Placer County Water Agency Selects WPCS
Business Wire - January 14, 2004 07:30
EXTON, Pa., Jan 14, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Placer County Water Agency has chosen WPCS (OTCBB:WPCS), through its Clayborn Contracting subsidiary, to deploy a complete wireless network for an advanced supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) application.
The $407,588 project award is comprehensive in scope and consists of furnishing and erecting a 120 ft. communications tower, structured cabling and the installation of wireless equipment at 12 sites. The application calls for the linking of remote water storage tanks, pressure reducing stations and water treatment plants through a wireless network to control levels and flow.
The agency encompasses the entire 1,500 square mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Placer County Water Agency www.pcwa.net carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning, management, irrigation water supply, drinking water and hydroelectric energy.
David Gove, president of Clayborn Contracting Group, stated: "The diversified engineering services required for this comprehensive project displays our ability to deploy a complete solution for the end user. sootman, Yikes, they lost the right to use that patent...If they are relying on that for revenues, that could kill em...They also added 20 million shares it looks like:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/filings.jsp?symbol=QTFV
Read through those filings....Scary play..jmho Only 66 million o/s with those new 20 mill...so still not too bad share count wise...On watch for bounce play...
Sootman, let me look...
RXU, thanks & welcome aboard...
Mav, no I'm not in ADOT anymore...I'd buy back again at my original entry of .002 again...lmao
AllanP,
Yep, you need to be a paying member to get those special features...But you won't find those features on any free sites, I guarantee that...that search for all posts on all boards with the symbol mentioned anywhere in the post is worth the admission alone...jmho Plus remember someone had to write the code to make that happen & why should they give it away for free? I know I wouldn't & I write code myself..lol Good luck bro, hope you join up, I think you'll like it...jmho
AllanP,
CNES, you need to read those filings big time, here is an excerpt:
As of October 24, 2003, we had outstanding 526,534,342 shares of common stock, of which all but approximately 351,924,000 shares were unrestricted under the Securities Act of 1933. As of October 24, 2003, we also had outstanding options, warrants, promissory notes, convertible debentures and preferred stock that were exercisable for or convertible into approximately 837,161,000 shares of common stock, approximately 805,201,000 of which are covered by registration rights. Sales of a substantial number of shares of our common stock in the public market, or the perception that sales could occur, could adversely affect the market price of our common stock. Any adverse effect on the market price of our common stock could make it difficult for us to raise additional capital through sales of equity securities at a time and at a price that we deem appropriate.
Conversion or exercise of our outstanding derivative securities could substantially dilute your investment because the conversion and exercise prices of those securities and/or the number of shares of common stock issuable upon conversion or exercise of those securities are subject to adjustment.
We have issued various notes, debentures and warrants that are convertible or exercisable at prices that are subject to adjustment due to a variety of factors, including fluctuations in the market price of our common stock and the issuance of securities at an exercise or conversion price less than the then-current exercise or conversion price of those notes, debentures or warrants. As of October 24, 2003, the closing price of a share of our common stock on the OTC Bulletin Board{R} was $.0049. On that date, our notes, debentures and warrants outstanding with adjustable conversion and/or exercise prices were convertible or exercisable into approximately 781,987,000 shares of our common stock. The number of shares of common stock that these
They recently added another 12 million in an s-8, plus they just filed for a late filing...Sounds like they are buried, so be careful bro...read those filings...

sootman, I was really excited when I first looked at TCPD, but then when I dug I found this:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/print_filings.jsp?url=%2Fredirect.asp%3Ffilename%3D0001231742%252D04...
24 million new shares added...It's not all that bad considering there is only 60 million total with that added in...I will be watching this one closely, thanks for the heads up...
MW-Approaching buy level, I'd buy $20-21 range...jmho
Spifgirl, Great to see you here!
In answer to APOA, their 10Q came out & wasn't that great..They lost .02 per share...I think the mm's are still trying to work this one down lower...On the flip side, I still own shares at .045 average & plan on buying big at .03 or lower...With only 32 million shares outstanding, any volume & it pops hard...Hoping to play a small bounce to .08+ & bailing on them all for good...That's my plan, I'll post my average point & my exit on APOA as I know others are still in...Definitely not my best call, but I still think it will have it's day & I will turn it into a winner...Averaging takes losers & turns them into winners, I've done it too many time to convince me otherwise....Good luck to you & hopefully I can make it up everyone in the future with some better picks...
