From what I research, like below, Formic Acid has many uses and potential for more. Thus, excess issues are not fact. Further, only a derivative, Formic Anhydrate, is potential unstable and is not the form connected with ERC. It would take much higher temperatures, other acids and severe dehydration to decompose it. Also, no one seems to have addressed the aspect of time... do I worry if it takes 1000 years? Just saying....

Since it has widespread use, this challenge does not seems to be a non-issue. I like the future of formic acid... just one of many benefits of ERC.
