Plant and animal respiration
An important natural source of carbon dioxide is plant and animal respiration, which accounts for 28.56% of natural emissions (not man caused). Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of the chemical reaction that plants and animals use to produce the energy they need.

The larger picture discusses the +/- exchange of CO2 which natural elements seem to balance. It appears the man caused portion is upsetting the balance. Nice read above.
From what I research, like below, Formic Acid has many uses and potential for more. Thus, excess issues are not fact. Further, only a derivative, Formic Anhydrate, is potential unstable and is not the form connected with ERC. It would take much higher temperatures, other acids and severe dehydration to decompose it. Also, no one seems to have addressed the aspect of time... do I worry if it takes 1000 years? Just saying....
Since it has widespread use, this challenge does not seems to be a non-issue. I like the future of formic acid... just one of many benefits of ERC.

Ah, the armchair tire kickers. As a former financial manager for large corporations, I know they move at their own speed and tell what they want when they want... but identified projects walk forward. Patience with GE/Alstom is necessary.
This post reflects work, investment and factual clarity. Kudos to you SM for outstanding work! We seem to be in the pre-commercial announcement phase which always takes time... so the reminder is much appreciated !!!
As such, this post is my signature on a welcome Declaration of CO2 Independence in the near future.
To all, a remembered 4th of July as to why we have the freedoms we do.
Historically here, those who have forecasted a continual Rubicon disaster would starve on their accuracy rate.
I am still hopeful for the getter green solution at MVTG.
I am pleased that:
1. The debt here never became toxic.
2. The O/S shares only grew for needed expenses at far less rate than almost any other intro-tech company of its size.
3. The grants MVTG worked hard on to receive paid a majority of its expenses during the last few years.
4. MVTG is still operating, being funded and improving its tech under agreements with GE/Alstom, Canada, etc.
5. MVTG has even greater potential/promise than 7 years ago when I paid $.34 pps.
These are facts and DD, among other information listed through IHUB that this is no pump. It amazes me that, given all the progress and potential here, that whiners still need cheerleading on a daily basis.
It is reassuring that MVTG has multiple patents or applied for around the world. Better still the whale(s) that it is associating with for licenses, market awareness and protection just when it is needed. IMHO.
I do not see any "employees jumping ship". MVTG is fully employed with talent and necessary R&D people to move forward. At this stage every human resource must be appropriate to making a necessary contribution. I presume even Alstom/GE may have some influence in staffing resources.
There were plenty of in/out staff for Edison's enterprises as well, now that you bring that up. It was true for my own business. I see MVTG soon moving to a new level of operations and focus.
Thanks for being here.

It is reassuring that through agreements, contracts etc. MVTG has ongoing R&D funding from Alstom/GE, Canada, etc. So it HAS money covering these operations. With cross agreements for joint technology improvements or inventions, MVTG has whale-sized collaborators, etc. that can and will protect due to their own self interests and ownership of progress.
Also nice are the now many patents around the world for MVTG's tech with more patents applied for. Thanks, Larry & Co.

Interesting Technology Development Parallel: Who Is It?
1. His most prolific years were when young (25-40)
2. Ignoring science philosophers of the day, he doggedly pursued testing for greatly advanced practical results and marketing to the endangering of his own health.
3. He tested every possible known option in pursuit of making any idea work no matter how long it took.
4. He pushed his devoted employees almost as hard as himself.
5. He was looking for societal benefit in every invention and not the money alone that it may bring.
6. He (re) invested millions of his own money in almost every project regardless of the sacrifice to his own pleasure or family.
7. He had many detractors, non believers and nay-sayers especially from the professional invention community who were proved so wrong.
8. Early phase Financial backers were very scarce and way too conservative by withholding funds based on market sentiment.
9. His inventions usually broke new ground not familiar others.
10. His inventions were not a link in the chain but usually part of a complicated system of service delivered to the public: (lights, electricity, outlets, electric motors, power generators, power houses, distribution lines, music replayable and re-recordings, color movies with sound, etc.)
11. The better invention products often took much time in years of development to be usable.
Often the work and announcements of progress were kept secret until almost ready.

I see similarities in the journey of MVTG and Edison's enterprises.

Existing contractual funds flows $ in to MVTG monthly for R&D, etc. That is an investment Alstom, GE and Canada will support and did their DD towards getting a return on.
That MOVE was mentioned before and my response now is the same as then: Moves are for high brass and not ongoing projects, R&D, etc. No doubt Alstom has the primary management of the ERC/MRFC grants and European negotiations... and they are not moving to Boston.
It continues in its slug-fest course. Rocky 1-5 :)
I thank all who helped me get a pile of shares at such a discount yesterday! Looking forward to the progress news that is coming.
In the sometimes cloudy world of business and government, it is we investors who on faith and DD can only see dimly what is going on until the news arrives. Historically, little MVTG has survived and required long periods for each progress step. Other companies have been more fortunate in getting support, but that is life.
MVTG has solid contributions to make to our world. That is a good mantra...
Nice find! Also glad those ongoing grant monies are greatly helping to fund our R&D.
There is a universe of difference between erratic pps movements in any stock and the DD of long term venture success. So yes I follow the dots of DD. When the fat lady sings, so will I in the key DD.
Why should I leave just when it is getting interesting?
"My people perish for lack of vision..." Quote
HQ moves are for top brass. Alstom is not moving and would assuredly continue the R&D, involvement, grant applications, etc. regardless with GE oversight. I see the plans continuing on target as best as technology commercialization and government involvement allows. Never fast, but... :)
Amazing that some posters are insider experts on what Alstom, GE or MVTG would or should do given circumstances they see ... as if there were only one option. Yes, there is a veil of sorts called "behind the scenes".
I prefer to follow the DD dots instead of "advice" from such unreliable armchair quarterbacks. I am still smiling, especially for the great discount we temporarily have available!
I see progress in the DD here. Just slower than I wanted, but, hey! The investment venture community is not always helpful when you need them. Challenges? MVTG has had a few over the years that some have forgotten about. Slow starter, but my the great partners MVTG has now to commercialize ERC/MRFC is expected to faster track it IMHO. That is why I am still here after 7 years and did not dump at the last two rides up.
Perhaps Alstom, GE and Canada who have financially supported ERC/MRFC to this very day and in the future can tell us what went "terribly wrong". The only thing visible to me is lack of investing patience in the documented DD.
I wonder if some poster here has connections to get MVTG the funding it needs for both areas that are a small fraction of what PLUG obtained. Larry would be eternally grateful, and the rest of us as well.
The progress is slower than I like but faster than most medicines take for FDA approval. So, it will come. The officers have a vested interest in making it happen IMHO.
Thanks for being here.

More oil pumped in the world = more carbon (and pollution). We need ERC and related technology.
One never knows how thoughtless people may MISS-construe my past or yours. That statement by you is now on public record without disclaimer. The authorities found nothing and that issue was discussed at length here years ago in the light of day favorably.
Larry never received my money for MVTG shares. Some other selling shareholder did and I do not regret it. When MVTG arises as expected in the future per DD, how many tire-kickers will publically apologize for flippant inappropriate remarks and accusations?
This technology I long recognized takes experience, teamwork, financial resources, influence and time. All this MVTG of the past was thin on and currently looks very promising with Alstom, GE and prior major firm collaborators list in DD.
I appreciate the few who actually make a valuable contribution here with impassioned logic, information and measurable DD.
It always seems darkest just before the dawn. Thanks, MVTG.
MVTG's prior state plans, actions and operations as documented and funded are still in effect. For now, now further airwaves needed IMHO. It will come in its own good time.
Thanks Larry, after all these years I am still crazy about MVTG (take from Simon and Garfunkle)
I see no lies but reasonable responses and caution the challenges of bringing such a large scale impact of green to world use. It is fact that pps is mostly based on future expectations, and statements made here as well as by PR/NR are done on the same stated basis. Management's invested value tracks ours closely... so they have a vested interest in seeing good happen asap.
I share the pain of all those who had to wait this long. :)
Fortunately the market saw potential in MVTG to .75 and with the projects still to break out at MVTG is more than possible again. Tongue wagging to kick tires does little but show some posters agenda. Connecting some past dots in DD research gave me and others hope for the Alstom-GE, etc monies that are now coming in.
My, what whining, when we are getting close to our good future. It always seems darkest just before the dawn. No warning needed.
So what is slippery about transparent buying? I am sure he did, as did I on the way down, etc. EcoMike brought an engineering expertise and common sense explanations which I appreciate time and again. Not sure what your agenda is other than kicking tires since you choose not to own the stock here. Funny, trying to make existing shareholders miserable does not affect the company nor its ongoing progress, right?
I'd rather be here than PLUG, etc. I stand with Alstom's support.
Over the past seven + year, I have seen little MVTG with ERC/MFRC struggle mightily to get funding, support and attention for its green ventures. It is in DD that this is well on its way now with significant partners. Since it takes longer than we wanted, the impatient parties and tire kickers call foul. But the referees do not see it that way. I have the option to stay or go as an investor. The only warning here is the same for every investment, do your DD and be patient.
MVTG has been as transparent as the law and careful business common sense dictates IMHO as a fellow business entrepreneur. Such is the shortcoming of our current venture capital system that ERC/MRFC did not get the same support early as did Plug, etc. to prove/disprove this technology more clearly before now. Alstom, GE etc. are cunning with investments, but also successful. All the sour grapes did here over the past months was to drive the pps lower, for now. Proud of yourselves?
I sit confident knowing the future of what I own. Peace...
I see no PR of dilution but only sarcasm on a broken record. Link please of mentioned result which you throw out as guaranteed occurance.
ERC and MFRC - I see progress and am pleased to be here as a significant shareholder.
Underwater, yes. But DD gives me a long term aqualung to view the coming sights.

What record, eh? MVTG is about implementing a much needed CO2 solution which takes development and partners. In the DD you will find it.
Agreed. I am low on the totum pole of priority on news but I see the dots. Thanks for being here!

My favorable experience is that the money follows those who make a significant contribution to society, especially over a long period of time. The DD here impresses me that MVTG is going to make that contribution.
Still invested... 7+ years and confident.
No argument there. Compared to other stocks I watch in OTC, those increases in O/S are small. A/S change uses I believe have yet to be announced as O/S to any degree. Perhaps, as time may tell, these will be used as part of a major step forward.
Thanks for being here. :)
Significant increases in the A/S or O/S are required SEC disclosures in a timely manner. I am glad for that ruling.
Many changes in the last two years have been necessary and appropriate for MVTG as it moves into new arenas and contracts. With Alstom, Canadian grants, etc. paying the R&D bills timely by long and defined contracts, I do not consider MVTG broke. These steps are key to getting ERC/MRFC to revenue streaming and pps climbing. These green tech ideas need broad application and big hands to get implemented. That is why I started here 7+ years ago. Keep going MVTG!
No one knows for sure what is factored into any current pps without a 100% survey of the shareholders and whole market. And even then getting a complete committed answer is...
I find no mentionable dilution in fact. By transparency MVTG has just the great employees educated and appropriate for the R&D they are paid to do. The support it gets from its partners portends a great long term future. They are pleased with the progress and therefore so should I be. The pps reflects a lack of vision by a few in spite of the DD that grows favorably.
There is a bright green future here. :)
SPS50 7+ years like many others
At this time of year, and always, may I extend a spirit-filled greeting and hope for a more peaceful new year to all who have contributed here... and that benefitted me. Thanks for the gift of you.
Well said!
"They who only look at where they are can not see where they are going."
It is regrettable that such a sour and unsuppported opinion appears in print. Alstom is intelligent and in their own deliberate way they professionally evaluate every investment they make. I can not imagine a multiyear contract of R&D with Mantra received any less attention on a continual basis. Looks like a great fit to which we should thank both managements.
May you benefit from this collaborative effort like the rest of us green investors. :)
That is why the "market" and some stock-show post talkers are way behind the curve in most stock movements. Investing is more for the future than just today's status. Thanks for being here. :)
"One can not make good decisions without good information." We have much DD here of good information, potential, contracts, etc. But posted conclusions of doom without input from the parties involved is just plain unwise. For me, until MVTG or Alstom or GE says otherwise via a PR/NR, things are moving forward as per last communicated. Lack of new material information proves nothing until we hear otherwise, which is just what the SEC requires.
Any venture partners usually get a piece of the pie, whether by split revenues or stock. It that is what it takes to bring great upward value in the future here, it has my vote.
I suspect this is a self imposed quiet period. So, I paid my money and trust my investment long term plan. No guessing nor in/out/in for me.
Thanks Larry & Co. !
