Pantheon Resources PLC said Monday that its estimates are "significantly" higher following the completion of an analysis of its oil reserves at the Talitha project in Alaska.
The company said it now estimates that the shallowest of the three wells contains 1.8 billion barrels of oil in place, with a P50 technically recoverable resource of 483 million barrels of oil.
It noted that previous estimates for all three zones combined were 2.6 billion barrels of oil, with P50 technically recoverable resources of between 463 million barrels and 508 million barrels.
