...Well.....you know...lol....Flyer'
Kite'..Wots the symbol for ASUS TIA Dutch'
The negative reception of certain board members regarding the new deal with Wave and Orc, is almost as disgusting as the price of this stock...which of course is interrelated. The stock price is rediculous in relation to its potential ($30-$50). No reason why this stock shouldn't have jumped at least a dime today with the significance of the news...jmho.. Flyer'
Totally Agree, Guvna'...I'm just amazed that the SP has been down here for as long as it has...Think your estimate ($2) is quite conservative, as the recent news is certain to attract new investors..which in my mind is the only reason that we arent' there already, as most Wavoids are heavily invested already. Best to all, and goodnite...Flyer'
Oh, and another point..Although this contract was awarded thru the Army, GSA is a central distribution contracting agency for ALL the various agencies of Govt; including DOD, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard..ad infinitum...Folks..we are truly on the threshold...Hold onto your seats..its gonna be fast and furious in a Very short time. Best again to all longs..Dutch'
Kite'...Either way, IMHO, this is a WIN-WIN situation, which I'm sure you'll agree..?? Dutch'
Kite'...Exactamente'!! Wave simply did not have the time, personnel or resources to become a prime contractor, so it must depend on companies like ORC, EDS, etc., of which there are many. So as these contracts start getting filled, look for other prime contractors to pick up Wave's product line since it will be prominently displayed in the GSA catalogs. I repeat...Folks, ..this is HUGE news, and we should all be dancing in the streets!! FWIW...Flyer'
Hi, Stoc'...Yes, I did, briefly, as I was rushing to see a pda/tv demo, so it was short in length, but they were VERY happy with the Wave product...I had a good solid feeling about our relationship with Seagate...Flyer' PS..The only oem..well reseller that didn't have a clue was ACER., but I'm sure that will change as the larger oems show the way..Even Toshiba, which is no longer in the PC business...primarily in laptops and tablets, was 'into' TPM's and I THINK they were very familiar with the Wave product line...later.. Flyer'
Well, 3550 miles and 12 days ago we started our 'Western Vacation'..with Wave at .68, and upon return we were still at .68...rather surprising, considering all the good news that I encountered at CES. Won't bother with details, but will just state that at all the OEM's we visited, TPM's were the 'buzzword', and Wave was ALMOST as familiar. Very encouraging to me. Then this AM, our first morning home, I saw that we and ORC had been awarded a blanket GSA contract. I know that this has been poo poohed by the board bashers already, but as an ex-AF Commander, let me tell you..this is NO small deal...In my mind it is HUGE...HUGE ...HUGE..but what do I know? I'll just keep throwing my hard earned $$$ away on this overpriced going nowhere stock...Best Regards to All...Flyer'
Hey Barge!! Calm it down, will ya'? I'm gonna be gone for 2 weeks...don't wanna miss out on ALL the action...lol..Seriously, what do you think I'll see for a SP when I return?? Best as Always..Dutch'B
Wow! Great DD and post, Andy!! Now I'm Convinced we are in 'The Catbird's Seat', more than ever..Thanks..Flyer'
Waaaaaah!!!! With all this gooood news coming out, Im sure next week will be 'The Week That Was'...and me and the Missus will miss it all, being on the road to CES, and the Grand Canyon and a bunch of other sites we've been holding off on..I have every reason to believe that next week will be our ILW...Initial Launch Week...and the price will be barely recognizable when we get back...sure glad we filled our 'goody bag' recently...SUGGESTION..For those who are going to CES..I am assuming that although Wave doesn't have a presentation, that they will be visible via the Dell pavillion..Anyone know for sure? Anyhow..a further suggestion..Everyone wear a Wavoid ID with your screen name...Like Flyer', Awk, Barge, etc. Sure would be a hoot to get together with some of y'all...Flyer'
What a Unique and exciting experience this board has been, with the blend of personalities and the differences of opinions that are expressed daily. I have grown quite fond of all the 'characters' that compose this grouping, even tho' I have only met a handful...This is truly a unique, sometime vexing and frustrating interchange, for sure...but never dull. lol. Merry Holidays to ALL, even those who I am sure I irritate, and special thanks to all the DD folks who make this board 'one of a kind'. Sincerely, Dutch' B.
O/T 1260'...You sound like an Ex'-Jock also...at least you are familiar w the lingo. Flyer'
I agree with the 'Tip of the Iceberg' phrase 100%. It truly was a shame that such great news as today's didn't move the stock, primarily because the PP folks wanted to get their 15-20% right NOW. However, I suspect that most, if not all of their shares that they wish to Roll over may have been rolled over today. Having said that, do I expect a surge in the SP tomorrow? No, I don't EXPECT it, but I am not ruling it out, either.. Happy Holidays to all..Flyer'
I simply can't believe 'you guys'...Today is a glorious day of the beginning of a new future for Wave, after a long and torturous struggle. We should be thankful for what we are experiencing, and looking to our new future...Instead, all you 'guys' can do is bring up negative rubbish which happened along the way. Simply Unbelievable!!! Flyer'
Wow! What a grrrreat (late) wake up surprise!!! Congrats to all the patient DDers and supporters. ...and to all those negative bashers who are now posting as positives...well, I can't post a finger...but you know who you are....Again..The only surprise I have this a.m. is that we arent' higher, as this initial contract is only the tip of the iceberg regarding DOD procurement. There will be many many RFP's (Request for Purchase) following this initial breakthru. Actually, we should be much higher at this moment in this scenario, but I, like most, am extremely exuberant for what we have...Bless us all...Flyer'
Cosign..probably just a combo of the recent 'whiners' moaning about the slowness of the process, which is a 'given', and the holiday season, with shopping, visiting, etc...Fear Not, my friend, we will have 'our day' very shortly imo. Flyer'
Board Sentiment Analysis...at this time...70% Negative...30% positive...Maybe all our DD'ers are letting the naysayers have sway so they can accumulate more shares...Crazy idea?...maybe so..maybe not...and the beat goes on...Flyer' PS..Yes I think this is a grrreat time to be accumulating, and I am..
Right on!, Andy...I too feel that the 'Wall of Worry' is slowly beginning to crumble...just too much potential for this baby to stay below a buck...It's going up..and soon...Thx for all ur continuing DD...Flyer'....ps..See ya in Vegas for CES?
Agreed, Maynard..Up 15+% on NO NEWS...This has got to be a precursor to a significant upward move, IMHO. With over 2 million shares traded, to boot!! Have a grrreat weekend, Wavx longs...and for the Naysayers and Hangers'On'..Have a good life...n' happy holidays to ALL...Dutch'
Gowave...The number of Astute stalwart and sharing posters on this board is quite small compared to the aggregate number of posters..perhaps2-3% if that. As expressed last nite in my post, I expect BIG things and substantial increase in the S/P in the near future. Obviously you do not share my enthusiasm, and in fact have a rather dour and sour outlook on the company and its future...Sounds like you need to exit and look for a stock you feel good about..Best Regards Flyer'
