As long as their hostile takeover price is above 50 cents I'm good with that.
The R/S is inevitable.
What to do? What to do? What to do? No Steipp to kick around anymore. Time to look in the mirror and hope Lugee wants to increase value. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Well, weren't seeing much progress in revenues under what was there.
Can't fight a guy owning almost half the Company and 3 Board seats...
I am uneasy with this...
The fact that TEAM STEIPP is all over this pumping it up sends shivers up my spine. Obviously this move proves they had it wrong and all those they shouted down had it right. I want to be proved wrong. I wanted to find a new beginning. But my many years of investing is thinking de ja vue.
Taking the company Private with Li having Majority Ownership and Control of BOD.
Screwing over all investors.
Tom and Li have a strong plan for the future.
Even the naysayers were bitching about "skin in the game." Lugee did that. That's where their argument is valid, but even if the current execs had bought shares, if they can't execute, it's meaningless, but Lugee has 63 mill in, has established jv's back in mid-2015, he's a scientist, businessperson, can make larger pieces, has the Fortune 100 customers already.
I still look at it as if Steipp wasn't assured of making BOATLOADS of coin from his holdings, he wouldn't be out or there'd be a battle. Regardless, Lugee wants that 63 mill to return many, many fold.
Agreed, he's moving at a rapid pace and it's because he has many of the pieces already in place. I feel like he just needed those cross-licenses to enter the areas he couldn't before and you know Apple had to agree to the sign-off with CIP.
He put Engel in the mix with Lugee, established territories, now it's time to have a new CEO in place to finalize execution. Not a bad parting gift of 11 mill shs immediately vesting. Anyone got the exercise price on those?
Regardless, his one year re-up pretty much said it all. He knew he was moving out. He knew this all along. He just made sure all was in place before he left so he could make STUPID money on all those options. He wasn't leaving until he knew all was secure and was going to make millions and millions on his holdings. And you can't do that where it's priced at, and where the volume is, right now - you have to have a sales channel ready to go and you have to have manufacture ready to go to get the price moving.
This is going to be a very fun 2017, if not sooner.
According to this MTRN is BLOWING UP!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!!

Whatever is going on...that encouraging page that was put up on the EONTEC web site and then quickly taken down...the take down action is all part of it. its got to be HUGE.
In the larger scheme of things my opinions are simply to be enjoyed or not. Just lol anyway and pretend I was funny. PMMF gets it. I think.
101200.
Good for you. You win a cookie. You can pick it up in the lobby.
Post 101200!!!
I don't understand this.
I think after this "special" call, I really don't think there's going to be much "grilling" of anyone. I think there's going to be enough positive stuff going on and maybe such movement in price that shareholders will only feel giddy.
This is not a "pump." They've never avoided "nothing" calls before.
They have Lugee with 63.4 mill in the coffer directing its use, forming bmg j.v.'s in China since mid-2015, ability to manufacture larger pieces, and LQMT dodged this one and haven't set a firm date on this "special" call because, in my opinion, they're waiting for something to be confirmed before they set the date of the call, which apparently will be separate of the annual call.
Fact is, Lugee did say 2017. So far, he's been more than a man of his word and despite a "major shareholder and other shareholders not necessarily having interests aligned," Steipp, Ching, et al, all have shares and you can bet they want to score as much as Lugee does because they like money as much, or more, than anyone else, but I know, I know Lugee and the insiders are going to find a way to only benefit themselves and the minority shareholders are all SCREWED!!!
Where are the unicorns that predicted 8 cents a share?
.16 is about Lugee's basis. May go lower until they come up with something to create value.
Bub, given the five + years I've been waiting (and I know that I am far from the longest sufferer here) five months is nothing.
Truth is that it is hard to believe that he can make an earth shattering impact in under a year.
Hard to get a dim bulb to lighten.
GO LQMT and LUGEE LI!!!
people think Tom Steipp has angry shareholders
Great point. And can you even begin to imagine the Chinese and U.S. connections he already has to get this money in??? Sweet, but the waiting will be torture!
Lugee's basis is about .16, but he's got 100 mill at .25. Those are 8 cents under water, but it's also why I believe there is the penny premium - for now, anyway.
Be a great employee for the next 5-6 months, then show your boss your brokerage statement. Walk softly and carry a big stick...
Nice to dream, isn't it? Only difference is we will NOT be halted!
One thing that's certain, though, from all we have read and heard, Lugee is a DOER! Honestly, when you read some of the stuff, you start thinking same old, same old, but then Lugee DOES follow-up and MAKE IT HAPPEN!
He said 2017 in that pr when the balance of the funds came in - 2+ months before the revised 12/31 deadline - that's NOT the old LQMT. The old LQMT is something screwed up happens and the funds don't come in. And Lugee was smart enough to shift the BofD by becoming CHAIR as well as getting two of his guys in to influence the direction of EVERYTHING. Can you imagine just the fact if he gets on the call how much more credibility that will bring?
It's going to be a torturous next 5 months or so waiting, but with Eon having to re-focus their business because of revenue shortfall projections, LQMT is front and center with him - just that recent JV in China is proof he's putting more money into this and laying the foundation for the roll-out, and he'll make money in his China exclusivity, but his REAL wealth will be created in his stock liquidity in the U.S. with LQMT.
Come on Lugee, get us back to Nasdaq, like you probably want to!
You got the wrong critic, juice.
BTW, EONTEC stock closed today at $.1278 cents US.
How do you be considered the leader in your field if you can't get it up to at the very least 1?
When I've been educated, I'll readily admit it. I've been educated.
Now it's stuck in my head forever until all my marbles fall out or LQMT finishes up removing the last remnants of sanity from Longs, whichever comes first. GL.
Appears I overestimated your cleverness.
Totally agree, except they need several contracts and I don't give any credibility to comments made under forward-looking SEC protections. Not excusing those statements of the past, I just don't give them any credibility because of the BS forward-looking protections afforded. The numbers are the proof.
Anyhow, as they get more "confidence," they can start to pull the plug on creating hopes and dreams to falsely satisfy rightfully pissed-off, long-suffering shareholders. I think the Lugee association has done that. Lugee is saying 2017, he's committing big dollars of his own at risk, while selling off shares of Eon to do so.
I do wish more companies would give a day or 2 to scour financials before a c.c., so reasonably informed questions can at least be asked about reported disclosures and numbers.
Not saying we're in a great spot, just saying they need to keep building and since Lugee has so much skin in the game, knowledge, direction and CONTROL, they are as best positioned as they'll ever be. Truthfully, they've run out of second, third, fourth, etc chances. This is it for them, but Lugee has too much to lose now and a lot of drive and self-interest in seeing his stock price move up. GL.
It's always raining. I hear ya'.
Give Lugee some rope or hang him? Think he's not now culpable for any complaints now? He's got 400 mill out of 882 mill and 3 BofD spots, time to give Lugee some hatred and mistrust.
I'm willing to give Lugee a chance, though, to see if he's interested in raising his stock price.
P.S. ANY customer - not just LQMT's - has to provide consent for disclosure of their name. As for the other questions, not required to disclose (particularly for prototypes) and no Company does, unless they're looking to manipulate, but I'm sure those questions can be asked in the next call. Will be interesting to see if they get asked.
No Huge increase in Revenue or Expenditure. Maybe it will show-up in Q4 .... or 2017.
Services procured from Eontec were $58 and $68 during the three and nine month periods ended September 30, 2016, respectively.
Totally unforeseen and every good reason to suddenly avoid the CC, Cassius.
Many were expecting the worst - 0 revs, huge suit, etc etc etc and most of the time, those looking for such bad results aren't disappointed, but all things considered, this wasn't bad at all. Maybe the "Lugee Effect" is in play.
They've repeatedly said 2017, so hopefully they are making cost-efficient molds and alloy from Eon to create prototypes now to sell real orders into 2017. Negative GP means minor orders, but lots of prototype parts still.
I see its bidding up to .17, but the volume still isn't there. That loss contingency rightfully worried many.
I posted it already - 750,000 settlement to break an Agreement to take Lugee's money. It's in the 10Q.
I have to say, though, look at their one month chart, although they do go through these cycles, so difficult to really speculate.
Of course, I remember. I didn't say anything about him being straightforward. The revs still are too weak and they're still at a negative gp.
Do we want to make opinions on old stuff or do we want to look at the numbers. I only care about the numbers? The words are forward looking BS. Take a look at what Hipple at MTRN says on his calls and how he ends up blaming "headwinds" when his fw looking statements fall short.
More fun to make things up...
