I agree. I watched the Germany/Poland match the other day, and thought the commentary was awful. They do it infinitely better in Italy. It was a pretty good game, too. The Poles were badly outmatched, except for their defense, but they were plucky, and almost pulled off a draw.
How very sanctimonious of you, rruuuffffffy.
FWIW it's aparently not Johnny Nash, but Johnny Mash. Pr has two different names.
Gotta love Mario's attention to detail.
lol, they were another one that was supposed to be the "next QBID". They've indeed emulated QBID as far as dilution is concerned.
Poor Rick; that must be rough for him.
God. Now he's in SMMW. Rick is a nice enough guy, but pretty clueless. Probably that's why Pearl hired him.
Maybe.... But he was so enthusiastic about his upcoming trip to the Philippines.
And then he was gone...
Must have been worth it for the entertainment value, though.
My GOD you're repetitive.
So why do you think Rick the IR guy quit?
Sorry, but "paid bashers" would obviously be people who are paid to bash. Your definitions do not apply.
I still out scams, rrufff.
Nonsense.
LOL!! That CMKX party was the kiss of death, if one were needed. I wish I'd been there. It must have been quite something, right down to the bacon-wrapped shrimp.
btw, here's some PAIM "news" for your consideration. Apparently Rick the IR guy has quit; he posted about it somewhere on AOL.
Naturally I know. Everyone knew, and of course he wasn't the only one. So what's the big deal?
The hedge fund manager on SI was well-paid.
Which one?
Energomash may have recieved tons of investor inquiries. So why wouldn't they want to squelch any rumours or innuendoes if they were NOT involved with KSWJ, and offer a PR of their own to stop the rumors?
As someone suggested earlier, they probably just don't care. They're a Russian company. They don't operate the way American companies do. Russian companies don't feel the kind of obligation to the public that North American companies do. And after all, you're not even their shareholders.
They were involved with breaking the rules perhaps, as it is alleged, of champerty.
You mean Milberg Weiss? I'm afraid I don't quite see how class action attorneys can be accused of champerty. Unless you mean the people they allegedly hired to act as plaintiffs. People who had no previous involvement with the stock in question.
It's not much more of a step to claim that there may have been some manipulation on message boards.
It isn't? I see no relation between the two.
Anthony? He was being "paid" to run his own business. He also made money on trades, of course. Sure he "bashed" stocks he shorted. And he was right about them, too. What's the difference between criticizing a stock you're short and pointing out the good qualities of a stock you're long?
Naturally frontrunning is wrong, but it seems (except in Tony's case) to be a gray area. Lebed frontruns. Willy frontruns; sheesh, he even brags about it. But nobody's going after them, though I very much wish someone would.
Like Jim, I know a great many "bashers". Not one has ever even been OFFERED money for posting.
What about my post, the original post about the debentures, is it with which you disagree?
The discussion took place when Pearl hadn't yet said that the "exchange" would be "automatic". Your contention was that shareholders would be wise to accept the debentures and the 90% reduction of their shares.
My contention was that the smart money would obviously refuse the exchange and retain all of their original position.
E-Trade mailed everyone their preferred certificates today.
That in itself would suggest that it hasn't been shorted.
Paid bashers are subject to rules of manipulation, e.g., Reg Sec 10(b)-5. Paid bashers, if they work with traders could find trouble in cases of front running and other issues.
If you must prosecute this off-topic argument, please produce ONE EXAMPLE of a "paid basher" who was sanctioned by the SEC.
I think you're right. It's kind of like what happened with GVRP: after one of the insiders made an enormous mess, the company tried to ignore it, and announced they were doing a reverse split. In fact, they announced that they were doing a number of things.
But those things never actually happened. Evidently someone said "No way".
pearl in the other hand has come through with all she has said...
What about those debentures? Oh yeah....are you making any money?
There's all the proof in the world that Pearl was once President of the DoM. There's also proof that she was/is married to Pedley/Korem. That proof has been posted here many times.
Oh yeah, and there isn't any doubt that the DoM is a scam. Worse than just a scam, actually.
WHAT??
Merely because I decided to give an opinion, not on buying the stock, but on the math of the debenture, the bashers and posterior kissers decided to attack.
We merely disagreed. Why do you construe that as an "attack"?
Your thoughts on PAIM are welcome here. Your constant off-topic whining and attention-seeking are not. Go back and read your own posts from today. 90% are about YOU, not PAIM.
Why did you delete my posts that detailed the cowardly wormie lying attacks on me by Famulush?
Probably because he's sick and tired of your perpetual whining and personal attacks. WHY do believe every board you post on should be all about YOU?
if you know for a fact(wich no basher has yet to produce) that pearl is a scam...
Pearl is a former President of the DoM, and she was (and perhaps still is) the wife of Mark Pedley/David Korem. I'd say that's pretty scammy, wouldn't you?
I believe you opined that the debenture deal could not be done. What is the basis of your opinion Janice?
If she really wanted to reduce the o/s by 90% and give people debentures to make up for their loss, she'd have to make a tender offer. She didn't do that. Alternatively, she could have filed to do a reverse split and offered the debentures as a kind of dividend.
Pearl can't just make up her own rules; she can't just order brokerages to remove shares from people's accounts. It's possible that she could order the TA to stop some transfers, but I think that would create potential legal problems for both Pearl and the TA. The TA nobody can get in touch with anyway.
Nothing happened today, did it?
janice its after the close of the 15th....then its effective...read the pr.....
I just reread the PR, and that's not what it says.
lol, I hope he wasn't. It would be sooooo perfect.
lol, musta been a CMKXer.
It was pretty amazing. Even months later, people were writing to us trying to buy nodes.
I am, however, trying to get Janice to explain why the PR was released if it is a scam. What purpose did it serve the scammers? Seems that it would only give the authorities more of a trail to track the instigators down, like leaving fingerprints at the scene of a crime.
Okay, IF they were scammers, the idea might simply have been to keep shareholders from making any further complaints. This would give them time to cover their tracks.
Or, they might just be dumb. If this is a scam, it certainly isn't a very slick one.
I had called to get answers from the SEC. Yet, the SEC wanted answers from me.
Then I think we can conclude that they're still investigating. Were any of the names Russian names?
lol, but the complainant won't be able to make it stick. Hell, the SEC and the Department of Energy didn't mind. Only Bizwire. They were feeling a little touchy because they'd been willing to issue PRs for some genuinely fraudulent companies. The kind that actually exist.
The SEC even imitated us, but I don't think they did as good a job:

No idea what the SEC is doing about KSWJ. I'm sure they made an effort to contact the principals. According to the PR, the company submitted some documents to the SEC. Did that really happen? Who knows?
Does the SEC have jurisdiction to investigate a foreign entity, ie Energomash?
Only if it has a presence in the States.
If the SEC cannot validate or identify the company nor the CEO's, would it announce that to the public?
No, they wouldn't make an announcement. They could bring a lawsuit, or they could eventually attempt to revoke the stock's registration, IF it had ever registered under Section 12g in the first place.
Could they scammers have made anything worth a darn on a pps of $.0005 or whatever?
IF they were scamming, yes, they could have made some money.
Oh for God's sake, Red. The SEC had excellent reason to suspend. They like to have information like names, addresses, and phone numbers.
Most people do. I really don't understand why you're being so obstinate about this.
Can you get in touch with any company officer? Do you have a physical address for them? Do you have a phone number?
Do you know where "George Anderson" disappeared to?
I really can't think of any bigger red flags.
But if he had reason to believe KSWJ is a scam wouldn't he steer an investor AWAY from bogus PR's and the like???
Nope. He's just telling you that HE is not, and won't be, a source of information about KSWJ.
When you're dealing with a company that gave a phony address and a pay phone number in Brooklyn, I don't think you should assume that anything is "legit".
To date, we have absolutely NOTHING. And I certainly don't have to accept that.
