.75's getting crushed! .76's up!!!
Errrrr.....blood is shooting from my eyes!!! The rich countries must help the poor countries by giving them technology? Oh wait a second, this is coming out of Norway, a completely socialist country. Great, no surprise there.
maybe they This is vital so that the interns do not feel like they have been thrown out into the deep end and do not have any direction.
Thanks for the post!

Bummer, on a record volume day too!
I have a feeling that was berman buying a few shares to raise the price just to make himself feel better.

Yep, I dislike big salaries unless they can be justified. The President of Food for the Poor makes 350k I think, but he also manages almost $1 billion. I think his salary is something like .03% of expenses.
However, the most rewarding gift I can give is time through volunteer work. I would rather get out an physically make a difference, however, giving money is also a good thing.
-faz
Yep,
I love this site. It is the one I use to research the charities I give to. My favorite is Food for the Poor. 96.1% goes to people who need it directly.
Anyway have a look:

Thanks Clay.
Let's test that next resistance!!!

No worries alex!
I almost wonder if the analysts over at S&P have been using this board, with all the incredible DD that goes on, to compile their report.
Heck, we should definitely have a footnote mention!
-faz
No worries. I can't wait until the 10K is out and then week can start populating some of those tables with actual data regarding revenues and earnings.
I am lovin' the action over the past couple of weeks. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those investments that I look back 5 years from now and say, damn, that was a smart move!
All my opinion though.

Chevron Confirms Development of Nigeria Deepwater Field
Friday, February 29, 2008
http://www.subseaiq.com/News/Articles/200802/Chevron_Confirms_Development_of_Nigeria__9055.aspx
Chevron confirms that its subsidiary Chevron Nigeria Deepwater Limited and its co-venturers are moving forward to develop the offshore Usan field in Nigeria.
"The Usan development project adds to Chevron’s deep queue of projects that are expected to generate significant new production from West Africa's deep water," said Ali Moshiri, president, Chevron Africa and Latin America Exploration and Production.
Discovered in 2002, the Usan Field is located at a water depth of 2,461 feet (750 meters) in Oil Mining License 138 approximately 62 miles (100 kilometers) off the coast in the eastern Niger Delta. The development plan for the Usan Field includes a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel with a storage capacity of 2 million barrels of oil. First production is expected in late 2011 with peak production of 180,000 barrels of oil per day. The associated gas will be reinjected in the reservoir.
"Usan will further enhance Chevron's already strong position in Nigeria and West Africa," said Fred Nelson, managing director, Chevron Nigeria/Mid-Africa Strategic Business Unit.
Co-venturers in the Usan Field development are Chevron Nigeria Limited (30 percent), Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited (20 percent and operator), Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria (Offshore East) Ltd. (30 percent), and Nexen Petroleum Nigeria Ltd. (20 percent).
Now that is a pretty weak market cap! 18.5k. Serves that bum right.

Oil stocks are getting crushed right now. Any idea why?

Gotta love the evolution of the about russell industries statement in the PRs.

Funny how he has such a hard time keeping things straight...even about his own freaking comapny!!! LOL!
One question I have is: Are we possibly, actually, maybe, probably, most likely going to be acquiring assests in several different industries? That could very well help determine the course I take with the $133.50 worth of RUSL stock I have!
-faz
From the PR:
"“We have elected to engage two independent geologists to issue NI 43-101 compliant reports to establish an economic valuation of the underlying assets of the claims we now have in house,” said Russell Industries President and CEO Mr. Rick Berman."
I guess to Berman, engage means looking up on the internet how other uranium companies do actual business. Then, Google what a geologist is and figure out what an NI 43-101 is. Next, issue a PR indicating that the company has engaged two independent geologists and assume because you PR'd it, that the NI 43-101 report will magically appear. When it doesn't, elect to foget about the PR and hope that those pesky shareholders don't catch on. Finally, because questions are raised, divert attention by stumbling upon a giant pile of useless crap that is HOT and say that contracts are being settled to sell it.
Gotta to love the twisted logic of a loser. Must suck for Berman that since he is not smart enough or good enough to succeed in business legitimately, that he has to resort to stealing from shareholders.
Hey Berman, I have an idea for you. Don't issue PRs about things you do not intend to do.
-faz
""Russell Industries plans to grow aggressively by making strategic acquisitions of companies with present cash flows that will be immediately accretive to the company's bottom line. The shareholders are and will remain the company's number one focus."
AWESOME!!

Still one of my most favorite PRs by Berman the knucklehead!
Russell Industries Acquires American Uranium Mining Company
Published: 06/19/07 08:21 AM CDT
Russell Industries, Inc. (RSDS) announces that it has acquired American Uranium Mining Company, formerly Ithaca Industries, Inc (ITHI). The Company owns 68 Uranium Mining Claims located in the Briger Jack section, San Juan County, Utah. “This acquisition is synergistic with Russell Industries’ focus on the Uranium market and will increase our holding company’s assets to 322 Uranium mining claims which will now encompass 6,440 acres in San Juan County,” said Rick Berman, who will be elected President and CEO. Ithaca, a publicly traded company, will continue to have its stock quoted on the pink sheet market. Russell Industries will announce the new symbol and date trading will begin in a future press release.
Berman is an idiot. Can you believe that he would actually send this PR for print when the whole time he was scrwing over the investors by buying AUMN himself.
What a joke. Berman if you are reading this, you're a joke.
-faz
Makes,
I am taking a huge beating at work ever since I recommended to the company to allocate a large portion of the employees 401k plan into RSDS.
Talk about a mistake of gargantuan proportions!!!
Now I don't get any Christmas cards all the while that Berman gets to be all snug and cozy with his crazy, yet completely compitent in all things uranium exploration related, family in Houston.
We really should be allowed to claim this investment as a charitble donation seeing how we provided for Berman and his family through these difficult times of 504's and R/S's. I wonder if the man gets any sleep at all during the night?
-faz
Those darn platforms that provide us with the fuel that makes our lives so good.
I HATE those darn things.
LOL!
"Either way, America loses."
Hate to say it but...America loses everytime the government gets involved.
Thanks for the correction.
-faz
You want the job?
Oh man, now it is on. I can't wait to see what Berman is going to do a his first act as CEO of the Russell Industries (RUSL.PK). I wonder if it will look something like this.
"Russell Industries is dedicated to following our company business model of acquiring, developing, logging and producing worthless...errr..I mean valuable uranium mining claims. As always the shareholders are and will continue to be our greatest asset and we will do everything we can to bring them value."
Then, his next step would be to anounce a 10000 to 1 R/S arguing that "the current share price, .03 a share, does not adequately reflect the value of the company. Therefore, the board of director has decided he will vote on the R/S."
Meanwhile, the shareholders are beginning to ask silly questions such as:
1. What happened to that big piling of HOT tailings you were supposed to sell?
2. When will the next 504 start now that you have voted all by yourself for an R/S?
3. Is your company really in chapter 7 bankruptcy?
4. Do you even know what Uranium is?
please refer to the ibox for a good list of other silly questions that I can't imagine why any shareholder would want an answer to!
Oh well...life goes on in the world of pinks I guess. Two awesome companies with really great potential are DPDW.OB and SRSR.PK. I love them!

Trueheart,
It is very troubling and frustrating that Bush gave into environmentalists in Florida. However, from what i understand is that states only control 3-4 miles out in the Atlantic and the Gulf. Therefore, the offshore areas that would be developed would fall under Ferderal control. What we need is an act of congress to lift the offshore drilling ban from 1981. Once that happens, the federal government could step in an take charge.
Either way, I don't think that we will see any movement on the ban of offshore drilling in the next 4-5 years, especially if we get a democrat in the white house with a democratic congress.
Oh well, lets look to international plays like every other major oifield service provider.
-faz
Good cartoon!
-faz
Oh so true. What a joke that the US, with the greatest economy the Earth has ever seen, is unable to take advantage of it's own resources. Maybe we should buddy up with Cuba as they seem to have no problems getting at our oil.
Cuba Plans Offshore Wells Banned in U.S. Waters
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/09/washington/09drill.html
There is a huge potential offshore for deepwater oil, we just need to get access to it. The best part for oil services such as deep down would be that if we did open up offshore US, we would see a quick drop in the price of oil yet we would see a big demand for offshore services. Especially deepwater.

When is enough going to truly be enough? When is the world going to wake up?
Long-range rockets fired from Gaza are Iranian: Israel army
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=080303163555.4of4atm8&show_article=1
The Israeli army on Monday said that all the long-range rockets fired by Gaza militants against southern Israel during the latest round of violence were manufactured in arch-foe Iran.
Speaking to the parliament's powerful foreign affairs and defence committee, a senior military intelligence official said that over 20 Katyusha-type rockets, also known as Grad, were fired against Israel since last Thursday.
"We are talking about regular Iranian-made rockets," an official quoted the intelligence official as saying.
The 122-millimetre rockets have a range of about 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) and carry a large payload which caused heavy damage to buildings in the southern coastal town of Ashkelon, which bore the brunt of the Grad rocket fire.
Gaza militants have in recent years fired thousands of short-range makeshift rockets and mortars against southern Israel, but have only rarely fired the longer-range Grad-type rockets.
Israel believes that over 100 such rockets were smuggled into the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip through its porous border with Egypt in recent months following the Hamas violent takeover of the territory, a security official has told AFP.
More than 116 Palestinians, including 22 children, were killed during the latest escalation of violence in Gaza which erupted last Wednesday and ended early Monday morning. Two Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian have also been killed.
Israel accuses Iran of actively backing and supplying arms to Hamas.
- It is time to pull the golves off on these 15th centruy throwbacks known as radcial islamists. Guess Israel turns out to be the sucker by giving Gaza up to the degenerates in Palestine. Israel needs to give Gaza a couple of days to evacuate and then go in an level the place and then when they pull back they need to salt the earth.
One day the Palestinians will realize that there terrorist Hamas gvernment is going to be the end of them.

Wonder who bought this at .05 and .03?
Suckers!!

Bri,
Where ya been...long time! How are ya mate?
-faz
My TD Ameritrade account still shows I have RSDS shares.
-faz
I don't think the last statement is accurate or truthful. Selling the tailings pile did not follow Berman's...errr...RSDS's business model of pushing shareprice lower and lower, perfrom R/S, then repeat, thus generating revenue for the company...errr...Berman's wallet.
-faz
Excellent quote from November 1, 2007 PR:
“The sale of this material will represent Russell Industries’ first revenue since the Company was cleared for quotation in 2006. It is even more gratifying to see this revenue was generated from the Company’s 2007 strategic business plan and business model. We will continue to follow the plan and look for further success in the remaining quarter of 2007,” said Rick Berman, President and CEO.
I guess just like every single one of Bermna's statements, this isn't true either.
-faz
Glad to see that the website has been updated...oh wait...no it hasn't!!!
This is a real classy company we got here. I think that Rick Berman is the best CEO ever!
Come on, lets be positive! Let's look to the bright side of this! I mean, when we were at .0001, I didn't think we could go any lower. We must have hit a bottom here.
Maybe Rick will stumble across another pile of uranium tailings which he tells us he will sell and then never does. I bet the people at the White Mesa Mill are laughing their tails off about this sorry excuse for a buinessman.
But hey, we are still in one of the most exciting industries out there! We still have claims don't we?
-faz
Yep,
I just got a courtesy call from one of my brokers saying that RSDS wen through a revese split.he said 5000 to 1...damn! Anyway, now that we have lost 94% of the value of RUSL, I think I may just hold on to what I have and look for the day we do another R/S!!

Two killed in shooting at Wendy's near West Palm Beach
By Rochelle E. B. Gilken
Palm Beach Post Staff Writer
Monday, March 03, 2008
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/localnews/content/local_news/epaper/2008/03/03/0303wpbshot.html
Update 2:30 p.m.: According to Sheriff's Office spokesman Paul Miller, there were six victims in today's Wendy's shooting at North Military Trail and Cherry Road near West Palm Beach. Two are dead - the gunman and and a middle aged white man.
A witness saw the shooter enter the restaurant bathroom. As soon as he came out he pulled out what looked like a 9mm handgun. He shot the deceased victim at near point-blank range then turned to the left and started shooting more rounds.
Witness Jerry Pritcherd, 20, of Fort Myers, said he heard a pop and didn't realize it was gunshots. He said he was "scared" when he heard about 20 pops and ran out. He said he was 10 feet away from the shooter, who he said was a tall black man wearing a business suit.
According to a witness, all of the victims are customers. After firing off many rounds, the gunman then shot himself and died in the middle of the restaurant. Three victims were flown to area hospitals.
The gunman didn't demand money or say anything, according to a witness. None of the victims were children; two are described as elderly.
The sheriff's violent crimes task force is investigating. They're encouraging everyone who was there to contact investigators.
A father and son, Richard and Richard Anon of Miami, were just leaving a John Smith Subs restaurant across Military Trail when they saw customers running out of the Wendy's. "We thought there was a fight in the parking lot. Everyone was just running out," said the elder Anon
A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokesman said no motive for the shootings were known Monday afternoon.
In the past year, several random mass shootings in public places have stunned the nation, including the most deadly where 32 people at Virginia Tech were killed in April. Seung hui Cho, the Virginia Tech shooter, also killed himself.
But before Virginia Tech, in February last year, an 18-year-old gunman killed five people and wounded four others at the Trolley Square shopping Center in Salt Lake City.
Following Virginia Tech, two high profile public shootings have hit communities in Omaha and Illinois. In December, eight people were killed at the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska before the gunman shot himself.
Most recently, a student shot and killed five people in February at Northern Illinois University before killing himself.
My 1800 RUSL shares are now worth $54!!!
Come on baby, papa needs a brand new bottle of scotch!
