The latest news from Pantheon is as follows:
Pantheon Resources Sees Higher Oil Reserves in Alaska
3/23/20 12:12 PM ET (Dow Jones)Print
By Adriano Marchese
Pantheon Resources PLC said Monday that its estimates are "significantly" higher following the completion of an analysis of its oil reserves at the Talitha project in Alaska.
The company said it now estimates that the shallowest of the three wells contains 1.8 billion barrels of oil in place, with a P50 technically recoverable resource of 483 million barrels of oil.
It noted that previous estimates for all three zones combined were 2.6 billion barrels of oil, with P50 technically recoverable resources of between 463 million barrels and 508 million barrels.

This stock will taking off in the next year or so and I am on the ground floor.
My user name is Jimaat
I do not have an alias. Will look at getting one. Thanks.
Will do. I have none at present. I just saw that press release and looked at the basics and saw it was an opportune to jump in. I've been in the oil business in Texas for over 30 years and sold my company three years ago and so have has a lot of experience in putting investor packages together and buying and selling working interests. I didn't really think too much about this as it is peanuts, but a 100,000 shares when it hits $2.00 in a couple of years is a great return on investment. Volume will pick up in a year, especially once the economy gets going and oil begins rising again. Plus if Saudi Arabia and Russia go back to free enterprises, this will one of the few places left where $30/BBL in America will be profitable.
That info makes me feel better. I still need to check with my broker to see why the disparity in volume. I have managed to get 42,000 shares over the last month, the last group at .17. I will just sit on it for the next couple of years. I have a daily bid in at .15 right now in case someone wants to dump. I'll increase the amount over time as it rises, which I have no doubts about if it weathers out the storm.
It definitely is the same company. Other than that, it will take someone to explain the difference in price per share and volume. Jim
I don't know. I will check it out. Thanks.
I've managed to accumulate 33,000 shares of this. It takes a while before someone will sell. Everyone seems to be sitting on this, looking to the long term when oil comes back. Still two years out so it is time to get in on the bottom and hope the company has the resources to hold out. To say oil is hurting is an understatement. My sons tool company had 750 employees a month ago. Now it is down to 350 and getting smaller everyday.
The economy as is and the fact that it is a long-term investment. Oil is cheap and they will wait to drill. It's easier than fracing which is a plus because they can sell cheaper. I'm betting it will go up but not real fast. No one is talking about it right now and won't until more press releases come.
Stand to reason. It is a British concern
But then again, it is for .024
TD Ameritrade, My latest order is still unfulfilled.
I got 20,000 and have an order in now for 20,000 more. Just tiptoeing in.
Already a two bagger. Sky's the limit
I'm surprised no one has mentioned $PTHRF. Pantheon has just announced a hug billion barrel strike on the north slope in Alaska, which lies near the Alaskan pipeline. It will be profitable at $30.BBL, which is so much better than oil from fracing. Expected production is at 90,000/day. And it's down to 0.201 now. Perfect timing. Jim
What have two Texas counties got to do with Alaska oil?
I placed my first order in on this stock today. The proven reserves are there and it can be making money at $30 a barrel, which beats the hell out of most companies today.
Noted the announcement of a huge oil discovery on the Alaska North Slope very close to the Alaskan pipeline. Looks like a great opportunity. I have not invested yet, but am definitely looking.
very insightful. Thanks
Does anyone have anything worth saying about this stock other than the usual BS?
Thanks. Apparently the few who make the decisions didn't think it was on subject, which is unfortunate because they let so much crap through that is irrelevant or ego serving. I'm too tired to repost it, but I think everyone should have been able to see it. GLTA. Jim
I've been selling and buying, more like day trading not investing. I still have around 12M shares, down from 52M shares. When Dredge left and no one knew the particulars I got skitterish. I sent him emails and it took awhile for him to finally answer me. I basically said his work there did not pass the smell test and he said it had nothing to do with that; instead, he said Ebola and diamonds did him in. Nothing against SNEY. It was only lately that he started hearing rumors. He made no disparaging remarks, and was just matter-of-fact.
He parted ways with SNEY over operations. He thought their focus on diamonds to establish immediate returns was wrong. He is an expert on gold recovery and not diamonds, so he decided it was time to take his expertise elsewhere. I might also add that he told me he has heard rumors that SNEY might not last the month. Just rumors. And don't shoot me. I'm saying what he told me personally. Jim
News? No worthwhile news to my way of thinking. Same old garbage.
It's not sweet.
SNEY is only getting worse...more baseless PRs with hopes and dreams. No real world results.
Hale has failed just as bad if not worse than past management. It seems that Dredge isn't performing either.
The Q filing will be very revealing...I predict more of the same. No revenue, more dilution, no accounted product, lofty executive summary and pie in the sky predictions.
Ooops! Thought I was Austin there for a minute. Forgive me.
Still holding all of my shares and looking forward to good profits. Keep on dredging. Jim
Alright. Can't be more happier for you. About this time next year you will be wallowing in money. LOL
Gotcha
Kinda curious Risk. You no longer own stock in Sney. Why do you care? And, just for your information, I have talked to Dredge many times, and I am satisfied with who he is, and since I do own shares, that's all that matters to me. Best of luck on your other investments. Jim
Day late and a dollar short. LOL
I'm in
Damned interesting. Nothing like a little publicity for the company. I like your style. Jim
I personally rejoice in someone reaching a million shares in this stock. I like to keep things onb an even keel, but with what I've been finding out lately, if SNEY survives in the short time, it is going to thrive in the future. It is in the right area at the right time and with the right person at the helm. While some people are concerned with where the money is coming from to take care of the debts incurred, I with some personal experience look to the fact that debt is being taken care of and operations are extending and progress is being made. While I respect those who want to base there investments on proper filing and reports made, etc., I view this as more a gamble based on what I've learned and a bet on the current management to make this thing really take off. Those vacating now are doing so because they are uncomfortable with the company and that is great too. They can look back and get comfort if this loses, or with regret if it takes off. My bet is on success. We're still a ways off of significant revenue.... look to 2015. Iknow, I know, but like Austin has pointed out. They have a mouthful of product and no way of getting it to the stomach. All in due time. Get those shares and reach the million dollar level. Pass by the beer and tacos and put the money in stock. Jim
To paraphrase soemthing Dredge said to me in the last few days, its not the present that counts, he is in it for the future and believe me, he is excited. When they get the infrastructure down for getting their product to market, there is going to be a lot of money made by the company. How that translates to us making money by buying and selling shares, I do not know. I know I've lost $66,000 just today, but man when ity goes up, whoa Nelly! I just might buy me a handful of those 20 carat babies, er, diamonds that is. Jim
Your first post was on October 9, 2010, right at the sweet spot in term of stock prices. About the time I made my first purchases. My first post like a lot of old timers was in December of 2010. Jim
I heard from him not too long ago. Not in Sney as of then and not interested. I'll contact himagain and see if he changed his mind.
60M+. Another thing, If Sl is expecting to raise its annnual diamond production from 400,000 carats (or is it karats?) to a million, what company will be in the vanguard? Things are looking good. Back in 2010, diamonds was just something being said to sweeten the pot. The emphasis was on gold and REEs. Now in the last year, diamonds are the main attraction. It is getting good, especially in Liberia. Our washplant is in the crossroads of major producing areas. What we don't own, we'll get a percentage of. I like this company more and more. Jim
Love your information Falon. Keep it up. My sources in Africa, which I know to be entirely reliable tell me that SNEY is perfectly situated on the ground and on the ground at least is far outstripping its expectations. For the idiots who want to play with cameras or make predictions of what is to come on their self-proclaimed timetables, you might ratchet it back a little. The gold and diamond recovery is ahead of schedule. However, and Austin has been very good at pointing out, SNEY does not have the infrastructure yet to handle the production. That is like me having oil sitting in tanks with no gatherers to pick it up. Tons of oil and no pipeline. No money coming in. Dredge to my knowledge has produced miracles on the ground. Almost singlehandidly got those dredges working (humming is a better word), gotten rid of bad workers, and gotten professional dive crews working. In short production is there, so for all of you back seat quarterbacks asking dumb questions, get off your asses and do due diligence. It actually takes work, not chart reading. The answers are in Africa. Oh that wash plant. Actually it is capable of producing 500 tons an hour, and there is so much gravel around, it is unbelievable. Marketing will be a bitch in the short term, but the future is looking great. If I didn't own 60+, I'd buy more. Don't look for dramatic gains in the short term, but I still think a dime a share by this time next year will be easily exceeded. But that is my opinion only. And unlike some here, I actually have put my money where my mouth is. Good luck, especially to longs. To you I say quit worring about getting in at .004 or .003, or .0095. Just get in and keep accumulating, because this stock is no longer destined to stay south. It is going north. Again, just my humble opinion. Jim
I am quite comfortable at the pace the company is moving. In fact, I am enjoying SNEY's revival of sorts. It was dead on its feet this time last year, and now it is jumping around like a hot tamale. It has given us more information in the last month thatn in all of the time previously. Delays are merely a prelude to what is coming. Can't stand the heat, get out of the way and let the dredges work.
Why would anyone call him out and this? It is a great critique and it is well thought out and analyzed. He is playing the odds correctly and doing what a thoughtful person would do. I on the other hand have always been a risk taker, and I gamble. Usually the house wins, but not always. I really appreciate his input. I've followed it on occassion (when I played the highs and lows) and came out with more shares.
