Thanks, VP...no interference taken! Yes, I've invested here what I'm comfortable losing completely. But risk now, compared to before (in)formal NAK JV, has decreased substantially. And of course, shares are no longer priced for bankrupty.
New to this apparent empty board...
...appears the company's decision to buy back stock was a good one as well as to focus more on oil > gas. EPS is low, but rapidly (?) improving if production costs come down.
Have folks here abandoned this discussion for another?
Regards,
Milo
Very articulate, Mr. Kipp!
I've no idea how many different shareholders exist for LBSR, but if each one put up $1000, perhaps that would allow for our own drilling program (let's increase the odds a bit, and say FIVE carefully selected drill holes) over our best ZTEM target. I imagine getting the equipment on-site is rather expensive in itself, so the few extra holes might not add that much more expense, but I'm no drill specialist/geologist.
New to this board and this stock:
At OS ~ 30M shares, and $100M in est'd profit, that's a sweet $3/share earnings...way too cheap when compared to other coal companies.
I see varying estimates on their coal holdings, with range of 60M tonnes to 87M. Best guesses here?
Finally, H. Greenberg's attack...current thoughts?
...just someone here mentally preparing us for further dilution, e.g. via compensation for Vollmer's efforts...
Yes, agreed...sour grapes guys! Look forward, not backwards!! This stock will rock...your A&P- or JB-blues will be cured by your knowledge of the real worth of this company.
I lost mucho dinero in this one too, ridden all the way down to 0.0018, and then sold. But that was then, this is now...LOOK FORWARD!!
RE: Mitsu's mission, complements of "Joe the Dirt" from NAK board:

Of course the shares "back then" were trading as if the company were "to go dark"...but ZTEM, if you're right, meant something THEN AS NOW. What is your guess as to where things would have leveled out, if not for the A&P hammer?
And the lights remain on, at least until August.
The rise from 0.002 to 0.20 in two months still boggles the mind!!
"While the past is no prediction of future success", as disclaimers will remind us, I imagine MANY MANY folks (outside of folks invested here) are also lickin' their chops for the next move up as whispers now abound about our potential...that stupendous adrenaline-infusing climb left a mark on the market not soon to be forgot.
Yes, then the hammer from A&P, but won't greed trump fear here??
Okay, enough armchair psychology spec from the shrink...
OMO...I'm pretty new to Ihub, but already am familar with your keen reputation!!
Let me ask you, as my head still gets swimmy when I think about LBSR...is this one of the best risk/reward opportunities around/ever??
Thanks so much,
Milo
New to this blog, hello everyone. Started taking a position last week. I like the action! Seems like great real estate, great business model, and great management ALL when precious metals sector is on fire!!
Two quick questions:
#1 Has the company used ZTEM (or similar technology) on the Lookout Mountain area??
#2 Their 18% interest in a RAE WALLACE MINING: any idea of the potential of this holding??
Thanks,
Milo
BTW, Montana rocks (pardon the pun)...I've always loved the time I've spent there...super nice down-to-earth (punning again!) folks.
Would/could Vollmer know Mitsu execs already??
It would take a paltry amount of their 9% NAK sale to drill a few holes on LBSR-claimed land. They saw/know the ZTEM. They've just enjoyed a fabulous gain with NAK. HUGE potential return on relatively small LBSR investment...
...wouldn't you want to play the lottery, knowing you have a very high probability winning ticket?? As someone here posted recently, this is as close to inside information as one can have legally.
They would have seen our ZTEM data and know (as we do) their investment return would be vastly greater. And with the profit they make with us, can then buy the copper/moly coming out of the more advanced/producing NAK pebble!
Hey...I sense a love affair.
God bless our 6000 year old AZ resources...wow she's right, I was thinkin' like 6,000,000+ years. Whew, better get it out of the ground QUICK before it's gone!!
[thx, ballz...this site needs some lighter fare for this Friday night...]
Thanks for the DD, Joe!! Forced selling at it's finest...time to reload on NAK!? No material effect on LBSR seems to me...
Thanks for the DD, Joe!! Forced selling at it's finest...time to reload on NAK!?
"So the moratorium essentially limits competition and gives us a nice big percentage of the domestic uranium pie, in high-grade, easily mined deposits."
This doesn't get any better for our AZ position, except to DRILL, DRILL, DRILL it!!!
Does Canaccord give any rationale for their estimate vis-a-vis TD's?
Clever thinking, SGR! Mitsubishi (if confirmed to be selling) would be reaping > 500% gains (assuming getting in < $5/share) on their current investment. Why not take at least some off the table, for whatever reason (hopefully for further BC caldera prospecting).
Excellent retort, VP!
Good logic!!
Tens of billions in AZ or gazillions in AK of mineral wealth: I'll take either option thank you sir.
The marketing brains of Vollmer > geologic wit of Briscoe AT THIS POINT IN TIME.
Very important question: how much does NAK's recent pps appreciation reflect knowledge (and potentially enhanced valuation) by institutional investors of their 60/40 JV with us??
Strong argument to also own NAK. How many of us actually do??
IF NAK doesn't reveal plan to drill our targets THIS spring/summer, then we should seek another JV with another suitor to drill JUST ONE TARGET NNNNNNNOOOOOOWWWWWW.
DRILL--DRILL--DRILL!!!
Could Anglo be trying to exit their position for fear that enviro-nazis will prevent (or at least severely delay) development of Pebble??
The possible rift developing between Anglo and NAK might be consistent with this thesis...thoughts all?
I agree...what an embarrassment...but we were desparate...so NAK plays good poker!
Much obliged! And good to be forgiven...
Thanks for answering my queries!!
GO LBSR!!
BTW: my submission for quote of the day --
Owning LBSR shares today is like owning a winning lottery ticket before it's announced!
"Just my 0.2"
Hey...get your "2 cents" straight! Around here, cents (and sense) matter!! <friendly sarcasm only>
Drill--Drill--Drill!!! [...hey brother, can you spare a dime?]
The 3000%+ rise since low sub-penny (my charting can't tease out those 1/10th's of a penny now) presents a glimpse of the similar trace of our pennies price in the larger LBSR stock chart of the next 3 years.
I agree...JB would be best as a CTO, NOT CEO...but we have been dealt our cards, and WHAT STELLAR CARDS we are playing!!
Nice one!!
