is figuring out how he's going to end up losing all his money... too many consecutive green days is going to bring forth some AWFUL karma...

I think we have to wait until there's a major natural disaster... then ANVH will come out with a PR saying how their product is perfect to clean up afterwards... that's how it was last year
FYI T/A services suspended per Marlene. I asked about the O/S and she responded with:
Dear Mr. --------,
Our Transfer Agent services have been suspended at the moment for ANVH, since 07/07/2009. We are awaiting communication from the company to reinstate.
Have a good day.
Regards,
Marlene.
Noquit
I quoted you word for word. The problem I have is that you claimed Anviron bounced a check... but followed it up with claims that Anviron has the money, and that the check they wrote was for a different amount of shares than the DTC had. These are two different scenarios. No matter how much money "the check" was written for, the only way it would bounce would be if it did not contain sufficient funds.
My problem is with the bounced check theory. If they bounced a check it can only mean they didn't have sufficient funds in the account their checks draw from.
My argument is supported by a few others that have posted here...
QUOTE:
I never said the funds were NOT in the account.
I said sufficient funds were not in the ANVH dividend account to cover the number of shares that DTC was expecting as they had a higher count than ANVH knew of.
.....which is why it bounced.
If a check BOUNCED... it's because sufficient funds were NOT in the account. If Anviron wrote out a check for only part of the shares they were supposed to... the only way the check could bounce would be if they didn't have sufficient funds to cover the check. Perhaps you mean they CANCELLED the check? I'm not sure what you are talking about, but this argument is rediculous.
Exactly
EXACTLY... you just said that they didn't have the funds in their account to cover what they wrote on the check. I didn't mean to imply there was a payment plan... I did leave off a part of my example... what it should have read was:
If I owe $1,000 on my credit card and I wrote a check for $900...and I had $900+ in my checking account the check wouldn't bounce, but I would still owe $100.
My apologies for an incomplete example.
I owe you X dollars to fund my dividend based on X number of shares that we issued.
I pay you that but it is not enough, and I will not give you any more because my check represents the shares we authorized and we will not pay for more than that, for shares that we did not authorize.
If you pay someone, and you have the funds... the check will clear. Maybe they didn't pay enough... but that wouldn't have caused the check to bounce... those are two separate things
Correct me if I'm wrong... but doesn't a bounced check mean you didn't have funds... not that you didn't pay the full amount?
If I owe $1,000 on my credit card and I wrote a check for $900... the check wouldn't bounce, but I would still owe $100.
I'm not sure when the shares were added. All I know is that I emailed Marlene on in may and the O/S was 263,877,032 as of the close of business on May 13th and now it's 278,877,032. Obviously it happened sometime within the last month and a half...
I just asked MARLENE from the T/A what the latest O/S was for Anviron... If you don't believe this email... then email her yourself, but here it is anyways:
Dear Mr. --------,
As requested, please note the following for THE ANVIRON HOLDING, INC. below.
Shares issued and outstanding - 278,877,032
Have a good day.
Regards,
Marlene B. Cunningham

While this Global Lock is in place, of course I can make more in something else.
It is still a strong buy, but those getting in now may not go all in as I did and take profits when it goes up, unlike what I didn't do.
Interesting... see in the first sentence it sounds like a SELL... yet... in the second sentence you call it a BUY...
Maybe then I will buy back into it.
Maybe? If you won't even take your STRONG BUY advice, then why would anyone else?
How come the biggest detractors have never had any stock in it but just like to keep knocking it ?
I have owned this stock, and I don't want people to get sucked into being a stuckholder in this stock... whether it be because they can't sell because of a lock or not...
At least I went out and did something about it for me and a personal friend of mine that has that stock too.
What have any of you done except complain ?
Hopefully prevented what I just mentioned from happening... afterall, even you (and possibly your friend you helped free up shares with) are trying to sell because according to you, you can make more money in something else...
Quote:"Yet you continue to post non stop how great this company is? Plus what a STRONG BUY it is YET you are upset because you couldn't sell your shares?"
My thoughts exactly! If one thinks that ANVH will sky-rocket, why get out of it to get into another risky play? If one is THAT sold on ANVH, then why would they risk missing out on the sky-rockett? Then they would be complaining about missing this run-up as well! (I'm speaking hypothetically... I don't believe this stock will sky-rocket)
Saying that ANVH is a "VERY STRONG BUY" then complaining because you coldn't sell it... well... doesn't make a whole lot of sense (or give one much credibility).
Now you are telling us that you've lost money not being able to sell out of ANVH to get into other stocks? I thought you weren't worried about this stock... and that it is going to fly to the moon... why SHOULD you care then if a company isn't allowing you to sell? Have you not said that you were a long no matter what happens?
POSITION: Reading some contradictory statements...
So now Anviron doesn't give out their company information due to the threat of corporate assassinations? For an extremely hard to find soil restoration company that nobody knows about? Really?
Your posts are starting to sound more and more like the Anviron PRs...
What, do they have the number for the Marfa area facility?
Congrats on the lottery win... unfortunately not every pinky turns out to be a big win. You keep saying this stock is going to soar. I understand you have money in this and you really want to make money... but wishing this company to be legitimate simply isn't good enough. You keep answering all these big concerns with ramblings on about how this stock is going to soar... WHY??!
POSITION: Feeling sorry for people who think that since they own stock in a company, that said company is real and will make said people rich
First off... I seriously doubt that...
Secondly... I thought you said you couldn't do anything with your shares anyways... (which is very unfortunate)
do you think that a T/A that is still doing business would tell you if they really thought their client was a scam? That's just bad business I would think... but what do I know, I'm an engineer, not a businessman.
Wrong... there were many things ANVH needed to do to legitimize themselves. The divi at the time of the [fake] payment, they finally appeared to be legitimizing themselves. With that getting reversed, they not only have the grocery list of concerning items, but now they have this whole divi debaccle.
Hey where is that new website that's been in the beta testing for 5 friggin months??!
"Position: BUY"
... wow... by posting that after every single post for the last two days, you've convinced me to become a stuckholder [/sarcasm]
"Oh, and BTW, there was no message or email to the shareholders of record as of late, as that rumour is just that, a rumour."
Well then I guess Polly must have been lying to Greedy...
Position: Avoid, but keep coming back to Ihub board to watch people excuse the inexcusable
I could be mistaken, but I didn't see anyone claiming that the dividend was not taken back...
I use TD Ameritrade. Back when I was trading ANVH, I was able to do so for 9.99/trade (any # of shares)... but since then have had my commissions reduced to $7.00/trade
I think you answered his question: Did you received a notice from Anviron regarding the cancellation.
Funny how if he claimed to have an email with great news everyone would listen... but since it's not... it must be made up.
noquit... the reason the pps went to .02 was because it appeared ANVH made good on their divi... now that we found out the divi was bogus [for whatever reason, good or bad... not sure how it could be good]... the pps is going down... as expected.
My question is how do you expect that after these things happen... HOW could the pps go up? There was a reason for the lock... and no explanatory PR about the divi... let alone ANY PRs.
WHY would the pps go up right now?
Seriously? ANVH has said nothing in the past 2 months and they cancelled the divi... and you think there are EXTERNAL forces at work to destroy the pps???
Why would the price be going up right now???
I blame Scottrade for ANVH's not releasing a PR regarding the divi being cancelled. Them and NSSs.
How could you know something that nobody else could know or find out?
What it sounds like... and excuse me for assuming... but it sounds like situations that used to happen to me:
I would frequent penny stock chat rooms and get a pm from someone occaisionally who is about to pump the stock telling me to get in because they know some news is coming out...
I don't understand how you could happen upon information that the company didn't tell you and that an insider didn't tell you without it being the situation I just explained. I wouldn't believe a word this company says until they DO something. They can say all kinds of fluff, but it doesn't mean anything without actions to back it up...
Aside from the PRs claiming to have great business and business prospects... WHAT on Earth makes you think this stock will come back with a vengeance? This company, if I may call it that, does stupid stuff... like getting caught copying PRs to this whole divi fiasco... and other stuff in between.
Divy was cancelled by ANVH yesterday, I believe... apparently there's supposed to be a PR out soon explaining this...
Knowing how ANVH works... I bet they will apologize for the confusion and say the next divi with be double the value of the first or something like that...
Back in April they issued a PR that said:
SEATTLE, Apr 24, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Anviron Holding Company (Pinksheets: ANVH) ("Anviron"), a manufacturer and marketer of "Clean & Green" products and technology, announced today the recent dividend reversal by DTC will be cleared up and resolved in due course. The Company has fully funded the dividend and will be working with DTC and the Transfer Agent over the next few days to correct this error.
Now they are saying it is cancelled? They are not correcting the error... they aren't sorting it out... they may not have even had money for the dividend like they claimed. It's apparently cancelled now... how are you still finding ways to spread blame away from ANVH... does the company need to go to belly up before you start considering that something is not right with this company?
I have seen many... and though I can't confirm them, I do believe they received it... only to have it taken away
Exactly my point... ANVH didn't fund the divi... and they had a meeting the day before (?) the divi pay date...
Noquit... you said in a post earlier today that ANVH was handed a bill for the dividend. Your posts are confusing me as you say ANVH was handed a bill then the T/A had nothing to do with the dividend payment.
What we are saying is that the reason the brokerages recinded the divi was because the T/A never paid them. Somehow the T/A has to be involved...
I'm sure it is... but brokerage firms recinded the dividend because the T/A DID NOT PAY THEM... why would the T/A send Anviron a bill for the dividend they DID NOT PAY?
Noquit... you say they were "presented the bill"... WHO sent them the bill, because the T/A had no idea of the dividend and therefore would not have sent them a bill.
I understand how much you want this company to be real... to make a lot of money with a little bit of money... but how many days will have to go by before you start losing faith in this PINK SHEET company? I'm not telling you to sell everything and start bashing this company... but you should really start thinking more critically about this company. All of your posts are praising ANVH and blaming others for why their stock isn't sky-rocketting... what will it take for you to start considering that ANVH could be to blame for some things?
It's pretty simple math, really... you can just get the info from the Ibox...
Oct 9th, 2008 to April 21, 2009 = 6.5 months (194 days / 30 days/month)
OS on Oct 9th = 110,905,871
OS on April 21 = 263,877,032
263,877,032 - 110,905,871 = 152,971,161
152,971,161 / 6.5 = 23,534,025 shares diluted per month on average... so he actually rounded down...
EDIT: I assumed Shorts is a male... my apologies if this assumption was incorrect
How's the new website coming along? The one they've had in testing for however many months...
Sorry if this has been brought up...I just got back from my honeymoon and I didn't feel like going through all the posts...
I picked up some FAS June 11 calls yesterday for .85... I might be ITM today!
I also picked up some FAS $9.00 puts just in case FAS tanks... I would prefer it go sharply in one direction... but since I'm straddling it will probably go to like $9.30s all day so that my options expire worthless
I picked up some FAS 10.00 calls for a quick flip at .15... if FAS gets to 9.75 today I can get out of em at .25 I think
