4 PM.
And..........just why are you making this point? FYI, I like Mickey's enthusiasm and enjoy the conversation he brings to the forum.
Yes, I am very aware of that. Yesterday Mickey said he thought we might make $30 by end of year. Doubtful in my opinion.
Mickey, not sure if we'll reach $30 by year-end, but I'm happy with the steady rise over the past few weeks.
Btw, glad your back. Please stick around and share your thoughts as you think of them.
Myself, I'd love to see trading halted with the "ask" at $82
:>)
My3Sons, are you a legal professional or is your post just your opinion regarding NOK vs IDCC? Thanks!
Pantech signing is old news. How is this pertinent at present time?
Please explain this post for us less intellectual IDCC investors. Thanks!
Welcome back, Mickey. You have been missed!
Greetings fellow IDCC shareholders. Just got back in town and hope everyone had a great Christmas. Btw, it's nice to see our share price steadily on the rise. GO IDCC!!
OT: Just wanted to wish my fellow IDCC investors best wishes and MERRY CHRISTMAS! See ya all next Monday.
It appears that someone wants to keep us at or near $25 for options on Friday. Maybe it's called manipulation. JMO of course.
This Google phone sounds like news for IDCC. It should bump up earnings for 2nd qtr of next year. Please thank Revlis for us over here on the poor board.
Glen, I must have missed something. Please explain the SPRD sweet spot. Thanks in advance.
Jim, I was fully aware that you started the premium board. A while back Data mentioned part of the reason for the new board was to avoid Mickey and his followers or something to that effect. I still read the premium board because I like to read Revlis's posts along with others over there.
It doesn't have to be ok with me. That's the point. If posters conform to TOU posts don't have to be ok with anybody. I've never met Jim but do know that he has gone beyond the call of duty with the forums. I'm sure most here appreciate that but when a poster is singled out for posting his opinion, then there are other issues to work out.
Mickey is guilty of nothing more than stating his opinion and asking pertinent questions. He only lashes out when he is provoked. Myself along with others here enjoy Mickey's posts. My first preference is that everybody just get along, but if some of the members don't like getting along, they have the ignore feature to use.
Data, just curious. If what you say is true about why the premium board was started, why is it that while being a premium member yourself.........I guess what I'm trying to ask is why don't you just spend your time with Revlis and the others? If you look you'll see that most of the members that are annoyed by Mickey are premium members. I have to ask why they keep coming back here. After all isn't that the reason for the new board?
Don't get me wrong, I still read posts from Revlis and others over there but am confused by actions of some of you wasting time here.
Come on Mickey, I'm a fan of yours but let's tone it down a bit. Its apparent that you have enough friends here (including myself) that you don't have to cater to physical violence. Besides, if one of you was to get hurt IDCC might have one less investor. Guys, let's try and get along. Good things are coming for IDCC.....we just have to wait it out and pay our dues.
Great post John. I would rate it as one of the best so far this year. And Merry Christmas back at you and everyone else on this forum.
Good point, Jim. A link should be provided as proof of content.
Yes, I remember Mschere. I think most here at IHUB miss him. He was a contributor for sure.
I have to agree with Hookrider. To me, there are a few other posters here more deserving of discipline than Mickey. Jimlur, my hat is off to you for all the sweat and work you have put into the forums, but you really do go after Mickey with very little reason sometimes.
I always thought a moderator was to keep content on topic and remove any spam. Does this include editing of any posts by any poster even if the post is concerning IDCC?
At a minimum Mickey adds excitement to a otherwise quiet board. Keeps enthusiasm to newbies that may check in now and then. I agree that Mickey repeats things once in a while, but I still look for responses from others. If someone doesn't care for Mickey's posts.......simply ignore him.
+1 Well said!
Rockit, I've followed this forum since it's conception and I know who brings knowledge and wisdom. And there are some that just wade through whatever is provided by others and offer their opinions. At least Mickey shows enthusiasm in his investment while being honest about his thoughts regarding mgmt. Like I said before, I've never seen him attack anyone unless first provoked.
Instead of bashing people because of their quirks why not ignore them? Very few of us bring anything of substance to this forum. We all know who does and doesn't. Most (like myself) come here for valuable info provided by a few. Maybe when you have more to offer I'll "people mark" you.
Btw, afaik you and I have never met and I'm positive you don't know me yet you're telling me I need my head examined. I think not. Once again, like I mentioned before.........I wonder if you would say insulting comments to me face to face.
O.D., I guess I'm just asking that everybody try to get along. I'm pretty sure most people here have never met. That said, we should all ask ourselves if we would be as brazen if we would ever meet in person. My guess is we all would be much more respectful towards each other......so why not be respectful here?
I respectfully disagree with you. It seems you and Jimlur are laying-in-wait for Mickey. Every post he makes, you attack him. Heck, you even went after me a while back. Unless provoked, Mickey has never attacked either of you or anybody for that matter.
As far as I'm concerned Mickey is one of few on this forum that asks pertinent questions. I'd bet money that if you checked "people marked" members of this forum you'd find Mickey is marked by many. I know I have him marked along with Loophole, Rmarchma and a few others.
I've researched many stocks over the years and have yet to find a stock with fundamentals even close to IDCC. Cash is approaching $14 per share in the next few months with more coming all the time. I really don't understand why IDCC isn't north $40. IMO, the scientists and engineers at IDCC are doing their job.........it's upper management that is disappointing.
Dmiller, near as I can tell you are either a glutton for punishment or are short IDCC. Your words definitely conflict with your position in IDCC. This is just my opinion however.
Ed, what exactly is "tangible book value"? And please explain why it is $2 while IDCC has almost $10 per share in cash. tia
EDIT:
Oops! I just read other responses to you and realize that I posted a duplicate. My apologies.
I hope you're right in that the price will rise in spite of poor mgt.
Dmiller, outside of signing Nokia do you have any ideas on why a stock with great fundamentals (like IDCC) has such stagnant price movement? In other words......why have we run out of steam?
Could you please explain your reasoning in detail? Tia
Jimmy, are you sure he wasn't just winking at the "eye in the sky"?
Form 10-Q/A is out.

No baiting on my part. Just stating an opinion. Management has been patting themselves on the back long enough........not to mention awarding themselves bonuses. As shareholders, are we not the owners of this company? It's long over-due that we get rewards similar to management. Of course this is just my opinion.
FWIW, I don't cater to Dmiller. He's more than capable of speaking his own thoughts.
Hello Mickey. I'm curious, what steps are taken to remove a chairman? Does this process have to be brought up by the BOD?
Now there's something we can agree with. Let's put Harry out to pasture.
Nope, bought 2 thirds of my shares back in 2001 and another third in 2006. I'm very aware that IDCC has been a trader's dream but I buy and hold. As you can tell by the chart below IDCC is selling at about the same as 5 years ago. Do you think Harry and his management team are worth the same as they were 5 years ago?

Strategy? Well duh right back at ya! Near as I can tell as a 7 year long, their strategy appears to be stuffing their own pockets. It's long over-due for shareholders to see some green.
